Safety 1st Ellaris as budget all-in-one: light and travel-friendly but tricky install and less padding
I have the Safety 1st Ellaris and it's been a great budget seat. It's lightweight so we use it for travel. Installation was definitely a learning curve though. It doesn't have a lot of padding so my LO isn't super plush but he doesn't seem to mind. If you can afford it, I'd go with the Graco Extend2Fit for extended rear-facing and easier install, but the Ellaris gets the job done if you're on a budget.

Ellaris vs. Trooper: both budget but installation struggles highlighted
I'm trying to decide between the Baby Trend Trooper and the Safety 1st Ellaris for a travel/backup seat. I know they're both budget seats. The Ellaris is lighter which is a plus for carrying through the airport. Has anyone had trouble installing either? I've read mixed reviews on the Ellaris installation.

Swivel vs. budget: Ellaris considered but concerns about comfort and recline
I'm torn between the Evenflo Revolve360 and a budget option like the Safety 1st Ellaris. The swivel feature sounds amazing for my bad back but the price is a big jump. Has anyone used the Ellaris? I'm worried about it being too bare-bones and uncomfortable for my baby.

Budget 3-across solution: Ellaris praised for slim profile and value
I needed a narrow seat to fit three across in my Subaru and the Safety 1st Ellaris was the cheapest option that worked. It's definitely not fancy but it fits and my 3 year old is comfortable enough. For the price I can't complain.
