I love it and my first love it too... It's nice a simple and easy to move around. The only thing is that it doesn't swing as fast as a swing but it was enought for us. Bought mine used; couldn't think of spending the new cost... The different types of rocking/swinging look really cool! BUT! Your baby could very well love it. Maybe you could look into used so you're not out a ton of money if it doesn't work for your LO?

Discussion on whether Mamaroo is worth it, with mixed experiences
It’s hit and miss to be honest, and it’s a pricey hit and miss so I’d recommend secondhand (they are listed a lot because not all babies like them). My first hated it (was a gift thank goodness). My little guy now doesn’t mind it - he’ll chill in it and if he’s already asleep when I put him in it he’ll generally stay asleep. We’re having some well known mechanical issues with it though and I’m not super impressed considering the price.

Swing opinions: Mamaroo vs. Graco; many recommend secondhand
We have the Mamaroo and we really like it. We went for a used one for half the price and it works perfect. We have a small house so it folds and we can easily put away when we have company. It’s worked great for us and our LO naps in it everyday! But now that I have a baby I know that each baby is different. Some love it, some hate it.

Mamaroo yay or nay? More mixed opinions with safety reminders
My baby loved it and it was a godsend for the first 3 months. But def hit or miss for some babies. My friend’s little guy hated it. The motion is very polarizing lol. I got mine used for cheap and that’s the only way I’d recommend it given the risk they might hate it and considering they’re not safe for sleep.
