- Many Baby Trend infant car seats carry FAA approval for airplane use. Look for the FAA certification label on your particular model. Install rear-facing using only the airplane lap belt (base stays at home). Always confirm your model's approval status before flying.
- Can baby stay in car seat through airport security?
- No, TSA requires babies and children to be removed from car seats during screening. The car seat goes through the X-ray machine separately while you carry your child through the metal detector or scanner. Plan for this extra time during security.
- Can 1 year old sit in a front facing car seat?
