We got the Bright Starts vibrating bouncer as a hand-me-down and the vibration actually worked great for our colicky baby—it was the only thing that calmed her. But after about a month the vibration motor started making a weird noise and then just died. I've heard you can replace the battery but ours didn't seem to help. Not sure if we just got a dud or if it's a common issue.
