Chicco KidFit Zip Plus 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat (Seascape/Blue)

My daughter love the Belt-Positioning Booster and she feels comfortable.

My car seat got lost in the mail, and I called in and they looked it up saw that it was lost somewhere, and immediately sent me another car seat. If I need another car seat I will be using Chicco for sure.

Purchased this seat for my five year old son and was so excited to receive it. My son was thrilled to have a brand new “fancy” seat as he’s been in the same convertible car seat since he was less than a year old. He sat in it for the first time only for us to realize he is too tall for the high back option and now he is using just the booster portion. I love how to LATCH system works, the color, the material, the shoulder strap piece, etc., but I do not like that the back piece isn’t adjustable. He is completely unable to use the back, I do not feel he is as safe in just a booster, he can’t buckle himself now, and I feel like the money is wasted. Also, I received a 20% off coupon for signing up for Chicco emails and certain seat were marked for free shipping. This was one of them. After adding the coupon code, shipping was added back on at almost $20 so I ended up only saving $5. That brought the seat back up to $154 😡 if I had to do it over, I would not have purchased this car seat.

Super comfortable for my 7 year old and easy to install. Will probably emdup getting another for our 2nd car.

I have never enjoyed taking a car seat out or installing one like this one. One word- simple & quick. Very comfy material, cute colors, double cup holders are a must and the ability to quickly wash is handy. The only thing I dislike about this car seat is the flexibility. We’ve used Chico Harness to Booster seats before and I felt like my child was a bit more secure. Granted once he starts using a seat belt alone he’ll have similar range of movement like this seat, but hard for me to get used to. My kid loves it, I love the guides for belt path, and my youngest needed his old seat so I’m learning to adapt.

Love this booster seat. Comfy and easy to install. However, I wish there was something that makes securing the seat belt easier. The seat belt is difficult to pull across. Also, the snack tray is awesome, but constantly falls out of the cup holder. It should click in more securely. But other than that, I'm happier with this than my Maxi Cosi 3in1.

Per my daughter, this booster was easy to install and took very little time to get it in the car. It fit her 6 year old comfortably and securely. A good buy.

Easy to assemble/install. Our taller 5 yo talks about it being comfortable and that he loves his new seat. The best part is that he can easily buckle himself so this helps tremendously with carline procedure at school.

not as easy as you would think to put together. seems sturdy. what i don't like is it was made in 2022 and state's only use till 2030. if they are only supposed to be used for 8 years then we should only get one made the year we bought it. automatically we have lost 2 years of use!!!

Super disappointed. Definitely returning. No matter how hard I tighten the latch system, it would not tighten enough. The seat was super wobbly, and there is no top tether to secure the seat.

This is our third Chicco seat, and we continue to be very happy with the sturdy construction and quality of the seats. This booster seat was very easy to put together and install in our vehicle. Our son loves that he is able to get into the seat and buckle his seatbelt by himself. He also loves the "secret" compartment to hold his trinkets.

We switched to this from the MyFit because the MyFit was hard to buckle in booster mode. This seat is everything we were looking for.

My son really enjoys his official big kid car seat. He’s excited about buckling himself with the grownup seatbelt & having more freedom. I’m excited for him. It s an upgrade from his Nextfit Zip.

Lifelong fan of Chicco. We had the convertable zip carseat for years, and have a backless booster as well. Got this four last and it's awesome. The installation is so easy, and even easier to remove. They have done a great job with the latch design. My child loves it.

Safety for granddaughters when riding in my car and there comfort. My granddaughters only wish is that it could come in pink! They love the comfortable ride and can still sleep in the car and they can hide things in the storage cup or put their tablets on the storage cup and watch cartoons. It is easy to clean! Good money spent for safety!

Absolutely love this car seat. My children love how they have the ability to buckle themselves, have cup holders, and a snack/iPad holder. It's the perfect fit. My 2nd couldn't wait to get this car seat as their older sibling just loved it so now I have two happy riders! Also, Chicco is our choice of brands.

We have a big 4 year old that has outgrown his harness chair and it was time for a booster. We wanted one with the back as we do plenty of road trips and wanted him to be comfy. In short, he loves it! We've been on some multi hour trips already and he's happy and no complaints of discomfort. He sleeps like a rock in it as well. We have the seat in a Golf GTI so the rear seats are a bit reclined as is. This seat hold him nicely and his head doesn't flop forward while sleeping. Overall, we're all very happy with the seat and we'll be using it for years to come.

Our granddaughter loves her new booster seat. So much easier to get in and out. The small 'console' compartment is perfect for small toys or a bag of curly fries. We love it!

Great seat

When my son turned 5, we knew we have to graduate out of the Chicco NextFit Zip. When the new KidFit Zip Plus arrived, I was impressed by how easy it was to put together and install. The latch connectors are super easy. I had to re-install and unhooking the latches from the car hooks was a breeze. No more push buttons making it hard on the fingers. I know if we have to put the carseat in grandma's car, it will be easy. Honestly, this is my favorite feature. For my son, his favorite feature is the snack tray/console. He puts snacks, legos, happy meal toys, etc all in the box which keeps my car free of lose snacks and toys. The quilted seat give a taste of luxury in this affordable booster seat. While it's brand new, I did attempt to unzip the cushions just to test for in the future. it was really easy to undo. I did not fully take off the seat covers but I know it will also be easy. I did have to adjust the headrest and that was also quick an easy to do. I love the orange color indicators which quickly point out how to use/adjust the features. We are looking forward to many years in this booster seat. I received this as a gift for my honest review. This is 100% Mom and Kid Approved.

We have had this KidFit booster car seat for about 2 years now. It fits nicely in my husband's truck (we have the bigger Chicco booster with 5 point harness in my SUV). I chose this booster because I wanted something that was not so bulky but still offered the protection and quality of our larger Chicco booster, and this fits the bill! It installs with minimal effort, and can easily be switched from vehicle to vehicle with NO hassle. Our not so little guy is prone to acid reflux and will sometimes vomit with zero warning. We have had to throw away other car seats because of this, since not all car seats or boosters are able to be dissembled. However, we had our first incident with this booster over a year ago, and I was able to totally take it apart, wash and disinfect it, then put everything back together good as new. The only con is that this sits straight up (although I suppose it could recline if the seat was reclined??) in the backseat of the truck, which makes sleeping difficult, though not impossible for a tired 6 year old!

My new KidFit Booster seat has been a great transition from our convertible car seat. If fits great in our car with the adjustable backrest and it was super easy to install using the SuperCinch tightener system. I feel comfortable knowing that I still have side impact protection for my son and the addition of cup holders are great for long car rides. So far we’re very pleased with this seat and it’s great that with the removable backrest it should be the last seat my son ever needs. We got this for our 5 year old who was ready to transition from a 5pt harness. The padding is great and the ability to unzip it and clean the cover is AWESOME with slimy (and sick) kids. He loves the little container that attaches where he can put his Matchbox cars. I love how the height of the seat adjusts easily and can be latched and unlatched within seconds. This high back booster has some great features! My 4 1/2 year old has enjoyed the comfort of this seat. The padding is able to be zipped off and washed, which is great for all those "sticky" and unwanted snack stains! The installation is easy, as it provides easy quick release latches. Having the belt slots allows the seat belt to correctly position across the child. Another extra feature that my child especially enjoys is the double cup holders. A "snack compartment" can also insert into one of the cup holders. Overall, I would recommend this product if you are looking to transition to a high back booster. This booster is another great product in the Chicco line of boosters. My 5 year old loves the comfort of the seat as well as the ease in which she can buckle herself due to the belt guides. I really like the quick-release LATCH connectors which make it super easy to tighten the seat into place and keep it there but also remove it out of the car to transfer to my husband's car. The zippers on the fabric plus the removable arm rest covers make is simple to clean. Chicco way to go again!

This is a great high back booster for my 4.5 year old son. I like the padded fabric which makes it more comfortable and snug for the child. The zipper off removable fabric is definitely a great feature with on the go kiddos that snack in the car! We also love the colors of this seat as teal is our favorite color! The adjustable head rest is nice to accommodate a growing toddler. We love our Chicco products and this one didn't disappoint either! This is the best booster seat ever. Such high quality materials!! Kids are dirty little humans and i love that the fabric zips right off and i can throw it in the wash, or pop the cup holders off to wash them. It makes cleaning up spilled slushy a breeze. If only the rest of my minivan had a similar design. ;) Chicco fan for life now!

I couldn't be more thrilled with our new booster. The colors and sleek design make it easy to fit in my minivan. I really like the padded fabric. The fact that it zippers to come off is definitely a plus to help keep it clean. The flexible removable cup holders are such a great addition. I also really like the adjustable head rest. It can definitely accommodate my growing toddler. The seat belt positioners are also a great function to help ensure the seat belt fits securely and safely across my child. I found it a huge advantage that the booster has a latch system that attaches to the seat. This is helpful in an accident so the booster does not go flying.
