Recommendation for North States Superyard as flexible baby gate solution
We have the North States super yard [superyard] and it’s incredible as a gate. You can configure it as a free standing gate, skip the hardware. It works great for awkward openings like ours. We have ours blocked off in a U shape and we put our Christmas tree behind it. It’s sturdy and my son hangs on it and shakes it and it doesn’t budge. I think at one point we had it blocking off our tv and tv stand. You can configure it in a ton of different ways.
