Discussion on baby swings for multiples; Ingenuity mentioned as a budget portable option
We have the Ingenuity swing and it's been great for our twins. It's lightweight and easy to move around the house. The speed settings are quiet and the music is soothing.

Newborn recline issue with Ingenuity swing
It’s too deep for my newborn. His head falls forward and it doesn’t seem safe. We partially solved the problem by folding up a receiving blanket under his bottom and turning the head rest around so he’s more comfortable.

Mixed opinions on swing use for newborns
I used the Ingenuity swing for my newborn but only when supervised because of the recline. It was okay as long as I kept an eye on him.
Recommendation for Ingenuity as best infant swing for portability
Loved the Ingenuity portable swing. Folds up easily, quiet motor, and the toy bar is a nice touch. Took it on vacation and it was a lifesaver.

Safety concern with Ingenuity 3-in-1 swing: no lock mechanism
It is difficult for me to review this item. It was easy to assemble. I like the fact that is is compact and does not require a lot of space, but because there is no locking mechanism when putting the infant into the swing, it is very difficult to put the baby into the swing and very unsafe. As a result, I only put my grandson into the swing once. I really wish that there was a locking mechanism and that I could safely put him into the swing.

Ingenuity swing recommended as affordable alternative to Mamaroo
If you're looking for a budget-friendly swing, the Ingenuity one is decent. My baby liked it until about 4 months. Not as fancy as the Mamaroo but gets the job done.
