The Ingenuity My Bath Seat Baby Bath Support Seat is a polypropylene bath seat designed for babies who can sit unassisted (approximately 5–10 months), providing 360° stability via suction cups that secure to standard rectangular tubs 21–24 inches wide. It features a high backrest for support and a compact design, but the front bar does not open, making it difficult to place and remove the baby, and users report mold growth under silicone parts even with careful drying.

  • Baby bath seat discussion in r/firsttimemom

I have the ingenuity one and the main issue is the front part doesn't detach so we have to lift our baby out of the seat leaving her legs on the side scraping against the plastic. I wish I would've gotten one with a removable bar or that detaches. Oh also check for mold in the seat!! We dry ours completely and are on top of cleaning it but I recently saw mold growing under the silicone piece on the front where it attaches to the plastic!

  • Upseat or Ingenuity for bath seat in r/beyondthebump

I use the upseat for my 5 month old and I love it. It’s very secure and my baby is very comfortable in it. I don’t know about the ingenuity one but I love the upseat. I bought my upseat at target. It was hard to find. I think I bought the last one lol. How old is your child? I think the upseat is best for under 6 months unless you have a smaller baby.

  • What bath tub are yall using? in r/NewParents

I use the ingenuity one. He is almost 8 months. It’s okay. Pain in the butt getting him in and out of it, lol. I wish the front bar opened. But it gets the job done. Nice to be able to wash him and have both hands free. Easy to install.

  • Need recommendations for a bathtub seat for a 4 month old in r/bigbabiesandkids

We just bought a bath seat from the brand ingenuity for our baby, but he hasn't tried it out yet. He's 5mo now and seems to sit well assisted, but it may take time before he can sit unassisted which is recommended for this seat. Some reviews say it's hard to get them in and out. FTM and anxious about bath time, hoping this seat works.
