I am currently using this between the stair banister and wall to keep my pups separated. It was very easy to install ( I am an instruction reader) I was worried about my pups trying to jump it or even ram it but I have had no issues

Should have read the box before putting together but I\'m one of the ones that "doesn\'t need instructions" at least it all worked out in the end and fit perfectly

Purchased to keep my pooch to the back of our home when needed and this gate fits perfectly. We have an odd sized opening and we were having a hard time finding the right size. I Love the height of this gate. Huge plus too is when you walk through the gate door, it is wide! No hitting your thighs or feet when walking though. The ability to swing the gate door either way is wonderful as will. Highly recommend.

When you first put it together it looks off kilter. You have to tighten the wall braces in order to level the gate and bring it together. I would have not known this unless my groomer told me. She had put hers together and found this out by trial and error. Once it is together it is great. It is tall enough to keep my two cats in and my puppy. It is just the ticket when I need to carry things in or out of the house and not lose the animals in the process.

I use this 36 inch high gate to control access to a staircase for a dementia patient and it works very well. Well made and firmly holds its position with friction only. Multiple extensions are provided and fit very well.

I like everything about this gate. I have one like it, from a different company, but it’s very difficult to open, withe two hands. This one is super easy to open with one hand. It’s also taller and I believe safer to keep toddlers from trying to get a leg on top and climbing over. Same with keeping pets from climbing over.

This gate is built very well, expandable, easy to install and is tall. This keeps our Husky out of the kitchen. It’s a strong gate. She can climb on top of the gate and it does not budge. The locks work very well. It’s a slide on top and a squeeze lever on the bottom to open, so it’s very safe to keep the kids out. Very good purchase!

I got these baby gates to keep my puppy out of certain rooms. The gates come very well packaged, and they quickly arrived. They were easy to install and don't need to screw into the door frame. The gate swings either in or out and is easy to latch. It will automatically close behind you so that you don't need to hold and close it. But, it can be a little loud when doing so. If you want a quiet close, then you need to manually close it. It is quality construction. My puppy can jump up onto the gate, and it stays in place as expected. I highly recommend it.

Holds up to our 3 big dogs

For anyone else it would have been ok but it was harder for me alone as I needed the whole 48 inches. It is sturdy and heavy and although I did it an extra pair of hands would have made it easier for me(a woman). It is up and strong and looks great! So far dogs haven't tried to rush it.......Fast Shipping!!!!!!!!!............VERY VERY PLEASED!

This was easy to install and very sturdy. I’m very pleased.

My dog likes to have her eyes on me - this gate allows me to let her into the laundry area of the garage and access to the fenced side yard without escaping through the opened garage doors when I'm working in there. The gate also allows me to easily carry my groceries from the car into the kitchen.

The only problem we had with installing the gate was that the strap that held the gate to the frame was broken already when the gate arrived. We used a rachet strap to pull the gate in, and were able to install the gate with no problems.

Tall and easy to assemble

Great quality, easy to install. The easy open gate and auto close is just perfect.

We bought this to contain a German Shepherd puppy in a room. The door swings both ways so it is easy to exit/enter. We have had it for 6 weeks. He is now 50 pounds and still hasn't been able to push it out of the doorframe. It is metal so when the pup tries to chew on the bars, it is still intact.

I love the easy to use handle. The gate can be opened either direction and closes/latches on its own.

It’s the best Iv seen even and tall too. Love the self close and it will hold open too. Love that the top and bottom latches also. Way worth the money.

It offers few options for different scenarios: you get few pieces that you can add to get the width you need. Sturdy, simple to install, self latching, and not yet figured out by my baby.

I am not using this for children so I can’t speak on how that would go. I’m using this to introduce a new cat to my other pets. I set this up last night and was surprised at how solid it seems. I went with the pressure mount option. It took me 10 / 15 minutes to install. The gate is spring loaded, which I wasn’t expecting, almost squished a cat but all is ok. It really hugs the door jam! I shook it and it didn’t budge. I’m 5’5” and it comes to just below the belly button, hoping kitty can’t climb. So far so good. I would recommend (for pets at least). Side note- it says to not have it sitting on the ground directly. I couldn’t figure out how to not have it directly on the ground and it seems perfectly fine and safe.

As an elder couple with bending problems, the height of the gate is perfect. Installation was easy and the gate and open mechanism work just as desired. Would highly recommend this gate.

Ordered for front porch to keep the dogs off porch. Works great. I love how it automatically shuts with a little push. It's tall enough that the big dogs don't try to get over it.

I loved this gate, because I am plus sized and the extra width allows me to walk straight thru, the height measured my current porch railing height, very study, my dogs can hang out with me on the porch, and the neighbors dogs cannot lay on my porch now. Winner winner chicken dinner! Love this gate!

Very tall and easy to build

We needed a gate to keep our new dog from going up to the second floor. This was just the trick. She has learned the gate is there and does not go up the stairs any more. It was easy to put the extender pieces in and install. It has a nice weight to it and does not feel flimsy. Worth the money paid in quality and usefullness.

Best investment yet ! I have a small home so when people come over they are bombarded by the dogs. This gate is a great way for my dogs to see who’s coming in and also give them a chance to calm down ! I installed it myself using the tension method took 5 minutes!

Nothing to dislike. Design is phenomenal in its strength, ease of installation, and appearance. The sturdiness hasn’t been truly challenged by my 60lb bull terrier. If she really wanted to she could jump over it but I don’t think she could open it, move it or damage it.

This gate is perfect. I adopted a rescue beagle and this allowed my 14 year old kitty to get to know him safely.But I moved and am unable to reinstall because of the “don’t cut this strap until it’s done” instructions. What do you do to reuse and reinstall?

I thought this gate was a bit expensive but it’s pretty sturdy. I bought it to keep my one-year-old dog from going upstairs during the day. She’s about 50 lbs. and it withstands her jumping on it. I was worried about her being able to open the clasp - she can open her crate if she wants to - but there is no way she can open this gate. I have also gotten compliments on how “nice” it is for a baby gate. It stays open if you push it back far enough, and closes behind you if you don’t. It was a bit of a pain to put together, but that may just have been because my wall isn’t perfectly straight.

First, please excuse the mess. I turned my den into my dogs room, and put two of these gates together. I have 5 dogs, from 34lbs to 87lbs, so no little ones. First time gone all day and gate standing and sturdy.I love the color. Makes it more stylish than normal white (hence gate in the back).
