Negative experience with build quality and wall damage from pressure mount
I have several of those. Two are great. Unfortunately, I think they changed where or how their 'non-scuff feet' are placed into the gate. They stick into the wall now, and when we went to adjust the pressure (after the gate became flimsy and difficult to get it to lock), the foot tore up our wall. We've never had a gate's foot do more than scuff the paint, but this tore up our wall.

Mixed review with tips and alternative recommendations
We got a Toddleroo by North States gate off Amazon. It works OK for our needs... It is not in a high traffic area of the house so we never take it down. I would not want to take it down and put it back up repeatedly. If you're needing a gate to keep kids in your home (parents), get a gate that you don't have to relocate. First, the gate is a good build quality, I like the quick-fit mechanism. My wife doesn't necessarily agree... It's certainly a step up from the traditional wood gates. Second, the 'non-scuff feet' that go on the wall... tore up our wall. We have four children and five gates... and this is the only gate we've had an issue like this from. Overall, I can't recommend this gate unless you just need a budget option - but even then, there may be other better options.
