Graco FastAction SE 2.0 Travel System with SnugRide Lite Infant Car Seat — Astaire (Gray)

I bought this travel system in 2023 for our first baby, and everything is still in excellent condition. We’ve been able to use the car seat and base for our second baby, while continuing to use the stroller for both kiddos. I love the click in feature that allows the car seat to snap into directly the stroller for easy transitions from the car!

The FastAction SE 2.0 Travel System is a game-changer for busy parents. The one-second, one-hand fold is incredibly handy when juggling a baby and a diaper bag. The stroller glides effortlessly, and the included SnugRide Lite Infant Car Seat feels secure and well-padded. I especially love the roomy storage basket and the parent tray with cup holders—small touches that make a big difference. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble, and perfect for everyday adventures. Worst travel system I have ever purchased!!!! This is my 3rd baby, so definitely not my first rodeo. Assembly of the system wasn't hard at all. That was probably the only positive to this purchase. When trying out putting the carseat into the stroller I noticed the placement where its supposed to click is covered by fabric from the canopy. I attempted to move it or keep it secured back to access the clips better. Theres absolutely no way this is possible. Therefore it is a safety hazard! After the carseat was "clicked" into the stroller I then took it off and it couldve been due to the fabric in the way or the placement itself but it seemed harder than what it needed to be to get the carseat out. I had to jiggle the carseat to get it to unhook out of the clip placement. The storage basket on the bottom is oddly shaped and small. I was not impressed with the canopy on the carseat itself. Just with these safety errors and inconveniences I can only imagine what else is wrong with is or what else is a hazard at this point. Definitely will be returning!

The best part of this travel is system is how easy it is. The one handed fold could not be easier. Also, the car seat is very light and clicks in easily to both the base and the stroller. The stroller is compact and doesn’t take up much room both folded and unfolded which is a huge deal in my tiny apartment. It rides smoothly and is a great product, especially for the price. I recently received the Graco FastAction SE 2.0 travel system through Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far it’s really great! The car seat is pretty standard, but I was impressed with the feel of the protective cushions; I genuinely feel as if my child is safe when he’s strapped in. The stroller is the real star though! It’s pretty compact and a smooth ride. It’s not the most modern but still pretty stylish. The stroller is very easy to unfold, and then simply snapping the car seat in place makes everything so much faster when we are on the go (getting him back in the car and folding the stroller to secure it in the trunk is just as easy). Also, my little one and I like to take evening strolls around the park/neighborhood, so I love how I can simply strap him into the stroller and then we are on our way. I have not had this travel system long so I cannot comment on the longevity, but so far so good! I definitely recommend.

First I would like to mention I was given this travel system to try as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I think this travel system is a good option for someone needing an affordable car seat and stroller. I like how lightweight the car seat is, how easy the harness straps are to adjust, and how easy it clicks in and out of the base. I do want to note that the car seat does not have shoulder pads which I prefer for comfort, and you cannot add products like that yourself for safety reasons. However, you can make sure the straps aren’t rubbing your baby’s neck by pulling their clothing up. Also, the canopy seems a little flimsy as it doesn’t open and close very smoothly and I would prefer a longer canopy for more coverage from the sun. The infant insert is also only a pad behind their back. Some infant inserts will go underneath the baby and on their sides to provide more body support and comfort. However, it is still a safe option as all car seats have to pass regulations before going on the market. For the stroller, here is a list of things I really liked: parent and child cup holders, reclining seat (great for naps!), easy fold, compact storage, maneuvers very well, and car seat feels very secure when clicked onto stroller. Of those things mentioned, the compact fold is really great if you like to bring your stroller with you as it will easily fit in any size vehicle. If you have an SUV you can even stand the stroller up if you are traveling with multiple items in the trunk. Again, the canopy could be a bit longer for more sun shade and this stroller does have a smaller basket if that’s a concern for you. I was able to fit a small diaper bag underneath but a larger one definitely would not fit. Overall, the fabric for both products does not feel as nice quality as other Graco products we have but for the price it is okay. Hope this helps!

Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to review this travel system. What follows is my honest review of the Graco Fast Action SE Travel System. The Graco FastAction SE travel system includes the Snugride 35 car seat and base and the original FastAction stroller. Overall, for the price point this is a good car seat with an even better stroller. This travel system is Graco’s version of more high end travel systems on the market and it competes with them very well, with a significant price savings I’ll start with the car seat and base. You can’t beat the convenience of an infant car seat and this one is no different. It got the “Thea” seal of approval as you’ll see from my pictures. She fell asleep in it easily and stayed asleep while being transferred into the car and into the stroller. Overall the car seat is light, with easily stripped off seat materials for cleaning. The seat materials can be machine washed and air dried. The seat did not come with much in the way of infant inserts. Just a smaller back cushion but nothing extra for the shoulder straps, groin clip or head rest area. My biggest dislike on the car seat itself is the canopy. The canopy feels very cheaply made, isn’t made of the best materials, doesn’t move smoothly or quietly and isn’t 50 spf. It also doesn’t have an air flow panel and isn’t overly large so doesn’t provide much sun coverage out of the car. As for the car seat base, it is like others on the market. It has a regular seat belt option and a LATCH system option. I opted for the LATCH system and it was easy to install. I did have a hard time on my leather seats getting it to a tightness of 1 inch in any direction. I never did get it perfect. Just something to consider. My biggest dislike of the base was there was not a built in level on the base. There is a line that must be level to the ground but not a level to reference. You’ll either have to have your own or use your phone to insure it’s right. The stroller is really nice. It’s a little difficult to get the infant car seat clipped in at first, but with constant use it is easy. User error on my part. I was impressed with how well the car seat rolls on different surfaces. It did great in my lawn, on a brick path way, and asphalt. I’ve taken it on multiple 5 mile walks and it rolls smoothly and quietly and handles bumps well; better than some of my other strollers. The one hand fold is really easy and once folded it stays locked in the closed position. To open, you hold the pull strap and open easily. The canopy on the stroller is 50spf. My only complaints are the size of the canopy, I would prefer it to be large to provide more shade, and perhaps have a mesh panel for airflow on a hot day. I also wish the stroller had a compartment near the handle that would hold my iPhone in Otterbox case. It doesn’t have a large enough tray or wide enough cup hold to hold it. Overall if you are on a budget but need a safe, affordable option for a travel system this is a great choice. The car seat has some great safety ratings and the stroller is comparable to other higher end models on the market. I deducted on star for the less than desirable car seat canopy and the lack of built in level on the car seat base. Ultimately these do not affect the ability to safety transport your child or enjoy the system.

I was so excited to get this travel system! Once it arrived it was very easy to put together and took me no time at all. Everything feels very sturdy and not cheap. The stroller has 2 cup holders and room for phone/keys/wallet for the parent and 2 cup holders and space for a snack for the child. The seat reclines so that the child can lay almost flat. The basket below holds my diaper backpack easily and I don’t have to struggle to get it out. There is a shade, but I wish it had a spot to peek to make sure your child is doing ok without having to pull up the shade or walking to the front of the stroller. The showstopper is the strap/handle in the stroller seat that you simply pull up on and the whole stroller collapses with ease and then stands up folded on its own for storage. It’s a game changer while holding a child you your other arm. The stroller is also a great weight, not too heavy at all! The carseat was easy to install into my car and get it level. The carseat easily clicks out of the base and clicks into the stroller - very easy. This is such a great, easy travel system at such an incredible price!
