We have the Graco 3 in 1 and the rotating feature is definitely nice, but I view it as more of an accessibility feature. Definitely not a requirement for the average person. Make sure if you get a rotating seat it is locked into place when driving! The recline may be too upright for small babies without the body pillow.

We first had the Graco Turn2Me Extend. I like that it can be rear facing up to 40lb and the ability to turn it to get baby in and out has really helped my back. Downside is that its pretty big and heavy, but I don't tend to move it anywhere.
