I've had the Dreo HM755S for a few months now in my open plan living/dining/kitchen (about 900 sq ft). It's incredible how long it runs—almost 5 days on low without refilling. The app is very slick but you do need to use distilled water, else you get white dust everywhere. Overall for the price, it's a solid unit, just be prepared for the size.

If you need something for a bigger space, the Dreo HM755S covers 1000 sq ft and runs 130h. It's ultrasonic though, so if you're worried about white dust, the Levoit 6000S is evaporative and covers even more space. I've been using the Dreo in my 800 sq ft basement and it keeps humidity rock solid at 45%.
