New Diono Solana Backless Booster Car Seats (Black, Pack of 2)

Great travel booster seat. I do not think I would use them for the long term, but they worked great as a travel booster for our most recent trip.

Fits great in the back of a 2017 Kia Sportage, with a 11 year old in the middle. Easy for child to buckle seatbelt on their own as well. Win win!

I was very pleased with these booster seats for my grandchildren. They fastened easily in my vehicle and the kids seemed comfortable and happy! Any mess wiped clean with a warm soapy washcloth. I would buy these again if I needed them!

It's cheap, light, and serves the purpose. Good for traveling. The bottom of this seat is very slippery, so it doesn't stay well on the car seat and slides a lot. Next time I will go for Latch models

Love there car seat the only I will have in our car so I got 3 these one for each car had the of the car seat for each car they are the best but you are better to buy the all on car seat in this brand age 0-10 it turn into a booster seat and has cupholders and everything that’s what was in my vehicle and not in the others

This is my second set of these boosters. Both of my daughters (ages 7 and 8) use them, and we keep a pair in my car and another in my husband’s. I’ve always liked Diono as a brand, and these fit really well in the back seats without taking up a ton of space. They’re lightweight, easy to move from car to car (if needed), and the covers are simple to clean. Reliable and exactly what we needed for this stage.

This is for second car. Much nicer than expected, slim profile, easy to install. The shoulder adjuster is great and provides a better fit. Child had to be reminded how to use it the first few times, but now second nature. If you are looking for a good quality booster with cup holder. You found it!

These have been great booster seats. The quality is great and my kids find them to be very comfortable. They are a great price too for the quality that they are.

These fit nicely in big and small cars. Easy to set up. Loved that they came in a box of 2 this way us grandparents didn't have to buy separately.

These seats are perfect for bigger kids who have outgrown the toddler seats. Since they don't strap in (the child uses the normal seat belt), they are easy to move between vehicles.

This booster seat is great for kids — it's comfortable, seems safe, and my child likes it. The design feels sturdy and well-made. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a LATCH system, which would’ve made it feel more secure in the car. Still a solid choice overall, just something to keep in mind! Narrow and allows for the child to secure their own belt.

Easy to use, no latching needed just drop it in your car, when the child sits on it, they get buckled in and you’re good to go! Looks like good quality and sturdy.

These are perfect for my car to drive my 2 granddaughters around. They are old enough for these boosters which have no fasteners to the car, just use the seat belt, which means fast and easy to put in and take out. The girls say they are comfortable in them and the seat belt is at a good spot for their comfort and safety.

Fits my larger 8 year old (85+ lbs) comfortably. I wish they had the LATCH attachments, but for the price point, they are great for heavier kids that still need the booster.

Bought these since they are narrow to fit 3 across in my Acura MDX with a Nuna Pipa lite car seat and Nuna Rava… it’s tight, but fits!

Super easy after dealing with younger-age car seats. Cup-holder pouch is convenient- tight enough to keep a water bottle there, but open enough that kiddo doesn’t struggle to use it.

My 8yo granddaughter loves this booster seat. She was said it was very comfortable the entire 5 hr trip and did not pinch her as other booster seats have done. The cup/drink holders are great but would prefer them to be a little more giving for holding insulated water bottles (Owala 24oz & Stanley specifically).

I love everything about this other than there is no cushioning where your child sits. Hopefully their next production will have some better cushion like their regular car seats have.

Easy to transport from car to car, and utilize in middle seats when there are not latches. Kids say they are comfortable are prefer over other booster seats.

Not ideal for sleeping kids unless you get a neck pillow! I did not like the mesh cup holders not easy accessible!

Very comfy for my son, light weight, easy to remove and reinstall when we need to, deep blue color and has not held any stains in almost 3 months since purchase. Very stable once installed and seat belt attachment works very well! My son loves it cause he has so much more room and can move around when needed.

These are perfect for a kid who can’t yet meet the 5-steps to safely sit without a booster but has maxed out the height limit of most booster seats. My daughter finds them comfy too.

I packed these 2 boosters in my suitcase to meet my wife and 2 girls at the airport. Good to just put on the car’s rear seat and easy to use car seatbelts to buckle in. Comfortable with armrests and 2 cup holders/ toy holders. They have a provision for lower seat anchors.

Excellent travel seats. Covers come off easy for washing. Side pouches are really only good for holding trash and small water bottles, but that seems to be the same with every car seat cupholder.

Great product to use . It took my toddler some time to get use to it but he loves seeing all the cars drive by 🚗 and names each one too ! He can sit comfortably and it’s an easy product to use . I would highly recommend especially for quality and price .

I purchased these booster seats for my seven-year-old daughter and my five-year-old son, for our trip to Florida. We were able to use them on the flight and they were great in the car. It latched pretty well to the car seat the stability of the booster is great. Cleaning it was very easy. It is also portable. It has a beautiful color to it and it performed great I highly recommend this products for you and your family.

Me and her favorite color are pink, and so her mom bought an all black booster seat, but as a nini i had to come through with the all pink, and she loves it! So durable, very easy to clean, small enough to store away when youre done using it.

Installed these in a GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Equinox. The only difficulty is trying to buckle, but that's more of an issue with the cars, because the issue would be present with any booster.

I needed a booster seat for suv that is durable, and the cover comes off so you can wash it. The cup holders are cloth and part of the booster cover.

Wider than I anticipated. I wish there was a placement within the seat for the buckle because at times it is too difficult for the child the get the seatbelt in the buckle since is sometimes kind of hidden.

These are the perfect seats for travel- they are lightweight and easily transportable- my five and seven year old were able to carry them through the airport. We have the diono car seats as well and feel very confident in the safety of the brand, which is an essential.

We bought these nice and sturdy booster seats to have when we are tending and transporting our grandkids. The booster seats were priced great and are so nice to have on hand instead of having to move car seats from one car to another.

For the price I paid, I may keep these but they are not thin enough to fit in the middle seat of a Subaru Ascent between 2 other car seats. It’s a very low profile seat but still quite wide.

Mobile and easy to use. I don't know how comfortable they are, but my son hasn't complained about them. My sons prefer them over the full size ones (I've got one full size for the whole body and this one). I know there are two in this order, but we have one for each vehicle.

We love the ease and convenience of being able to quickly remove the boosters seats, allowing us to switch them between vehicles. We have had them in them in the car for a few months and the children have not had any complaints.

Perfect for the back seat of a BMW 530i

The purple is pretty subtle - but very nice. These are exactly what I expected - relatively thin padding but still comfortable for the kids, no setup required, and packaged well. Can't say this was a particularly exciting purchase for me, but the price and value is great.

No issues with it so far in the few months we've had it so far. They have small cup holders so the kids prefer not to use it as it's a little tricky for them.

It was exactly what I needed for son's step children that were visiting to embark on a road trip. Easy to use, comfortable padding and doesn't add bulk to trunk storage.

These booster seats are great. They have padding making the seat super comfortable. The cup holders on the side are super convenient and they are narrow enough to fit next to each other in the back seat.

When we placed the order, I was a bit worried we’d get an old seat because the model is listed as “2021” on Amazon, but we got a booster seat with a 2024 manufacture date.

Light to carry but still sturdy when in use. Fabric was easy to clean. Son actually prefers this one to his britax at home, says it's more comfortable. Used in the middle seat in a small rental car between siblings and it fit well. Also fit in the overhead bins on the airplane!

My almost 7 year old has no complaints about it. It’s lightweight and easy to travel with. The only thing I don’t like is the cup holder part. My child doesn’t use it since it looks like a drink would fall out of it but we haven’t tested it.

My kids like being able to see out the window and also they are to big for a car seat but still small and need a booster seat for their seat belt to sit right so this is perfect. The price point was a huge bonus.

We are big Dino fans the boosters work great in our mini van but they are too wide for our truck. We had to get slimmer boosters

It's an inch narrower on each side which allows my child to easily buckle up in the Tesla Model 3. Other child seats or booster seats were great but just too wide for the Model 3 and it's really Tesla's fault for having a seat belt clamp that doesn't stick out even a centimeter. It's completely in the seat. So we are so happy to have found this booster seat and now my kid can buckle up himself again.

These work well for my older kids (8yrs and 10yrs). The seat belt buckle receptacle in my Subaru Outback is recessed in the seat and the boosters we had were too wide and made it very hard for my kids to buckle themselves. We switched to these and they are working great. My son loves his. My daughter said the seat felt a little lumpy and the pouch was too tight for her water bottle, but nevertheless, I think they are a good value.

Perfect boosters for grandma’s “taxi”. Light weight, easy to use and store when not in use. There is no latch system so they do not connect to the seat. If there is no bottom holding it in place, it could become a flying missile in an accident so I always have the kids move them to the floor as they get out of my car. When the seat is folded it keeps the boosters from flying around. Little stretch cup holders are awkward for the kids to use but most cars, like mine, have multiple built in cup holders. Kids seem comfy and happy.

This Solana is narrower than the version with the plastic cup holders; it fit in the space between belt and buckle better in our main vehicle. It is also narrow enough to make 3 across a possibility in most vehicles where all 3 seats/riders are narrow. This is the 3rd one of these I have bought--both parents' cars and now replacing an almost expired grandparent one. Our son finds them comfortable. I like that the maximum height is higher for this seat than other low back boosters on the market. A slight disappointment is that this seat on Amazon is already a bit older expiration-wise. Purchased April 2024; manufactured November 2022. For me, it is not an issue--kids are 16, 12, 9 (in the booster) and 1. The 9-year-old will be out of this in a couple of years, and it would not have lasted expiration-wise to pass to our toddler anyway.

My 6 and 8 year old are both in the 100+ percentile for their age in both height and weight. We are just very tall people, and they are not overweight kids. "normal" booster seats were digging into their thighs and hips and were physically painful. I got these per the recommendations of Carseats for the Littles, and I LOVE them. I have a 2018 Explorer Limited and they fit perfectly in the back seat 2nd row. I have leather seats, and they have not dug any pits into my leather either. They're sturdy, easy to clean, and have a little cup holder on the side for their water bottles. GREAT product for such an amazing price!

This was a really good buy for when my 4 year old was ready to switch to a booster seat. I hate cleaning car seats, dealing with adjusting their straps, or swapping them them around when there's an extra kid or when mine is going off in another car. These are light, simple, and cheap, and the two-pack concept gives a lot of flexibility for playdate logistics etc. My daughter was very enthusiastic about using the "real" seatbelt and this hits her chest just right. The one caveat with this design is that it's a very good minimalist concept when it works, but there's also not a lot you can do about it if the angles of your car seatbelt don't align with the booster seat such that the chest is covered. The one way to tweak that is whether the shoulder strap goes over or under the arm rest. I can't really speak to how easily this would be an issue; probably not very easily though.

If you plan to booster until your child 5 Steps, just go ahead and buy this seat so you won't have to buy it later on when they outgrow their other boosters by height. My son outgrew his G and C brand boosters by height, but not weight at 11 yrs, but still didn't 5 step, so we ended up needing to buy this one anyways. Not a bad price if you plan for this to be their main backless booster. Seems like the padding is pretty nice. I'm not sure about the cupholder as my son uses the one built into the car.

Currently on a 2+ week road trip on the west coast and the rental car company charges $10/day to rent one seat. For my 2 kids (5 and 9) that would equate to over $300 in seat rental fees. A quick search here and this highly rated booster was delivered to our starting point in 1 day and for a fraction of what we'd pay in rental fees plus we get to keep them. These are compact, look great, kids say they're comfortable, easy to install (and have shoulder harness adjusters), and were incredibly priced! Over a week into this trip and these are more than serving their purpose and we were going to donate them to a family friend when we were done but may actually take the with us now since they're not that bulky to carry onto a flight. The only thing I'd add here is that these seats are not attached with any latch system. These are strictly boosters that keep the lap and shoulder belts at the right positions for little kids. They are easily worth the price paid.

We have twins and bought a two pack of these boosters to take on a trip. We already love Diono but couldn’t believe how great these were. (Not to mention how affordable they were.) These are light, comfortable, came with a loop for a luggage tag, and are designed to ride on the top of a rolling suitcase/with a strap already included to secure it. They easily fit under the seat on the airplane. Our 7 year olds could quickly get in and out of Uber vehicles/shuttle busses and had no trouble with the seatbelt. We will continue to use their Diono convertible car seats for daily use, but won’t ever consider another brand for car seats. 100% happy with this purchase and highly recommend to anyone traveling.

I have been doing a lot of research because we have baby no. 3 on the way. I drive a 2023 Toyota Rav4. My previous car seats for both my 6 y/o and 3 y/o was the Graco Extend2fit(which I love but not for my tiny car) We switched to the Diono booster and the Diono Radian 3R. I can now say that all 3 will fit. Someone could actually sit in the middle seat now that was not an option before due to how wide our previous car seats were. I highly recommend!
