She's now 4mo and not very interested in kicking or hitting it, as she prefers grabbing and gumming things. But that said, we still use the play gym and she likes the music and lights on the piano (good as a distraction when she's ratty, especially if we cover the gym with a muslin so the lights reflect around her). We're hoping she plays with it more again when she can sit up, since she'll be able to sit at the piano and hit it.

    We had both. (One was hand me down, one gift). Honestly you can find 10000 of these at once upon a child for like 10 bucks in Canada. I would get two and switch them up for the sake of getting a break from hearing the same songs. But if you’re only getting one.. the baby Einstein was better when she was a new born and was also laying on her back, and it’s a lot bigger. The kick and play songs are better.
