We had the Panasonic KX-HN4101W with our first and loved it. The battery life is incredible and the range is great. We could be out in the garage or basement and still get a clear signal. Panasonic vs Competitors and Expansion Options
I compared Eufy, Infant Optics and Panasonic and ended up with the Panasonic KX-HN4101W. It was the easiest to set up, the parent unit has a good battery life and it's expandable up to 4 cameras which is great if we have another child. The non-wifi aspect is a big plus for us. My only complaint is that the signal can get weak if I go to the far end of the house with multiple walls in between, but that's rare.

Dedicated Monitor vs Phone App Preference
I didn't want to use my phone because I like having a dedicated screen that I can just glance at, especially at night. The Panasonic is perfect for that. It's not a smart monitor so you can't check from work, but that was never a feature I wanted. Better safe than sorry with security.
