The GB Pockit Air All Terrain Ultra Compact Travel Stroller is a lightweight, ultra-compact stroller designed for travel and urban transit. Weighing only 10.3 lbs, it folds to handbag size (11.8 x 7 x 13.8 inches) and fits in airplane overhead bins or under seats. It features all-terrain double wheels, a breathable mesh backrest, and a five-point harness, making it suitable for infants and toddlers up to 55 lbs. While users praise its portability and compact fold, they note that the stroller can feel flimsy and the folding mechanism requires practice, so it is best reserved for travel rather than everyday use.

Community Q&A

Is the GB Pockit Air All Terrain suitable as an everyday stroller?
No, it's too flimsy and lacks storage and comfort for daily use; it's best reserved for travel or occasional subway trips.
Does it really fit in an airplane overhead bin?
Yes, many users confirm it fits in overhead bins and can even stow under some seats, making it a great carry-on.
How does it handle on rough or uneven surfaces?
It can handle mild unevenness like cobblestones or sidewalk cracks, but the ride is shaky and not recommended for very rough terrain.
Is the folding mechanism easy?
No, it often requires two hands and practice; the compact fold is impressive but frustrating for quick in-and-out use.

Compared To

vs Babyzen Yoyo

Often recommended as a superior alternative: better build quality, smoother ride, and easier fold, but slightly less compact and more expensive.

vs Uppababy Minu

The Minu is heavier and bulkier but offers better comfort, storage, and durability; preferred for everyday use.

vs Bugaboo Butterfly

The Butterfly is praised for its compact fold and maneuverability, comparable to the Yoyo, and often considered a better but pricier option.

vs Joolz Aer

The Aer features an easier one-handed fold and better suspension, making it a strong contender for those prioritizing ease of use over absolute compactness.

  • Best worst stroller: great for subway travel despite flimsy feel

I got the Pockit Air. It is a pain in the ass to collapse and open, but it is great for subway travel. My kid is now 4 and we use it every time we go on the subway. I don’t recommend it for every day use, it’s pretty flimsy feeling and doesn’t have a lot of storage space - but great for travel.

  • Durability advocate: flimsy feel but nearly impossible to break

I LOVE the pockit. It’s the only stroller I have used for years. It does feel a little flimsy, but it’s actually not. I’ve run mine hard for nearly three years and cannot break it. It’s like a carbon fiber ultralight glider - built to flex, but nearly impossible to break.

  • All terrain tested in Quebec City: light, compact, handles uneven streets

i just bought the GB pockit all terrain and test it for four days during our trip in old quebec city. We really like the stroller, yes its a bit shaky but its so light and so small when packed, for us it is what make the most difference. The fact that you can fold the stroller and put it under your chair at a restaurant is so nice, you can bring it anywere you want. i was also surprise to see that the stroller work well on unleveled street, it as the same confort as our old umbrella stroller.

  • All-terrain model fits under airplane seat, beloved by toddler

My tall 34 lb 3 year old still LOVES the GB Pockit+ (all-terrain so it’s not as comfortable as the all-city if you have that). I love that in it’s most compact fold it’s so tiny that I can put it under the seat when flying so it can count as a personal item instead of a carry-on.

  • Mixed feelings in Japan: great size but lacks upright seat and quick fold

We have the GB Pockit and live in a big city (in Japan). I have mixed feelings. Pros: Great size, weight, folds up easy for transport (when going in taxis, on long haul trains). Right width for fitting through ticket gates. I have carried a toddler on my hip and carried the stroller folded in my other hand! Cons: Kinda wish it was a regular umbrella stroller for easier folding for quick train rides (like going a couple stops). I feel like it doesn’t sit my kid upright enough. My husband doesn’t like how it handles compared to our Uppababy Vista, which I agree with, but I find that less annoying.
