Safety 1st Crosstown Slim All-in-One Convertible Car Seat (City Storm)
The Safety 1st Crosstown Slim All-in-One Convertible Car Seat (City Storm) is a 3-in-1 seat supporting rear-facing (5–40 lbs), forward-facing (30–65 lbs), and booster (40–100 lbs) modes for children from birth to 10 years. It features a slim 17-inch width for three-across vehicle fit, an 8-position headrest with no-rethread harness, removable cup holders, and machine-washable fabrics. User reviews highlight easy installation and lightweight travel use, but note that the harness can be difficult to tighten and the lower harness height may limit longevity for taller children.

General impressions of Safety 1st all-in-one for toddlers
I have the Safety 1st Crosstown Slim and it’s so light and narrow. Perfect for three across. But the straps are a pain to tighten and feel cheap. My 3yo is already near the top harness slot.

Comparison with Graco SlimFit3 and swivel seats
We have the Crosstown Slim for travel and it’s great—super light, easy install. Not as plush as the Graco SlimFit3 but half the price. Fits three across in our Mazda CX-5.

Opinions on best car seat for 3-year-old, Safety 1st mentioned
Got the Safety 1st Crosstown. It’s okay for the price. Fabric pills quickly, and the buckle feels flimsy. Straps are hard to tighten enough. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

Technical discussion on Safety 1st Ever Slim installation and fit
The Crosstown Slim is basically the same as the Ever Slim. I’m a CPST—it installs easily with LATCH or seatbelt. It’s one of the narrowest seats, good for 3-across. But the harness height maxes out early; my long-torsoed 4yo already outgrew it harnessed.
