The Delta Twinkle Galaxy is about half the price and still GREENGUARD Gold but my concern is that it's less breathable. Our kid is a tummy sleeper so I worry about rebreathing. Honestly, if you're on a budget, the Delta is probably fine—firm enough and safe.

Fitting a Delta mini crib mattress in a Delta Lee mini crib
I have the Delta Lee mini crib and the Delta Twinkle Stars mini crib mattress (not Galaxy but similar) fits perfectly—snug, no gaps. It's a 4-inch mattress, very lightweight, and cheap. The only thing is it's not super cushy, which is actually what you want for an infant. I'd say go for it.

Durability concerns and sizing note for Delta mini crib mattress
We got the Delta Twinkle Galaxy mini mattress for our Nestig mini crib. It fit fine initially but after about 6 months it started to sag in the middle a bit. Baby is only 18 lbs! Also, the waterproof cover is nice but makes crinkly sounds. I probably wouldn't buy it again—maybe spend a little more for a better one.

Recommendation for Delta mini crib mattress as budget-safe option
For mini cribs, I highly recommend the Delta Children Twinkle Galaxy mini mattress. It's only 4 inches thick but firm, GREENGUARD Gold certified, and fits our Davinci mini crib like a glove. Way cheaper than Newton and seems just as safe. Only con is that it's not double-sided for toddler stage, but we'll probably transition to a twin bed by then.
