Comparison of Sealy Cozy Cool with other brands
After researching to death, we are between the Sealy Cozy Cool 2-Stage and the Newton. The Sealy has great reviews, is Greenguard Gold certified, and is half the price. The dual-stage is a plus since we don't want to buy a separate toddler mattress. Might go with Sealy and use a good waterproof protector.

User experience with firmness and off-gassing
We got the Sealy Cozy Cool. It is definitely firm on the infant side, almost like a board, but that's safe for newborns. After a month, my 7-month-old doesn't seem to mind. The toddler side has some give with the gel foam. Only complaint is it smelled a bit chemically when first unwrapped; we let it air out in the nursery for 4 days.

Sealy praised for certifications and value over Graco
We just bought the Sealy Cozy Cool 2-Stage for our upcoming arrival. Chose it over the Graco foam mattress because of the certifications (Greenguard Gold, CertiPUR-US) and the fact that it has coils, which should hold up longer. Price was reasonable at Target. I feel good knowing it's low emission and made in the USA.
