Quick and easy
Couldn’t believe how simple the process was.
Reddit Insights
6 threads · r/BabyBumpsCanada, r/BabyBumps, r/beyondthebump, r/pregnantParents appreciate the Graco Modes Nest for its versatility and value, but have mixed feelings about the fold, weight, and certain included features.
Overall sentiment is slightly positive, with many users recommending the stroller for its bassinet mode, height adjustment, and affordability. However, complaints about the bulky fold, heavy weight, and misleading 'bassinet' feature (especially on the Premier) bring the score down.

Watch Out For
Community Q&A
- Is the bassinet included, or do I need to buy it separately?
- The standard Nest has a pramette where the toddler seat converts to a bassinet. The Premier Nest includes a SnugRide car seat, but its bassinet carrycot is sold separately.
- How does it handle on gravel, grass, or cobblestone?
- It's best on smooth surfaces; the wheels are plastic and small, so bumpy terrain and long walks can be difficult.
- Is it easy to fold and lift into a car?
- Folding requires two hands and is awkward for some. It's heavy and bulky when folded, especially for smaller cars.
Compared To
vs Uppababy Vista
Uppababy is considered superior in quality and push but significantly more expensive. Graco Nest is a budget-friendly alternative.
vs Evenflo Pivot
Compared for similar bassinet features; evenflo sometimes preferred for being lighter.
vs Graco Modes (DLX, Element, Pramette)
Nest is recommended over Element for add-on child seat option; Pramette is similar but lacks Slide2Me height adjustment.

Graco Nest great for daily use but bumpy ride on rough terrain
Overall I love it. I use it daily, walks around the neighborhood, city, etc. It pushes nice on pavement. It's a bumpy ride on gravel/grass trails though. Curb jumping is difficult. The fold is the worst part. Not very compact. I do not recommend it if you have a small sedan trunk.

User loves Slide2Me and bassinet but notes bulk and fold difficulty
I have the modes nest travel system and I LOVE it. I love how I can bring baby up higher, the reversible seat, the huge basket. I use the bassinet mode often. Folding takes two hands and is a bit tricky. It is heavy (27lbs). Took it on a plane and it survived but it is large when folded.

Graco Nest is a budget-friendly alternative to Uppababy, but not as smooth
I got the Graco Nest system, and it works just fine. Uppababy is nicer but the price difference is huge. The Graco isn't as smooth or pretty, but it does the job for walks around the block and shopping.

Bassinet conversion not a true bassinet; stroller is clunky to fold
The bassinet function is basically the regular seat flattened out, not an actual bassinet. For the price, it's okay. It's heavy and the fold is clunky. Pros: the storage basket is huge, and the slide feature is nice.

Strong value but car seat lacks head support; bassinet great for newborns
The Graco Nest travel system has been great. I love the bassinet mode; baby slept so well in it. The car seat it comes with has minimal head support which is concerning. But the stroller features are amazing for the price. It is bulky folded, but fine for our SUV.

Worth the price for Slide2Me and huge basket, but not bassinet included in Premier
I have the premier modes nest midtown. Had to buy the carrycot separately which is annoying. But I love the stroller. The Slide2Me and big basket are great. The vegan leather handle is a nice touch. I use it daily.
