Dream on Me Baby Skylar Bassinet & Bedside Sleeper (Mint)
The Dream on Me Baby Skylar is a JPMA-certified bassinet and bedside sleeper that keeps your newborn close for safe co-sleeping. It offers five adjustable heights from 26.5 to 30.5 inches, tool-free assembly, and mesh sides for breathability. Note: The included mattress pad is 1-inch thick, which some users find thin; the side-lowering mechanism may be less stable than premium models, but overall it provides good value for a budget-friendly bedside sleeper.

Safety concerns about side-lowering mechanism and assembly instructions
I have this bassinet but I don't trust it for overnight sleep. The side that lowers feels flimsy and drops suddenly. The instructions for height adjustment are confusing, and I worry about the gap between the bassinet and my bed.

Affordable alternative to Halo, but assembly issues
I got the Dream On Me Skylar because it's so much cheaper than the Halo. It works fine, but the frame and legs were a pain to snap together. Once up, it's stable enough. For the price, I’m happy.

Mattress is too thin and uncomfortable
We have the Dream On Me one… the mattress it comes with is basically a piece of cardboard wrapped in fabric. Baby wouldn’t sleep on it until we added a thicker mattress topper (yes, I know it’s not recommended).

Questions about safety and height compatibility
I have this exact bassinet and I’m worried about the gap between my bed and the bassinet. The manual says the adult mattress should be less than 24 inches from the floor, but my bed is higher. Some reviews say it’s fine, but I’m not sure if it’s safe.
