My daughter was born weighing 1 pound. So of course, she is quite small even to this day. She is 7 months old and only weighs 11 pounds, but I don’t want her to miss out on learning and sitting and touching and pulling. I bought a play and sit seat for her, which of course she slumped right over in. The HuggaPod provides the extra support and padding that she needs to sit upright and work on motor control.
Absolute BEST. PURCHASE. EVER! This HuggaPod by KidCo has made it possible for my lil’ man to sit upright and hold head upright unassisted for the very first time in the 7 months of his life! He was born with a developmental disorder where he will have a delay in meeting all his milestones. This product is wonderful in assisting him to help hold head up. Moved me to tears! It’s a VERY happy day! Thank you for your product!!! ????????
I love this thing. We use it in a jumper, a baby seat, and the go pod. It allows our 3 month old son more freedom than he would have otherwise as it provides excellent neck support!
Love this! Got it for my active 4 month old because I was tired of stuffing a blanket in-front of and behind him in the saucer. It’s perfect. It keeps him padded in the front so he can’t hit his face. 100% recommend

I bought the Huggapod in hopes that I could put my young baby in a jumper more safely at a younger age than is typical. ... My baby is only 3 and half months old... sandwixhed in the huggapod, viola! She is supported! Her head doesn't wobble while running and is snug in there. My only concern is it's so fuzzy and warm, I will have to be mindful she doesn't get overheated. ... I would DEFINATELY use this in conjunction with a jumper. ... It's cozy and warm; good for indoors in the cool, but be careful in the sun or outdoor heat! Baby could overheat in the summer.

We used the HuggaPod in an exersaucer and it was a game changer. He was able to sit in it starting at 4 months. Before that, we just used a rolled up blanket in his high chair. ... We also used it in the bucket swings at the park. Great purchase.

Discussion on using KidCo Peapod for 7mo, related to HuggaPod
At 7 months, if they're able to sit unassisted, I wouldn't. Aftermarket padding isn't recommended once they can sit on their own as it can cause them to overheat or slump in an unsafe position. The Peapod is more for sleeping, not sitting support. I'd stick with the HuggaPod for that age if they really need extra padding, but honestly if they're sitting they're fine without.

Stupid purchases pre baby? The HuggaPod was one. I had a pretty big baby so by the time we even put her in her jumper or bouncer she could already support herself. It's been sitting in the closet for months.
