Chicco Close to You 3-in-1 Bassinet, Bedside Sleeper & Changing Table (Oat/Beige)

Our baby didn’t like sleeping in this became of how narrow it is - he would constantly roll into the sides. It is well made and sturdy. We currently love it as a changing table, although it makes for an expensive changing table we use it all the time.

There are very few positive features to highlight. The product has a cheap vibration system-the control panel sets on the sides to create the vibration. It does not soothe. The wheels are awful and never roll, especially on carpet. The height adjustable feature does not accommodate typical bed heights, and the sides fold down loudly, always waking baby. Baby must be lifted up and over the mesh sides, even when down, to be put in. No sides zip off or roll down. The most frustrating baby product we own.

I specifically chose this bassinet for its gliding feature, but unfortunately, it doesn’t glide smoothly anywhere… especially on carpet. The movement is so restricted that my sister actually thought the wheels might have an additional locking mechanism beyond the manual lock (which they don’t). It’s been really disappointing given that gliding was a key reason for my purchase. You have to use a lot of force on carpet to get it to move which wakes the baby when you’re trying to move from one room to the next. I also have hardwood floors but it’s nearly impossible to get the bassinet out of the bedroom with carpet into another room

We were gifted the Close to You 3-in-1 bassinet for our baby shower. What an awesome gift! It was easy to put together and materials are soft and durable. I am so excited that the basinet is so versatile- easily raised/lowered, glides very well/ has sturdy brakes, and can be used as a changing table! This product is truly an all in 1 for newborns. It is also has a very upscale style. I think this will be a lifesaver product for us as first time parents!

Best bedside bassinet sleeper you will ever find. So easy to unzip the sides to easily wash. We love how it can extend up and down in height and you can easily pull it over the side of the bed when needed! I can say that confidently after having 4 children this is the only one I will ever recommend for friends to buy. I even want to buy one to keep for new for my grandchildren when they come over. (obviously that’s long away) but that is how much I love this product.

I love that you can carry the crib around the house thanks to the wheels. My daughter really loves it!

Buy buy buy love it super easy to change over to the changing station super convenient. Only thing I would change is the little music thingy/ the vibrating setting wish that stay on longer or we could set a timer to shut it off and on. But other than that I’ll buy it again❤️.

Easy to assemble, perfect for first time moms

It’s a nice idea that this bassinet is mobile but it doesn’t glide well over carpet. The brake in the base doesn’t lift high enough and it’s very difficult to push. Wish there was a way to fix this. Also, the 3 in 1 isn’t quite worth the extra $100 and the attachment goes through batteries very quickly and doesn’t work well.

The bassinet is really nice. There’s an issue though, the wheels don’t really work because there’s a piece of the core that touches the floor. I checked the instructions and mounted it again. Still the same issue. I asked help on the website and i got an email asking me 100 questions, to make a video, to send the receipt of the order, to do this and that. But nothing related to the issue. I just needed to know if there was something wrong I was doing, i didn’t want to be blasted with video requests.

The bassinet was surprisingly easy and intuitive to setup. Parts fit together easily and seem to be solidly constructed. The bassinet features such as raising / lowering of the bed and bedrails, as well as roll and locking are simple and effective. Can’t wait to use once the baby arrives!

I wish I had this bassinet when I had my first child! Very well made and I love that it is on wheels and has a locking brake. It makes it very easy to move around and then lock in place. My last bassinet didn't have this and was basically stationary. And we love the adjustable height, it is perfect for using bedside or as a changing table.

This product is exactly what we wanted for our first child. I'm so excited that it has wheels to make life easier in the middle of the night. The color fits our space perfectly and we can't wait to put this to good use.

As a first time mom who is constantly reading reviews on so many products, I can confidently say that Chicco has made my life so much easier! This bedside bassinet was so easy to use since even opening the packaging! The wheels, which allow transportation from room-to-room, make it easy to keep an eye on baby, as well as get things done! The fabric is easy to clean and has very easy removal to wash! I love absolutely everything about this product and would recommend it to anyone who is expecting a new addition to their family! It is evident that Chicco thinks everything through when designing and creating their products!

Easy to assemble. Getting out of box was simple for my husband, but if it were just me I would likely need 2 people because of size and weight to make it easier. Colors were nice, simple, plain. Everything functions as it should. Height adjustment is great. Hoping I can find linens for this that aren’t Chicco since it looks like they are out of stock. 3-in-1 is nice so we can use it longer as a changing area on first floor!

I was very excited for the many variations that this Bedside Bassinet offers. We have tried an array of bassinets with our other children; they always seemed to be lacking something. This bassinet can be rolled around from room to room which makes having baby close super easy while trying to complete other tasks. The easy use of having a changing table built in makes for less disturbance for baby while keeping baby calm and cozy. Great product that allows for easy washing and clean up. Having a new little one after getting rid of all of my old baby gear and this bassinet was a perfect choice! The set up was easy as my 10 year old was able to assist:) The fabric is easy to clean and simple to remove to wash. The bassinet rolls smoothly when transporting from location to location on both wood and carpet. The lock brake is strong and sturdy. The features for height and basket adjustments are easy to use and very functional for high beds and quick baby changes. Highly recommended!!!

From opening the packaging to maneuvering and functionality of this bassinet, Chicco has change the game. Anyone who has purchased these products in the past can clearly see that Chicco considers every part of the purchasing experience right down to how the unit comes stored in the box. Assembly of this unit is insanely simple, and the versatility of this bedside bassinet can’t be understated. My wife and I can maneuver this bassinet with ease and its quick locking function allows for added safety. Adjusting the height for the base as well as the side rails of the bassinet basket is a breeze. My wife and I would recommend this to anyone welcoming a new addition to their family.

I’m so glad we got this bassinet for our newborn. We love that the height can be adjusted based on the bed size and the wheels are genius. We are able to easily move the bassinet and not wake our daughter. The vibrating machine is great, it really soothes her at night when we are exhausted and she is fussy. We would definitely recommend this product.

We mainly got this because we have a tall bed and is goes all the way up to it. After this product and knowing we had a toddler car seat already we were loving Chicco so we also bought a stroller and car seat travel system:) definitely can’t go wrong with Chicco! I also love that it turns into a changing table too!

Bought this months ahead of baby coming to make sure it was functioning right before return window, that was a mistake. Once its together, you cannot take it apart because of how they chose to design it. You can easily break it by trying to take it apart. Second, the sheets and most accessories you must buy from the chicco website, if its working and if they are in stock, which is hit and miss, then they charge for shipping on all accessories so the price goes up and up. Wish I'd bought something else and saved myself a few hundred bucks.

I’m actually really glad I bought this bassinet for my baby. My husband would just glide out baby while he’s sleeping from room to room without disturbing him and it’s great that you can slide down the mesh panels so you can change diapers easily. The electric module started to slow down after using it a few times for the vibration (which really calms my baby when he’s fussy) but Chicco sent a replacement so the problem was resolved.

Hi - I would rate this higher but I was under the impression that the bassinet could be taken off of the stand. But, putting it together, I now realize that once together, it cannot be separated. Unless I'm wrong. I would like your help on it if it can be taken off the base when I want just the bassinet and not the stand. Thanks. Oh- also, we thought the "mattress" would be able to be washed, but it has those flaps attached for the changing table when turned over.

Couldn’t see this in a ship due to pandemic so ordered based on reviews. Disappointed as it’s not that easy to push down sides - need both hands on either end.

This bassinet is extremely uneven and unsafe. One side is much lower (the side with the base) than the other and we keep finding our baby with her face up against the mesh. The other morning she had lines on her forehead from being so close to the mesh. Unfortunately, the 1-star reviews from other sites about this specific flaw were not posted until after we purchased this bassinet. I would absolutely not recommend this product.

This is a great bedside sleeper. Our baby sleeps like a champ! Pros: -Husband said it was easy to assemble - Has wheels so can be rolled around house/room (more difficult on carpet) - Mesh surround so you can see baby and baby can breathe if they get too close to the edge - Removable noise/light/vibrating feature - Can be adjusted up or down to match bed height - Mattress cover is washable - Locking position so base doesn't roll or move -Easy to use as a changing table as well Improvements: - A swivel feature would be great to swing the bassinet in a circular motion closer to the bed instead of heaving to roll the entire thing closer. We used a different brand previous to this Chicco one that had that feature and it was super easy to bring the baby closer to you at night - Could use some pockets on sides for diaper/wipe storage

We have this bassinet as well as a more traditional style one that we were given. It was great to have both to compare. This one was much easier to put together, all the parts snapped together and locked in. I love the look of this one and the fact that you can see through the sides. I do wish it had some sort of storage for diapers and wipes but I love how much use we will get out of it from using it as a bassinet to a side sleeper and a changing area!

This bassinet has been helpful for late night feedings and diaper changes. I especially like the mesh sides. These provide peace of mind knowing I can easily see my little one when rolling over in the wee hours of the night. Having the ability to move the bassinet on wheels is another great feature. I previously owned a free standing bassinet that did not have wheels, and it was much more difficult to handle. I felt like I was always moving it in order to get in and out of bed. With the swivel bassinet, I am able to conveniently reposition it. The wheels swivel smoothly. The diaper changing pad is a great added feature. Overall great product! The bassinet was very easy to assemble, but was definitely heavier than we initially expected (although that's a good thing because it helps with stability). It can be a bit challenging to roll it around on carpet, but that's to be expected. On our wood floors, it rolls like a dream! A small negative is that it took our toddler maybe 5 minutes to figure out how to lift the wheel lock handle and thus unlock it so it can roll around. Since we primarily use the bassinet on carpet it's not a huge deal for us, but I could see that possibly being a challenge for others. I like that the pad is reversible to make it a changing table as well, although you'll want to be careful of any unexpected spray because the outer cover can be a bit challenging to take on/off to clean. But, I love that the sides are mesh! The height adjustment is also great since my spouse and I are very different in that area. Overall, it's a great, multi-use bassinet!

We are expecting our first baby in a few short months and I knew I wanted a bedside bassinet with wheels that could roll under our bed to save space in our small on base housing - I was thrilled when I discovered Chicco had one. It is easy to roll from room, even with our narrow door ways and hallway. It is very sturdy and the easy on/off hand break works well enough that I'm confident having it on both our carpet and hardwood floor. It is easy to adjust the height, which has a large range, so that I can have it at one height when we're using it beside the bed but my husband will be able to raise it easily to a height that's easy for him to do diaper changes. Overall this is a great product that provides easy visibility and access to baby and we are thrilled a trusted brand like Chicco has designed a competitive bedside bassinet. This bassinet is amazing! After reading many of review we decided to purchase this one! We couldn't be happier with our choice! . Very impressed with the quality and size of this bassinet! Putting it together was a breeze and our teenage daughter was able to assemble it without asking for any Help! We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a bedside sleeper and bassinet!

This is one of the best products for new parents. Makes my life so much easier as a new mom. Since it adjusts to the height of your bed, its easy to just roll over and be able to easily pick up your newborn. The wheels on the bottom make it so simple to move around easily, whether late at night or if you want to move it into another room. My son has slept in it almost exclusively for the first few weeks of his life, and he sleeps comfortably in it. The bassinet is stable and I've never once thought that it could fall over or be pulled down by my other children (or me by accident!) Great product and easy to assemble!

This rolls very easy from room to room. Being able to adjust the height is a very nice feature. The mattress cover easily zips to wash. Putting together was very easy with very clear instructions. Given this product for our honest review by Chicco.

We got the Close to You 3-in1 Bassinet and are so happy with its features. It’s very portable with the wheels it moves smooth over the carpet and on to the tile. The hand break allows for safe placement on our tile floors and easy movement wherever is convenient. With our ur nursery being upstairs the fact that this can also be used as a changing table is wonderful and convenient. We are expecting our first baby very soon and can’t wait to use it. By far my favorite part is the mesh side panel for visibility when using it as a bedside sleeper. We couldn’t be more happy with the product and the assembly was easy too. “We were given this product for our honest review by Chico”.

This bassinet is really nice. I love the ability to adjust the height. We started with a low queen bed and just purchased a higher King bed, and this product is perfect. Can easily slide over the height of the bed, has wheels to easily move the bassinet around. Highly recommend.

I can't wait to use this product- since finding out I was pregnant, I wanted a bassinet that would sit right by our bed for easy night time feedings. The quality of the product is great! Everything feels sturdy and the fabric is great quality- I love that the fabric can be removed and washed as well. The varying heights of the bassinet are fantastic, easy to adjust to and all feel stable. The pad is reversible, having a quilted side for sleeping and waterproof side for diaper changing. This bassinet is perfect for us and has every feature we were looking for. We have a high bed, and the bassinet easily adjusts to more than high enough. It has wheels and a small footprint, so it easy to move around our room and switch which side of the bed that its on. We often wheel it to other rooms around our house, so that our baby can sleep while we get some tasks accomplished. In addition to the bassinet being very mobile, our baby sleeps in it wonderfully. She hasn't really adjusted to her crib yet, but sleeps in the bassinet next to our bed for hours every night and hours throughout the day. She loves the music and vibrating feature and even often lays in it while awake. We are both very happy with this product and would highly recommend it. This bassinet is so nice! The design is amazing, it's a moving bassinet, that turns over into a changing table. So convenient and easy to use. The process of putting this together took a total of about 10-15 minutes, that included the time it took to read the directions.The directions are easy to understand. The padding on the bassinet side is comfortable, and can be easily removed to clean. The handles and levers are easily accessible to make the bassinet function easy. The only downfall I would say is that the legs are a little wide so It can not roll through an area around 2 feet wide, but that is more of a user issue due to spacing and furniture. The wheels roll pretty smoothly on carpet which I was nervous about, but it seems to roll smooth thus far. Looking forward to using this during my first early weeks/months with a newborn.

Being able to adjust the height of the bassinet for all the functions it offers is the best part. You can keep it next to you on the couch, attempting to lay in bed, or even higher when my husband is up and moving around helping me clean. I absolutely love this for my baby. It is so nice to have her close enough for me to check on her without getting out of bed. The bassinet is high quality, it looks great and was easy to assemble. It is sturdy and secure. The wheel locks are strong, the mobility of the bassinet is amazing. The sound machine has been a god-send to help her fall asleep and stay asleep. The adjustable sides make it extremely easy to convert into a changing table. Bassinet and mattress fabrics zip off easily and are machine washable for ultimate ease of use. I’m am very happy with the product!
