Baby Trend brand considered reliable budget option vs Graco.
Baby Trend is a solid budget brand. We have the Retreat nursery center and it's held up well for twins. The storage is nice, but the changing table position is weird—it sort of hangs over the playard and I worry about bumping baby's head. I'd still recommend it if you want to save money over Graco.

Using the bassinet from birth: works well as primary sleep space.
We used the Baby Trend Retreat Nursery Center with the bassinet since birth. It's been great—the mulberry color is cute, and the vibration and music help soothe our newborn. We didn't buy a separate crib. Definitely recommend for small spaces.
