Assembly issues with DaVinci cribs including conversion kit
We got the jenny lind and really like it, but we had issues with the screws stripping as we were assembling. We managed to get it together but it was a frustrating time...I will say I don't think it's worth the price purely because while it is solid wood, the design of the assembly is not great. The screws aren't going into metal threads like with other furniture. It also says it's assembled at a certain step when you feel resistance, but after we fully assembled it we had to do a lot of manual tightening to get the sides sturdy.

Cost vs value of conversion kit compared to full bed
I think the conversion kit is insanely overpriced for what it is. It's a piece of wood. That said, I bought it because the crib is so pretty and I wanted it to be usable as a toddler bed. But $90 for a piece of wood is steep. I will say, had I known I was going to have 2 kids, I might've just bought the IKEA one and called it a day.

Conversion kit is a must-buy for crib longevity
I have this crib and the conversion kit. It's been great. My oldest used it as a crib and then toddler bed, and now my youngest is using it. Well worth the money to get the conversion kit so you don't have to buy a whole new bed.

Conversion kit availability and long-term use
We have the Jenny Lind and love it. Our daughter is almost 3 and we just converted it to the toddler bed using the kit. It was easy to install and she loves it. Definitely recommend getting the kit.

Mixed feelings on price but pleased with functionality
I have the Jenny Lind crib and bought the toddler rail. It's pricey for what it is but I'm glad I got it. My son loves his 'big boy bed' and it feels sturdy. I'd buy it again but I wish it was included or cheaper.

Conversion kit makes crib a worthwhile investment
I think the Jenny Lind is a great crib for the price if you get the conversion kit. Without it, it's just a crib, but with it you get years of use. We're about to convert ours for our second child and I'm glad we kept it.
