Reddit Insights
5 threads · r/Mommit, r/BabyBumpsCanada, r/toddlers, r/InfluensterReddit parents generally see the Baby Trend Expedition 2-in-1 as a budget-friendly, functional stroller wagon for two young kids, but it has notable drawbacks in bulk, sun coverage, and maneuverability compared to premium brands.
The wagon receives praise for its affordability and feature set, but recurring complaints about size when folded, heavy push, canopy coverage, and lack of footwell lead to a mixed overall sentiment.

Community Q&A

- It folds flat but is larger than many competitors; some users struggle to fit it in smaller trunks.

- 110 lbs total, 50 lbs per seat.
- Can you use it as a double stroller replacement?
- Yes, it works well for two children, but it's not a true jogger and can be cumbersome indoors.
Compared To
vs Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is often considered a better investment due to easier push, better canopy, and a footwell, though it costs more.
vs Jeep Wrangler stroller wagon
The Expedition scores about even with the Jeep in maneuverability and price, but Jeep may have slight advantages in some areas.
vs Graco Modes wagon
Graco Modes is slightly more expensive but offers a footwell and two sun covers, making it better for kids who eat in the wagon.

Opinions on Baby Trend Expedition stroller wagon
We have the baby trend expedition stroller wagon (~$220) and our toddlers LOVE it. They both can sit without buckles, can see everything and can get in and out on their own without struggling. It also folds nicely into our trunk with lots of extra space (RAV4 XLE). It’s kinda bulky in small stores and such but it’s been worth it overall. ... The graco modes is slightly more expensive then the baby trend but has a footwell (better for kids who eat in the wagon, so they aren’t sitting in crumbs or sand/dirt/debris) and graco has 2 sun covers so depending on who’s sitting where everyone or either one has sun/rain/wind coverage.

Stroller wagon recommendations for Canada
Evenflo pivot xplore all the way. ... I know it’s not a wagon but a friend just got the veer switchback and roll and she loves it! ... do you have space for a stroller wagon? we have the baby trend wagon. it folds perfectly into the back of our rav4 and is amazing for trips to the zoo, park etc.

Please help me choose a stroller wagon
Skip the baby trend. It’s affordable but I’ve only read negative things about it being hard to push, canopy doesn’t cover enough, and kids are cramped without a footwell. The evenflo pivot explore is the best for the price, just doesn’t have a snack tray. The veer is too expensive. ... We got the baby trend and I honestly wish I had just gotten the Evenflo instead. The baby trend really does lack in those areas but I just couldn’t justify paying $200 more at the time.

Thoughts on Baby Trend wagon from Influenster
I got the baby trend wagon from influenster a few months ago and it’s been really nice. We use it a lot for short walks and when we go to downtown Disney. My 2 year old and 4 year old fit well. My 2 year old usually naps in it. It’s easy to push and pull. ... but I think if you’re looking for something heavy duty for daily long walks or jogging, then this wouldn’t be it, but it’s great for us for now. ... I’m a little disappointed with how much sun gets in even with the canopy up.

Do people dislike their stroller wagons?
We have the baby trend and i honestly love it. It’s our second stroller wagon (first was a cheap one from walmart that sucked) and this one has been great, especially for the price. The handling is a little tough on gravel but manageable on paved paths. It’s not the smallest fold but fits in our suv with the third row down. I love that i can push it like a stroller if i want.
