We have the DaVinci Kalani mini crib and the 5” coil mattress. ... I like the thicker mattress personally. I was worried the 3” would be so thin it’d be uncomfortable once my baby is a toddler. The 5” fits perfectly in it with no gaps. ... As for sheets, it is a pain. I found that the Gerber organic cotton sheets (for regular size cribs) can be shrunk in hot water and then they fit the mini crib mattress.

I have the davinci 5" mattress. As for sheets, BRU had Koala Baby Porta Crib sheets on clearance so I stocked up. ... I think I will go with the thicker 5.5 inch mattress because I agree with you blessed baby about 3 inches being too thin.

I just purchased the DaVinci deluxe coil mattress and I was concerned too. I emailed the company and they said it is safe for infants. It meets all federal safety standards and is firm enough for safe sleep.

Durability complaint after months of use
Using this specific mattress since May and the quality has gone down dramatically. It is now very soft and is easily bent. If you plan on longevity, I would not recommend this mattress.

Comparison with Babyletto and perfect fit with DaVinci crib
I went with the DaVinci Deluxe Coil mattress because I’m getting the DaVinci Dylan crib. I’ve read that the DaVinci mattresses fit their cribs like a glove. ... I was debating between Babyletto Pure Core and the DaVinci Deluxe but decided to stick with the same brand for fit.
