We purchased the baby gate moreso for our dogs than children! But regardless of its use, it's doing a fantastic job! It's a great sleek design and looks really good in the space. It's a clean and tidy setup and the fabric makes it look more elegant than the steel bar options!
I finally got to fitting
I finally got to fitting the gate. Great product, on the other hand, the bannister adaptor kit is overpriced rubbish. Looks like a 5 year old made it, rubbish timber with splits, that sure enough split further as soon as the screws went in. Had to bin it and screw straight to the bannister.
The bottom portion of the
The bottom portion of the screen is not as taunt as the top part which can allow a small dog to pass through.

Mixed experience with latching and mount stability
The top attachment keeps detaching. The hooks are hard to get the gate in and out of. The wall attachments were loose even when using the yellow screw anchoring device. I needed to use cardboard pieces to provide some stability. ... The gate is useful and has a wide entrance/exit which is especially useful in my uneven doorways. What I don't like is the turn dial on the gate (I either don't get the point or mine doesn't work because I don't think it does anything but get in the way) and the difficulty of getting the bottom latch to hook/unhook, sometimes the gate mesh has too much tension and I have use my foot to pull it along so I can shut it. Other than that 10/10!
