Graco Pack and Slay

Mickylala1

I was given this baby item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was thoroughly impressed with the look and functionality of this pack and play. I loved the wooden legs! It’s goes with our home decor and blends in well! It is not an eyesore by any means! While my daughter is too big for the newborn seat, we raised up the pack n play so we can have it right next to our bed within arms reach! We absolutely love this feature. It is also light and easy to move around. It does take up more room than the bassinet we were using, but we love how roomy it is for her! We also love how the bottom has a zipper feature so that when she gets older, she can go in and out of it with ease! Plus, the zipper has a holder for the parent to “lock it in” essentially on the outside! The mat is an easy to wipe fabric that is still nice and comfy! She actually threw up on it the first night and we just wiped it up easily. Didn’t have to wait long at all for it to dry! My husband and I are thoroughly impressed and grateful for this product! It is better than some of the others we were looking at!

Great and easy to use Pack and Play

GracoPnP

I received the Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. First off, I love how durable and lightweight this playard is. It’s very easy to carry, set up, and break down—after watching one quick youtube video, the setup felt simple and repeatable. It folds up nicely, making it easy to throw throw in the car on the go. The size is great for our little one, who is just over 2 months old, but it was also a decent size for my friend’s 3-year-old, who could still hang out comfortably in it too. The design is modern and understated—not overly flashy, which I prefer. For now, my favorite feature is definitely the diaper changer seat. With a baby still in the newborn stage, this has been a lifesaver for quick and convenient changes, especially when traveling. The portable infant seat has also been really useful. I like that it feels safe and sturdy, and being able to remove it and set it on the ground when needed has been a big plus. I also think it is safe and will not fall apart, which is important for our fragile little guy. Some of the extra features, like the wipe fabric holder, might be handy for certain families, but I personally just kept wipes in a bag or on the side. What really stood out to me was how easy the fabric is to clean—even after a big milk spit-up, it wiped down without issue. The padded mat on the bottom adds comfort for baby and makes cleanup simple too and folds up nicely to easily pack away. We have used this product for every family outing since receiving it. I haven't used another product as this is our first kid, but I can't see how I'd want a different one, or that there's much room for improvement. Overall, this is a thoughtful, well-designed playard that’s practical, comfortable, and very easy to use. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, travel-friendly pack and play for their baby.

Pack and go anywhere

Meshy

As a mom of two that travels out of state to visit family frequently having a pack ‘n play has been a life saver. When I first received the Close2Baby from the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was really excited because I did not have a Pack ‘n Play with my first born. The sleek design looks expensive and fits the aesthetic of my home without giving whatever room I put it in that “baby gear eyesore” feel that a lot of bulky baby items give the rooms they are placed in. The mesh sides and soft fabric accents give it a lighter, more modern feel than older or more common playards I have seen other moms have. In my daily life, I toggle between wanting functionality vs. aesthetics. The Close2Baby manages that balance reasonably well - the fabric and frame are practical but visually pleasing to have in my living areas. On to the many modes of use this playard has. The Close2Baby is marketed as a multi-mode playard with bassinet and changing station. Per Graco’s description, the key components are: an elevated portable bassinet, portable, removable changing station, toddler playard (floor level), and carry bag for travel. The modes I have used the most with my 19 month old and newborn have been the toddler playard and the portable bassinet. I love being able to easily move my newborn from room to room around the house while he’s comfortably napping. My toddler isn’t the biggest fan of being confined but the playard has come in handy when I need to change my newborn and need to keep my toddler confined. The whole unit overall is not heavy so I am able to push it around our living space with ease. I also love that the changing station is so easy to clean. Wiping it down with a sterilizing wipe between changes ensures both my kids are being changed on a clean surface. The most useful mode for me has been the ease of being able to fold up the whole unit and take it to my parents’ house. Having my newborn elevated in the playard while in the bassinet makes things feel safer and more convenient when my toddler and his cousins are all running around and playing together. It also made recovery easier with not having to bend deeply to pick my newborn up or change him. The removable diaper changer is a big win. The fabric is wipe-clean which saves me from worrying about staining from diaper cream smudges, ointments or accidents during diaper changes. Having the changing station integrated into the playard meant no need for a separate changing table while traveling. This product has a lot of pros, but no product is perfect and my biggest complaint comes from the lack of a built in diaper/wipe holder attachment. I wish this model came with the snap in caddy attachment for diapers and wipes like other Graco Pack ‘n Play units I have seen. Another con is the confusion with instructions and assembly. The assembly instructions that come with the playard are extremely frustrating to follow. A video demonstration or more clearly written instructions would be more beneficial. It took much longer than expected to assemble it because if the ambiguous instructions but once it was put together it’s easy to fold up and put it in the carry bag. The push button fold is great and easy to get the playard closed up and into the carry bag. In summary, as a mother of two under two, who also travels frequently, the Close2Baby Pack ‘n Play has been a great addition to my baby gear lineup! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family who may be in the market for a pack ‘n play of their own!

A pack n play that is actually luxurious

Esme

The Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard has quickly become one of my favorite baby gear items. I love its modern design, neutral colors, and elevated wood grain finishes that blend seamlessly into my home without feeling overly “baby.” The premium fabrics give it a high-end look and feel that sets it apart from others we’ve tried. We recently took this playard on vacation, and I was so impressed with how easy it was to travel with. The carrying bag is compact and convenient, and despite being slightly heavier than other models, it was completely worth it for the comfort and style. Setup was a breeze, it took me just seconds to unfold and get it ready for the very first time. Collapsing it down to store or pack away is just as simple. Most importantly, my baby slept soundly through the night while we were away. Compared to other playards we’ve owned, this one is noticeably more comfortable. At home, I’ve been using it every single day as a safe play space. The side zipper is a feature I love because it allows my baby to crawl in and out independently when we’re using it as a playard, which makes playtime feel more fun and engaging. Although my baby is 9.5 months and too big for the infant seat or removable changer, I can tell they’re high-quality pieces that will come in handy when we use this again for our next child. If I had to point out one drawback, it’s that this playard is a bit heavier than some others on the market. But the luxurious touches, ease of setup, and the comfort it provides for my little one make it more than worth it. Overall, the Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard has exceeded my expectations as both a travel essential and a daily play space. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this awesome baby item!

Modern Decor Pack and Play

MinimalMama

I received this product as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel review, and overall, I’m really impressed with it. The bassinet is one of my favorite features, it has a hammock like design that feels cozy and supportive. I especially like the clip in option, which makes it easy and safe to move my son around. The only drawback is that if he’s just lying on the clips, it’s uncomfortable. The changing station is another strong point. I appreciate that it’s long enough to accommodate growth, but I do wish it were a bit deeper for added security. A small detail that I noticed is that this model doesn’t come with a storage caddy like others Graco has. It only has a pouch, having a built-in place for diapers, wipes, and other essentials would make it even more convenient. On the positive side, the padding is fantastic, it feels like memory foam, which adds a level of comfort you don’t often see. I also love the aesthetic design. The wood look is stylish and blends perfectly into my living room design, making it feel less like bulky baby gear and more like part of my home. Practicality wise, it’s lightweight and easy to break down. The “free play access” is a unique feature that I haven’t seen before, but I think it’ll be really useful once my son is old enough. Overall, this pack and play offers a great mix of comfort, functionality, and style. A few small improvements could make it even better, but I’m very happy with it so far.

Sleek and made well for the busy family

Jessgriffin

I received the Graco Pack ‘n Play® Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard from Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have been so impressed! First off, this playard is lightweight, sleek, and incredibly easy to clean. I love the modern look with the soft color scheme and wooden accents—it feels like a piece that blends into my home instead of standing out as bulky baby gear. The bassinet is lightweight and clicks securely into place but detaches just as easily, making setup or breakdown a breeze. The changing pad hooks on firmly yet removes quickly and can be tucked behind the playard for storage—a thoughtful detail that keeps everything tidy. Plus the fabric wipes down for a clean diaper change. The free play option is something I hadn’t seen before, and with three kiddos, I’m thrilled to have a feature that we’ll be able to use for years. The zipper even has a buckle for added security, which gives me peace of mind knowing I don’t have to worry about an “escapee” during nap time. The pad has extra secure tabs to also avoid having your little one lift it up. What really sets this playard apart for me, though, is how simple it is to assemble and disassemble. The poles click together smoothly and securely, and when it’s time to put it away, they disconnect so the entire playard folds compactly. Even better, it can be folded one-handed—and as a busy mom, that’s an absolute game-changer. Overall, the Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard combines style, convenience, and versatility in one thoughtful design. It’s definitely going to be a staple in our home for years to come.

Incredibly versatile and grows with Baby

QQ6525

If you want a bassinet, and a play yard, this is the one. No need to buy both. And you'll even get the changing table with it as well. It's sleek, perfect coloring for any home and it folds up to a nice size, making packing it into small trunks a breeze. The set up - considering how many individual parts are needed - was not as bad as I had thought it would be. I had no help from the husband to set it up, although I have an engineering degree, its rather intuitive to set this up and the instructions provided are great. Plenty of pictures. In order to use the newborn bassinet within the pack and play, you do need to have the general bassinet lining in place. It locks in place with the plastic hanger thing from the lining, I've taken a photo of the contraption. Something that I love about the large bassinet lining is how stable it is compared to a previous graco one I have. It hardly moves side to side and that's due to the heavy duty zipper that keeps it together. The changing table is nice, its easy to clean and the fact it just sits securely on the pack and play makes it incredibly convenient. My favorite part is how incredibly cushioned the pad is. The sides of the top railing are rather cushioned as well. I also love that there's a zipper to the play yard bottom so baby can come and go as he pleases. I received this play yard as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My review is honest and I truly believe this pack and play is the best one for the price.

New and Improved Playard

Mvala

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard. My first impression of this playard was that it looks really nice and high-end. Its design is simple, but sleek. I also love the polka dots on the mat and the wood-like accents. It doesn’t look tacky at all being out in the family room. This playard seems to be improved from the one I used three years ago with my first child. The mat seems to be more cushioned and comfortable. I love the zipper on the netting to allow my toddler to play with my baby. There’s also a buckle on the zipper that can keep the toddler out when we don’t want it unzipped. The changing table attachment is easy to wipe clean and convenient to change the baby on. My baby is 8 months old and loves sitting in this playard and playing with his toys. The portable baby seat is also really nice. I wish I had the portable seat when my son was a newborn because it would’ve come in handy to move him easily from room to room. Overall this playard has a great design and is a comfortable, safe place for the baby to play and sleep in.

Sleek and convenient

Gone are the days of eyesore pack n' plays! The Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard is modern, stylish, functional, and so easy to set up and use! It can grow with baby with 6 different modes and functions. We received this after baby had already outgrown the portable infant seat and infant bassinet, but we're getting tons of use out of the diaper changing station and playard! Baby can have a safe place to play and rest, but you can also unzip the side to allow for free play. The diaper changer is easy to wipe, so convenient to use, and easily snaps on and off the top of the pack n' play. I would have absolutely loved having the infant seat to easily move baby around the house in the early days! This pack n' play is so easy to set up and is compact when folded. The mattress wraps around securely with velcro and can get tucked away when not in use. Thanks to Stellar Panel Product Testing Panel for providing this great multi- use baby gear!

Full Service Playard

DDoh2

Recently, I received a Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard to review for Stellar Product Testing. The Graco Close2Baby is perfection when it comes to Pack n Play options. We currently co-care for one five-month old infant in a multi-generational home setting and have a second infant coming into our home in early November. The Close2Baby has every feature we could desire. The system unfolds and was ready for use in only minutes. When we decided to move the Pack n Play to another room it entailed only pushing a few buttons and a pull on the tab located in the bottom of the system. Another outstanding feature was the feel of the fabric and the meshing used. They are soft, not a bit scratchy, and the texture and quality of material choice bestows a feeling of a high-end product. The soft gray color blended into the area and the color choice provided a serene feel to the setting. The ability to use the sleeping and play area higher for infants and low for babies sitting up is a win. While our baby now rolls over (but is not attempting to sit up) and prefers to sleep on her stomach. The sleep position, in the high level, seemingly provides plenty of supine support. This system's bassinet provides a safety buckling system. While the bassinet is small in size, we utilized it by removing it from the bigger system. This allowed us to have the small infant right near us on the floor. The buckling system was a bit large for a small newborn that could not turn over, but we utilized the buckles none-the-less. We had never seen a zippered side panel when we were looking at Pack n Plays. This is a unique design feature which allows for a toddler to be put to sleep with the zippered area up, but the zipper can be lowered allowing the toddler to crawl out when finished sleeping. This would reduce the risk of a the toddler hurting themselves by falling trying to climb out over the top. We thought with the zipper down (and the sleeping mat in the low position) it might be a fun 'cave' to play in when the child begins to ambulate. *The slightly elevated changing area is a blessing to our backs and having the small storage pouch which holds a few supplies close by is a positive. We utilize a changing pad, but the vinyl surface does provide the ability to wipe the surface, if soiled. The Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard checks all our boxes for design, looks, durability, and functionality making it a playard that will grow with a child from infancy to toddlerhood. We would highly recommend this product.

A necessity with a modern twist

Jammasterjules

With 4 kids the graco pack n play have been a need. It’s the best when traveling or when you have guests. Sometimes I even use it regularly as a crib. Stellar panel gifted me the close to baby lux pack and play and I wish I had it sooner. The bassinet and changing table is a game changer and so convenient. Once you get it set up it’s a breeze, however I wish set up was a little more intuitive. If you are about to have your first I say make the investment. You could even skip a bassinet and go straight to this.

Close to perfection

KaseyK

I was part of a product tester program with Stellar reviews to review this product. That being said, I am a mom of 3 boys and know my way around baby products—this is my honest review of the Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard. I love how premium this product feels. They’ve really stepped up the quality feel with woodgrain accents, soft fabrics and easy to clean materials. I did end up adding a sheet to the mattress for easier spit up/accident clean ups. The main features I used on this product for my 4 month old were the changing pad and the playard functionality. If I were to have it when my baby was a newborn, I would absolutely use the bassinet feature and portable baby seat more. I love that this product has so many uses and grows with you as a parent. The built in baby seat is lightweight and portable for a quick place to have your baby nearby as you watch other kids or handle other responsibilities. The bassinet is at a good height for safe sleep in a parent’s room for overnights or napping on the go. The mattress is firm enough to be safe, but giving enough to provide a sleepy kid a comfortable place to rest. The diaper changing pad is appropriate for my child’s current size and I felt safe leaving him in there while I reached for creams/diapers and wipes. The playard is the expected size and has a zipper—which I LOVE. The usefulness of this seemingly small feature can't be understated. I am 5’ and leaning into any baby sleep space to comfort a child is not easy but the zipper makes being face level which the child while also being able to provide soothing activities like patting or hand-holding is GOLDEN. For the cons—there aren’t many! I think this playard is price competitive given the amount of features you get for your purchase. It took a bit to set all the pieces up, but that’s a one time activity. I took off a star for the product’s weight. I have a competing brand that weighs half of what this one does, and that would be taken into consideration if I needed to use this frequently for travel. I think this system is better suited for a semi-permanent location, maybe moving it around the house, but staying on one level of a home. I would also have loved a bit more storage on the sides for diapering. Parent’s go through a ton of diapers and wipe containers still take up space. Add in cream tubs and soothers or distracting toys and you’ve quickly used up the capacity of the mesh pocket on the side. Overall, I am really happy with the product and excited I got to use it. I would recommend it to parents and commend Graco for stepping up the look of their products with this item.

Excellent Playard

Marissa

Thanks goes to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this modern Graco Pack’n’Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard. The design sports clean, simple lines that fit well with our home. Just like a black window screen “disappears” to the eye and allows one to better admire the view, black mesh of the Playard allows me to see my baby more clearly which I truly appreciate. The clean lines and sharp corners make the Playard feel more like furniture rather than just another bright colored (visually loud) baby item. I was impressed, with how relatively lightweight it was. The side zipper “door” is ingenious. It will definitely come in handy as the baby gets bigger and I allow my older children to help get him up from naps. My favorite feature is the changing station. It is super sturdy with posts clicking into the corners and extra supports gripping the top bars. There is no leaning or sagging which is usually a concern especially with my almost five month old chunky baby! We keep the Playard in the kitchen in what is usually the breakfast nook which allows him to see everyone in the living room and hear them out on the deck. And it allows me to easily change him without a cardio stair workout to the bedrooms upstairs or having to get up and down of the floor any extra times a day! Same goes for the portable baby seat. When the bassinet is installed, the baby seat has two supports that slip right into place. Love the simple, easy to use engineering. We used the portable baby seat to allow baby to nap out on the deck while I pushed my three other kids on the swings, brought it to the garden so he could participate in cucumber hunting, and set it out front so I could easily pop him in it whenever the older children needed rescuing from their possibly questionable life choices while riding bikes. The Graco Playard makes it simple to safely include baby into our every day activities all while looking beautiful. The fabrics used really are lovely. As a musician and someone who is very sensitive to texture, I love that the fabric is quiet. There is no “shshshsh” the usually comes with wind breaker like material of older models. This Close2Baby Lux has soft to the touch, almost a jersey feel to the fabric. Love it! The entire system is a win, but I think the changer feature is my favorite. With the bassinet as a close second. Newborns can be hard to pick up safely so not having to lean over and “touch your toes” while doing so is excellent.

Great multiple use product

Chels

I got the Graco Pack ’n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux and it’s been super handy. It’s a playard, seat, and changing station all in one, which saves a ton of space. The seat is nice because I can move it around the house, and the easy-wipe fabric is a lifesaver for cleaning up the inevitable baby messes. The playard itself is sturdy, folds up without much hassle, and the changing station is so convenient for quick changes. Setup takes a little figuring out at first, but once you know how, it’s easy. Overall, just a really practical baby item that makes life simpler and that is something I really value at this time! I really appreciate receiving this product to review from Stellar testing panel!

Great and Versatile Pack n Play

KaraB

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really liked this pack 'n play. We first used it while on a family vacation and appreciated how it was compact for packing in the car and easy to put together. It seemed very sturdy and safe for our 6-month old. A couple of my favorite features were the side zipper so it was easy to get her in and out without having to lower her down from the top, as well as the comfortable mattress (doesn't seem thin and cheap like other pack 'n plays we've used). I really appreciate the changing table on the top as well. There's limited space in the room we're traveling in and I like that I don't need a separate space to change our little one. It's super easy to put on and take off the top, and easy to clean. Overall, this is a great pack 'n play that is super versatile and can be used from the littlest infants (using the included bassinet) to larger babies or early toddlers as a sleep or play area.

Graco PacknPlay

Graco

I love the look and sleek design of this pack n'play. It is smooth, and. stylish without taking over the space. Since it has neutral colors, it fits with my home decor in any room of my house. I love how easy it is to set-up and tear down. I use this as the primary place for my baby to sleep, at naptime and overnight. I appreciate that the sides of the playyard are made from a soft, breathable mesh so I can visualize my baby and also not worry about him suffocating. Unfortunately, I didn't receive this until my baby had already outgrown the infant zip-in bassinet, portable infant lounger and changing table. Although, with how easy and portable each mode is, I know I would've used all of them frequently when he was smaller. I appreciate that so many useful products come in one package. Instead, when my baby was newborn, I had separate items for each task. It would've been nice to have it all in one. I really love having the ability to un-zip the side of the play yard. That way, when my baby wakes up from napping, he can just crawl out the side if I leave it open. I also use it during playtime so he can easily come in and out. He always seems comfortable sleeping in this pack n'play and vastly prefers it over his more traditional crib. I appreciate the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try out this product. I will definitely be recommending it to other moms.

Easy and nice looking

Graco

I received this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and absolutely love it! Our daughter is 7 months old, and we needed a safe place to put her when we get ready for work in the morning. This fits great in our bedroom, and I really love the look. The bottom has a small polka dot pattern, and it looks nice being out in our bedroom. I had a bassinet that was such an eyesore, and I like that this more seamlessly fits into our room. Putting it together was so easy, so I can’t wait to travel with it. We haven’t used the bassinet attachment yet because she’s too old, but I’d be really excited to use them if we have another baby.

Top 10 Baby Must Have

This Graco Pack-n-Play should be on everyone’s registry! It serves as a safe place for your baby to sleep, play, and be changed with the added bonus of a portable seat. As a third time mom, I can tell you that a multi use item like this is worth it and will be used daily. I love that the pad of the play yard can be raised for infants. I like to keep our pack n play downstairs for a safe place for baby to have supervised naps. This especially comes in handy when you have other kids and need them to be off the couch or floor. The pad itself really is comfortable! I absolutely love that there is a changing pad for you to attach on top along with a pouch on the same side to hold diapers, wipes or whatever else you may need. It always hurts my stomach bending over too far postpartum so having a raised changing area really does help! The portable seat is also so nice! I love that you can buckle baby in (again added safety with other siblings around) and that it has a canopy for outdoor use. My favorite way to use the baby seat is for baby to sit and watch at a safe distance while I’m cooking or a safe place for them to be while I’m showering. Graco really has thought of so many small features with this product, like being able to fold it up while the infant insert is still attached, wipe clean fabrics, and the overall ease of putting everything together. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to review this product.

Graco Pack n Play Close2Baby

Graco

I recently got the Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard through Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall it’s been a solid investment for our baby. What I like most is its versatility, it transitions from newborn to toddler, so we’re really getting multiple products in one. The bassinet and infant seat are great for the early months, and I love having the changer attached for quick diaper changes. It feels sturdy, well-made, and the design looks nice in the room. That said, there are a few downsides, the infant seat and bassinet are also a bit smaller than expected, so baby outgrew those pieces fairly quickly. Its also a little bulky. Still, for everyday use at home it’s been very convenient. It keeps everything in one place, is safe for sleep in the bassinet stage, and gives peace of mind that it’ll last us well into toddlerhood. If you want an all-in-one setup and don’t plan to travel with it constantly, this is a great choice. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars – excellent for home use, just not the most travel-friendly.

Comfort Convenient Luxury in a Box

This playard is amazing. I wish I had it when my little one was first born. It has a sleek modern design that fits well. The bassinet mode is large and the pad that it come with is one of the softest and padded pads out there. No need for extra padding. I am definitely impressed with the high quality. It is easy to clean. My son had a blowout while lounging in it and some got on the padding with dish soap and water it came out easily. I was sad when I thought it was ruined. I haven’t used the infant bassinet because my little one is 3.5 more and in the 96th percentile for height. He’s super long but it is well made and looks cute. The changing table is a nice addition. I don’t keep it on all the time but use it every now and then. So far I keep it in bassinet mode since my little one isn’t sitting up yet but I can’t weight to use the playpen mode. I set it up in the living room in front of the kitchen so I have a safe place for baby to lounge while I make breakfast or dinner. It was very easy to set up and take down. My husband didn’t think we needed it and didn’t want to set it up for me but I was able to set it up on my own with ease. Once it was set up he fell in love with it and now we both use it often. We haven’t taken it on the go yet but it’s not super heavy which is a huge plus. I plan to take it with me when we travel since it’s a large bed/bassinet and baby has room to toss and turn. I received this product as a part of a stellar review panel but I do honestly Iove it and would definitely purchase it on my own. This is my 3rd baby and I never used a playard with my other 2 but if this was available back with my 2 oldest I would have made the investment. I am super impressed with the quality it gives high tier quality/luxury to rival more expensive brands. I highly recommend this product.

Wonderful travel playpen

MomofTWOinthethickofit

I received this product through the stellar product testing panel and was excited about trying out a travel product for my 8 month old. My excitement turned a little as there were no instructions on how to assemble the play yard. After a moment of digging around I found videos on how to assemble the bottom part. I will say the fabric is definitely amazing. It’s a sturdy soft material. The mat is soft but supportive. I used it to let my 8 month old play independently away from their siblings and to also take a nap in. She enjoyed her nap stretched out with plenty of room. I love the clasp on the side which added an extra layer of security so my toddler couldn’t unzip the compartment and bother her sister. I also love the storage space on the side for a few items to have handy right there. Overall this product is great just wish I had clear instructions on how to install the other pieces.

Safe play area for my six months old baby

I am really thankful to stellar for sending us the Grace Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard as part of stellar product testing panel. Its a perfect gift to us as our baby started to turn around on her tummy. It's really unsafe to keep her in open space without a boundary. The modern look gives an aesthetic look to our home, and it's very useful to peacefully keep our baby in while I work in kitchen or go for a bathroom break. The portable infant seat is very useful as we can peacefully and safely transfer babay from one room to another even when baby is asleep. The portable diaper changing station is very useful as we can change the diaper in any room as per comfort. During diaper blow out the easy cleaning feature is the best quality I realy on as it can be cleaned easy and I have a stree free diaper changing time. I am really thankful to stellar for this amazing product.

I’ve been really impressed with this playard that I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! It breaks down easily and comes with a travel case, which makes storage and carrying super convenient. I also love the two-level design—it works as a safe playard for toddlers and a cozy bassinet for infants to play or rest. The changing table is another great feature. It wipes clean quickly and has a handy storage pouch to keep all the diapering essentials within easy reach. My favorite part is the portable infant seat that can be moved from room to room, making it so simple to keep baby close by. Overall, this Pack ‘n Play has everything I need in one system. I don’t have any complaints—it’s functional, versatile, and thoughtfully designed for both parents and little ones.

Highly recommended

I received this playard through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I can’t say enough great things about it! This playard is absolutely amazing! The look is beautiful and sleek—so modern and stylish, it fits right in with our home. I especially love the portable infant seat with the canopy. Being able to safely and securely keep baby next to us anywhere in the house is a total game changer. Of the six modes, the infant sleeping area is my favorite. It’s such a relief not having to bend all the way into the playpen to get the baby out. The portable infant seat takes it even further—1000% yes to being able to move our little one from room to room with ease! The removable diaper changer and easy-wipe fabrics are brilliant. Whoever designed this clearly knows life with little ones. Cleanup is quick and stress-free, which is a lifesaver when juggling a messy baby and multitasking. I am so excited for my little nugget to get bigger so she can use the playard portion. The zipper is soooo nice! It’s a smooth zip, doesn’t get caught and truly feels high quality. I think she is going to love it! Overall, this playard combines style with everyday practicality perfectly—I can’t recommend it enough! I wouldn’t change a thing!

Love the Graco Close2Baby Wish I Had It Sooner

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby item. The Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard is the Pack N' Play you SHOULD choose and have on your baby registry. My biggest regret is not having this earlier. Starting with the way it looks, I usually like colorful vibes when it comes to buying baby stuff, but this Milan color is absolutely spectacular. It's so chic and modern, it fits in perfectly with whatever decor you have going on. I know this because when I received it, I was on my way out the door to spend a few nights at LegoLand. It came at the perfect time because it was very comfortable and easy to transport. The chic Milan color blends seamlessly with any decor, looking elegant at home and in a LegoLand hotel room. The color is simple but very elegant. Not only is it pretty, but it is also convenient; having the changing table helps out tremendously. I just wish that it had a safety strap to keep the baby safe while on the changing pad. I found the care station changer to be the most useful mode. The spacious toddler playard mode came in close second because it was very comfortable and plush. I wish I had had this sooner in my baby's life to have been able to use the portable infant seat. Now that my daughter is 7 months old and is able to roll over, I am unable to safely use the portable infant seat. It would be awesome if Graco could make a portable seat that grows with the baby, maybe have attachments or adapters that can adjust to seat an older baby (6+ months) safely. The removable diaper changer was my favorite part of the Pack 'N Play. It's so convenient to have the changing station so close to where the baby is sleeping or playing. The fabric is also an excellent touch because messes tend to happen during diaper changes, and it's so nice to be able to take a disinfecting wipe and wipe the pad down afterwards. My only concern is the lack of a safety belt/strap to hold the baby in place while changing the diaper. Another thing I would urge Graco to work on is the instructions. When I was putting the changing table together, there were no clear instructions on how to put the fabric cover on the bars, and I had to disassemble it and reassemble the changing table a few times, which was not very convenient when you're in a hotel room with a bunch of kids and a 7-month-old baby, tired and restless.

Lifesaver for Recovering C Section Moms

mazzy

I received the Graco Pack ‘n Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has been an absolute lifesaver for me, especially since I just had a c-section last week. The first thing I noticed and loved is the modern design. It has such a sleek, stylish look that fits perfectly with my modern home décor. The neutral color is another big plus because it blends seamlessly into any space, which I really appreciate. My favorite feature is the changing table. Post c-section, bending over constantly is difficult, so having a raised surface where I can change diapers without straining has made such a difference. Cleanup has been effortless too. The diaper changer wipes clean so easily. I’ve been using baby wipes after each use, and even messy blowouts have wiped away without leaving any stains. The playpen itself is lightweight, which makes it easy to move from room to room. I plan to keep it in my home office while I work from home because it has everything I could possibly need for my baby right next to me. I also love the portable bassinet. It is very lightweight, which has been especially helpful in this first week postpartum. I’ve been able to comfortably carry the baby from room to room without overexerting myself, and it gives me so much peace of mind having a safe, cozy spot for him no matter where I am. Another thing I love is that this playard grows with the baby. It is not just something that works for the newborn stage, but something that will last me for years to come as my baby grows and transitions into different stages. Overall, this playard has been such a practical and thoughtful setup for both mom and baby, and I can’t imagine the first week home without it.

Great for all stages

Mara

As the mother of a baby who is always on the go, the Graco Pack n' Play Close2Baby Seat Lux Playard has been very useful. It's a safe space for him to play and nap during the day. The playard mat is very soft and comfortable. The removable diaper changer is great because I live in a small apartment and I don't have the space for a separate changing table. The easy to wipe fabric comes in handy with a wiggly baby. Unfortunately, my baby is too big for the portable infant seat but that would have been convenient during the newborn phase. The modern design and neutral color blends nicely with my decor and the woodgrain looks classy and matches my wood floors. I like the idea of the free play door that will allow baby to go in and out when he's a little older; however I have issues with the zipper. It is very small for adult hands and difficult to unbuckle. Overall, I would recommend this playard because it will grow with baby all the way to toddlerhood. Thanks to Stellar Panel for providing me with this baby item.

MUST HAVE

cgreco15

I was given this baby item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This playard is fantastic! I love the luxorious feel of the fabric, yet its still neutral and super easy to clean, which is a must with infants who blow out their diapers ;) The diaper changer and the bassinet attachment are so convenient with a newborn. I like that I can leave this in a common area (the living room) and can easily lay baby down for a nap or change her diaper without having to leave the room. Its so helpful with multiple kids. I cannot wait for her to use the zip down side of the playard when she is older and mobile. But the shining star is the portable infant seat. Having this as part of something I already own is great! And it makes it easy to keep baby nearby when doing things like laundry or cooking dinner. I have her in sight and can help if she needs something, but am also able to get the rest of the things done.

Great features- looking forward to using them

This went together very easily and is very light to move around.

Best all in one pack and play!

I bought this for my new grandson and it is perfect for their historic 1906 three level row house! This is on the main living level so no need to go up steep stairs to change baby or for naps! It makes like so much more easy!!! Thanks Graco!!!

Versatile unit that you will use for everything!

Amazing all in one unit. We use this for everything!

Sturdy, really love the zip in bassinet, mattress material is very smooth and luxurious, and I love having the inclined sleeper seat, it’s so cuddly for a newborn.

I love this playyard

Anonymous

After years and years of using baby products with multiple little ones, I can honestly say this playard has impressed me more than most. Right now, I keep it downstairs to make life easier day-to-day, but it's also perfect for travel and will be a must-have when we are traveling again. The detachable seat has been a lifesaver while I'm recovering from surgery. I can keep baby close without constantly lifting them up and down out of different gear. I can just carry the seat with me, which is incredibly lightweight for what it is. The changing table is another favorite feature. No more scrambling for a couch cushion or blanket on the floor, the baby is right at the perfect height, and it's sturdy and easy to use. The fabric is incredibly soft, both on the seat and the playard itself. I don't even feel like I need to lay a blanket down first, which is saying something! And I love the overall look, the color scheme is stylish and blends in nicely with the house (a huge plus when baby gear tends to take over every room on every floor) One of the best parts is its versatility. When my toddler uses it, I unzip the side so she can climb in and out on her own, which is a huge help for me right now and makes her feel like she's making her own decision to get in. (And if you know anything about toddlers, you know that's half the battle.) Even the fold-up design is parent-friendly. Gone are the days of wrestling with 100 pieces to take apart a bassinet. Graco clearly designed this with busy parents in mind, and it shows. All in all, I'm loving this playard. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this out. It's practical, comfortable, easy on the eyes, and something I know we'll get years of use out of. Highly recommend for both newborns and toddlers, it really grows with your family.

  • Owner's positive experience after 3 months with the Close2Baby Lux Playard

We've been using it for 3 months and absolutely love it. The raised newborn seat has been a lifesaver, especially during the day when I need to keep an eye on him while I'm doing things. It's so easy to move around the house. The bassinet is also great for overnight. It's sturdy and I feel safe with him in it. The changing table is convenient, though we don't use it as much now. The whole thing is pretty big but it's worth it for the functionality. Definitely recommend.

  • Confirmation that the raised bassinet is safe for sleep

It's safe for sleep as long as you use it correctly. The bassinet is a firm, flat surface and it's attached to the playard. My baby has been sleeping in it since day one and she's now 4 months. No issues. The raised seat is great for during the day but I wouldn't use it for overnight sleep.

  • Comparison between the Seat Lux and other Pack n' Play models for newborn

I was torn between the Close2Baby Lux and the regular one with the reversible napper. I ended up going with the Lux because I liked the design and the raised seat seemed more useful. We've only had it for a couple weeks but so far so good. The bassinet is nice and big, and the changing table is sturdy. It is pricey though, but I found it on sale. The 'Soft Almond' color is really pretty in person.

  • Review highlighting mattress concerns and portability of the Close2Baby Portable Bassinet

I have the Close2Baby portable bassinet version. It's been great for travel. The only downside is the mattress pad is super thin and my baby didn't love it at first. We added a quilted sheet and that helped. Also the velvet material on the Lux version seems like it would get hot. But overall it's a good buy if you need a compact solution. I do wish the changing table area was bigger, but it works for quick diaper changes.
