The SimpleComfort is the grab-and-go option — light, cheap, folds flat, does the job... The SimpleComfort runs on batteries only... If your baby loves the swing, you are running that thing for hours every single day. Batteries drain fast... The InLighten can plug into the wall... The InLighten's seat rotates so you can swing your baby front-to-back or side-to-side. The SimpleComfort only swings front-to-back.

I have the Ingenuity Simple Comfort and I like it. It's compact, has wheels on the front so it's easy to move around. I like that the seat rotates and it has 3 swing directions, and it plugs in (no batteries!). It does turn off after a timer but I just turn it back on.

My husband I were between this and graco had higher rating but went with this one because the plug in is nice and different swinging directions but 2 months later and it doesn't work. The motor broke for no reason.

This swing has been an absolute lifesaver for us! Our daughter had terrible colic, and this was the only thing that would soothe her some evenings... The plush seat is so comfortable, and the ability to switch between side-to-side and front-to-back swinging is brilliant... However, the motor occasionally hesitates to start, and the straps are difficult to adjust. The music could be better, and the auto shut-off timer is limiting.
