It really worked well
It really worked well. Used it at the driving range. If i play as a sigle by myself ill us it on the course. Not sure of the transition without it.
This is great
This is great. So simply designed and yet so useful. I'm really enjoying it and I'm going to try it on every club. Kudos

Great product, but there’s no detailed example of hand placement. They’re a few videos but really no details explaining the particulars of the product, where and how the hands fit in relation to the grip ( where should the tabs be between index finger and thumb, where should the thumb be in relation to openings) given the large number of differences between hand sizes this information would be very helpful for anyone using a product.

It works the best for my dad he is now hitting the bal actually straight Not working so good for me my grip already perfect
Excellent!
Great product. Corrects your grip and improves your shot right away. I wish I could keep it on all my clubs when playing. I am super disappointed I cannot buy a lefty trainer for my son... hopefully SKLZ will make a lefty version soon!
Amazing!!
My brother bought one of these and recommended to me. So glad I listened and got one myself!! I’m amazed how just this small adjustment has made such a huge difference. I’m crushing the ball off the tee, and the part of my game I struggled with the most, which was hitting the ball off the ground, is no longer a problem. I still have a long way to go to best my golf buddies, but at least I’m not the guy holding everyone up anymore!!
I have found that this device confirmed that my grip was very close to being perfect
I have found that this device confirmed that my grip was very close to being perfect. But it also reminded me that I have to find a process to duplicate the grip on every shot. Worth the money it helps me.

7 high confidence · 4 web-sourced
Do users report immediate improvement with this trainer, and do they say they can reliably replicate the corrected grip once the trainer is removed?
Yes — most customers report an immediate improvement in hand placement and shot quality when using this trainer. Several reviewers say it quickly “fixes” the grip (and improves shots), but a few note that you’ll need deliberate practice to reliably duplicate the corrected grip after you remove the device — transfer to unaided shots is common but not guaranteed.
customer_reviews (review_summary and individual reviews by Paul F, Scott Dunn, DanC)
Will the trainer fit oversized (jumbo), midsize, and undersized grips, or is it limited to standard-size grips?
This Grip Trainer is made for standard-size club grips and is not intended for oversized (jumbo), midsize, or undersized grips. It will attach to most clubs from driver through wedge when those clubs have standard grips.
product_description; features & specs (designed for standard-size club grips; attaches to most clubs driver through wedge)
Is there a left-handed version, or can this right-handed model be used effectively by left-handed golfers?
We do not currently offer a left‑handed version — this Grip Trainer is built specifically for right‑handed golfers and is shaped/positioned for a right‑hand grip, so it won’t give correct hand placement for a left‑handed player. A customer review also noted disappointment that a lefty model isn’t available.
product_description; customer_reviews
Does the attachment stay securely on during full swings and while walking a round, or does it typically need to be removed before hitting shots?
We made the Grip Trainer to attach to most clubs (driver through wedge), and many customers use it for full‑swing practice — reviewers report using it successfully on the driving range. Because it’s marketed as a practice / pre‑round aid, some golfers remove it for regular play, so leaving it on during a round is a personal preference.
product_features; customer_reviews
Is the trainer compatible with different grip styles (overlap, interlock, ten-finger), or is it designed for a single hand placement?
We designed this Grip Trainer to create one consistent hand placement to instill muscle memory; it fits all hand sizes and attaches to most clubs but is built for right‑handed golfers. The product details and customer reviews do not list separate settings for overlap, interlock, or ten‑finger grips, so this is intended to teach a single recommended hand placement rather than multiple distinct grip styles.

How does the trainer attach to the grip (slip-on sleeve, snap-fit, adhesive), and will it scratch, compress, or leave marks on leather/suede/rubber grips?
This is a flexible slip‑on / friction‑fit sleeve that you slide or “clip” onto standard‑size grips (no adhesive) and it stays by a snug fit. [1][2] It’s made roughly 50% ABS (plastic) and 50% TPR (soft thermoplastic rubber) where it contacts the grip, so it’s not designed to scratch leather, suede or rubber under normal short‑term practice use; still, users note it can shift during full swings, so we recommend checking the fit and removing it after practice to avoid any long‑term compression or marking on very soft grips. Can the trainer be used while wearing a golf glove, and does wearing a glove change the fit or effectiveness?
Yes — you can use the SKLZ Grip Trainer while wearing a golf glove; reviewers and golfers report using it with a glove and still receiving the trainer’s tactile hand-position feedback. [1][2][3] A glove normally won’t change how the trainer fits or its effectiveness, but very thick/bulky gloves or non‑standard/oversized grips can affect how snugly it sits, so start with short swings to confirm it’s secure before full shots. What is the TPR portion’s firmness/texture (tacky/soft vs. firm), and does it provide tactile feedback or feel rigid during the grip?
This trainer is made of roughly 50% TPR (thermoplastic rubber), so the TPR sections have a rubbery, slightly soft/tacky feel that gives grip and tactile feedback rather than feeling hard or completely rigid. SKLZ does not publish a Shore‑hardness number for the part, so we can’t give an exact firmness rating; some users have described the unit as a bit flexible (not rock‑solid) while still providing useful feedback for hand position. Is this trainer permitted for use in competitive play (USGA/R&A), or is it intended only for practice sessions?
We sell the Sklz Grip Trainer as a practice aid — it’s intended for range and warm-up use, not for use during an official round. Under the Rules of Golf (Rule 4.3) the USGA/R&A prohibit using training or swing aids that assist with grip, alignment or preparing a stroke; you may carry a training aid in your bag but using it during play can incur the general penalty and further breaches can lead to disqualification.
