We got the Dream on Me Nap Nest. It fits perfectly in the crib, no gaps. It’s firm but my baby sleeps fine on it. The waterproof cover is easy to wipe down. I feel better about it than a used mattress. For the price, it’s worth it. We didn't want to spend $200 on a mattress. This one had Greenguard Gold and is made in the USA.

Recommendation for Dream On Me Edgewood mattress in twin nursery
We have the Dream on Me Edgewood for our twins and it’s great for the price. I assume the Nap Nest is similar. Greenguard Gold and made in USA was a big selling point. It’s firm enough for newborns, which is important for safety. We’ve had them for over a year and they’ve held up well.

Mini crib recommendations and mattress firmness
I don’t have the Nap Nest specifically but we have a Dream on Me mini crib and mattress and they’re fine. The mattress is firm, the baby sleeps fine. So yes to the brand as an affordable non‑toxic option. If budget is a concern, just get a mattress with Greenguard certification and you’re good.

Budget non‑toxic mini crib and mattress options
I was looking for affordable Greenguard Gold options too. I got the Dream on Me crib and mattress off Amazon. Our mattress is the Rest EZ, not the Nap Nest, but it’s been great. Firm, no smell after a day, and the waterproof cover is a must. Much cheaper than Naturepedic but still certified.
