Safety 1st Stove Knob Covers 5-Pack (Clear)
Safety 1st Clear View Stove Knob Covers are a set of 5 transparent plastic covers designed to prevent accidental burner activation by children. They fit most standard gas and electric stove knobs, installing by removing the knob, placing the cover over the post, and reattaching the knob. The hinged lid allows adult access, while the transparent design lets you see burner positions, though reviews indicate they should not be used on oven handles due to potential melting and may have durability issues with hinges over time.

Fit issue with small stove knobs, but alternative suggestion offered
I got the Safety 1st clear stove knob covers but the knobs on the stove are too small so the covers just spin around and my toddler can still turn the knobs. Someone else suggested taking the knobs off and putting them in a bowl on the counter when not in use.

Melting issue when used on oven door handles; not heat resistant enough
I used the Safety 1st clear stove knob covers on my oven door handles to childproof them, but when we broiled something the covers melted! They are definitely not heat resistant enough for that use. Now I just take the knobs off.

Easy to install and effective, but knob underneath can still be turned
I just bought the Safety 1st clear stove knob covers 5-pack. They were super easy to install by taking the knobs off, placing the cover over the post, and then putting the knob back on. The clear cover lets me see if the burner is off. But with the cover on, I can still turn the knob by spinning the cover, so I'm not sure it actually prevents my kid from doing it.

Broke after two months; switched to another brand
We bought the Safety 1st stove knob covers 5-pack and after about two months the little plastic hinge on three of them broke. I ended up buying a different brand that seems sturdier.
