Diono quietly closed their doors at the end of last year, laying off all but a small staff to continue retail sales and support. Following that, the original owner of Diono (previously Sunshine Kids) bought back the company. This was posted on their website. They continued selling seats that had already been manufactured. I really hope so, I recommend the Diono Monterey and Cambria boosters often. Per rumors, they are resuming manufacturing and will have some seats available for sale starting this month.

Here is a list of different compatible boosters for fixed headrests... -Diono Cambria - any version including the 2XT, XL, or LE (up to 63 inches & 120 lbs) - available on Amazon; Diono Monterey is compatible too but hard to find (it has the same limits as the Cambria)

I ordered the Diono because reports say its wider and it goes to backless as well. It will be here next week, I'll report back

Are you able to find the Cambria? Diono isn’t selling seats at the moment, last I’d heard. - reply: Yes! Amazon has two different versions available. I’m disappointed the Monterey isn’t around, bc I loved that one with my older kids! ... I ended up buying the Britax and it’s good. I decided against the Diono after seeing the random seller on Amazon and concern about my headrests that push forward a bit. I know on my previous Diono boosters, head support from the vehicle was required and I didn’t want to chance it.
