You can get grab bars in bronze, black, and textured, in different styles, just make sure the style does not compromise the function. Suction grab bars for elderly parent: consensus against reliance
We used a suction cup grab bar for my elderly mom’s shower. It worked okay for a while, but one day it just let go when she grabbed it.
