Perfect Car seat

Alex

This car seat fit my baby at all stages and is super comfortable! My little one is never fussy when riding even going on vacation with a 9 hour ride!

Very nice, but difficult

KRISTEN C.

I had the hardest time installing this seat. I hope and pray that I never have to do it again or remove it from my vehicle. I love the carseat, but this was my first and hopefully last time having to install it. I struggled for a total of probably 3 hours getting everything securely adjusted.

As a single busy mom

Kerry H.

As a single busy mom this car seat is amazing! My baby is safe and secure!

Best car seat

Kaye B.

Best car seat to install and move around from car to car. Easy to clean when there are messes. Love the slim of the size also especially when cars are small and you need all the extra room possible in a 3rd row.

Love this car seat!

Zada L.

We absolutely love this car seat and so does our son! We decided to upgrade from the shyft dual ride to the 360 slim because our baby was getting really heavy to lift in and out of our truck. It has been a great transition! It's easy to rotate and move up and down on the go, unlike other brands like...

Very Disappointed

Devan K.

Had this car seat for about 2 years and honestly started having issues after about a year. It rattles, became kinda tight space wise for my 3 year old, and she kept getting sweaty even with an air vent pointed right on her. I took it apart the other day to give it a deep clean and there’s mold on th...

The Evenflo Revolve360 Slim is praised for its rotating convenience and high rear-facing limits, but heavily criticized for difficult LATCH installation, bulk, and a flawed headrest design that limits extended rear-facing.

mixed sentiment90% match

While many users love the rotating feature for easing child loading, significant negatives include installation difficulties, bulkiness, and a headrest design that causes early outgrowing, leading to a mixed but slightly negative overall sentiment.

Use Cases

  • Daily loading/unloading of toddlers, especially in tight parking spaces or for parents with back issues
  • Extended rear-facing for children up to 50 lbs and 48 inches
  • Fitting in compact SUVs or smaller cars like BMW i3

Watch Out For

highHeadrest pushes forward when adjusted upward, causing the harness to sit too low and forcing early forward-facing conversion despite high weight limits.
highLATCH connectors and tether buckle are extremely stiff and difficult to loosen, making secure installation nearly impossible in some vehicles.
mediumThe seat is very bulky and may not fit well in compact SUVs or small cars, especially in rear-facing mode.
lowThe seat release key for removing the shell from the base is not attached and can be easily lost.

Community Q&A

Is the Evenflo Revolve360 Slim worth it for the rotating feature?
Many find the rotation convenient, but it's not a game-changer for everyone, and the seat has significant drawbacks like difficult installation and bulky size.
Can the Evenflo Revolve360 Slim fit in small cars like a BMW i3?
Yes, but it's a very tight fit, and front seat passengers may need to be shorter or have the seat far forward.
Does the Evenflo Revolve360 Slim allow extended rear-facing?
Yes, up to 50 lbs and 48 inches, but the headrest design may cause the harness to be outgrown by height much earlier than expected.

Compared To

vs Chicco Fit360

The Chicco Fit360 is often preferred for its easier installation, nicer materials (magnetic chest clip, flame retardant free), and better comfort, though the Evenflo has a higher rear-facing weight limit.

vs Graco Turn2Me

The Graco Turn2Me was used by one family but discarded after a crash; they prefer the Chicco Fit360 over both Evenflo Slim and Graco Turn2Me.

  • Rotating convenience praised but bulk and fit concerns for Evenflo Revolve360 Slim

We use the Evenflo 360 Slim which is somewhat controversial, but we liked it enough to buy a second. They've revamped the turning system to make it more secure when locked. We really like it, but it's not THAT much better than a regular one... They are pretty bulky. We can only fit two carseats in our compact SUV... Extended rear facing is my top priority. (I have the Evenflo 360 Slim for this reason because I also wanted a rotating seat, and I wish I had known how stupidly designed the head piece is. My 3yo is close to outgrowing it by headspace even though she’s only 30lbs.)

  • Evenflo Revolve360 Slim vs Chicco Fit360: preference for Chicco but Evenflo has higher rear-facing limit

We have the evenflo 360 slim in my husband's Tacoma and it is A TIGHT FIT. We decided to try something different for my VW Atlas... so we got the Chicco Fit 360 and I absolutely love it. It feels so much nicer than the Evenflo 360 Slim and has some great little features (the magnetic chest clip and the stay forward crotch buckle are just *chefs kiss*). Also loved that the chicco was flame retardant free. The ONLY thing I like better about the Evenflo 360 is that it has a higher rear facing limit.

  • Evenflo Revolve Slim fits in BMW i3 but very tight, front passenger limited

Just barely fits. Front passenger seat has to be nearly all the way forward, and I’m not super tall (5’5”). It works for us since I’m usually driving and husband is passenger, but anyone taller than me likely won’t fit comfortably.

    r/BMWi3View thread →

  • Serious headrest design flaw limits rear-facing capacity prematurely

The headrest design is awful. The harness height is not independent of the headrest adjustment, so when you raise the headrest, the harness slot moves with it, but the headrest pushes so far forward that it forces the harness to sit below the child's shoulders, which is unsafe for rear-facing. My 2.5 year old has already outgrown it rear-facing because of this, despite being well under the weight and height limits.

  • Evenflo rotating seat loved for convenience but installation and LATCH issues noted

I have the Evenflo 360 slim. Turning is a GAME changer. We love ours... It goes up thru booster and im RELIEVED to not be buying more baby gear hahah! It’s great... I have the Chicco revolve 360 and my husband has the evenflo slim 360. We also had the Graco turn2me but had to throw it out after a car accident... I like my chicco the best out of the 3 we’ve had.

  • Concern about seat movement even when locked, possibly defective unit

I just installed the Evenflo 360 Revolve Extend and even with the lock engaged, the seat still moves side to side quite a bit. I’ve reinstalled multiple times and it’s as tight as I can get it, but the rotation seems to have play. Anyone else experience this?
