App experience and lengthy use case
The Mamaroo is an excellent swing. The app is pretty good; you can change the motion and sound without disturbing the baby. But the playback/music from your phone never worked for me. The base is huge! Overall, we like it but...don’t think it’s a must have. we have a big house but it doesn’t get moved. I love using it while I’m cooking or eating and I can have her right in the kitchen with me. I used it for 5 months with my first and currently using it for my second.

Hated it, baby hated it, fisher price swing for the win. Babies only use swings for a few months max. Not worth the large price tag.

Buying used and resale value
I bought it used. Not worth it at all brand new. My baby did enjoy it though. The resale value is terrible by the way. Amazon Prime Day is coming up. I saw them at a very cheap price last year.
