New SlumberPod The Original Blackout Sleep Tent Travel Essential for Babies and Toddlers (Black/Grey 3.0)

The slumberpod saved us when we went to Florida for a trip. Our son went to sleep like normal and slept the entire night! I would recommend this for anyone.

An absolute game changer when traveling with a little! I fought my wife on this one and wish I hadn’t, I had no clue how helpful it would truly be.

This is the 2nd SlumberPod that I have purchased,. My daughter has used hers with my 2 yr od grandaughter and everyone gets to sleep whether its in the same room with us or in a hotel. She thinks its fun,too. My second purchase was for my nephew's new baby as they have two under two!

This pod is amazing! Great device for travel and home. Their customer service is amazing and the product speaks for itself!

The pod itself is great, however the fan is useless and definitely not worth the price. A much stronger fan is needed for cooling and air circulation.

I got this for my grandson and it worked better than expected - a great add to a pack&play for vacation.

Loved it! We just used it for the first time on a trip and it worked perfectly! The camera fit perfect in the slot for it. We had to share a room on the trip and it really allowed for him to get sleep while we were able to still be up!

The slumber pod is a life saver when traveling! Our 8 month old sleeps through the night every time we are on the road. The slumber pod blacks out everything even if you have bright lights shining in a room. 10/10 recommend!

I was hesitant about ordering this before our trip, but it ended up being the BEST BABY purchase. It gave my toddler her own "room" during our trip. She slept perfectly every single night. Out of all of my purchases since having my 2 babies, this is the best one.

This review is for their customer service. My order came with damage to one of the zippers. I contacted Slumberpod and they got back to me the next day and were very helpful! We love the slumberpod, we had one passed down to us but was pretty worn out through use and decided to purchase our own. My toddler loves it. Game changer.

I was skeptical but this is awesome! Such a lifesaver when staying in a hotel. The fabric is breathable and I really appreciate the insert for the fan and the camera!

This SlumberPod is awesome! It blocks out all the light even when it’s in a very bright room and there are vents at the top and bottom to keep things cool. Also, one of the poles that came with my SlumberPod bent while I was assembling it and I contacted customer services and they sent two new poles at no additional charge, and that whole process with customer service was very easy.

We love our slumber pods sooo much! We had to buy a second one for our new baby to have, because we still use one for our 2 year old when he needs to sleep in a pack n play. They are the best for travel, naps at grandparents’ houses, or even just giving them their own “space” in our primary bedroom. We recommend the Slumber Pod to anyone having a baby, one of our top baby products!!

Very well designed and high quality. The magnetic assembly is easy and the tent material is fantástic. We tried it out in our living room and it works great for nap time. Excited to take this on our big trip this summer.

My niece tells me that the first nap her four month old son took in his SlumberPod I sent them was the first 3 hour nap he had taken in his life! She liked that it has the fan, and the pockets for the baby monitor. Her toddler daughter also took a 3 hour nap in her crib, because she was not woken up by her brother. They both woke up in good spirits, whereas they would normally wake up cranky. So happy for the whole family.

10/10!! I have an OG one that didn’t come with fan and now the new one! They’re both great but love the upgrades of the new one! They’ve truly thought of everything. A fan and a compartment for it. Spots that open up for ventilation, places to put a camera on the top, etc. I really am obsessed. We still use for our toddler and now have one for our baby, too!

I never write reviews but this worked so well for us I wanted to share my review with others! My baby is 5 months and has to have “perfect sleep conditions” to go to sleep and the slumber pod helped with this so much while we were out of town! I also have a 6 year old, so the pod helped keep it dark for my baby while he napped and we were able to have the lights on in our hotel room. The fan worked great, keeping him cool while it was zipped up and there is also a pocket at the top for his camera so we could see him perfectly! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ highly recommend!

The SlumberPod is the greatest invention for babies and toddlers! We do not travel without it! It is lightweight and portable. Our son is able to sleep when we are in the same room or in a room without curtains.

This was perfect for our camping trip! Breathable, better blackout than our curtains in the nursery, and she slept like a baby! Will be taking on vacation with us later this year as well. My only wish is that the fan was battery powered, I didn't realize until I got it that it needs to be plugged in. Ended up using battery powered fan from Amazon.

We’ve only used it once so far, but it was a game changer for travel. We shared a loft of a cabin with our little one and were able to freely come and go without waking him up. Kept him asleep all night. Literally was like being at home.

Invaluable!! We bought 2 of these to use for a week long trip with our 8 month old and a 2 year old. I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend money on 2 of them but LET ME TELL YOU oh it was worth every penny. We all shared a hotel room and a rental home and they saved my sanity. If you’re contemplating it, do it. Will use them every time we travel!

The SlumberPod is appropriately hyped-- it is an absolute GAME CHANGER for traveling! After using the SlumberPod for the first time I knew we would be using it forever. It is so much more convenient and effective than putting up black trash bags every time we travel. It fits perfectly over our Newton and Guava family travel cribs and is easy to pack. I love the bird's eye view it gives our monitor and being able to room share and have the lights on while packing or getting ready for bed is a luxury I didn't know existed! I will say I think the fan is a must have if you get the SlumberPod, especially if you're ever going to travel somewhere warm. We use it all year long and it adds so much airflow inside to keep baby more comfortable. Could not recommend more!

This is such a saving grace traveling with 2 littles. My kids are great sleepers and it’s important that great sleep continues even while on the road. And most of the time even with the shades pulled in the room, there is still light that sneaks in & this is the perfect way to ensure my kids can get to sleep without an issue. Can’t begin to express how much we’ve used this and love it!!

This is seriously such a game changer. We brought it with us on our two week vacation to Hawaii and it was so useful to have for my little ones age 6 & 9 months old. Easy set up and take down.

We’ve been loving our SlumberPod! My baby is eight months old, and naps have been hit or miss lately, especially when we’re away from home. We spend a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and the SlumberPod has been a total game changer for naps there. It sets up in just a couple of minutes, fits right over his pack ’n play, and completely blocks out the light from their bright playroom. I also love that it comes with a fan for ventilation and folds up compactly for travel, we’ll definitely be bringing it along on trips. Highly recommend to any parent who needs a portable, cozy sleep space for their baby!

We have had our slumber pod for about 5 years. It is a literal game changer. We have been very hard on it and there are many times that I thought it would be torn for sure but it has held up to everything! My babies can all sleep in the same room and it’s so much easier on us! They don’t get distracted by each other and it keeps it dark for my baby no matter where we go!

We absolutely LOVE our Slumberpod!! We have traveled to Indiana, NY, Portugal, and Hawaii with our one year old and it was all made possible with our Slumberpod. He gets GREAT naps and a great night sleep. Customer service is awesome, too. Our fan broke and one was sent to us overnight just in time to come along to Hawaii with us. We tell all of our friends to register for a Slumberpod when they are making their registry.

This has been awesome for when we are sharing a room with our toddler. All 3 of us have slept so much better once we started using the pod. Love that it has a spot for the monitor and for a fan to help with air circulation. We just had our 2nd son and will be using it with him once he’s older. With the investment!!

My baby slept great with this in our hotel room. It is not the easiest to set up, I wish the tabs on the bottom had a hook or were a little bit deeper so the poles didn’t slip out while setting it up. I also wish the fan was battery powered and not a plug in.

The SlumberPod truly does get blackout black, which is incredible. My only complaint is that it does get quite hot in there. The small pocket at the top fits a tiny fan, but the mesh blocks most of the airflow. The pocket at the bottom for a fan is good, but I find the pod itself is a little bit too small to fit a standard personal fan inside next to a pack n play. Would be great if the pod was about 6 inches longer!

I really like the darkness of the pod, but my daughter still got hot even with the fan. I opened as many of the ventilation drapes that I could without letting in too much light. She still woke up sweating despite us having the air on 65°.

The tent was great! Our 16 month old slept amazing with us in the same room. However, if I had it to do over I would not have bought the version with the fan. The fan is very cheap and doesn’t put out much air.

Best purchase of my parenthood life. My kid was NOT sleeping. We traveled and he slept under this in the pack and play and was out solid 10 hours! It changed something in him. Now he sleeps through the night. It’s been a month and that hasn’t changed.

We tried the slumber pod for the first time at my brothers house where they had one and it helped so much with traveling on the go but I felt that my son woke up a little warm. When we purchased one we bought the one with the fan and it’s made such a big difference for us traveling! He gets a full 12 hours of sleep in the slumber pod while we’re traveling and not home and I’m so thankful!

While I have not used the one I am reviewing we borrowed a friends for a trip and it worked so well it was a requested gift for my daughter. She said they were in and out of the room several times, lights off and on and the younger sibling crying and he never woke.

Currently using our slumberPod with our almost one year old on a vacation in Maui. She’s going to sleep for naps and bedtime without fuss ! This is the best purchase we’ve made for our girls comfort.

Absolutely love the Slumberpod, I wish the fan could be wireless but it helps to keep my toddler cool and comfortable. My husband and I was able to full enjoy our anniversary trip without a worry in the world. Get this!!

The smell of the slumber pod was a combo of chemical and smoke. My au pair thought I got it off eBay from smokers. Concerning at best. We had it up for 5 days and it didn’t go away so we are washing it today. As far as form and function it makes a nice little dark room for the baby. Hoping the smell goes away.

was a bit nervous to put something over my sleeping baby, but the SlumberPod is very well made and the fan and pocket for monitor are a perfect addition! my baby was able to adjust pretty quickly to sleeping in the pod on vacation and helped take the stress out of blacking out windows. Highly recommend! Pretty compact to pack as well

Must-have item to get your baby or toddler sleeping well while traveling (or at home it can come in handy, too!)

SlumberPod with Fan is a game-changer for grandma's house! My grown children love knowing that their little ones will get great sleep at my house in their own dark and private space. Easy to set up and packs away nicely. Highly recommend!

We have had our slumber pod for a couple years and our 2 year old sleeps so much better with it. It did develop some tears over time but slumberpod stood by their product and took care of it. It is a game changer for kids sleep and for parents!

Will never not travel without this again!! Just used our SlumberPod for the first time while on vacation and sharing a room with our 18 month old. He is spoiled with blackout shades at home, so it’s always been a challenge to recreate his environment while on the go. Just one small suggestion for improvement would be to add protective caps to the end of the poles - they can be sharp and a bit of a safety hazard while setting up.

The slumber pod is one of the smartest inventions! It takes so much stress off of when traveling! If you travel it’s a must have!

My little one slept ok but woke up with an allergic reaction on his face. He is not prone to allergies at all.

If you can avoid these folks, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The only reason I kept dealing with them is I was buying stuff for people who asked for a particular product of theirs. They canceled my first order and didn't tell me why. They canceled my second order and told me that the billing address I gave them was different from the billing address of the credit card I provided. I went to check and of course it was the same address with a slightly different formatting. Even after I explained this to customer service instead of apologizing and restoring my order they told me my address had to be exactly the same and their cancelation was correct. I never had this problem before and I wanted to warn potential other victims to stay away from these folks if you can.

Our 6 month old granddaughter visited us at the beach house. She acclimated to the change of home very quickly thanks to Slumberpod. Our two year old Granddaughter travels extensively with her family and they never leave home without it. It’s her home away from home!! Love it!

The pod itself is great! The fan on the other hand doesnt seem to do much, not sure if it's the strength of the actual fan or the placement areas within the pod. My main complaint is with the pouch for the monitor, it's a thick plastic that you can barely see through with any camera so essentially useless.

It definitely gets very warm in there especially if zipped up. It is quite a lot to pack and so far my toddler just seems more scared. It also doesn’t unzip to the bottom to allow the toddler to get in and out if they have a toddler bed or a pack and play that opens from the bottom which limits use.

We had high hopes for this product Unfortunately the pole broke and the tent fabric ripped on the third day os use on our vacation. Additionally the fan did not circulate air well and the interior got quite warm.

Took it on our daughter's first camping trip and set it up inside our tent (with a fan and night light) and she slept and napped as good as she does at home in her crib.

Bought this for traveling but got the opportunity to use it at home when our AC went out upstairs and I needed to get my daughter set up for sleep asap and last minute. Thankfully this had arrived just the day before (super fast shipping) and it was just what I needed to ensure she slept through the night in a new room. Love it and can’t wait to use it as we travel!

If the cord of the fan can be detached or use general USB-C cord that will be great.

We had bought a slumberpod for my older son. My younger son was very intrigued, so we bought him one too! This tent blacks out all light, is easy to set up/pack up, easy to wash, has spots for the fan and the camera/monitor. It’s been a game changer for us. We slip this over their crib at home, and also use it for travel. Highly recommend!
