There's apparently different models. The Graco extend to fit, 3in1 has rollers for the straps so the straps pull easily. I also got the premium version (it was on sale) comes with automatic ratchet thing versus having to pull on a strap to tighten the car seat base.

We have a Graco extend2fit 3-in-1 that rf's to 50lbs, and I love it. For me, it's easier to install than the regular extend2fit, but it is pricier. It fits well in my small backseat, too.. that's actually the reason I went with it instead of a 360.

3-in-1 is a one-and-done seat and more compact
I went with the 3 in 1 because this is the last car seat I’ll ever have to buy her, if I went with the regular 2 in 1 I was gonna have to buy a booster down the road. Also I heard it is more compact and will fit in more vehicles. We are very happy with our purchase so far.
