At first sight, I would have to say “wow” about the color and design, it’s so nice and cool. This Baby Jogger city Go 2 car seat has good cushion and safety features to protect my baby, and it is easy to take off and wash the fabric. It does not hard to install into the car and easy to adjust. Absolutely love it!

I was able to test this with my newborn baby. The installation was easy and straightforward. Lightweight and my baby is snug as a bug in the seat. I do fear that my newborn will outgrow this seat pretty fast.

The City Go 2 car seat from Baby Jogger has been great so far. I was surprised at how lightweight it was when pulling it out of the box. I also liked that it was all assembled and ready to go right away. The base was a little trickier at first to figure out how to install using the provided latches and car latches. Using the should strap/belt was a little easier to figure out. I do really like the fact that you can also use the car seat without the base. This makes it really nice when traveling. Overall the car seat seems very sturdy and safe. We haven’t been able to try it with the stroller yet, but it seems like it would be very easy to move from one to the other and just “click-in” and go.

This car seat is a dream. The material is clearly heavy duty which is really nice for the every day wear and tear they receive while taking in and out of vehicles. I also appreciate how easy the base was to install. It has a large handle to clamp down the seatbelt and lock everything in, making it much easier than the ones with a little chunk of plastic to buckle down. It came well packaged in cardboard and a plastic sleeve keeping it nice and clean on the road to my house. I will most definitely be recommending this brand to friends and family. I feel this car seat offers the comfort and protection that a young baby needs and looks great doing it. Color isn't everything ,but we love this color. All around a very nice well designed car seat.

Yall, this seat is so nice. The quality is top tier. We have a new baby on the way soon and this could not have come at a better time. The padding feels so soft and comfortable. The inserts are going to be perfect for our newborn to hold them right in place safely. It is easy to put into the car without any fights. Not overly heavy like some seats can be which is great cuz carrying an infant seat is no joke! The straps were easy to adjust and get into place. I am so excited to have this and be able to use it for our new baby!

First off this car seat is perfect for a baby girl or a boy as the color is gender neutral. Baby boy or a girl is definitely going to be comfortable if you choose this car seat as the padding is a very nice quality. The straps and such are easily adjustable, and some padding can even be removed for when baby grows a bit. Installation is great and easy for on the go. I love how it provides UV protection as well. This is relatively easy to install; as easy as other carrier car seats. My daughter seems comfortable in the carrier. The buckles and clips are all secure and strong. From the photo, I anticipated this to be a dark colored carrier car seat but it's a light tan.

This is a super nice car seat. It has a ton of padding that feels very luxurious. The color is gender neutral and I like that. Installations was easy and standard clips. Straps were easy to adjust. I have not washed the covers yet so I don’t know how easy they are to remove. The car seat was a bit heavy but they always are. I feel comfortable that my baby will be safe in this seat.

Our first should be here next week and I’ve been so nervous trying to put together only the best, safest products based on recommendations and ratings etc. This has to be the highest quality out of anything we have collected.. it’s VERY sturdy and I love the sunscreen element. The padding is unlike any other we have looked at.. and it’s just beautiful. I have such piece of mind knowing that we will have a safe trip home from the hospital in this thing.. it’s already in the car ready to go. I’ll be getting the next version when she grows out of it. I can’t say enough how much I love this car seat! It’s incredibly easy to install and seamlessly transfers to my Baby Jogger City Go stroller. I also purchased the additional base for my car, but technically you don’t need it—making this seat super convenient for travel.

Solid car seat. I haven’t put a real baby in there yet (due in December) but the baby doll looks mighty comfortable. I had the uppababy mesa with my first and this one seems to be equal if not better. The shade cover is nice and big. The straps are easy to tighten and loosen. The infant insert seems very secure. The fabric also seems to be sweat wicking which is nice because the mesa was really hot. I can’t speak to how it installs in the car but when i do install it, I’ll try and come back and review that part as well. So far I’m impressed.

I wish I would have this seat for my first one. When baby is very small it needs more head support and the car seat has an amount that really makes me happy. I am 4 months pregnant and this car seat came at the perfect time. We used the Nuna pipa with my son and as we loved that car seat this one feels more luxurious and is clearly more expensive. I love the material of the car seat it feels soft and cushioned. I also like how the strap covers aren’t absurdly thick like other seats, these do the trick. The seat is comparable in weight to the Nuna pipa. We didn’t install the car seat yet but the instructions are very clear and it should be as simple as any other seat. We are having a girl this time so I’m SO excited about this color! We will also now be using this car seat instead of the pipa because I love the luxurious feel for my baby.

This has to be the most well-made infant car seat I’ve ever seen. That says a lot, coming from a mom of 4! The material is soft and plus, and it’s obvious that this seat is of higher quality than other similar brands of similar cost. Installation will be super easy with the latch system, and the straps adjust easily to fit your little one snugly and safely. This is an awesome brand and car seat.

I have the Uppa baby vista mesa v2 so in comparison the City Go is actually slightly less bulky and with the base it’s a pound less heavy. Sometimes you’re alone lugging your car seat around with or without your baby in it and the weight matters. I am a small person so every little bit helps. I am using this for my second baby who is yet to arrive and my first is too big for this but this feels and looks cushier. The one con is that this car seat is only used for the baby jogger stroller. Even the Nuna car seat has adapters that allow you to use it on the Uppa baby so I would love an option of having a better car seat that goes with a different stroller. Sometimes you need to switch up the systems so it’s nice to have options.

For starters this car seat is the gold standard! We have used other brands like Graco and Chicco and this Baby Jogger brand blows them out of the water! All of the components feel very high quality and the fabric is very comfortable. I specifically like the adjustability in the base as you can easily tilt it more or less to make it sit level inside the vehicle rear seat. I have this currently in my Toyota Tacoma and it’s find decent behind my driver seat. Only have scoot the seat forward a bit which is not too bad. Easy to unclick and remove from the car to carry inside or into a store. Would 100% recommend this infant car seat to any new parents out there!

One of the first things while searching for a carseat that I noticed is there's a spot in the back to strap your baby in without a base. I recommend this care seat based off of easy to use and install and safety. I don’t think it is the most comfortable for littles ones, but INO, safety is the most important factor, for this price point. The adjustments are easy to do and the padding is easy to remove and throw in the washing machine. I think the price is fair for the product. It is HEAVY! So if you have a bigger baby, this is not the car seat to be carrying around the store, etc. I Love this car seat. Having the removable base is amazing and so much easier. Value for the money is worth it and the car seat quality is great. Weight is to be expected for any car seat especially when a child's weight is added to it. The color is nice and ease of movement is great. Love the rocking ability on it to keep a child asleep for a short time.

We love our baby jogger! There was a bit of a learning curve since we didn’t read the instructions at first and it’s different from our other car seat, but once we did it’s fairly easy to install. We had an easy time removing the infant insert and I love that the head rest is easy to adjust and moves up and down. It seems much more comfortable than our other car seat. It’s also super cute (that shouldn’t matter but I’m obsessed lol). I love that you can adjust the angle as well! This car seat is well designed and soooo nice!

When I had my son I was gifted a chicco key fit car seat and stroller, it was very nice and luxurious but this baby jogger is as nice or possibly nicer. Worked great for 1.5 years but I took the cover off to clean and one of the side pieces was loose! Cant use anymore. Doesn’t expire for another 2-3 years : (((. Really disappointed. I know my child is basically ready for another seat but I was hoping to use this for the next kid

This is a great car seat for my baby. Not the best and most comfortable but still great. My baby is 5 months now. 15 lbs about 26 inches and fits just fine. I had to remove the infant insert around 2 months and he fit just fine. I think some peoples issues is they don't know how to remove the insert and make adjustments. I've also seen from pictures that some don't know how to strap their baby on properly. Its a shame many don't know how to properly use a car seat. I also agree that baby jogger should make adapters for other strollers.

Someone should put together some tips/highlights for the people that don’t read the manuals. Including tips like: the infant pads can be removed, the head rest has a slide/knob to adjust — just a few things I saw folks complaining about.

This car seat is amazing! We were in a terrible car accident (flipped car) and the car seat kept our little one safe. He came out of it perfectly fine. Just a minor bruise on his head. The car seat is in perfect shape. We’ll be getting this one as a replacement for sure!

The car seat base keeps getting loose. I have to continuously tighten and adjust the base straps because it gets wiggly, more than an inch! I regret buying this car seat, the base is poorly designed. The “easy lift lock” feature doesn’t work.

Spent almost a grand on the whole system which included a car seat and stroller. Unfortunately our newborn is almost two months and she’s already starting to outgrow the narrow space that this car seat provides. I looked all over the internet to see if there was another way to remove the current gray pads and add a more roomy cushion but unfortunately it doesn’t exist. So if you’re looking to throw money away then get this seat for your newborn and in 2-3 months you’ll be buying a whole new one. We’re so disappointed in this because it didn’t last us long at all. Such a waste of money. I really expected better from this brand!!

This car seat is an immediate upgrade from the Graco we used with our first kiddo. To the people who are reviewing this saying it’s to small, and showing pictures of the newborn insert still inside of it, I just have to shake my head. Read the directions and features and follow them and you will not be disappointed! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I wish there was a taper to the handle so toys and sound machines didn’t slide down the side of the handle. On the other hand, it is much longer than other car seats so it’s a trade off there. Otherwise, this seat is outstanding!

We had this car seat for my first son & used for 13 months. We loved the easy install without the base for Ubers/traveling & grandma’s car. The only things I don’t love about this car seat are: 1- it is not compatible with non-baby jogger strollers & 2- it is on the heavier side. Still, it is a really great car seat for a solid price. We bought the travel system on Amazon Prime deal for $499!

I use two for my twins and I loveeeee them! Hot too heavy, easy to get in and out of the car. It’s super easy to adjust the straps and my kiddos are sooo comfy. Literally no complaints.

My girl is 4 months, 16 lbs and who knows how long right now. She was getting a little tight as she got too big, and once I removed the bottom insert, she fits perfectly. Adjusting the headrest is great and allows it to be customized for her size as she continues to grow. The base makes it so easy to get her in and out of the car, and its very comfortable.

Light weight making it easy to carry. My baby fit comfortably at 6 lbs 11oz and it's been easy to make adjustments as she grows. I'm able to fit 3 accross in my vehicles with this carseat and 2 Gracco SlimFit carseats. The carseat is also compatible with my 2016 Baby Jogger City Select LUX stroller.

I love this car seat! Convenient and snaps into the stroller extremely easy to use and straps are easy to loosen and tighten. My baby is 26.5 inches long at 4 months and still fits so not sure what the other reviews are talking about. We took the infant insert out to add more room once he got bigger. My only complaint is that our son gets so warm in it. I have to crank up the ac or he will start sweating in this car seat!

Using it for my 8 week old, it’s been great, easy to install and click in. The thing I don’t like is clicking into the stroller , the adapters come off when you pull the car seat out, and sometimes it doesn’t come out easily. This is more of a problem with the stroller than the car seat tbh

I knew I wanted the baby jogger stroller so I thought I wouldn't complicate things and just get their infant car seat as well! Overall the carseat gets the job done but there are things that are annoying enough to make me give it a three star rating. Disclaimer: First time mom and some of my thoughts could just be a standard problem with most carseats. A few things I found to be not ideal with this carseat: - The head support at the top is very wide and I felt it did not support my newborn's head much at all. The smallest bumps would make it rock all over the place. - The pads that go up on their neck are not very plush so I am not sure it added much comfort. - The carseat itself felt bulky and pretty heavy and our arms are exhausted almost immediately. - Pulling the strap to tighten the harness is really hard to do. I have to brace myself to get it pulled tight and sometimes I have to have my husband to help get it tight enough. If these were improved this carseat would make a great product.

Brought my 4lb baby home in this car seat. Now she's 9 months, 28.5 inches long, and still fits great, though I'm sure in the next few months she'll reach the 32inch length limit. To the people having issues: Take out the infant insert!!! After 12 lbs it should be taken out! And adjust the headrest, in the rear of the car seat. My almost 16lb 28.5" baby still fits great, no problems with width or length. It worked great that my friend who needed a carseat for her second baby bought this carseat as well. We both have a baby jogger stroller as well. We have also traveled with it using the seatbelt to keep it in place, no problems. And no problems with the base moving whatsoever, my husband did a great job installing the bases in our cars.

I purchased this seat with the travel system. I love the base is so easy to install, and those saying it gets loose need to know that you have to readjust and tighten your base every month due to heat and cold..plastic fluctuates. Also, my son is 11 months and is 20lbs and about 30 inches and fits great! It's very roomy, so those saying it's too small need to remove the insert, and also should know that nothing except the baby in a thin outfit and maybe light sweatshirt are meant to be in the seat with the straps tightened. Anything that is not close to the body can't be worn and have the seat strapped safely. No coats, no buntings...none of that, just the baby's light clothes and then for warmth in winter, blankets over them and hats. It amazes me on how many of these reviews I see parents making comments and they're not installing, maintaining installation, or putting their children on this seat properly. I'm just flabbergasted! At any rate I love this seat and highly recommend it!

We asked for this car seat along with the city mini stroller as a travel system on our registry and don’t regret anything! We love the car seat and how safe it is. I think the customer below who had a negative review, did not realize we can adjust the head cushion height to grow with our babies! I too thought that my baby was squished and uncomfortable but after doing more research I found out you can extend the seat to grow! Overall this is a great product. It feels super secure and safe for my child. My old con is that when we compare it to the popular chicco car, seat, the chicco wins in terms of being more lightweight and easier to carry with baby in it. Other than that, baby jogger hands down.

My baby is only about 9 lbs and seems too big for this seat. Where the buckle attaches to the harness, the plastic protrudes into her legs and it's really difficult to snap. I even tried adjusting the buckle but it didn't help. The harness straps constantly twist. She hates it and I'm upset I invested in the system before reading more reviews.

My son is now 6 months, 18lbs and 26 inches long and does not fit into this seat. He is squished and uncomfortable. The seat is extremely hard toclick into the stroller connectors takes a lot of time and effort. I love the stroller, the car seat was a waste of money since I have to purchase a new car seat anyway and right now it’s rough family on my family to do so.

There are so many reviews on here saying it’s too small to fit their baby, my sister decided not to buy this carseat based on these reviews. I went back and read them because we don’t have this problem and there are people actually posting photos of their babies that are over the weight limit for the infant insert still using the infant insert so of course their baby would be squished! If you read the manual it says once your baby is passed 12lbs you MUST take out the insert. The head rest also lifts when they grow in height. My baby is 15lbs 14oz and 27in long and fits perfectly still. Read the manual and stop bashing this car seat when you’re not using it right!!

Not sure how these small babies are not fitting in the car seat. If they outgrow the insert, take it out. My son had the insert until he was 6-months or so and because he's a big baby we took out the insert. He used the car seat until he outgrew the weight and size limit which was around 15 months. Others had their babies in there longer because my friend's babies are smaller. The straps do get twisted and I wished there was a function where you can put the straps via magnet on the side so they don't always get lost and twisted. I'm petite and carrying a hefty baby with the car seat is not easy, but the overall weight of the carrier I'm sure helps with the safety of my LO. I'd rather it be built solid than be flimsy like some other car seats I've seen.

This is a wonderful car seat. For everyone saying that it’s too small, I’m curious if you read the manual. You have to remove the infant insert when they outgrow it. It makes the car seat way roomier. It’s a shame that so many people downvote this car seat. My daughter is a big baby and she fit in this car seat until she was 1. It’s crazy to me that so many people aren’t reading the instructions of the car seat that they’re putting their precious cargo in. Mind boggling.

We have had this carseat for our son from birth. He is now 8mo, but probably more like a 6mo in size (<5th %tile, weighed 14lbs at 6mo) and we finally caved to buying a normal/convertible carseat. He fusses almost every time we try to get him in this. The seat is so deep, especially without the body insert. The seat angles also seem severe, and it looks like such an unnatural seated position. We can't always get his butt to the bottom either when he fights it, which I worry makes it less safe.

Loved the fabric softness of the indigo blue liner and lightweight feel of this quality car seat. It's so easy to install!

The weight specs are completely wrong! My 5 month old son (15lb) is virtually growing out. Do NOT buy!

Like the car seat overall, but it does not work well for larger babies. My son is only 3 months old and weighs 15 lbs. He is very squished and uncomfortable in the seat now and, unfortunately, already needs a new car seat. We also have the Mini GT2 stroller and sadly he’s too little to ride in that without the infant adapter. Any recommendations on what to do in the meantime since he’s too big for the car seat, but still too small to ride normally in the stroller? Thank you!

I loved this car seat and stroller in the beginning but now that our girls are 16 pounds they were no longer fitting in this car seat. They seem so squished and so uncomfortable. These are very expensive and having to buy two of everything, we were hoping they would last awhile but already having to buy new car seats that wouldn’t even work with the stroller we spent a lot of money on.

I’ve been using this car seat for my baby from the ages of 0-11 weeks. At first we liked it. It’s high quality and has solid head support. But, at 11 weeks our baby who is WELL within the seat’s height (<32 in) and weight (<35 lbs) limits (he is 24 in and 13 lbs), has nearly outgrown the seat. We have thoroughly researched how to properly harness him with straps at or just below his shoulders and removed the newborn insert at the appropriate time, and the head support and straps are now at nearly the highest setting. The head support is raised above the highest point of the car seat shell, and our baby’s head is almost at the 1” from top of seat limit. Baby Jogger, what am I missing? There’s no way that my infant has outgrown the seat at 8 inches below the height limit! The published maximum height and weight cannot be correct. I’m extremely disappointed that I spent money on this product only to have to buy a new car seat after 11 weeks. The seat is also heavy and we found it somewhat difficult to install.

This car seat worked well for the first few months. I like that you have the option to use a base or to not use it. Also, it easily clips into the compact stroller. However, my baby quickly outgrew it and car rides have been miserable. She gets very hot and is squished in the seat so she is uncomfortable. I need to purchase a new car seat already.

I really loved this car seat as I thought it would last me a long time, and even bought 2 bases and the stroller. But after 3 months my daughter is miserable in this seat - she has run out of room and is uncomfortable, as it’s way to small (& she gets super hot). There is no way the size and weight is correct, as she is 14lbs and 25inches and already has outgrown this seat that should have lasted us many more months. Car rides are awful because of this seat, but I spent so much money on it, that I don’t want to give up using it.

I received this 5 months ago for my newborn, and was satisfied for the first 2-3 months but now it is showing the flaws and how terribly constructed it is. I would not recommend this seat, quality is terrible.

received this as a baby shower gift and was very excited based on baby jogger reputation. but have aince been very disappointed - first off, the amt of instruction and guidnave on how to safely get baby in seat is astonishing. The lack of company issued/sponsored videos or help forums to understand the instructions is amazing to me. as a first time mom, safely getting my baby jn this seat is top priority and i feel like BJ did not allow parents to be set up for success at all.

We are happy with our purchase. 1. I read negative reviews about height at shoulders, but our baby is 95 percentile height and we had no issues, just gave to increase the height in the back. 2. Although can be used easily without a base, it is safest to use with a base. If seatbelt is not snug when used without a base, seat tipped over. If seatbelt is snug when used without a base, we had no issues. 3. Easy to use with the base in car and with baby jogger stroller. 4. Light weight

Nice padding, baby fits comfortably, and it feels lightweight when lifting it from the car to put on the stroller base. Works well with the city mini stroller.

I wanted to like this car seat (got it in blue!) but I just can’t deal with it’s many design issues. 1. It’s extremely heavy even before putting my baby in. My little girl is almost 15 lbs now and I feel like I’m lugging a whale, lol. It might be better if the design was less cumbersome—but there is simply no comfortable way to carry this. 2. The inserts are very ridged and have squished my baby from the beginning. Now that she’s 4 months we have taken out the infant insert so it’s a bit better, but now she’s almost too long. 3. The straps are constantly twisting and I have to untwist them almost every time I use this. To tighten or loosen them, you need 3 hands—which you can imagine is impossible when I’m not with my mom or husband. I would say that the quality of materials is very good and I really love my baby jogger stroller. I’m just disappointed in the car seat!

I bought the entire City Jogger Deluxe Double Travel System thinking the car seats would last until around a year, based on the 32 inch limit. Our twins are now 7 months old & 15lbs (they were 2 months premature), & are already smashed & uncomfortable in the car seats. There is no room in the leg area &, even though we’ve adjusted it every way possible, they’re constantly squirming trying to get comfortable. The weird thing is that the jogging seats that came with the travel system are significantly larger. Having to buy two of everything is costly as it is & a travel system for twins is an investment. I was really hoping to love this product but it just seems like a waste of money (with covid our usage is already light). Looks like I’m already back to the drawing board for the entire she-bang.

I have a naturally small frame and I’m only 4’11”, so the thought of carrying around a huge car seat + a baby was daunting for me. I literally walked around baby stores with a weighted baby doll until I found one I could carry. I was also not going to give up safety and protection for a car seat being lightweight. Another feature I love is how easy it is to adjust the straps by pinching the buttons on the back. Babies are constantly growing, so to not have to rethread the seatbelt (and fear you did it wrong) is so nice. The stroller is so compact and fits nicely in the trunk of my compact car. It is so easy to fold (literally can do it one handed with a baby on the hip).

I’ve been really impressed with my city go car seat and stroller system. The car seat is made of high quality material. I wish I would have bought this car seat for my first two kiddos and not waited until my last baby! We’ve been using this car seat for 6 months now and I get lots of compliments on it!

I purchased this car seat with no prior research partly due to being in Buy Buy Baby and the sales associate being the car seat to my attention and making an last minute decision and partly due to the fact that it was so new it wasn’t on my radar and there were no reviews other than incentivized ones. When I was in store I had 2 other brands in mind that I was torn between and I did plenty of research on but when speaking with the BBB sales associate and trying out, aka holding the car seats with a weight in them, I was still unsure of what I wanted. When the sales associate mentioned baby jogger came out with a carrier I was in intrigued because I was looking into their stroller system as MY possible stroller system. So what did I do, I took to the internet in store to try to find reviews on what other parents were saying, did they love it, like it, hate it? Come to find out the carrier has just come out and there were no reviews posted other than incentivized ones. I really was torn, should I get a carrier I had very little information about or settle on another one? Well I got it, I loved all the features! Non retread straps, European taxi belt path, easy adjustable headrest and it was all at a great overall weight! Honestly I freaking loved it but now baby is close to 4 months old and she is close to out growing it. I really thought that this was going to last until the was close to a year maybe even longer based on height and weight charts. This is pretty disappointing because the car seat was not cheap either and for the amount of money paid you would think you would get to enjoy all those lovely features for an extended amount of time not for the first 3-4 months.

I bought this car seat for our new baby who is now 3 months old. The warning label is rubbing off the hair on the back of her head and it is almost too small for her. I have washed it once and it looks old I feel like for as much money we spent on it would have lasted way longer.

Looks waaaay better in person, materials look super good quality and sturdy. I'm excited to be able to use it soon.

I bought this capsule, along with the baby jogger stroller - love the stroller but the car seat was unfortunately a disappointment. My baby struggled to be comfortable past 24 inches, and has now outgrown at 26inches. Sit specifications mention 32 inches, but I can’t see how unless my child hangs half out the seat. Head rest is at maximum height. This seat is also extremely hot when in the car, doesn’t work well for Aussie summers. I purchased thinking this would last us until at least 10 months, and have now had to purchase another seat. I love your brand, and it’s many products, however this one is a regretful purchase.

I bought the set with the stroller and my grandson is only 10 pounds and very small yet the Bottom t strap will not give and it squashes him in when we finally get it buckled. We have tried and tried to adjust it and it just wont budge.

The product is fairly easy to use and quite stylish for the price. The sun awning was a must, however black is harder in the summer, it gets too hot. The headrest is adjustable (up and down), but you cannot remove it, so if your babes head is on the larger side its gets a bit snug the older they get. Still can't figure out how to clean the outer material (annoying), also finding specific instructions on how to do anything online seems harder than it should be.

I got it has a gift for my new baby and it doesn’t stay in place and it’s hard to get out the base it’s to the point I leave it in the car

My girlfriend recommended this brand. We got this carseat and the city mini gt and have LOVED them since day 1. The carseat has worked wonderful for our daughter and is much lighter and more comfortable to carry then one my sister has for her child (different brand). Its easy to use and I like that you can use it w/o the base if you need to do so.

I got the travel system. When my baby was born the car seat was fine. She is now 4 months old and it is way too small for her. She hates it. Every time I try to put her in the car seat, she starts crying. I tried with a car seat from Chico and my daughter is fine with that. Also, the straps doesn’t stay locked when you set up the base. I took it to the fire station to see if I do something wrong but nothing changed. Would definitely return it if I could!

I can no longer pull the straps tight. Need to buy a new car seat now. Total disappointment. Wish you guys would replace this pile of junk. Fabric is junk - all pilled up

My son is now 5 months, 16lbs and 25 inches long and does not fit into this seat at all. He looks terribly squished and uncomfortable. I was gifted a beautiful bunting that I can't even use because there is no room to spare for my LO. The straps are impossible to adjust one handed and they always seem to get twisted. The seat is heavy and takes some finessing to click into the stroller connectors. Also every few weeks we have to readjust the base because it comes loose. I can't imagine anyone using this for up to a year. Although I love the stroller, the car seat was a waste of money since I will have to purchase a new car seat anyway.

This product worked well for the first few months, but now that my son is 3 months and taller, he’s squished in, even with the headrest adjusted to its tallest setting. When we put him in now, he screams and looks super uncomfortable. His head also fits super snug in the headrest at just 3 months. This is a huge bummer, as it’s not worth the price for 3 months of use. We will have to buy a different car seat.

My son is 1 years old now and he still fits this seat fine, however the straps are near impossible to tighten. They tighten just fine when he is not in the seat, but when he is in it, forget it. I am unable to tighten them, my husband can't mange it either, so we have to just leave it set and wrestle his little arms in pre-tighten straps every time. I bought this as a set with the stroller, love the stroller, but I wish I would have just gone with a different brand seat.

We are loving this car seat. It is easy to install and use without the base, using the seat belt, or with the base, using our car’s latch system. The increased safety features of the seat, like the anti-rebound bar, are much appreciated We also (really!) love the extra quiet canopy. Too many a car nap has been disturbed thanks to a loud canopy in the past! The seat is soft and well-cushioned and every part that touches baby, including the straps and the buckle, are padded to protect baby. The only downside for us is the total length. In our car, it has proven to be a bit of a space hog, requiring us to move the seat in front of it up several inches. However, all the other features of this car seat make it worth the lost leg space for that seat. We like the car seat so much, we are thinking about buying one of the Baby Jogger strollers, with which to use it. I am a first-time mom and I have used this car seat for my newborn for the last 2 weeks it. The City GO 2 infant Car Seat is a great option for traveling since you can use it without the base. I did not use this feature as I have only used it in my own car; I used the belt option instead of the latch per my car manual’s specifications. It’s easy enough to attach and remove the car seat from the included base. The anti rebound bar gives me peace of mind. I really love the fabric but would prefer a more feminine color option. One downside is that the stroller and adapters are sold separately instead of all together as a travel system. I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I always have my husband install car seats because I get so frustrated and never feel like I do it properly or tight enough, but I took this on myself and it was very easy! I actually felt like I could get it tight enough which I have never been able to do before. I didn’t try installing it without the base, but that’s a nice feature if we ever need to use it in a taxi or ride share. Some of the part names used in the instructions were hard to decipher but the numbered pictures helped explain what they were referring to. I really liked how easy the buckle was to fasten. I’ve had other car seats that are really nice, but there’s so much fabric around the buckle that it’s impossible to fasten without the fabric getting stuck. That’s never fun with a wiggly, fussy baby! The UPF 50 shade is also a nice feature!

This seat was so easy to install even in my older vehicle, I dont have a latch system in my car so installing a car seat securely can be hard. With the quick locking system I knew that my child was secure. The adjustability of base meant that I was able to get the seat completely leveled which can be hard when the seats in your car dip down in back it's always a struggle to make car seats level without having to add rolled blankets underneath. My favorite thing about this car seat was that I could adjust height without rethreading, the slide lever in the back made adjustments super simple. Thanks to the amazing Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was given the City GO 2 Infant carseat to test. From the start, the carseat was user friendly and very easy to install. My favorite feature is the easy harness adjustment. Other carseats require to uninstall and rethread the harness but the City GO 2 has an quick tab to suppress and move. My other favorite feature was the location of the carseat release lever from the base. It was easy to access at the head of the carseat compared to the foot. This is especially helpful when getting out of the car while managing the carseat and a 2 year old. The anti-rebound bar added stability to the base, which gave me a peace of mind. I have worried about past carseat safety levels when the base can shift up and down even when tighten to the seat. One negative aspect of the carseat was it is longer in the car once installed with the base. Since it is longer, my husband complained about having less leg room in the front seat. Another drawback for me is the carseat was harder to carry being a petite woman at 5'1". I struggled to comfortably carry the carseat in and out of stores due to the longer handle forcing me to carry it on my arm. Overall the City GO 2 carseat has great safety features and very user friendly.

This is by far the easiest car seat to install. The infant insert was perfect for my preemie, soft yet snug enough to keep her little body safe. The handle is the perfect length to have in any of the positions in our van. #stellarproducttestingpanel

I want to start by Thanking the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat, you guys rock! My first thought when I took the carseat out of the box was wow, its boy ish! I have twin girls but I still wanted to give this carseat a fair chance, boy am I glad I did! (No pun intended!). One feature of the carseat that I appreciated that it starts at 4 pounds! (Our babies were 4 pounds when we left the hospital so I know how important this feature is). As I used the carseat more I appreciated how easy it was to loosen/ tighten the straps. I could easily adjust the straps between the two girls or more importantly when they had a jacket on or if they didn't. I LOVED that the strap was not very long. With our other carseats the strap would end up dangling on the floor and since the girls are teething…Yup, you guessed it, right in there mouth it would go, eww! I was happy to see this was not a problem with this carseat. Additionally, it felt light to carry and I loved how tall the handle was. I never felt like I was going to hit my babies head on it as I took them out. I found it very easy to raise the headrest (a button in the back) and how snug my babies looked in it. I enjoyed the rapid lock design. The idea is so smart and definitely easier when you need to install two car seats. The Anti-rebound bar helped keep my little ones even more safe that is definitely a plus! It was SUPEReasy to use in my car with the rapid lock and go. It took me seconds to install. I also tried the taxi-safe belt and though I found it easy and simple to use, I still found it a little awkward and harder to use than the car seats we have now. I felt that this is an amazing carseat for someone who has two cars but only wants to have one base since is so easy to install. It's also good for someone without a car since the taxi-safe belt is easy to use. Overall though, I do not love the style of the carseat. It has a hefty price tag and for that kind I money I want to make sure I think it's pretty! However, if safety and easy installation are you number one priority then this carseat may just be what you are looking for.

This car seat is a great choice for anyone looking for a nice, safe, sturdy infant seat. The car seat itself is designed well. There is a thick infant padding that provides so much cushion for the baby without being too much. The canopy is nice and big, and does a great job keeping baby warm and dry if you're caught out in the rain. The car base installs easily, and it's not a hassle trying to remove the seat. The seat is also very simple to install without the base. The only negative we found with the seat, is that the carrying bar gets caught up on the canopy when you shift the seat to carrying position. It's a bit frustrating to deal with, especially if you're on the go. Overall, besides that, this seat is great. The Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with the opportunity to test an infant seat (for free!) at the perfect time. My six month old had just been diagnosed with plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and had been fitted with a helmet. One problem: his helmet wouldn’t fit into the headrest of his old infant seat. When this car seat showed up on my doorstep not a week later, the first thing I thought was, “check the headrest!” Thankfully, there is plenty of room for my little guy’s big head and helmet. The seat was easy to adjust for baby’s height. The buckles weren’t difficult to adjust and lay flat when tightened. My baby seemed comfortable in this seat. The fabric seems like it would clean up well. I like how the carry handle is thinner in diameter. I have small hands, and this is easier for me to grip. The base was easy enough to install. The directions were clear. I like the anti-rebound bar. It makes for a very tight base installation. When I go to click the car seat into the base in my van, I have had to double check that the seat is latched completely into the base. It might just be me, but after dropping the seat into the base and hearing a click, the seat still moved a bit in the base, I had to push down on the foot of the car seat to make sure that end was latched (another click). I don’t think it reflects negatively on the car seat at all. It’s just different enough from those I’ve used in the past, that I wanted to mention it. Baby Jogger advertises a large canopy on this seat, and they did not exaggerate. It’s huge. I (and my husband) both had a hard time moving the carry handle back from the upright position, past where the canopy connects to the seat sides, and down below to stabilize the seat. It’s not a deal breaker, though. Another issue I had, and it might be only me, was with the fabric seat cover attachments near where the canopy attaches on either side of the seat. The cover is held on at these points by flat pieces of plastic that fit behind the plastic seat edge. I’ve seen this method used successfully in other car seats we’ve used over the years. For whatever reason, when I first unpacked and looked the seat over, I noticed these plastic pieces weren’t fitting where they were supposed to. I could fit them it their proper position, but they didn’t stay in place long because they were bent. It must have happened during packaging or shipping. However, it doesn’t affect the function of the car seat, as the canopy bar attachments hold the seat cover on at these points. I probably wouldn’t have noticed this issue if I hadn’t been really looking the seat over. Overall, I like this seat, and think the installation and buckling is as easy or easier than any other seats I’ve tried. I’m happy to use it, and am really looking forward to connecting it to my trusty Baby Jogger City Select double stroller (purchased by me and used for three years now), as this family of five tries to keep up with our busy lives

The City GO 2 Infant Car Seat is a well tested, well designed infant car seat that checks all of my boxes. It has an anti-rebound bar as an extra safety feature for a frontal collision, which is something I have not seen in many other car seats. The car seat took less than 10 minutes to install from the time I opened the instructions to the time it was ready to use. I used the base in my car since it is the car my little boy primarily travels in, but it is nice to know that there is a simple way to install the car seat in another vehicle without a base if needed. The level on the base reassured me that that base was installed correctly, based on my baby's weight. The car seat is very light and easy to carry. Both the body support insert and the car seat itself feel very comfortable and well padded. I also really like the comfort of the shoulder strap pads as well as the buckle strap cover. One of my favorite features is the canopy, which is very large, provides sun protection (UV 50+), and is designed to block outside noises. The only negative I have found is that it can be difficult to move the handle to each of the different positions, especially when the canopy is down. The buttons to move the handle seem smaller than ones on other car seats and the handle seems to get hung up on the canopy as it moves. Overall, the City GO 2 is a comfortable, well designed infant car seat with all of the features you could want plus more. First time mom here and I know how overwhelming it can be to decide on the best car seat for your little one. You want a car seat that is safe beyond anything, but also easy to use, because if you can’t install the seat properly or strap your little one in properly, then it kind of renders the product as useless. So now let’s talk about the City GO 2 infant car seat. I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When I took it out of the box I absolutely loved the design of the seat itself. It is very sleek and I loved all the padding inside on the head support as well as the body support insert. The seat comes with buckle strap covers which is a nice extra touch to make baby comfy in the seat. I really like knowing that this seat is safe and even on there it states "side impacted tested". The canopy is large and has UV50 protection, as well as moves quietly so that when you are adjusting it, you won’t wake a sleeping baby. My one issue with the canopy is that because it is so large it tends to get stuck on the handle bar. When I was using the canopy I had to push it down a little bit to get it to go under the handle bar. Same thing when I was moving the handle bar, it would get stuck on the canopy, especially when canopy wasn’t in use and I wanted the handle bar in the stationary position. But honestly that isn't a deal breaker for me. Adjusting the seat so that my little one was placed in there properly and securely was a breeze! First I took out the body support because it is only to be used for babies 12lbs and under and my little one is past that weight. Next I needed to adjust the harness height, which you do by adjusting the head support height. No need to re-thread harness, adjusting is simple and easy with the adjustment buttons on the back of the car seat, just squeeze the buttons and move it up or down to the correct harness height. You cannot adjust with baby in the seat so I had to put him in and take him out a couple of times before I got the correct height for him. After that I placed my baby into the seat I buckled him in and easily tightened the straps by pulling on the adjuster strap. So easy and no frustrating hassle of re-threading anything! Now the base for the car seat has awesome safety features! It has anti-rebound bar which provides an extra layer of safety if you are in an accident. When I went to go install the base it was so quick and easy! The latch connectors easily hooked on to the latch anchors in my car, I got them hooked on the first try! Also the level indicator is so easy to read, there was no second guessing myself. When I first put the base in, the bubble showed me that the base needed to be adjusted and I easily raised the foot base (there are 4 recline positions) and got the bubble in the in the correct position. That was the only adjustment I needed to do and once everything was correctly locked in I was ready to put my baby in the car! The seat went easily in and you could hear the click that meant the seat was securely attached. It was also quick and easy to get the seat out of the car as soon as you find the release handle located at the rear of the car seat. The other awesome feature of this seat is the taxi safe seat belt; for those days you don’t have your car and you need to take a taxi or ride share you don’t need to take the base with you! I tested out installing the seat without the base in my car just to get a feel for how difficult it would be. I’m happy to report it was pretty easy once you knew how to do it. I did it twice because the first time around the seat belt did get a little twisted, but once I saw my mistake I was able to redo it and securely get the seat in. This infant car seat is amazing! Easy to install, easy to adjust, and my baby gets to ride in style, while I have peace of mind knowing my baby is safe riding in the car.

Im so impressed with this car seat in so many ways, the first thing I noticed when I removed it from the box was the adjustable head rest and how easy it was to use, then I went to install the base and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was, and you know its secure when the bar clicks gives me a piece of mind that its safe, and I love how light the car seat itself is, some seats are extra heavy and hard for new moms to carry with baby in it but this one is perfect weight. I also like the fact that if you are traveling you have the option to secure the seat belt without the base and if you have ever traveled with a infant you know how aggravating it is to have to lug around the base and the car seat. My baby will be so comfy with the soft padding and the head support. I would give this car seat 10 stars if I could. Im so happy that I received this car seat to test from Stellar Product Panel.

I was given this car seat to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it could not have arrived at a better time. Our car broke down right as we were rushing to get a very hungry baby home to eat. The baseless installation is 7 easy steps. It was refreshing knowing we could quickly pop the car seat into a new car without having to uninstall and reinstall the base (which is 14 steps). While the canopy is very quiet (our baby slept right through moving the canopy up and down), it is not attached to the back of the seat. This means when you roll it back, you could end up pushing it all the way down to the ground. Not a huge problem in your house, but if you're on the street or somewhere else messy/dirty/wet, the canopy will drag through that.

We are using the City Go 2 Infant car seat as a second carseat in my husbands car. I would probably switch it to the main car seat in my car if we had a Baby Jogger stroller, as the City Go 2 is much lighter, more comfortable than my current car seat and the straps and headrest are MUCH easier to adjust. The base installation was super easy (we used the LATCH straps) and I was able to get a very secure fit by myself whereas I feel like normally it is a two person job. I love the generous sunshade/canopy, but the only downfall is that the big canopy gets in the way of moving the handle to the carrying position and back down, while although annoying isn't a deal breaker. I received this infant car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and will definitely be using it until my baby grows out of it.

The step by step instructions provided in both English and Spanish were easy to follow and I found the pictures to be the most helpful especially when determining how to assess the base foot adjustment to ensure it is level (according to baby’s weight). I used the latch hooks in my car as I do not plan to take him in a taxi, however should you need to, there is a taxi safe belt path for a base less install! The only dislikes I found were that the carrier does not easily detach from the base. I tried several times and found you need to really assert some force in pushing the release and pulling it off. This infant seat in Slate is super sleek looking and love how light it is. The RAPIDLOCK base installation is amazing. Sharing a base between two vehicles is a breeze, because you literally lift, click and your base installation is done. Plus with the rebound bar, the car seat doesn't move. The seat can go up to 35 pounds so I can use it a bit longer than my previous infant carrier, plus it will click into my Baby Jogger stroller. I love that the head rest adjusts, versus the removable pillow that comes with other brands. The only thing I did not care for with this car seat was the carrier handle felt awkward to carry with it just being a straight flat bar. Not enough of a deal breaker not to use the seat though. The City GO 2 Infant Car Seat is a sleek, sturdy car seat that’s a breeze to install! I was able to install it in literally 2 minutes using the LATCH system and the different recline positions make it easy to level. The square shape of the handle is slightly larger than I’m used to which actually made it a snap to get my son in and out. I loved that the canopy smoothly opens and closes without making noise - key for adjustments when the baby is sleeping - and I really liked that it provides sun protection! We did find that the canopy looks a bit messy when not in use, but the super smooth, quiet action made up for this. The fabric inside the seat easily wipes clean, is super soft, and feels very high end. This seems small but we also really appreciated the grippy, non-slip coating on the handle; I felt more confident carrying my son around on a rainy day because I had a sure grip on the handle. I received this Baby Jogger City Go 2 infant car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel to test out and leave an honest review. My first thought when I took this product out of it's box was wow its kinda big. As I sat back and observed it and its features all while familiarizing myself with it, I noticed right out of the box it had a flaw. The canopy was crooked and was in the box that way so it will always be slightly crooked. As I went to adjust the car seat carrying handle I could not move it to the up position because of the canopy end sticking out. After some readjusting and frustrations, I was able to move the handle. I then lifted it, without the baby, to get an idea of how light it would be. It is not what I would consider to be heavy just bulky. Once I add my 15lb. daughter to it, it would be heavy. I went to place my baby in the car seat to see see what she thought; I quickly realized I would need to adjust some more stuff because it was tight for my 4 month old baby. It stated on the product information cards that the infant support was adjustable and was able to do so one handed- I found that to be very difficult. I have bad carpal tunnel and this was very difficult for me to do alone. I installed the base into my van using the latch system. Not really knowing how to do so, that is what instructions are for, it didn't take very long to install. I then tested out the baby in the car seat, this required some minor adjustments to the car seat. I had to remove the infant support padding and adjust the head rest and straps which seemed complicated until I realized it was not. I buckled baby in and she seem to enjoy the seat. The car seat is a lot heavier than the one I had been using before. My main irritation is the canopy and carry handle get in the way of one another and make it frustrating to adjust either one. Also, changing the position of the handle is really difficult for my hands and requires a lot more pressure on both sides simultaneously to move. Overall: Good comfortable car seat with nice added touches. I would only recommend it to someone who had the money to spare, I looked up the price of this particular car seat after my observations and review and decided it is not a price I would pay.

Wow! I am extremely impressed with the City GO 2 infant car seat. We’ve been using it for 5 days now and I have not one complaint. The car seat is very lightweight with a soft grip handle. I can actually hold the car seat (with baby in it of course) without using my other hand to help carry the weight. The base was beyond easy to install. My husband and I always dread installing bases because it can be so hard sometimes but not with the City GO 2. Stick the base on the seat of you car, push a latch button to pull up to insert your car seat seatbelt, stick your seatbelt in and adjust to tighten, buckle seatbelt and push bar back down. Literally that was all and we were done. Loved that the base adjusted to 6 positions to make sure it stays level. The bubble indicators made it very easy to ensure this as well. The anti rebound bar definitely makes the base seem more secure which gave us an extra level of security. The base really wouldn’t budge and my husband was really trying. There is an option to use this seat without the base too which comes in handy for our family when my husband or parents want to drive baby somewhere. We’ve used it once in my husbands truck and it couldn’t have been easier. The seat belt just threads around the car seat and into the special taxi belt path, done! It was so easy and still secure. Really loved how comfy baby is in the car seat. The cushioned seat is very padded and soft. He seems very snuggly in it. We are currently using the seat with the infant insert but will take out soon as baby continues to grow. Love that this seat will fit him for a while. He’s pretty tall for 6 months but still has and will have plenty of leg room. My favorite feature is that the seat reclines so when baby falls asleep in car (which is every time), we can recline seat to actually lay him down without disturbing him. The canopy is also a favorite feature as it is so quiet when putting up and down, a lot of other car seats I’ve used have been so loud and can really disturb baby. I love it! I actually love everything about this system and will be asking for the stroller for Christmas. I’d say this is a must have if you’re looking for a infant car seat. Amazing! I really really like this seat, for a few reasons. It was super easy to install. Once my son was in it, he looked super comfy and while we were out, he fell asleep easily in it. The insert cushion is perfect. Highly recommend this seat. Also it's pretty lightweight, has a UV protector shade, and easy to use buckles. I received this through the Stellar product panel.

My husband and I would like thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this infant car seat. The City GO 2 Infant Car Seat honestly makes taking baby anywhere a possibility! One of my favorite features of this car seat is the taxi-safe belt path. My husband and I are always on the go and we love that we can hop in an Uber and we take baby girl without having to lug a car seat base around. It was also very helpful when we had to have a family member pick up our daughter from daycare last minute but they didn’t have the base. I also LOVE the head rest in this seat! It is so durable and the material covering it is very soft and breathable for baby. And you can adjust it without having to rethread the harness which is a huge plus in my book! My daughter looked very comfortable in this seat. The canopy is UV50 which is a feature that I truly appreciate. We live in Texas and baby is exposed to the sun on a daily basis. Being able to protect her from the sun while we were driving, running errands and out to eat has been amazing. The material of the canopy is thick and keeps it dark and quiet for when she is sleeping. The base does install quickly. The biggest downside I had was that even with the base installed and the seat belt adding extra tension, the base did still move slightly from side to side. But other safety features like the anti-rebound bar on the base did provide an extra sense of reassurance in regards to safety. Overall, I would hands down recommend this car seat. We do not have the baby jogger stroller but are now looking into purchasing so we can have the complete travel system.

The City GO 2 Infant Car Seat is a perfect fit for our busy life with our little one. It is stylish, easy and convenient to use, and we feel very reassured that our son is safe, secure, and comfortable while riding in the car and also when we use the seat as part of a travel system in our stroller. The carseat is thoroughly padded and we love the headrest which supports the baby's head very well. The carseat base was easy to install into my SUV, I'd say it took me less than 10 minutes to read the directions and get it installed properly and securely! One of my favorite features is the large, UV50+ canopy that keeps the sun off baby's face. I also love the taxi-safe belt path for securing the carseat when we are traveling and don't have our own car. I have no complaints about this car seat! I was very excited to try out the City Go 2 infant car seat! It has a very sleek design and looks very high quality. The material of the infant inserts and shoulder strap covers are so soft and my baby looked so comfortable all strapped in. Even the crotch buckle is padded for extra comfort! I liked that the shoulder straps are less bulky then ones I’ve seen on other car seats. There are so many features that my other infant carseat doesn’t have. I really loved the quiet canopy! My 5 month old is always falling asleep in the car and with the cold, wet weather I try to cover her with the canopy when getting out to run errands. My other car seat would constantly wake her but this canopy is so quiet that she sleeps right through. The only thing I don’t like about the canopy is that the handle bar gets caught on it and makes it extremely difficult to move the handle into different positions. However, the height of the handle bar is tall enough that you can easily buckle in the baby and take her out without needing to move it out of the way. I really liked that feature of this car seat over my old one. It’s so spacious! With space does come weight, though. I did find that this car seat was heavier and a little more awkward to carry around then I was used to. Luckily, it was able to click into a stroller that I already have so I don’t have to carry it around much. My favorite feature of this car seat was the head rest and straps. Instead of unthreading the straps to adjust to the proper height as your baby grows, you can pinch and drag a knob on the back of the car seat and it moves the headrest and the straps to the desired position. Though it’s convenient, I did think the design could be better executed as it takes some muscle strength and 2 hands to guide the knob up and down. Installing the car seat is extremely easy. When using the LATCH system, I was able to get a tight, level, and secure install in less than 2 minutes. The clips that attach to the LATCH bars are so easy to click off and on unlike other seats I’ve used in the past. Once they are clipped on you just tighten the slack in the belt and close the rapid lock anti rebound bar and you have a nice tight install. Installing the base using the seatbelt straps was a little more difficult in my car than it was using LATCH. However, after a couple practice installs I quickly got the hang of it and I really love the ease and convenience of having the rapid lock feature. It took me 2 minutes to securely install the base! Adjusting the straps iz as easy as moving it up and down in the back without undoing any straps! Baby fit perfectly in the seat. Also love the canopy design. Its thick material to keep sun and rain out and darkens it for when baby is sleeping. Wonderful car seat would and WILL recommend over and over again!

I love our Baby Jogger City Go 2 infant car seat that we received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I love how comfortable and secure my daughter looks in it. The car seat was simple and quick to install and it is so easy to get the seat secured into the base and remove it to get out of the car. I am also a huge fan of the anti-rebound bar on the base of the seat which provides me with peace of mind if we were ever in an accident. I love the oversized sunshade. It blocks the sun from getting in my daughters eyes while we are driving and protects her from getting wet when it is raining. The sunshade glides quietly and easily into position so it never scares or wakes my daughter when I put it up. Finally- I’m thankful that the infant seat will fit my daughter until she’s 35 pounds or 32” long - we will get a lot of use out of this seat!

I recently received the City GO 2 carseat as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. I love this carseat! I don't live in the city, but it's still perfect. When I took an uber or ran a quick errand with a family member I was able to quickly put this carseat in without the base! Such a genius idea. The design is so sleek and I love the infant insert. My baby is so snug in there! I only wish I had it when she was a newborn (shes 2 months). Keep in mind it's a little bulkier than other brands, but it doesn't bother me and I'm 4'11! I would reccomend this to every new mom or mom to be!

After receiving the City 2 Go Car Seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel I have to say I was very pleased! After receiving the car seat I read the easy to follow instructions and installed the base into my vehicle with ease! It secured into place without any issue and I felt as though it was more than secure enough for my two and. Half month old! I really love the anti rebound bar as it makes me feel as though my daughter has another level of safety measures when traveling with her! My husband loved that he was able to use the taxi-safe belt path for his vehicle because it gives him another safe option to use without having to install a base into his car because he constantly has our dogs in and out of his vehicle as well! Although all of these features were very important to use I have to say the extra large canopy might be my favorite feature! I noticed that my daughter was less bothered by the sun because she had such great protection with the canopy!! The only negative I can see is that because it is so slender and sleek our daughter may grow out of it a little faster! This, however, isn’t a huge deal to us because we do love all of the safety and convenience features previously mentioned!

I'll start off by saying that I received this car seat to test and review from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but it in no way has affected my review of this car seat. This car seat is an overall, great car seat. I absolutely loved the anti rebound bar, its probably my most favorite feature on a car seat ever. The handle is oddly tall, but carrying it is extremely easy. I was concerned it would be too tall for me (I'm only 5'3) but it's just fine. My biggest pet peeve of carrying car seats is when the handle cuts into my arm, this car seat doesn't do that at all! It's so nice to carry! The base was super simple to hook in, which is great because we switch between cars pretty often so we're always moving the car seat base around. I loved the over-sized hood with the UV protection, it's awesome to be able to just use the hood for sun cover compared to trying to put a cover over top of my baby, which living in a very hot state, isn't the best option for me. With that being said there were some aspects of the hood I didn't like. The main dislike being that the over-sized hood is just that: Over-Sized. You really have to squish the hood in to be able to move the handle, it doesn't fit between the handle at all. I pinched my fingers multiple times trying to mess with the hood and handle together. The hood would be better off skinnier so it could fit under the handle better. My only other complaint pertains to getting the car seat unhooked from the base. My boyfriends truck is lifted, and being pretty short I really struggled to be able to push the car seat up enough off the base to get it to unlatch. It's not so much an issue in a normal sized car, but if you struggle to reach to begin with, the car seat seems to have a higher latch on the base than other car seats, which definitely made it hard for me. Over all this car seat is a great, extra safe option!

Love this car seat I have matching stroller. I don’t have any problems with this car seat. It’s so comfortable I wanna crawl in it.

I am not sure why this has bad reviews but I love it. From the handle grip to the long canopy cover and comfortable newborn insert. This is a wonderful product. True you cannot remove headrest but you can adjust up and down which is fantastic! My 2 month old baby girl does great with this

My friend recommended me this car seat, like the design. Will see how it goes.
