The Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat is a 3-in-1 child restraint system that functions as a rear-facing seat (5–40 lbs, 19–40 inches), forward-facing seat (30–65 lbs, 34.4–49 inches), and belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs, 43.4–52 inches). It features PureCosi and EcoCare fabrics made from 100% recycled plastic bottles with no added fire-retardant chemicals, and the cover is machine-washable and dryer-safe. The seat includes a QuickFit one-handed headrest and harness adjustment system, ReclineFit with three recline positions, a 5-point harness, two removable dishwasher-safe cup holders, and one-click LATCH connectors. Users report that the seat is comfortable and easy to clean, but the harness can be difficult to tighten and installation with LATCH may be challenging; some recommend using the seat belt for a more secure fit.

Beautifully designed carseat

carenb

I have been happy so far with the Pria 3 in 1 convertible seat. I received the car seat as part of the WeeSpring parent panel. My daughter is only 6 weeks old, so I have not used it very frequently, but it seems great for this age and like it will work well as she grows. The installation was simple enough and the car seat is very nice looking. The fabric is soft and cozy. The straps are easy to adjust and clip in very smoothly and easily without jostling the baby too much. Since it is very brand new to me, I cannot comment on how easy it is to clean yet. I am excited that I will be able to use this seat for the next few years!

Most Secure Installation EVER!

KB

I was so incredibly pleased with how easily and quickly the Pria installed in my Mitsubishi Outlander. Using the tether and the seat belt, that seat didn't budge even a quarter of an inch when I tried shaking it to test the installation. Safety is by far the most important aspect of a car seat for me, so I would take a well-installed-but-ugly seat over a gorgeous one any day, but I'm so stoked on the Pria because it's both secure and pleasing to the eye. You can tell it's plush just by looking at it. My son is a super sweaty guy so having removable, machine-washable covers was an absolute must. I also love that the double cup holders are dishwasher safe, too.

Great car seat for messy toddlers!

DG Mom

This is a really great car seat! Very easy to install, with some great features. A few favorites are the ease of removing fabric for washing, being able to adjust the strap height so easily without uninstalling, and REMOVABLE DISHWASHER SAFE CUP HOLDERS! These should be standard in all car seats! :) Also has strap holders but I always find these sound great in theory but that I never end up actually using them. The only downside I see is that I wish it was a 4-in-1 instead of a 3-in-1 so that it could also transition to a backless booster. *Note: I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

Highly recommend!

TessMG

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat. We absolutely love it. Installation was a tiny bit tricky, but we are first time parents so we find EVERYTHING tricky. Our 2 month daughter has been riding in this seat for about two weeks and falls asleep every time she gets strapped in. We've had two diaper explosions in the car so far, and are so glad the car sear cover is removable. It's super easy to clean and makes the piddle pad unnecessary. We're also so glad we don't have to invest in another carseat down the road - she can use this til she's a big girl since it converts to a toddler seat and booster seat. Such good value.

LOVE IT

Amber

Love this carseat. i was already in the market for a car seat for my 4 month old and was looking for one that can grow with her. I love the build of this car seat and how comfortable my baby looks in it. It's very easy to adjust, the only time I had to read the manual was when I was trying to lean the seat forward from testing out how far it leans back. Love the infant insert and the cushion in the seat that will sit the baby up. I didn't get to use it as my baby is too big, but love the concept. The fabric is great. I didn't try to take it off so I'm not sure how easy it'll come off. Otherwise, the seat is great!!! I received this product through the weespring parent panel.

Not so satisfied with the styrofoam

Liya

I purchased this car set for my little one thinking it would be comfortable but then i happen to notice that the headrest is not stable. I thought my son would have been pickiing up, what other explanation can be. Anyhow one fine day the headrest just comes off, i then notice that the foam behind that headrest was cut into half. I went to the retailer where i bought this, they said i have to reach them out, the maxi cosi people and they can help me with. I left them message, i hope they revert back to me and tesolve this issue, because its not comfortable for my son to be seated in there neither ots safe.

I would NOT recommend

kbye

I bought this for my 6 month old. I'm not happy with how big and bulky this thing is. i have a 2022 Toyota- it takes up basically the entire seat that my passenger seat is so high up. The directions make it difficult to understand proper installation. The infant inserts have no specifications of age to take it out. I dont know when to move the buckle up either. I ordered the all black carseat and they sent me a black one with brown trimming. im very upset. the buckle is HARD to unlock and the head rest is also hard to move up and down.

2 cuo holders! enough said!

gjprasad

My daughter is really enjoying her car seat. And I LOVE that there are 2 cup holders. One for a bottle and one for a snack cup which is easily reachable to the child. The straps were super easy to adjust and the installation is like any other car seat installation. It's not the easiest lugging and strapping a car seat down for the first time but it's also not rocket science. There is a latch system that makes it easier vs. other car seats. The fabric is smooth and soft AND wipeable! All in all, we love it and thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing my family with this Infant Car Seat.

DO NOT BUY

Lyv

Poor quality, expensive, does not recline enough no matter what you do to level it out, constantly loosens and needs to be fixed before putting my child in every time I have read the manual dozens of times to confirm I didn't miss anything and it turns out the more reviews you dig into many people with same problem. Absolutely regret this seat, I purchased Graco for less money and it has better recline and is just better quality (This message has been sent to customer service with NO help or response) waste of money!

Great option for your growing LO

Jaclyn O

We recently trialed the Pria 3 in 1 car seat for my 14 month old. The fabric is super soft and has a good amount of cushion, which was excellent and my LO really liked. It was easy to install using the latch system, which also makes me feel like we are keeping her super safe. The shoulder pads are a bit long, but could easily be removed. I do like how easy it is to change the amount the seat reclines. We did use it to travel and it was loathe to have to move around and fit in the bag provided by the airline, but not too heavy. Overall I think this is a great option for your growing babe! Comfortable, safe and easily grows with your LO. I did receive this product through the weeSprinf parent panel.

Amazing car seat

Anica T

Let me start by saying this car seat is as comfortable as it gets. I am a huge advocate for car seat safety and extended rear facing. This seat allows kids to rear face until they reach 40 lbs, and then can be converted to forward facing 5 point harness for up to 65 lbs, and a booster after that. It is a true all in one seat. The configuration provided superior side impact support. It is easy to install and the center buckle has 3 positions, where most other seats have 2, allowing for extra comfort and safety. There is a lot of padding so kids can be cozy and safe at the same time. Covers are removable and dryer safe, which is a huge bonus considering seats can get oh so messy. 10/10 would recommend.

Poor harness design

JCam

While the seat itself seems comfortable and my daughter likes it, it's impossible to pull the strap at the bottom of the seat enough to ensure my daughter is in snug. I crawl back to her seat each time I put her in her car seat and use all of my strength and body weight to pull the strap down to tighten the harness system. It never tightens enough. The strap is super hard to pull, for both myself and my husband. I know everything is installed properly (which is a huge pain) and no matter what we do, that tightening strap is near impossible to pull tight. I cannot recommend this seat.

Sturdy and Safe!

Jordan

I love this car seat and I have no worries that my daughter would be safe if anything were to happen while she is in it. It is very great quality, sturdy, and safe. And she seems to think it's very comfortable! The only "con" is that it is quite heavy and can be tricky to install, but mine stays in my backseat and I'm not constantly having to remove it so I don't really see it as a con. And I would rather it be heavy and I feel like it's sturdy than easier to install and me feel like it's less protective. Overall I think this is a great car seat and would definitely recommend it!

Very disappointed! Never buying again

Cheryl

An absolute regret purchasing this seat! For the price this is poorly designed. I do not recommend! Next to impossible to safely tighten it. It moves around so much. Both my husband and I have tried but it's impossible.thwy should consider the crank system others have. Repurchased a Graco for half the price and its magnificent! Machine washed many times and it's freying. Toddler can't get his cups out of the cupholder because of the straight design mixed with the rubber.

Love this convertible car seat!

Klbrogers

The Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is our families new favorite car seat. We have tried numerous brands between both our children but the Pria 3-in-1 is our new favorite for both our children. When searching for a car seat, safety is always the first priority, but our second priority is ease of installation and thankfully the Pria 3-in-1 excels in both of those areas. We love how easy it was to install and move in and out of our vehicles. Another great feature was how easy is it to adjust the headrest and straps between both of our children. My kids are 5 and 18 months and they both fit very comfortably in this seat. Special thanks to the WeeSpring panel for providing me with the Pria 3-in-1 Comverible Car Seat!

Surprise hit with my toddler

Carly Roberts

I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I've been very impressed! My son always hated his infant car seat with a passion, and I was shocked to find that he was pretty happy with this Maxi-Cosi one. He even sat in it by choice while it sat in our living room for a few days before I installed it! The fabric is plush and comfy, the easy adjustment of the straps was very helpful, and the thoughtful touches made it easy for me to use. I'm excited that this one car seat will last us far into the future, and if we have a second baby, I love knowing that I don't need to buy another infant seat but can use this one throughout. I wish I had gotten it earlier. Would definitely recommend to others.

Big but baby luxury

Ruth M

If you're looking for a luxury car seat for your baby then this is a great choice. It has so much padding and comfort my baby was all smiles as soon as we put him in. If you travel often and are looking for more of a minimalist seat which is what is a better fit for my little family then I wouldn't recommend it just because of how bulky and big it is. It doesn't come with quick connect straps either. It's easy to adjust with the straps and head rest and the fabric is very soft, cozy and pretty easy to handle. The harness straps were a little challenging for me to unbuckle. Thank you wee spring for sending me this product to try. The overall comfort and safety it provides for my baby outweighed any minor bulky dissatisfactions I had.

Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is great!

sflady

I received the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat as a part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall look of the seat and ease with which it installed. I immediately removed the infant insert as my child is 10 months, and I felt comfortable with the fit and felt as though she were cradled nicely in the contouring of the seat's design. It's both sleek and stylish. I would have liked a slightly softer fabric, however, the feel and texture of the material isn't bad. The shoulder straps are nice and the holders keep the straps at bay. It was easy to adjust the height of the clip buckle and felt like she was securely fastened. I'd definitely recommend this seat to anyone looking to purchase a convertible seat!

Recommend to others

JO87

Would recommend this carseat to others, easy to adjust harness and headrest as your kiddo grows. Strap holders make it easier to get baby in and out. It goes rear facing to a high weight which is really nice to keep baby rear facing for as long as possible. I haven't attempted to remove car seat cover but reading over instructions, it appears to be easy enough. I really like that the cups are removable and dishwasher safe. Materials are nice and car seat was easy to install with LATCH. I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

I like it and would buy again.

Bekah

We have been using this seat for about a year. I have had no problems with it at all. I'm concerned to read that at two years some people are complaining of the headrest breaking but as of right now, I see no signs of wear aside from just my toddler being a toddler. I have recommended this seat to friends. My kid falls asleep in it all the time telling me it must be cosi. I plan to keep him rear facing as long as possible (up to 40 pounds). My only con is that it is large. I drive a 2014 Toyota Avalon and it would be very uncomfortable to have to sit in the middle of my backseat and while car seat is rear facing, my front passenger seat has to sit closer to the dash than I would prefer but that won't be an issue when he moves to forward facing.

Good up until booster mode

Gretchen

I have had this car seat for two years now and have been happy enough. However, we just switched to booster mode for my 4-year-old, and it has been a nightmare. Instructions on how to install were very, very difficult to find online. Once we figured the installation out, we realized we cannot even use because the seatbelt is not long enough to buckle over the carseat! Our seat is in the third row of our car as our two younger kids are in the middle row captains seats. The seat is too big to function properly once it is in booster mode.

A dream but also a little heavy

Bre

Was looking for a car seat for my son, and I had my eye on this specific car seat for awhile. I did look at others as well, when I saw that you could remove the cup holders and wash the fabric. I liked it. We did need one asap as we did get into an accident so we needed one fast. Ordered the Blue one and received it very quickly! I opened the box and there it was. It was heavy and big. But when I saw how comfy it was compared to his old one I was like he is going to love this! Of course the first time he sat in it was a big happy face! Easy to adjust and strap in. My husband was the one to install it, he did it quite fast and easy no help. We've had it for almost 1 year now and it's held up to my sons snacks and drinks. (Haven't washed the fabric yet.)

The first and last car seat you'll ever need!

Boy mom

The Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat lived up to my high expectations. As a mom of two, we have purchased numerous car seats over the years to outfit our cars, the grandparents' cars, for travel, and for the nanny. This is best seat to date. It is our second Maxi Cosi seat and it lived up to the standard we know and love. The fabric colors are stylish and the fabric choices luxurious. Because it is well made, it is easy to adjust and the straps don't roll or twist like cheaper seats. The strap holders are cushy and I know my little one is as comfortable as he is safe. My favorite feature? The longevity of the seat. This is last seat we will ever need! I received this car seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel, and I couldn't be happier. Happy mom, happy baby!

Love this car seat

Whitney

I love the maxi cozi! My two year old is so comfortable in it and lives the two cup holders! I had a few issues installing it In My car. The straps were difficult for some reason! But the padding was luxurious and unlike any car seat my family has used before and we have definitely used quite a few! I would certainly recommend this car seat to anyone looking for a car seat that will grow with your child and the washability feature is spectacular! I received this as part of the weeSpring parent panel.

Fabric rips very easily!!

Kim

My 18 month baby is now without a carseat! I washed the fabric and as soon as i took it out to dry it, it was all ripped and useless. Everythng ripped! There was no way of saving it! We just bought it 3 months ago! Almost 300$ in the trash!

Great Convertible Carseat

Melanie B

I love the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. We have been Britax carseat users for the past 4 years and I really love the following about this car seat - it is very plush and looks/feels luxurious - my 9 month old never cried in it out of discomfort - easy to install - easy to tighten shoulder straps - easy to increase height of the seat for growing child The only feedback I'd share is - the seat is bigger than the other ones I've had but I think it's largely due to the plush material so it's worth it - the shoulder pads are great in theory but they don't really stay on the straps and fall off most times I try to use them, there could be stronger velcro Overall I highly recommend this carseat for any age child. I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

High quality car seat

Tracy

I own four car seats, and this is the first Maxi Cosi that I have. I've been pretty brand-loyal to Graco, and this is a very comparable seat. I was happy to see that it has a simple one-hand adjustable headrest/strap. I am using this seat for my 3-year-old as he bounces between grandmas for childcare each day. It is easy for me to install and uninstall regularly. Though I'm not using it for an infant the cushions included for a small child look very comfortable and close fitting for security.

Looks great & comfortable, needs some adjustments

MamaScan

Thanks weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us the 3-in-1 Convertible car seat. The car seat aesthetically looks great and is super plush! Installing was rather simple. Our daughter enjoys the seat and seems very comfortable. When installing, the line helps to ensure how level the car seat is, however, having an actual level on the car seat would be more reassuring for safety purposes and the cross buckle design seems somewhat flimsy. All in all, good car seat, just a couple of minor tweaks

Very heard to adjust straps

Celena

We have 2 of these for our now 4 and 2 year olds. The fabric has held up pretty good after several washes. We have always noticed that it is very hard to adjust the straps and at times it seems impossible to get the seat tight enough. We really love it otherwise, however it defeats the purpose if it is comfy, yet not safe. For this reason, I cannot recommend. We are expecting again and were considering the pria 85. From the reviews it appears it may have the same issues.

This is a car seat gamechanger!

Benjs

What an amazing car seat with features that I didn't know even existed in a car seat. It was so easy to install and once I put my child in, in true form, he spilled in the brand new seat. Guess what! The easiest thing to clean up, and left no marks at all. The seat is so well made and padded, that it seems really comfortable. Additionally, the seat really seems sturdy and well made, which is so important when putting your loved one in it. I'm thrilled with the car seat!

My favorite carseat

MommyT

received this car seat as a part of the weeSpring parent panel in exchange for my review. I absolutely love the Pria 3in 1. I was using an infant seat until I got this one. My son would get irritated during car rides took the same rides with the Pria 3 in 1 and he was fine. I love how softer the cushions are which I'm sure provides extra comfort fort for my little guy. Since I won't be using the other modes anytime soon I put my 50lb 6 year old unit just to see how he fit. He fit well I liked it although he prefers his booster ( I think it's because he knows the baby fits in the seat too) I love that I will never have to by him another seat or a booster as he grows. I would definitely recommend this seat to everyone. I also love that it's not too bulky it fit with my son's booster and still left room in my back seat.

It's an amazing Product!

Lizzieey

This car seat was amazing I absolutely loved it! I got the opportunity to try out the car seat thanks to weespring Parent Panel. I was pleasantly surprised on how well made the car seat was. It was super easy to tailor to my kids. It was easy to use. My older child hates car seats in general, but with the Pria 3 in 1 it was great. The car seat is very secure and comfortable. If it's your first convertible car seat it might look overwhelming at first, but if you take about 5 - 10 minutes to figure out how to move everything to fit your child it's a piece of cake. If you already know how to handle a convertible car seat it's going to be very easy to move things around. It had high quality and comfortable fabric, steel rods to connect the base and car seat. The clips were easy to get in and out of the car. It's a great product!

Good with some quirks

itisme345

The car seat is pretty user friendly. It's pretty easy to install (though I think the click tights might win that award) and looks pretty comfortable and cozy. The chest clip is a little different from the standard chest clip and takes a little getting used to and I still have to use 2 hands sometimes. I really like how easy it is to adjust the harness on this as we have a nanny share so the car seat can be used easily for both a small and big toddler as well as a 4 year old. I didn't take this particular cover off but we have another one that my baby puked in and i will say, that was a workout! Cleaning it itself was easy but taking it off and putting it back on was not fun! Overall I really like this car seat but I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost. It's also pretty bulky so if you have a small car size might be an issue.

We love it!

Jackie

My husband, baby and I we just love it. It was super easy to install, I love the color, and the comforting. My baby loves it because she just chills in the car everything we go somewhere and falls asleep so easily. It's just more than what I expected, and for sure I will recommended. The only "but" that I have for it is that it's a little too big for my car, so if you're thinking about buy this car seat, just make sure it will fit in your car.

What a great seat, I wish I got it sooner

JuliaK

I absolutely love the Pria 3-in-1 Seat! I only wish i knew about it earlier so we did not have to buy a baby car seat to then switch it a few months later. I love that the seat adjusts as my daughter grows. She was comfortable and used to her new throne from day 1 with the straps feeling secure but not bothersome. The headrest is a great height and adjusts easily for her. I also love the fabric and feel of the seat, it's soft and looks luxurious without feeling uncomfortable. I'm excited to be able to remove the car seat cover to clean in the future, since babies snack and get very messy in their seat. But it was fresh and new from day one so I did not try to remove it. I'm sure i'll have a chance to do so later. I also absolutely love the two cup/snack/mommy ice tea holders! What a great perk! Thank you for letting us sample this seat, it is my new favorite tool!

I wish I could buy this again

Ash

I LOVE this seat. Both my boys have/had it. Unfortunately I'm down to one and can't replace the other. We got into an accident in November after my oldest was admitted to the hospital. This car seat ensured his safety and I couldn't believe how well it did. If I could afford to, I'd make sure the seat was replaced and buy two for their dads car ❤️ I love the seats adjustability. All of it. I can't rave enough about it

Be careful and be informed. It's not me, it's the car seat!

Karen

This car seat is beautiful however it's not an easy install. It's actually a disaster, like some of the other comments have described. The latch system is hard to use with it and get it in tight. My biggest problem with it is the recline! It is in the most reclined position and when you strap it in, still not enough to have baby back. I've been to multiple install locations and this seat is not easy. Save yourself!

The whole package

Jaclyn

This car seat looks beyond comfortable for our little one + such an added bonus that it will grow with our baby until she is 10 years old. We love that it's machine washable because we have quite the little blow out queen! We love how narrow it is while still being super safe as it is actually more narrow in our back row than a car seat we bought specifically known for being a "slim fit." Would recommend!

Not a good car seat for the price

Dez

Got this car seat for my daughter and it is horrible, tried contacting and they ended the chat on me and then no agents were available to help me after. It tore in the washer on gentle cycle in a pillowcase. Overall it's just poorly and cheaply made and I do not recommend. I'm not sure if I may have gotten a 'faulty' car seat. Which I doubt highly, but even still how would I know of I can't get any help

Love this carseat and the company!!

Mimi

Love this carseat and company. The first time i removed cover to wash it my 2 yr old grandson broke styrofoam off from around the head. I called customer support and was clearly upset that i had to throw carseat away now and because i purchased it from them they replaced it for me. I was in tears because it was a gift and I couldn't replace it. Definitely best customer support from a company ever!!

Very hard to buckle until the car

Aggie

I like this car seat because it's not manufactured in China and it's large and comfy and my kid likes it. However, the belt to secure the seat using the LATCH system in the car is IMPOSSIBLE to tighten. The angle of the belt to be able to pull it is very awkward. I can't do it myself, my husband and I have to do it together and I literally need to sit in the seat for him to get enough leverage to tighten the latch belt. Yes, I can use the seat belt, but the latch system is better but this car seat makes it hard to utilize. So I can't move the car seat unless I have someone strong enough with me to tighten the car seat to the car. So basically we avoid removing the car seat at all costs. It's that annoying. As others have said, there is exposed Styrofoam which looks cheap. Otherwise I still think it's one of the better car seats in terms of safety, which is the most important factor for us.

Dangerous

Randi

Impossible to get the correct incline and tightness to even have a safe ride. If my husband cannot get it to tighten down, no one is. The cheap plastic base and anchors run into each other and I'm having to put multiple towels under to get a proper incline for my baby. I have a 2022 Highlander and with how much this car seat costs, it should not be this unsafe for a baby. Very disappointed.

Exceptional Carseat

Ashley

This carseat is extremely easy to install and my one year old seems REALLY comfortable in it. It's very sleek looking, and fits well in my midsize SUV (a Subaru Forester). I love the built in cup holders so my daughter has easy access to her water and snacks. This is definitely one of the best convertible carseats I've used. It's very secure and safe and I have absolutely no complaints!

I'd but again if the foam wasn't so flimsy.

Megan

I've had the Car seat for less than a week. My 2.5 year old had an accident during the 30 min drive home from his sisters softball practice. I had to take the cover off to wash it and the foam headrest completely broke when I was putting the cover back on. I'm so disappointed. It just flops around now and I can't find how to buy a replacement. Other than the foam I like this seat

A winner for safety and comfort for littles!

Samantha

This is the BEST of all the car seats that I have used. We have gone through three different car seats looking for something that is versatile and safe. The Maxi-Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car seat really has it all. The convenience of being able to flip from an infant car seat to a toddler seat makes this a winner. Definite pros: Safety - This car seat is so safe and the straps feel very secure. When my kiddo is in the car, she is secure and doesn't shift. Versatility - The shift from an infant seat to a larger kids is easy and safe. Cleanliness - I HATE cleaning car seats. This makes up for it. It is easy to wash because the inserts are easy to remove. Also, this has to cup holders that make it much easier to hold and prevent spilled drinks. Comfort - The seat easily reclines and the pads are soft and comfortable. Overall, I have not found any cons at this point. I would DEFINITELY recommend this!

Super cute!

Parent to Be

Haven't put the little in it yet (still pregnant) but wife showed it around at work and is really excited. It goes all the way to booster age! What a relief to have less storage/big stuff hanging around and less to purchase in the future…more money for fun stuff! Can't wait to install it. The orange is a bit more pink than I thought but still cute. Thank you! #sweepstakes

Highly Recommend!

Nicole

Love this car seat! It was super easy to install and the seat is super comfortable for my 2 year old daughter. I particularly like the ease of the harness system and the fact that my daughter will be able to use this seat as she continues to grow. The great safety rating is what initially sparked my interest in this seat, so I'm happy to report all of those other pros!

I would buy this car seat again and again if I could!

Sadie

If you are a girl mom then this car seat is for you! It is the prettiest car seat I've ever had! Very safe! AND THE BEST PART IS! It is sooo easy to put my daughter inside the seat and take her out , the straps are very easy to use and it is the most comfiest car seat we've ever owned! My daughter never cries when she's in it, Ik she loves it so Ik your baby will too!

No

Nicole

I wanted to love this seat. It's beautiful! So much padding and comfy! But I just can't sleep well at night letting my baby ride in this. Rear facing with an infant. It's near Impossible to get it tight with the position of the belt using the LATCH system. It's moves way too much. Older child that's forward facing.. go for it. Skip for rear facing child. Sadly.

The fabric is poor quality

Jamie

Day 2 of having this car seat the fabric started to come apart but only on the latch location so figured no big deal. Now, the whole thing is split apart and you weirdly can't buy a replacement pad for the seat. Also, the latching system that clips.onto the seat hooks is horrible and nearly impossible in some cars. It doesn't have enough length for some.

Trap workout

Daddio on the patio

I had to carry two of these through an airport. They made my traps pop to say the least. Does anyone have any idea how much one of these weighs? My wife says 20lbs but I think it's closer to 40. The only con is cleaning these things. My daughter shot micky d's breakfast out of her mouth like a wet wood chipper. Needless to say, I wasn't loving it.

Broken headrest

Kelso

Has worked well for almost 2 years, but our foam headrest just snapped. I'm not sure if this is a long-standing issue or not, but I'm shocked that it was so easily broken and does not give me confidence in the seat overall. Otherwise, I have had no issues with fabric or annything else, and my toddler is comfortable in it. It's really disappointing.

Not safe

Cheryl

The seat is so difficult to tighten it moves around so much and does not feel safe. Not impressed with the poor design. The material is freying from being washed. Given the insane price I'll go with my Graco which so far has been a much better purchase. Will need to purchase a second car seat again soon and don't think I'll be choosing Maxi Cosi!

Baby loves the Pria 3-in-1!!

Elisag

Our 3 mo baby has never done well in her infant style car seat so we were very excited to use our Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 carseat. This is our first Maxi Cosi car seat and we were very happy that it came fully assembled, helping to make installation a breeze. As first time parents I was shocked that my husband was able to install it in under an hour. He was impressed (and I think a little jealous) that it has 2 cup holders, and also with the adjustability of the incline. I was super happy with how easy it was to remove the fabric cover (as baby girl has a habit of pooping around her diaper). I think my favorite feature of the car seat is that it seats up to 100 pounds, so this is the last car seat we will need. To seal the deal on this car seat, our baby really seems to love it! During her first car ride she fell asleep before we were even out of our neighborhood!! Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing us with this product!

This product does not fit BMW back seats

BMW enthusiast

If you have a new BMW or similar car this will not fit! To be specific 440Xi Grand Coupe. I spent all night trying to get it to fit only to find the base doesn't fit into the seats at all. Major design flaw and your delays in shipping ruined our road trip this week. Add a car configuration tool to your website when you buy like a car rack.

My baby seems to love this car seat.

Pabs

We had a regular car seat that we transferred between the car and stroller, but recently started putting them in the stroller without it. We needed to change tactics because they were getting a bit uncomfortable laying down, so we started using this car seat. He loves the fact that he gets to sit down and lean back when he gets tired!

Replacement Parts Unavailable

Caroline

Great car seat and our kid loves it but replacement parts are non-existent. After owning the seat for 4 years we have lost a cup and need to replace the cover as well but we are not able to buy them anywhere. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for the parts either but I can't find them anywhere. Would be 5/5 stars otherwise.

Pria All In One Car Seat for the win!

Karen

We recently upgraded our toddlers car seat to the Pria and it has been a game changer! It's stylish and comfortable and our kiddo looks a lot more cozy now! Plus, it will grow with him up to 10 years of age, how cool is that?! We definitely love this car seat and plan to get another one for our baby coming this November!

This comfortable car seat caused baby's first smile!

Liser

The first time we put our little girl in the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat we got our first smile -- what more can I say?! Actually, I can say a lot more. I received this car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel. It's a beautiful car seat! It's different shades of gray, in a very luxe material. The seat is super plush, seemingly as comfortable as it is safe. The car seat was easy to fit and the straps are super easy to adjust. The one downside is that it is big. But of course, it makes sense that it is big since our baby girl will be able to use it for years. Since it will be around for years, we're grateful for the small details like the easy to remove layers, the cupholders, the fact that the fabric can be removed to be washed. So long as the user is looking for a car seat to stay in their car for their little one to grow into, as opposed to a smaller seat that can be removed and carried, I would definitely recommend this one! Hopefully it makes your baby smile too :)

Love this brand

Bz18

Upgraded from the infant seat. The carseat look and feels comfortable. However part of the foam padding is showing and the fabric won't cover it. It is more of an esthetic thing so I didn't take more stars. I'm just slightly disappointed because of the price and because I love these seats so much. #sweepstakes

A seat that lasts

Smile414

What a surprise to receive this wonderful seat in exchange for this review! I can't believe it will truly last 10 years! I love the double cup holders and the easy grip for resizing the seat belt. The last thing anyone wants to do is pull the entire seat out just to resize! It is soft, plush, and great.

I would buy this again!

Jabroni

It is adjustable to sitting upright or laid back some for when our child falls asleep from time to time which is helpful. The cup holders could be bigger, but can make it work. They were kind when we accidentally bought the wrong color. Our child seems to really like sitting upright and is comfortable.

Love this carseat

Cee

This car seat is soooo nice & looks insanely comfortable. We're calling it the Lazy Boy of car seats! We were nervous about transferring out the bucket seat but the baby loved it so much we became excited! Plus, the magnet buckle is incredible and the things to hold the straps is a game changer!

LOVE IT

ADM

I bought this for my daughter's second Christmas. The material was really disappointing as it did not hold up to normal wear and tear. I wrote customer service and had exceptional service and they were very understanding! They made it right and I'm so pleased to be able to use with my next one!

Amazing car seat AND customer service!!

ASlone

I'm blown away by the customer service of maxi Cosi! I messaged them letting them know that we loved their car seats, but that my daughters had started to wear just after 1-2 times of washing. They sent a replacement interior to my front door within TWO days! Amazing!! I'll always recommend!

Doesn't feel safe at all

Jennifer

It moves around so much, if god forbid we were ever in an accident I wouldn't trust it to keep my daughter safe. Feels super flimsy and no matter how we installed it, it would move with the push of a finger. I wish i could return it but it's too late. We will be buying a different car seat.

Comfortable and Convertible

Tmt6x7

The MaxiCosi Pria all in one looks and feels so comfortable, I even want to sit in it! The cushioning is so plush and easy to remove when it needs to be cleaned. It is wider and overall larger compared to the infant car seat I previously used, which is to be expected being convertible. Yes, there is a bit more difficult installation process, but the directions are easy to understand and customer service is great if you need help or have questions. If you have more than one vehicle, I would recommend a second carseat so you don't have to move this one around. I love the easy shoulder harness adjustment and the fact that it can be installed using latch anchors or the seatbelt. My little one is already 14 months but I love that the Pria can be used from birth as well with the infant inserts and pillows! I know this seat will be comfortable and safe for years to come, plus he loves the two cup holders! I would buy this for any future babies and recommend to anyone looking for a convertible car seat.

THE Carseat I didn't know we needed! < 3

Ari

We love road trips and this little mama was not a fan of her infant car seat, the Pria 3-in-1 has been a game changer! It's so much more comfortable making her love car rides now! Its so soft and easy to clean. The best part, you can start using it as an infant. :) Top notch of car seats!

Security A1 Fabric 0

Alexe

Super safe! Our daughter was in a huge car accident and she end up with nothing. Super happy with the safety features. Not with the fabric. She get also always car sick and we had to wash it a lot. The fabric seem to decompose after a certain time (and we did wash it with care).

Issues with fabric

Julie

The car seat looks very comfortable and my son seems happy in it. HOWEVER, the fabric is already wearing on the bottom after 3 months so I can't imagine it lasting years the way I hoped it would and then fabric flap over the harness release button is already ripping halfway off.

I would buy this product again

jackie

I use this car seat for my 1 year old daughter. I love how quick you can adjust the reclining on the car seat, and how comfortable she is while on the car seat. I would also like to mention, her head isn't all over the place when she sleeps !! Love this product #sweepstakes

Love this brand

Bz18

The car seat feels and looks comfortable. However, part of the foam padding on the one I received is showing and the fabric won't pull over to cover it. I know this is more of an esthetic thing so I didn't take more stars. Upgrading from the infant seat and love this brand.

Amazing car seat with great features!

nulie

Love this car seat. My favorite feature is the clips on the side to hold the straps. My kiddo loves how comfortable the car seat is! The fabric is soft with a luxurious feel. The size is perfect for our suv and installs easily! Adjusting the headrest is also so easy.

The best seat.

Dllskh

We are on our 3rd pria seat! We have 3 in car seats right now and they are the only way to go. Love that they can be used from birth- 100 lbs. they they are extremely comfortable and that they looks sleek in my car! Best car seat on the market in my opinion!

Not happy

Mckenzie

Not happy with this purchase. The car seat smelled terrible. The bottom in the head rest broke off during the first wash and I can barely tighten the seat past a certain point. My son doesn't seem secure in the seat. It was great for the first couple weeks.

Awesome carseat

snm1883

I absolutely love this car seat. I replaced a lower quality car seat and I'm so glad I did. This car seat has all quality. It is plush and super easy to install. My daughter even loves it! She yells "seat" when we head to the car because she's so excited.

Beautiful Seat

KHerm

I love this seat! The materials are soft and well padded. I really like the adjustability of this seat, its so great to not have to buy 3 different seats for when baby is growing so fast! Maxi Cosi offers such great color combos too, always a plus :)

We love Maxi Cosi products!

Sam

This is our second car seat purchased from maxi cosi. They always look so comfortable, I want to sit in them. The car seat seems very safe, my daughter loves it and its always a plus to be able to choose from really pretty colors. #sweepstakes

Comfortable Convertible

lsim

I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I like that it came fully assembled for an infant and the infant cushioning was easy to remove. Since my baby is in a bucket seat that snaps into a stroller I decided to use this on my tall and solid toddler who is forward facing. I had to enlist the help of my husband to install it as I couldn't get the straps/seat tight enough for it to feel securely fastened to the car. It needed his weight and strength to pull it tight. The material is soft and plush, I like the lower back cushion for my toddler and that the headrest is easy to adjust in height. I love the long straps and holders; it makes getting my toddler in and out of the car and strapped in a breeze. My toddler finds it comfortable and enjoys the two cup holders that are easy for an adult to remove and be washed in the dishwasher. I haven't had to clean it yet so I can't attest to how easy it is to take off and clean. This would be a good car seat to take traveling due to the weight and how comfortable it is.

Absolutely love this seat

Heather

I love this car seat. Sure it's a bit heavy and definitely not fun to move but it's so comfortable and stays cool. We have the black and it doesn't get hot at all. My child loves it. It's so easy to clean and adjust. Definitely worth it.

So cozy! Perfect for preemie.

EMD

We got the Pria 3in1 because my daughter loves her 2in1 so much, plus for a mother with preterm delivery risks, I was grateful to see that this seat started at 4lbs. Can't wait to bring my baby home in it! #RidingwithPria3in1 #sponsored

I will never switch car seat brands ever again!!

Nikki

Not only are the car seats amazing quality but when I did have a cosmetic issue the customer service was 10/10!! Answered so fast and got me my replacement car seat even faster than I had expected! Will forever recommend Maxi Cosi!

My favorite car seat

AnikaLC

I have this car seat for all 3 of my daughters that are in car seats. Have had them for years and will recommend to anyone. Not only are they comfortable but they are aesthetically pleasing and most importantly safe.

I absolutely love this car seat

Leanna

I absolutely love this car seat. It is so nice and comfortable for my daughter, yet safe. The two cupholders make it so convenient. He actually have the same car seat in the second car because we loved it that much.

Amazingly plush and very sturdy!

Long legs

I am very excited to put our 6th granddaughter into our newest Pria all in one car seat! I feel certain she will be comfortable and safe during her travels in grandmas car. Added bonus to register for a sweepstakes.

Seemed nice at first

Jonny C

We got this for our daughter so she could grow and we wouldn't need another car seat. After several months of snack and drinks being spilled we took off the cover and washed it. Taking them off went fairly well. Putting them back on was not super easy. Then we experienced not being able to get the straps tight or the car seat adjust tightly to the car anchors again. I felt like I had it 95% tight the first time but the second time I attached it, it seemed impossible and there was a ton of play. It seems like no matter what I did, leaning on it, having my wife put her weight on it and I pull, wasn't enough to get it be tight to our car's seat. It moved side to side and up way too easily. We went back to her old car seat for a bit and then we're given a fairly new one from a friend. I straightened and cleaned the straps, vacuumed food bits out and looked for corrosion on the buckles. I don't know what caused the problem but it just wouldn't tighten to the seat or adjust well to our daughters frame well at all. Would not recommend. Cup holders are nice… but like lipstick on a pig.

Unsafe

Gin

I've tried latch and vehicle belt installs, and watched multiple videos but I cannot get this seat tight enough. It moves several inches in every direction. I do not feel safe using this with my child.

Did not meet expectations.

Marie

Before buying this seat I definitely shopped around a good bit, did a lot of research, and was really eager to buy it! When I finally got it in, I had difficulty deciding if I needed the padding in with my daughter or not. And I had to ask a couple of people to read the manual to clarify which pillows could be used without the other. After getting that situated I went to install it in my car. The first time I attempted it, I loved how easy anchoring it was to my car as opposed to my Evenflo I had for my daughters infant seat. However every time (I'm going for round 5) there is something wrong. Whether it be not secure enough, not reclined enough, or not level enough. I can not get the darn seat just right. I've tried all the tips in the manual like the towel or noodles, I've tried YouTube videos. I just can not get it. I won't be returning this seat, I feel like I'm refusing to let it win lol. But my next step is going to end up being to our nearest fire station to let a professional do it. I definitely felt like I had an easier time installing my Evenflo when I was 9 months pregnant.

Maxi Cosi Pria 3in 1

Maria

I have always loved Maxi Cosi, I am having a hard time right now since I have the Pria 3 in 1. My baby is 3 and weights apporx 36lb however the belf does not fit her anymore and it is not adjustable

Torn at the seams under six months.

Atlas&kin

I have four car seats, the Bugaboo Nuna, Diono Radion QXT and two Maxi Cosi Pria Max. The only one that was torn at the seams is our Maxi Cosi. The Bugaboo is washed monthly, the Diono was washed three times and the Maxi Cosi didn't even hold up to less than six months and two washes… ridiculous. Worst part is it's difficult to find replacement covers. We have three car seats for one toddler simply because we travel to our different homes and would rather have one in each location, although the Maxi Cosi has been used the least, it does not hold up as well as the Diono or the Nuna.

Great Convertible Car Seat

Ljstoner007

I would highly recommend this convertible car seat for anyone that wants to keep his child safe while traveling in the car. My son is two and a half years old and weighs about 35 lb. This car seat is very durable with many features to use as your child grows. I like the fact that riding in the backwards position it has three different levels. My son rides forward and it's perfect positioning in my car it's said his long legs don't kick the back of my seat. I also love the fact it comes with two cup holders and the headrest changes so it fits to my sons body perfectly. I would highly recommend this car seat

Well-made, attractive car seat

Traceinvader

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat. This is a well-designed, attractive car seat. While it is wider and a bit bulkier than competitors, it actually felt lighter. The fabric is very soft, the harness is easy to adjust and snap, and the strap covers are easy to take on and off. The fabric is easy to remove and clean. I did have to install it in the middle seat of my SUV (X5), as it would not fit behind my passenger seat. Two people could still fit in each seat next to the car seat, though. All in all, a luxurious, easy-to-use car seat that looks good as well.

Great Carseat

Jace

We bought this carseat for our first born. We loved it so much we decided to get one for our second child. Once we transitioned our kids out of their infant carseats, both of our children adpted great to the Maxi Cosi. Compared to other brands of Convertible carseats weve had, the Maxi Cosi's straps are a lot easier to losen & tighten. The maxi-cosi's material is also faily soft and does not irriate our boys skin, like previous carseats have done. One of the major reasons we bought maxi-cosi carseats is because of the Pure Cosi line with no added flame retardant chemicals. Upon delivery, the carseat did not have any harsh smells out of the box. The carseat is also very easy to install & clean.

Great product!!

mwrab11

I received the seat from the weespring parent panel in exchange for my review! For starters my absolute favorite feature is the weight. The seat is extremely light compared to many other seats I have used over time with three children. It was easy to buckle the latch system in to the seat, but tightening the seat in to place was very hard. The straps and harness were simple to adjust and the headrest moves with just the push of a button! Overall I love the seat, just wish the latch belt tightened easier and there was a level for visually seeing that the seat is correctly installed!

Absolutely loved, until

Nicole

I absolutely loved this car seat as it was a baby shower gift from my Mom. I would've gave it one star but because of the quality of the actual seat itself I gave it two. At almost 300 dollars the cushioning itself should not fade like our black one did. Along the rim of the top the color is completely different and looks terrible!! For such an expensive seat you would think they would last but don't be fooled. Maybe it's the material idk. I wanted this seat to grow with my daughter since my mother bought it and has since passed but it doesn't look like that will be happening now.

Product quality diminished such a shame

Unhappy repeat customer

I bought my first pria all in one mid 2022, was forced to replace it due to an accident. What a shame! The version that i just received has velcro instead of button snaps and all around seems less plush. The velcro version allows the shoulders of the child to rub against exposed screws! What a rip off MaxiCosi! When you buy an expensive car seat you are hoping to get a quality product, if i wanted a cheaper quality i would pay less money. Instead i was made to pay the same i paid originally for a lesser version without being told that the product had changed. Furthermore, the MaxiCosi website lists the Pria as a best seller, but there is no Pria car seat cover removal and installation video on the youtube channel. Which makes no sense!

A car seat that does it all!

Jessica C

We were gifted this car seat to replace our infant car seat that our little babe is starting to outgrow. We are thrilled with this seat because it can grow with our little one. It has the ability to go read facing, front facing, and has a booster. Plus we love how easy it was to install and adjust. It literally only took maybe 5 minutes to set up and latch in. We just took our first road trip with the new seat and little miss seemed to be comfy and cozy in her new seat. We love how cushioned and protective it is and she loves the cup holder!

Maxi Cosi does it again!

Cristina

I received this product free from the weespeing parent panel. Max cosi has always been a luxury brand and was super pumped to be able to test this. The box it came in was damaged but the product was still intact upon arriving to me. My husband set it up and reported that the directions were very confusing for a rear facing infant. We were able to figure it out. My son is 10 months and fits in the seat without the padding inserts. Those options are great for very little ones. The fabric is so soft and breathable. We live in AZ and my son would swear in the infant seat! We've gone out in triple digit heat and he's stayed dry! The buckles secured him nice and snug and I feel so great he's in safe product. I can't wait to continue to use this as he grows and explore all the new options!

I wouldn't buy or recommend this product

Diaz

I use this car seat for a back up and it is very in safe!! The buckle for the hardness are so easy to slide that my little one can move it. So it's not doing anything to keep her safe!

Everything I wanted!

Live

I love this car seat! I have had my eye on it since pregnancy, we had a maxi cosi infant car seat & now that my daughter is 9 months it was time to upgrade & this seat is perfect! Super easy to install, straps are very easily adjustable. Infant inserts are easy to take out. Very comfortable for my daughter. Very happy I made this purchase & even happier I made it on the maxi cosi website as that is where is got the best deal! & now I get a chance to win a #sweepstakes? What a BIG WIN!

Wonderful Car Seat

JFerg425

We received the Pria 3-in-1 car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel for free to test out. It was pretty easy to install and the best part about it is the wideness of the straps and the pad that is on the buckle. The shoulder pads were way too bulky, they looked as if they were suffocating my daughter so we opted not to use those. Definitely love this car seat way better than our Graco seat, my daughter seems to be so much more comfortable in this Pria seat.

Comfortable seat!

Alex

My son loves this seat. It's very comfortable for him. He is 1 and still rear facing. The seat is a little on the heavy side, and a little big when in the car. The recline isn't ideal although my son doesn't need the "newborn" recline you would have to use a rolled towel or pool noodle to get the proper install for a newborn. It is easy to install and washer/dryer safe. The cups are machine washable. And the fabric is very soft and plush.

A must have

Dani B

This is the car seat. Honestly, you don't need any other car seats after owning this one. It's so comfy, it grows with your baby, saves you money because you don't have to buy another car seat, booster seat etc for your kids. This is my favorite car seat out of all of the car seats I've owned. I wish my other two kids had this car seat when they were at the age for car seats. I'd 100% recommend this!!!

Great carseat, suffers a similar flaw of most.

Andrew_CO

This car seat is great. The fabric is soft and easy to clean. The cushioning of the seat is comfortable yet obviously protective. The sidewalls come up a little further which seems like a safer fit, yet can make it a little tougher to wrestle the LO into the seat when he's not in the mood. The infant cushion headrest and back support are nice for fit, but do slip down if the LO is bouncing around while trying to get him into the seat. Overall this seat offer great protection, is comfortable and easy to clean. It is lighter weight than our other seat and will be great for taking traveling. The only complaint is the LATCH strap/tightener is tough to get tight enough. I'm not a small guy and it took all my weight and several pulls to get it as tight as I wanted it. I do not think my wife or mother would be able to safely install this seat into their cars. I received this item as part of the weeSpring parent panel.

Sturdy and easy to use

Kelly

This car seat is awesome! It's super light, which you can't say about every car seat. I also appreciate that at lasts until kids are 10. My 18-month-old fits in it comfortably and setup and installation was a breeze. It's also pretty easy to get him in and out, and the cup holders are great for snacks. It's a good investment for a car seat.

Already bought 2!

Lindsey

#sweepstakes We were in the market for a new convertible car seat and after already trying two other brands I can say this one is our FAVORITE. It definitely satisfies my boujee side, it's comfortable for the kids and the infant inserts make my 4 mo old snug and safe. We already purchased 2 and are going to buy more for our second vehicle.

Best All in one out there!!

Lindy R.

I love this seat. The material feels so nice so I don't feel bad making my child sit in it, it is comfy. It is easy to adjust to make sure my baby is secure in the seat. I love that we don't have to worry about buying another seat as they get older because this one can be used until they're old enough to be without the seat! I am impressed!

Definitely getting a second car seat for my husband's car

Grandma

I love this car seat. I did expected to be a lighter shade of pink but it's darker in person. It's still really pretty. I love the padding on it. It looks super comfy. The only thing that I didn't like was that it's a little hard to put your hand through the back to strap it down. Other than that, I have no complaints.

One Plush Car Seat!

ddrum

The Maxi-Cosi Pria lives up to its name by being super plush and comfortable. It's got lots of padding on every surface of the seat, and my little one just loves snuggling in during car rides. It's a premium car seat, with great features like easily removable latch attachment points and holders for the straps when you're getting the kid seated. One tip on the latch attachments-they don't have the arrows indicated in the manual, but you want the nice looking sides to be up. I was particularly impressed by the height adjustment on this seat, which will make it really easy for the seat to grow with my child. Since this seat is very plush, it does take up more space than other models. I also prefer starting my infant in a click-base removable seat when they are little, since it's much easier to take them along without having to remove the buckles. The All-In-Ones are then great for the rest of the time. If you're looking for a plush and full-featured car seat, the Maxi-Cosi Pria is a great option.

Soft, Comfy, and Easy to Clean!

AJBeckwith

The Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat came into my life right before my baby Teddy turned 1, and we both are so into his new rear facing big kid car seat. There are so many little things that make it a great choice. Easy enough to install and adjust to Teddy's size (according to my husband, this is not my area of expertise). The cup holders are easy to remove, and also fit in a Thomas train or a pacifier if your baby isn't toting around a sippy yet. The fabric is so soft and plush that I would happily sit in it myself. I will say we removed some of the extra padding on the straps because my husband and I thought it made it a little too bulky. Personal call, took 5 seconds so easy to do. The straps are great, and don't get tangled at all. On our way to a birthday party last weekend, we had to pass some winding mountain roads— I can now testify that the fabric is easy to remove, clean, and fit back on. So no worries if you have a heavy spitter, a kid who spills their after school snack, or need to deal with the occasional car sick kiddo!

Disappointed

After reading such great reviews we decided to purchase MaxiCosi Pria. We have only had this carseat for 6 months and the fabric is already fraying ; ripped and peeling away from the padding. Very disappointing.

Definitely Cozy!

I was so excited to receive this car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel! When I first unboxed it, I was amazed by the material—with car seats, safety is the number one concern, so that Maxi Cosi has managed to make the Pria 3 in 1 look luxurious too is fairly impressive. The straps and pads are wide so that they lay flat on my 9 month old's shoulders and chest. She is a squirmy girl, so this feature kept her comfortable and not fighting the restraints. I clipped her in quickly and we were our way. I think my favorite part is the ability to wash the fabric. Especially since it grows with the babe, years of accidents and spills can take its toll—so being able to actually clean a car seat is a blessing. It definitely will take two hands to get it off and on though—so hand off your kiddo. One piece of advice: read the instructions BEFORE putting the car seat in the car. The set up isn't difficult as long as you read the instructions, but I was so excited to get it in the car that I threw it in and hoped for the best...then took it out, read the manual, and started again!

My go to seat!

My daughter is almost 3 & we still love this seat! Only problem we've had is the cover coming apart but maxi Cosi has been great & replaced it. I would still recommend/buy this seat over & over again!

I used to love this car seat, but the foam headholder just broke, I have been trying to get support by email and calls and recieved no answer… have it for less than 2 years

So no worries if you have a heavy spitter, a kid who spills their after school snack, or need to deal with the occasional car sick kiddo. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this seat to try.

This car seat is beyond amazing! So beautiful, sturdy and very practical for growing babies-toddlers. I am very satisfied with this purchase

Best car seat out there

We absolutely love that the car seat can grow with our baby and we do not have to constantly buy a new one.

It works from 4-100 pounds

I can't believe 1 seat will last my baby for years! Best purchase I have made to date for my kids!

Awesome high quality car seat for all stages

We received the Pria 3-in-1 car seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel & we were so excited when it finally arrived. With two babies under two, we've tried our fair share of convertible car seats and were thrilled when this one showed up on our doorstep. From the first moment we took it out of the box, we were in love. The lovely gray fabric was perfect & neutral and you could tell immediately that it was a high quality material. There are two cup holders within an arm's reach of my almost two year old. Because he's a toddler, we had to remove much of the extra padding and inserts that are made for newborn use. The best part about this car seat was how easy it was to install! I was able to do it by myself, clicked the latch locks into the seat in my van and that was it! I was able to tighten it fairly easily and didn't have to put all my body weight on it like I've had to do with other seats or take off the cover to get to thr belt path. My son was comfortable in it and seemed to love it from his first ride. We highly recommend the Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat for anyone looking for a high quality, durable & neutral colored car seat from a reputable company. You won't be disappointed!

Very easy to install.

Improvement on forward facing child, my daughter tilts toward when she falls asleep.

No complaints here!

alisonw

The new Pria 3-in-1 is a fantastic seat - I have no complaints. One of the best features is that it grows with your child from newborn all the way to 100 pounds. My almost 4 yr old toddler was very comfortable in it through a couple long road trips. The seat comes with a couple of inserts for babies and rear facing children, so I am confident if I used it for my 2 yr old toddler, she would be just as comfortable and safe. It was simple to install, the cover is machine washable (I didn't test this, but I'm glad I don't have to handwash!), the fabric is smooth and soft, and the cupholders are removable (for dishwashing). Also comes with plush strap covers. I really loved the strap holders that keep the belt out of the way while loading and unloading. Super easy to adjust the harness and headrest, as well as the recline. The only issue one might have is with the overall size. I installed it in my minivan which is no problem, but if space is a concern (like you need to do multiple seats in a row), I would double check the dimensions with your particular car. Overall, this seat is of high quality, safe, and has details that make parents' lives easier. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Car Seat to review!

Plush Convertible Seat (and the cover is washable!!)

Charleenie

The Pria 3-in-1 is a great seat for all ages! From a looks perspective, it is very plush and cushioned and my 17 month old seems very comfortable in his seat (and can use it for quite some time since the weight limit goes up to 100 lbs). It is attractive and luxurious looking while still being at a moderate price point. The dual cup holders are a great feature - not necessary but definitely a perk! And I really like that you can take them out to wash them when they get a little funky - and we know they do! The installation of the seat was very simple - I used the latch clips rear-facing and it took minutes. The seat does come with additional cushion supports for infants, but I didn't use them since my toddler was big enough to ride without them. The adjustable headrest is great - with the push of a lever the shoulder harness/head cushion portion raises and lowers to the needed height without having to rethread anything. With another lever, the seat can also be reclined or raised to be at the right level. The BEST part is that you can take the seat cushion off and wash it - and it's pretty easy to remove/replace the cover (so you're not fighting with the car seat in your driveway). Full disclosure- I received this product for free to review through the weeSpring Parent Panel but would have definitely purchased on my own.

3 in 1 Amazing "MARSHMALLOW"

sgogerty

Thank you to the WeeSpring Parent Panel we graciously received this amazing 3 in 1 car seat for free. At first I believed this seat would be bulky and heavy just like every seat I feel like we have used for our 3 kids! Let me just tell you this thing is SURPRISINGLY light weight and sleek. The ease of installment was also a huge game changer we can easily pop this in and out of different cars workout fuss. Next the soft fabric (which also has a marshmallow squish to it !!!) can be removed in a breeze and washed ( which after the first 5 minutes in the seat we had to do and fabric looks just like new still ). The actual buckle and straps are amazing and by this I mean the buckle stays upright when placing your child in the seat so you more sticking my hand under my kids butt to fish for a buckle while the pull my hair and laugh !!! And the straps can so so so easily be placed on the sides of the seat in the allotted slots so they also stay out of the way making in and out of the car with a 2 year old 4 year old and 6 month old a breeze now. Lastly this seat really has been a game change for us I am very excited to use this for all 3 and purchase another because we do currently has fights over who seats in the "marshmallow" ! I can't express enough how nice this seat feels and how I feel safe with the installment and the way my child looks and fits in the seat !

Amazing quality

We were gifted the Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat from weeSpring as part of their parent panel. We already had an infant car seat that I really liked, so I had very high expectations. It's safe to say that this seat blew those expectations out of the water! You can tell immediately from opening the box that this car seat is of exceptional quality. The material is super soft, plush, and beautiful colors(we have the gray version) that are totally gender neutral... a big bonus in our house. Since this was my first time using a convertible car seat, I had to rely on the instructions to place it in the infant position as well as installing in our car. Thankfully the instructions are very easy to understand which makes me 100% confident that I'm using the seat correctly and safely for my little one. Once it came time to try it out with my son, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable he seemed right away! He would always fuss for a minute or two when he went in his other seat... but with the Maxi Cosi he was seriously all smiles and then fell asleep in a matter of minutes. It makes me feel good that he's so comfortable now!! Other than the great quality and ease of use, I have to mention how awesome it is that you can wash the fabric. Not sure why this isn't standard with all brands, but it's totally genius. We look forward to using this amazing car seat for years to come and have already recommended to all of our friends!

The All in One Long Term Seat!

ALudwig

As a parent of twins toddlers (2.5 year old), I am always looking for convertible car seats that are easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to install! The Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 checks most of those boxes! Initially when I pulled the car seat out of the box, I loved the feel of the plush fabric and all of the inserts that make the seat fit any newborn. I went to put it in my car, and immediately went to raise the headrest/harness (which was very easy to do!) before installing the seat. The install is relatively easy, but it did take me a while to get a tight fit with less than 1 inch of movement from the belt path. However, once it was installed, it stayed installed correctly for quite some time -- not always the case with other seats. Since I received this seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel, one of my boys was excited to test his "new car seat." He climbed in and immediately loved the easy-to-access cup holders (not always common on other seats!). It was easy to put him in and take him out, though tightening the harness was sometimes a challenge and I did have to pull over and over again to make sure the straps passed the pinch test. I did not have time to wash the seat, but I did attempt to take the cover on and off, which was SUPER simple! Plus, I love that this seat will transform to a booster down the road, making it truly the only car seat you could ever need! Overall, I thought this was an excellent seat choice for people who want to use one seat for a LONG time!

AMAZING Car Seat that grows with your Child!!

hope882006

My son was having to ride in my daughter's old convertible car seat, I guess that comes with being the second child. But, Thanks to WeeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this infant car seat, he is no longer in a pink car seat. The Pria 3 in 1 Convertible car seat is so easy to install. It has the easy install clips to hook it in the car, and it makes taking the car seat out a breeze! I think that might be my absolute favorite feature. When you send the kids to the grandparents for the weekend, it makes it so nice to just push the clips and remove the car seat. I don't dread taking the car seat out of the car now. The buckle and harness straps are so easy to put on the child and to remove. I love how in the middle I can adjust the straps to make it easier to put it on my son, and it's just as easy to tighten the straps. The adjustable heat rest is so exciting because we won't need to buy another car seat for my son. I love that it will be a great forward-facing car seat, and that it will turn into a high back booster when the time comes. This is such a life saver and money saver for parents! The fabric is a nice neutral gray color, and my son was so exciting to get in it. Speaking of the fabric, it is so easy to remove that we can wash it whenever the need arises. It is even adjustable to where we can recline him or sit him up. The cup holders are easy to remove and are dishwasher safe. I cannot say enough good things about the Pria 3 in 1 Convertible car seat! Thank you WeeSpring for providing me with this infant car seat!!

Easy to install, easy to adjust for growing tots!

Installing car seats properly is one of the most annoying / stressful parts of being a parent. Not only can they be difficult to install, but I'm often left wondering if I installed it properly. I realize that you can take your car to the local fire department for inspection, but I didn't find that tactic to be all that helpful the last time I tried. So when I assessed the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat I was looking for two main things: 1) Is it easy to install? 2) Is it easy to know if I've installed it properly? I would give it 5 stars for being easy to install. I used it rear facing as my baby is only 11 months old. I would give it 3 stars as I had to second guess if I installed it properly - did I pull the latch strap tight enough? I have used a Nuna and Chicco car seat for my older child, both of which have indicators that clearly show if the car seat is installed properly. It is very easy to adjust the harness and the headrest - this is a great feature as no parent has the time to re-thread straps of a bulky, heavy car seat every time their child grows which seems to happen in a blink of an eye. I like the idea of a washable fabric - in the case of this specific seat, I did not have the need to take off the cover and wash it. At first glance, it looks easy enough to do so. I also liked that the cup holders are removable and dishwasher safe as those get gross over time. Lastly, the quick set up / installation guides that Maxi Cosi provided are super and easy to understand so you don't really need to read the whole instruction book.

Washable and comfy convertible car seat? Yes, please!

Maxi Cosi is a brand that I have heard over and over again and I finally understand why it's so popular! I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I cannot contain my excitement. The seat cover is extremely comfortable and almost has a memory foam feeling to it making my daughter less likely to get fussy on longer car rides. There are strap holders which means no more untucking it from under my daughter and it's incredibly easy to loosen and tighten. It's also really easy to remove and machine-washable (I just have to unsnap it), which is an absolute necessity for when my daughter gets older. It also has removable cupholders that are dishwasher-safe making it really easy to clean the whole car seat. The car seat is also VERY easy to install. The latch system attaches to my car's anchor points and is easily adjustable ensuring my daughter's safety and caters to my parental nuisances. Its button is really easy to press making installation that much easier. I used to dread installing my daughter's infant car seat because the alligator clips were really stiff and difficult to latch onto the anchor points. It's really difficult to choose a favorite feature because I can honestly say anything I mentioned before is one, but the one that tops the list is the fact that it's convertible and will last until my daughter is until she's 100 lbs, which is a HUGE cost-saver! Now when it comes to its areas of improvement, adjusting the headrest and inclination requires two hands as it sometimes gets stuck in the fabric. Overall, it's a great convertible car seat!

weeSpring Parent Panel & our new favorite car seat

workathomemama

We were given this Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and it's our new favorite car seat! With our baby being almost a year old we have been contemplating getting another car seat, and we'd look no further than the Maxi Cosi Pria. This car seat is rated from birth to 85 pounds and it is perfect when considering an all in one car seat. Pros: Overall the car seat is very plush and looks extremely comfortable. The fabric is a gorgeous color. It is very easy to tighten the straps while bucking child in the backseat —way easier than our infant car seat. One of my favorite features of this car seat is that it reclines in 3 positions to grow with your child. This is especially helpful when they're little so their head doesn't slump down. Installation took just a few minutes longer than expected but we wanted to make sure we did it 100% correct. The directions were very clear, easy to understand and follow. The Pria comes with a lot of options for easy cleaning. The cover is machine washable and the cup holders are removable. This is going to be a huge advantage in the future. Cons: It could just be because I am a "first time mama" but I couldn't figure out the inserts. I wasn't sure when babies stopped using the additional head and back support. ????‍♀️ She looks too big for it, but when I take them out she looks too small. The directions didn't really help guide me. We wound up leaving them in to be safe. Thank you so much to weeSpring parent panel and maxicosi for selecting us to try and review this car seat we look forward to using it for many years to come!

The ONLY car seat you will ever need!

The Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat has saved my sanity!!!! My daughter has HATED the car ever since birth. She would scream at the top of her lungs the entire car ride to the point that I didn't even want to leave the house. Every time we removed her from the infant car seat we had at the time she would be drenched in sweat. We knew it was time to change her into a much more comfortable seat and the Pria came to our rescue just in time! Comfort is so important when it comes to car seats because a happy baby means a peaceful and more relaxed car ride and of course happy parents! I can ensure you that this seat is one of the most comfortable seats I've seen on the market. Plush, soft and breathable fabric that helps baby to relax and fall asleep on long rides. The infant inserts are snug and make baby feel secure. Once we switched to the Pria my daughter actually fell asleep in the car which was such a huge milestone for us! My only complaint is the shoulder pads are big and bulky and the Velcro doesn't stick very well causing them to fall off easily. It would be ideal to have the shoulder pads sewn into the straps rather than stick on. The fabric is also easy to remove and machine washable which is an awesome feature for all the blow outs we have experienced! We used LATCH system to install and the instructions were very easy to follow. Even for a busy mom who doesn't really know how to install many things! The headrest and harness are easy to adjust for growing baby and it's so nice to know we can use this car seat for many years to come. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat!!!

Finally a car seat my baby likes!

I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and giving my review. I had been searching for a convertible carseat for my little one for awhile because he was quickly outgrowing his rear facing car seat, so I was ecstatic to be chosen. He is a tiny terror when it comes to riding in a car seat so I was optimistic that a larger seat would make him more comfortable. When I received the Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat the first thing I noticed was the cushioning. I had read reviews on it and I was pleasantly surprised that they were extremely accurate. It is cushioned like a baby sofa or recliner. I also really liked the idea of the straps adjusting to his height without having to take them out. The car seat was very intuitive and easy to install. Most features I could figure out without the manual. He loved the padded strap covers and also that he now sits up higher and can look out of the windows easier. The height of the seat is fantastic for getting him out also so that I don't have to bend over far. The leg straps were a comfortable fit for his chunky thighs. The fabric is very soft and the color is neutral. I like the different shades of grey. It gives it an updated look. It is easy to spot clean the seat and even though I haven't taken the cover off to wash, it appears to be pretty easy. I am very excited to see this car seat grow with him since it goes to 100 pounds. He is hard to please for an eight month old but so far he has been a lot happier to ride in the car. I would highly recommend this car seat to anyone who is looking for comfort, convenience, safety features, and appearance in a convertible car seat.

Great Convertible Car Seat

Katy L.

This is our first Maxi-Cosi car seat and I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail of this seat. The fabric feels very high-quality and plush. It is very easy to remove the cover and wash and put back on (i usually forget where all are the hooks go, but it was easy to see and remember where all these went). I greatly appreciate the little details of this seat - the clasps on the side to hold the straps while you put your child in, the removable cup holders that are dishwasher safe, the position of the buckle release on the top buckle is in the front (which is easier for grandparents to release vs. the release being on the top of the buckle), and the multiple recline positions available in rear facing. My 9 month old and 4 yr old enjoy seeing each other and I am able to put in the 2nd position so she can see him. The car seat feels very safe with the extra plushy fabric and extremely easy to install with one click latches (there is even an image on the top buckle of where the buckle should be positioned - which is great reminder for first timers). The only thing I would note is that it is a bulky seat (especially in 3rd position recline). If you have a smaller car, it will be a tight squeeze, but I would not say it is any more bulkier than other forever or 3-in-1 seats, just something to keep in mind. It is however the lightest 3-in-1 seat I have ever picked up. It is also the easiest one I have had to carry, usually they are very awkward to get a good grip on. I highly recommend this seat to anyone looking at 3-in-1s. I am very impressed with this seat and thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat.

Great Multi Use Seat

cbpross

The Pria 3-n-1 is a great seat that my kids found very comfortable while I loved the safety and easy installation. The cover on the seat is extremely plush and soft and the fabric is machine washable which is helpful when the inevitable happens ??! I removed the cover on the seat and replaced it all easily. It has snaps and hooks that are very straightforward. This seat was a breeze to install rear facing and didn't take up much room when sitting upright. I liked that the sides are low enough that I don't have to lift up high to put them in the seat and the headrest adjusts the harness easily for quick adjustments. There are strap holders on the side to keep the harness out of the way when loading and unloading which is very helpful when your toddler suddenly turns into an octopus and is attempting to launch themselves from the seat as you are buckling them in. The side impact protection seems extremely sturdy and I feel confident in the safety of this seat. I do wish the harness was a little stiffer and didn't twist so easily. There are 2 options for recline when rear facing which is great when space is a premium in the car. We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and did have issues installing it forward facing due to the angle of our seats and the headrest. I couldn't get the seat to sit flush without having a lot of overhang. When my 5 year old tried it as a booster, it was hard for her to buckle it herself because the base was wide and she sat so far forward in the seat. I tend to look for multi use car seats because it allows flexibility when moving seats around, riding with friends and options as kids grow. Did I say that the seat was a dream to install rear facing? Because it actually took me 30 seconds and I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this seat to test out.

First Class Comfort

Car seats are like airline seats in that the cheaper seat will work but it may be worth upgrading to a better seat. The Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is worth the upgrade. This car seat has a luxurious feel to it. It kind of reminds me of a memory foam bed. There are so many other reasons to love this car seat too. Machine washable cover: because who wants to spot clean them? Thankfully, I haven't removed the cover yet to wash but it is easy to wipe clean and sweep. There is no break in the fabric at the back of the seat so food doesn't get stuck which makes it easy to vacuum. One step adjustable harness/headrest: the fact that I only have to click a button and pull up to adjust the harness straps and headrest makes life so easy. I remember dreading when our oldest got bigger because we had to re-thread the harness straps. No fun. Strap holders: I have wanted these for so long. Gone are the days of my kids sitting on straps and me having to dig around to get them situated. Plus, they don't hurt themselves on the hot metal parts. Win-Win. Built-in removable cup holders: because cleaning them without removing them is really hard. We are a family of 5 so we are three car seats deep in the back of my SUV. I mention that because this car seat is not the smallest on the market BUT I was able to make it fit with my other two. So no sacrificing comfort for my littlest passenger. This also means that I (by I, I mean my husband) couldn't use the latch system to install BUT it was still pretty easy to install. I think it took him 10 mins or so. Overall I would recommend this car seat to new parents. I love that I can use it for a long time. No one wants to buy multiple different car seats. Plus, you get an upgraded seat (feel/comfort/amenities) for a price that is very comparable to similar products. Huge thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat to review. I am forever grateful.

The only seat you will ever need.

I received the Maxi-Cosi Pria 3-in-1 car seat in a timely manner, when unboxing everything was nicely packed, protected and easy to find. Now initially I was not sure if I was going to use this seat for my 6 month old or almost three year old, so once unboxed in the house I had both kiddos test it out. I personally loved that it accommodates all the way down to 4 pound babies and has the little foam booster included (Our newest addition to the family came a month early and was only 5 pounds) when taking her home from the hospital the nurses had to roll a small towel to place under her booty to ensure she was safe in the carseat we had at the time. Had we had this Maxi-Cosi Pria that would not have been the case since they had already considered that and had the foam booster in place. After letting both kids test it out I decided that i was going to use it for my almost 3 year old as for me it is easier getting her in and out of my pickup in this style of car seat than it is my 6 month old. She was thrilled. The seat was installed in the back seat of my pickup with ease. Making the needed adjustments to get it forward facing and at the right height was a breeze with the easy to read quick start guide, owners book and, printed instructions on the side of the seat. The fabric seems to be super plush and soft, my daughter says its super comfortable compared to her past seat. One of my favorite features of this seat compared to others we have used in the past is that the shoulder belt pads have an extra bit of length to them for the sternum clasp to rest on. This is an awesome feature for us because on prior seats my daughter had always fought the clasp because it hurt. This seat also has padding around the buckle in the genital region for extra comfort as well. The strap holders are large and easy to access for belt storage when loading and unloading her. I received this item for my honest review as apart of the weeSpring parent panel.

The Pria takes the headaches out of car seats!

PreenC

Right out of the box, you can tell the Pria 3-in-one Convertible is niiiice. It's sleek, the fabric is dense and soft and smooth all at the same time, and my favorite part: the glide of the buckles. I've found that the when it comes to car seats, it pays to get one with the little extra luxuries and the Pria fits that bill. After all, you use it daily! Who needs the cheaper sticky buckles that cramp your thumbs to undo? The Pria eliminates that headache. Who needs a cover so intricate that it takes a you tube video to get off and on? The Pria eliminates that headache too. And if you've installed one car seat as a parent, why should you need a study guide to install another? The Pria eliminates that complexity too. Suffice to say, I love this car seat. It's so user-friendly and intuitive and Maxi Cosi thought of those little things - the buckles, the detachable cupholders, the strap holders, the easy way to adjust the height, it's just niiiice. My husband installed the Pria for my 15 month old a few weeks ago - she's rear facing. He didn't grumble and complain the way he typically does for our other seats, and commented that he'd "get another one." Yesterday we let her have a yogurt pouch while heading home and of course, after eating a little, she painted her legs and the car seat in yogurt. Uggghhhh. Off the cover went and into the wash. We let it air dry and it looked as good as new. The next morning, I had forgotten all about the car seat and FINALLY got us out of the house with minutes to spare, only to see my little one's car seat in the garage, uncovered. I believe a cursed under my breath. I rush led into the laundry room, put the cover on the car seat with no you tube guidance, installed it with the latch system and belt, and we were off. I could've won a contest. My only con- in the wash, some stitching came undone on the seat. I'll fix it before another wash. Thanks to WeeSpring Parent Panel for this great opportunity to try out the Pria!

A Very Comfortable Ride

We have been using our Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat for about 2 weeks now and it has definitely grown on me over that time. My initial reaction when I took it out of the box was WOW, this is SO BEAUTIFUL! I can't put my kid in here.... but of course, I had to. This seat is definitely very plush and well cushioned. One of my qualms with the seat is that the pads on the shoulder straps are too plush and too large. It makes them impossible to keep in place with a smaller child (we have been using the seat primarily on our 25 lb, average height, 18 month old). After about 4 days, I gave up and took them off, replacing them with a couple from another seat we have. They are just too thick and long to stay in place when you are placing an octopus in her car seat. However, I do love the cover for the receiver between the legs. It definitely helps avoid pinching little legs when buckling. The seat itself is much more substantial (read: heavy) than our other seats but less heavy than another 3 in 1 seat we had previously that is made for narrow cars. I would not want to drag this thing through an airport, definitely too heavy for that. I love that there are 3 levels of recline: reclined, semi-reclined, and upright. It's nice to have 2 options for rear facing. My 18 month old doesn't have to be laying back but a baby with less head control would be very safe without needing to use a pool noodle in the installation to achieve more recline. The cupholders that are dishwasher safe and very easy to remove (but not so easy that the kids can pull them out) are amazing. They are well within an 18 month old's reach, as compared to another seat we have that has a cupholder that attaches to the side, barely within my 3 year old's reach. Speaking of her, our 3 year old loved the seat, loved the cupholders, and wouldn't get out until she was forced. It must be a very comfortable seat! A big thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for letting us test out this seat.

Comfy, Secure & Safe - Just Hope You Don't Have To Wash It!

I knew it was time... but I had been dreading changing our little one's carseat from her infant seat to a convertible seat, because 1) it's a more "permanent" fixture in your car and 2) it meant she WAS getting bigger. :-( I was excited to get to try the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, as it forced us to move forward with this change. When I first received the carseat, I was really impressed. At first glance, the material is very nice and you can tell it has great support. I liked that the seat had 2 removable cup holders and looked very sturdy. When we tried out the seat, our daughter had just gotten over being sick (or so we thought), but 10 minutes later, she got sick all over herself, my clean car and the BRAND NEW Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (UGH!!). Nonetheless, this gave us the opportunity to see what the cleaning process would be like. 1st - my husband took the carseat apart and said it was NOT an easy process. The straps were the hardest part. My husband is a very handy guy and works as a technician. The fact that he had difficulty dismantling the seat is a statement in itself. 2nd - I got to do the pre-wash/hand-washing portion. This was also a pain. Due to the cushion of the fabric being SO absorbent, it was hard to pre-treat and try to scrub the vomit (EWW!) out of the material. Once done, I let the fabric sit in a tub to drain the water that wouldn't squeeze out before I put it in the washing machine. In the end, I was able to get the stains out. 3rd - reassembling was also difficult. It does not look like it's brand new by the fit of the seat the 2nd time around and the wrinkles from the laundering process. Don't get me wrong, it's still a VERY nice carseat and no one else could probably ever tell. Therefore, I'd rate the seat 4 stars due to the value, safety, security and comfiness it provides to our little girl! Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat to try and review!

Comfy Carseat with Added Features

Estrout

Getting into the car has been a pain with my little one since day one. She cries and fights every single time I put her in and buckle her. We had tried a couple different brands and finally figured we would just have to endure until she was old enough to not need a car seat anymore. That was until the Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat entered our lives. She loved it right away! She has never cried getting into it, which that alone makes it worth it for me. I could tell that she was immediately comfortable in the seat. The padding felt memory foam like to me and the fabric was soft and smooth to the tough. It came in a grey color that was gender neutral that perfectly fit my style. Buckling her was also a dream. It was super easy to adjust. It took all of 30 seconds to adjust it to my daughter's height and pull the straps to the correct tightness. I love that it comes with a buckle cover. This will keep her from getting burned in the summer and prevent rubbing and chaffing of her thighs. I only wish it could be secured down because it tends to move around a lot and came up multiple times. It is easy to put back into place though. There are also strap holders to hold the straps off to the side to make getting in and out of the seat easier. My daughter needs the straps too tight so they don't reach the holders yet but I look forward to when I can use them to make the transitions more convenient. It was difficult to install in our truck. Its was wide enough that it covered both metal anchors and that made it challenging to reach and make tight. My husband worked at it and was able to do so but I wouldn't have been able to do so alone. I found the price point to be comparable with others in its class and perfect for its excellent quality. Overall, I love this car seat for its comfort, ease of use, look, and added features. It truly makes car rides much more enjoyable. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this car seat to try and review.

A multi-featured car seat that will grow with your child

BayAreaDad

I am a research geek, so when I was given the opportunity to try out a new car seat, I jumped at the chance! One of the first things I noticed was that this was rated for 4-100 lbs. I was excited to see how a seat like this handled the different age ranges, as I had the opportunity to test this with my 2.5-year-old son (35 lbs) and also a friend's 7-year-old (55 lbs). Installation: I used the seat front-facing. Overall, I found the installation pretty straight forward. I used the rear tether and the seat belt through the loop. I did play with the latches just to see how they looked and function. One gripe was that it was a little difficult to get the latches to unclip on the underside of where they were stored. Harness Holders: Loved this feature! I don't know how many times I've had a situation where the harness was inside the car seat when I was trying to get my son into it. This really helps keep the harness out of the way for ease of getting my son in and out of the seat. Adjustable Headrest: This was a godsend when I was switching out my son for my friend's older child. I don't know how many times I've had to re-thread harness holes every time my son got taller. This really makes it a cinch to adjust between children if you have multiple kids. Seat: The leg area of the seat is angled up which helped position my son's legs a little further away from the front seat. I also liked the shallow sides which allowed it to be easier for my son to child into by himself. Cupholders: Ok, this is where I was a bit disappointed. Although there were 2 built-in cup holders, they were too small to fit any of the cups my son used. They ended up being relegated to snack food holders. Overall, I found this seat packed a lot of features, and really allows you the chance to only buy one car seat that will grow with your child. Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this car seat to try and test. I'm really looking forward to continuing using it!

Maxi cosi pria

I was very excited to receive the Maxi Cosi Pria convertible car seat to try from Stellar Product testing panel. I have always heard good things about Maxi Cosi and their quality. When I unboxed the carseat I was surprised at how nice it looked. No busy patterns or colors. Just a nice solid colored cozy looking seat. It looks and feels like a high end product. It’s very soft and includes padding around the shoulder straps and bottom buckle. There is an included head cushion and body pillow for rear facing. All the pads and the cover are machine washable as well. The car seat was very straightforward and easy to install. It’s also very easy to adjust to fit your kiddo as they grow. I appreciate the two cupholders it comes with and how easy it is it get my big boy in the seat. He has lots of extra leg room. Overall, the simple and modern design makes me feel secure that my toddler is safe and cozy. He’ll be able to use this convertible car seat for a long time as the max weight limit is 100lbs. Highly recommend.

Safe comfortable and mom approved

I’m really happy with the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat overall. What I love most is that it grows with your child, so it feels like something you can truly rely on for a long time instead of constantly switching car seats. Installing it was easier than I expected, and adjusting it to fit my child felt straightforward. Once it was in, it felt very secure and solid, which is the most important thing for me as a mom. The fabric is soft and nicely cushioned, and my little one seems comfortable in it, even during longer car rides. There’s no fussing, which says a lot. My favorite part is how practical and well thought out the seat is. The only thing that made me pause a bit is the lighter color, just because I know how quickly things can get messy with kids. Other than that, it’s been a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

comfy and kid approved

I was so excited when I received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! The most important thing to say about this car seat is that it's definitely kid-approved. On her very first ride in it, my toddler fell soundly asleep -- and when she woke up at our destination she said, "this seat is so comfy!" So it's a success on that front. I also appreciated the no-nonsense installation with the latch system... and I love how easy the cup holders are to take out and clean. I do wish the seat wasn't quite so wide; we've got siblings that sit in the next seat, and they're a bit more crowded than they were with our last car seat. I also find the angle/placement of the button that loosens the shoulder straps to be a bit awkwardly placed; it's a bit hard for me to find when I'm fishing around for it under the fabric. But overall, this is a solid car seat. My little one DEFINITELY approves!

A strong car seat option for the long haul

SuperCoolDad

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I immediately noticed how soft and plush the material was upon unboxing. My one-year-old kiddo can be a bit squirmy, so I was relieved to see material that would be gentler and forgiving on their skin. Installation took me under 5 minutes using the included anchor system, even without a second set of hands. My toddler is a bit on the taller side, and the adjustable headrest and quick-release shoulder straps gave us a secure fit without feeling too cramped. This car seat strikes an even balance of being sturdy and not overly-heavy, which makes moving it and our other car seats around much less of a hassle. My child is currently rear-facing, but I love how this seat will be able to grow with them to both forward-facing and eventually into a booster. One noticeable drawback I’ve experienced is the plastic base can feel slippery on my sedan’s older leather seats, though once fully installed it remained secure during normal driving.

Sleek and easy

1sttimemomma

I received this product to try through Stellar Product Testing Panel. This Maxi Cosi Pria Convertible seat has been a very easy transition from our carrier seat. My baby is currently 6 months old and about 20 pounds. We had grown out of our carrier, so were in the market for a convertible seat to last us the next several years. Straight out of the box, it took us about 30 minutes to read about and install the seat. The latch hooks make it super easy to hook the bottom securely. The first time we hooked it in and tightened, I felt as if it was too loose. We unhooked, readjusted the incline of the seat slightly (still keeping lined up with the dictators given on the side of the seat) and tried again. The 2nd time we got a much tighter fit. The fabric is plush, high quality and adds to the sleek overall look of the seat. I can already tell this seat will be with us for the long haul as it is well made and will be super easy to transition and grow into well into the future! Oh, and the icing on the cake? Cup holders that come out with a quick twist and pull to throw in the dishwasher!

The king of car seats

Thanks to Stellar Panel for sending me this car seat to test. I have absolutely loved nearly every single thing about it. It is lightweight, which made installing it without the help of my hubby very convenient. The installation was so seamless and easy. I used the lower anchors to secure the car seat instead of the seatbelt but either option can be done with ease. I have a full size SUV and the car seat is behind the driver side. There is plenty of leg room for my 6ft husband when driving. It may be a tighter fit in a smaller vehicle. My favorite feature is the comfy and super soft fabric. It feels unbelievable and it makes me happy to know my baby girl has the softest car seat that gives her plenty of cushion. I removed the infant inserts for my 9 month old baby and was able to fit the straps quickly and securely. Having an all-in-one seat is perfect for growing babies and adjusting it is effortless. I have the light tan fabric and probably wouldn’t go with something that light again. I like that it neutral but she has already had spit up on the shoulder pads. The fabric is washable so hopefully it won’t stain and will come clean. Overall, this is a great car seat and I’d highly recommend it.

Fantastic all in one option for busy parents

KMSB

I was chosen to receive the Maxi-Cosi All-in-One car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have been using a hand me down seat for several years, and I was eager to try out a different style with my 20-month old, who is about 24lb and on the shorter end of the spectrum at 28”. We also have a Maxi-Cosi high chair that we love, so I was looking forward to trying this out. I’m delighted to report we have so far been pleased with the seat overall! Things I’ve loved so far: my little guy is a big fan of a comfy ride! It was so easy to fit him properly compared to other seats. I love how smooth the belts are to loosen and tighten. I love that the fabric doesn’t slide off in random places! I can’t yet speak to how the silvery color will be in terms of keeping it clean, but at least it’s machine washable! Install was also pretty easy- we are using the LATCH option as he is rear-facing. The chest clip is also a simple one-click with your thumb. The cup holders are removable for cleaning but I wish they were wider- they don’t fit his usual water bottles. As a mom of two boys I truly appreciate a good all-in-one style, and so far I am really happy with how this one has been handling on the daily commute. Well done!

Amazing carseat

Shay624

I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Having my second baby, I’ve been on the lookout for a new car seat, so this was an incredible opportunity. I initially decided to use it for my older child, who is now forward-facing. However, I also tried it with my little one to see how it accommodates different ages. This car seat is truly remarkable. Surprisingly, it’s incredibly lightweight. I’ve encountered many convertible car seats that can be bulky and heavy, but this one was far lighter than anticipated. Despite its lightness, it maintains a sturdy feel, and I felt at ease having my toddler in it during car rides. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap at all. The fabric material is exceptionally soft. Initially, I was concerned about a light color fabric, but it’s surprisingly easy to spot clean. Installation was also a breeze. I tested it with both my infant and my 2.5-year-old, who is now forward-facing. Both installations were straightforward, and the kids were comfortable in both positions. The recline for rear-facing is excellent, and my toddler looks very comfortable in the forward-facing position. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed testing this car seat and am thrilled that I had the opportunity to do so. It’s definitely something I’ll be recommending to others!

Snug as a bug

TryGalMom

Saftey and comfort are often the 2 most important factors when looking for a car seat. The Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat checks those boxes. It can literally grow with them from infant up to a 100lb child! The seat is one whole peice, with easy to remove padding, 3 rear-reclining options and cup/snack holder on each side. Installation took less than ten minutes from box to car. Size adjustments are super simple with a push of a button to adjust straps and by lifitng the handle at the top. The reclining feature helps keep little heads safe and in place when in the rear position. Snack and cup holders on each side of the seat proved valuable for long care rides. Having an independent 18 month old able to get their cup and snack within reach ials okay with me! Now while this seat really is the bees knees, it's not without it's flaws. Mainly for us, the straps often twist and get a bit turned in the snap part. It's a fixable issue, but one that happens often and is a bit annoying. It'll take that problem though because if the straps are positioned correctly, the child is snug and comfy. That alone gives me good peace of mind so I'll deal with the twists. It's only exacerbated by added winter gear. My family and I are very grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting us this Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat. It’s truly a blessing.

Nice and comfy but bulky

HeatherB

I received this seat in exchange for my honest review. Overall the seat is great quality with soft and comfortable fabric. I have a 2 month old and 5 year old that I tested it with. Honestly I would not recommend for a newborn because the seat is bulky for such a tiny baby. It is hard to get the recline required for a newborn due to space in the back seat. It only worked in the middle seat of the middle row.(Tested in a Honda pilot) For the standard rear facing install, it fits in any seat on the middle row, the front to back space is no more than a typical car seat. Once he is big enough to use the standard rear facing recline, I believe this will be our new favorite seat. This seat provides good head support and seems it would be very comfortable. Since it was big for my newborn at this time I trialed with my 5 year old forward facing. She loved this seat. It is very padded and said it’s more comfortable than her previous seat. The head support is great and held her head comfortably when she fell asleep. The buckle is easy for her to do herself. The cupholders are easily removed to clean. The latch install is very simple, just push on to install and then it has a button to make it release instead of those annoying clips. Overall I am very pleased with this seat and would recommend for anyone wanting a convertible seat to last after the newborn stage. Thank you Stellar Product Testing panel for the opportunity to test this car seat.

Very comfortable and lightweight

griff

I received this car seat as part of the stellar review testing panel. I have a 3 year old boy (forward facing) and a Subaru forester for context. Cons: It has very small cup holders so you can’t fit most sippy cups which defeats the purpose of even having cup holders. The area that you thread the seatbelt through is kind of small, I had no problem using it (5’3” female) but my husband (6’2”) had a hard time fitting his hand through so I don’t think he would ever be able to install this seat. The shoulder straps are not secured very well, I was going to buckle in my son and the strap just came off. I’m sure if the straps were tight it wouldn’t fall off but I just usually loosen them for ease of buckling. Hard to get fully secure with only 1” of movement. Took a lot of tightening/sitting on the car seat/ needing my husband to help. Large. Husband cannot sit in front of the car seat because the front seat has to be fully forward even when the seat is front facing. I have a Subaru forester so my backseat space is pretty limited tho! Pros: Very comfortable seat, toddler loves it! Lots of padding! Easy to clean, cover comes right off and is easy to put back on after washing! Lightweight, easy for me to lift for cleaning or switching vehicles! Easy to adjust straps & seat height. I love that it can be used for so long, rear facing/forward facing & as a booster! This is a huge plus so you don’t have to buy a new car seat for years!

Gorgeous seat with tricky install

Alex

I received this seat as part of the Stellar product testing panel. This car seat is incredibly comfortable and beautifully designed. The fabric is by far my favorite part — it’s so soft, plush, and high-quality, and it feels like a luxury seat for my baby. I also love knowing that my little one can use this seat all the way up to 100 lbs, which makes it a great long-term investment. That said, the installation was very challenging. The seat is very large, and even in my third-row SUV, it pushed the front seat so far forward that it is almost impossible for an adult who is over 6 feet tall to sit comfortably. Getting the seat level was especially difficult — it felt nearly impossible to achieve the correct level and still have usable front-seat space. I ultimately had to use an item under the base to get it level, which is mentioned in the instructions, but it still made me nervous. My front seat is pushed pretty far forward so if going on long trips, the passenger has to sit in the backseat for more comfort. We also tried it in the middle but that made both front seats impossible to use. Overall, this is a stunning, extremely comfortable car seat with amazing fabric and longevity. However, the size and difficult installation are significant drawbacks, especially if space in your vehicle matters. If you have a very roomy vehicle and patience for installation, you’ll likely love it — but it’s not the easiest or most compact option out there.

Comfortable and extremely lightweight

Lpasko

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon opening the box of the Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One car seat, I was a bit worried as it appeared to be large and bulky - completely assuming it was going to be heavy to take out of the box. To my surprise it was very light weight! It was extremely easy to install into the vehicle as well and if there is one thing that I want in a car seat, it’s something that is easily usable without a long installation process. This convertible car seat all-in-one design is exactly what I look for in a car seat as it’s relieving to not have to be think about having to buy yet ANOTHER car seat when they grow out of the current infant one. My child seemed beyond comfortable and appeared to almost be sitting in a cloud. The fabric was soft, it was a nice neutral color, and was very aesthetically pleasing. My favorite feature would have to be the fact that it fits my child from birth up until they are older and being able adjust it quickly and even change it into a booster seat when I need to down the road - one less thing I have to worry about as they grow. The one very obvious downside to this car seat is the bulkiness - with multiple kids in multiple car seats, it doesn’t leave much room for the other kids and definitely creates a seemingly crowded space in the backseat. If I’m only transporting the one child in the car, the lightweight of this car seat overrides/overrules the bulkiness.

Great Convertible Carseat Grows with Your Child

Comfort and Safety are yours in minutes with this Maxi Cosi Pria Carseat!

The soft EcoCare fabric of this chair is made with 100% recycled materials, and is clearly designed with both coziness and durability in mind. Its feel is plush & pliable yet supremely supportive, and the easy on/off cover is machine-washable for a convenient clean. We love the sleek grey SeaDrift color, though there are several great options to match any taste or vehicle interior. Maxi Cosi has built this chair to be lightweight but sturdy. Both rear-facing & forward-facing installations are a breeze using either your car’s own passenger safety belt or the built-in anchor straps. The Pria’s thoughtfully designed height and angle adjustments ensure a custom fit to suit fast-growing little riders over time, and all buckles on the child harness are easy for an adult to operate with one hand.
Our favorite feature is the Pria’s pair of removable cupholders that go in or out with just a twist - they’re dishwasher-safe for a quick clean! The one minor complaint we have is that the cover can sometimes slide off the outer edges of the chair’s underlying frame a bit too easily when buckling-in an energetic child; but it’s easy to tuck back into place. Overall we’re very happy with this carseat, and it’s clear it will keep our little one safe and secure for years of travel!

My thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this excellent product in exchange for an honest review.

Best car seat anyone could ever own

RebekahRuss22

I received this car seat to test out thanks to the people at Stellar Panel. I absolutely loved this car seat. The design is super classy and can work long term for any kid at any age! I’ve had nothing but compliments when others saw this car seat in my car. I was shocked at how big it was but yet took up less room in my car than my other car seat. I found the Maxi Cosi Pria to be super soft and had a lot of cushion to it! When I first pulled it out of the box my little boy crawled onto it and sat in it for 20 minutes just watching his favorite show. If that doesn’t go to show how comfortable it is I don’t know what else does! I’ve already had to use a wash cloth to clean off some food from my little one eating in the car seat and I found everything to come off so easily and leave no mark on the light grey fabric! The car seat was SO EASY to install!! I normally always have to make my husband take the car seat out for me because I can never figure out how to do it right but I was able to install this car seat with no problems! It took up less space than our old car seat so I was able to push my front chair back some! I absolutely loved how cushioned the head rest is to this car seat which gives me so much peace knowing his head would be protected if we were in a car accident. As someone who was in a really bad car accident a few years ago, I take a lot of caution with car seats knowing how dangerous any car crash can be. This is definitely one that I will be recommending to any new mom or buy for my next child!

Comfortable Convenient and Well Built Car Seat

Hmm00

The Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat has a premium, high-quality feel and reflects thoughtful design throughout. While it offers many great features, it wasn’t the best fit for my vehicle due to its larger footprint. The fabric is attractive and performs well with spills. After a water spill on the seat, it dried without leaving any visible marks. However, fabric pilling appeared after only the second use, with small bumps forming across the surface. Installation is where this car seat truly shines. Using the LATCH system, the belt tightened smoothly and made it incredibly easy to achieve a secure, tight fit. Having installed many car seats over the years, this was by far one of the easiest and most confidence-inspiring installations. In my vehicle, the larger footprint required moving the front seat forward and limited the view out of the side window, which may be something to consider depending on vehicle size. The seat is lightweight, making it a great option for travel. The removable, dishwasher-safe cup holders are a standout feature and a game changer for keeping the seat clean. They’re also easy to reach, allowing drinks and toys to be stored conveniently. Overall, the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat offers excellent installation, thoughtful features, and everyday convenience. While its size may not be ideal for all vehicles, it’s a well-designed option with many practical benefits. Big Beautiful Car Seat

Catherine

I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Right out of the box, the Maxi Cosi Pria seriously impressed with its aesthetics and overall construction. The layers of support and padding seem to provide incredible comfort to my baby, but also gives me comfort knowing that they are snug, safe, and secure. The adjustability ensures that our baby is in the best and safest position possible for their size; the headrest seems encompass/protect the head more than most other car seats we’ve had, and the variable strap positioning looks great. The features of the car seat are some of our favorites, and with multiple children and countless car seats over the years, that speaks volumes. The one click latch anchoring system makes installation a breeze—honestly the easiest we’ve had of any seats. The quick fit shoulder harness is a smooth one handed shoulder and headrest adjustment, and the removable, dishwasher safe couple holders are a game changer for parents and littles. Finally, the car seat is constructed of a plush, comfortable, premium fabric and the color looks great in our vehicle. The only downside that we’ve experienced so far is the size of the seat. Even installed in a full sized SUV, the drivers seat needed to be pushed forward to ensure appropriate car seat positioning behind it when used as a rear facing seat. Families with smaller vehicles that have less second row legroom might experience difficulty when it comes to space. Overall, this is definitely a high quality product that I would recommend if you have sufficient space in your vehicle!

What I Love About the Pria All in One

Karsin

The Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat has proven to be a reliable and sturdy seat that provides comfort and safety for my little one. My favorite feature has to be the soft, breathable fabric. It will keep my baby warm on those cold days, while still providing cool comfort on our hottest days. The fabric is gentle on my baby’s skin and will keep him comfortable through his growing years! The installation process was as simple as installing any other brand of car seats, which was great! The Pria is definitely wider than my other car seats but it’s not a problem if you appreciate how safe and comfortable it will be for your child, as I do. Adding to my list of praises for this car seat, the Pria All-in-One’s smallest features have met my every demand. The newborn features are easy to remove when my child grows too big for them. The cupholders lock in place, which prevents my children from removing them while on the road. Finally, the strap release button is in a perfect spot! I own the Maxi Cosi Kani 4-in-1 seat as well and its release button is in a challenging spot. The only thing that caught my eye, without being a major concern, is the possible fragility of the plastic chest buckle/latch. It doesn’t feel as sturdy as, for example, the buckle/latch on my Graco car seat. Overall, I very much enjoy the Maxi Cosi Pria car seat. I can trust that it will protect my child in any unforeseen circumstances. I would say that this car seat is worth its value. I will be able to get many years of use out of it! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

Almost Hit The Mark

Taya85

I received the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One convertible car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest opinion. I wanted to use it on the newbie to the club but my toddler wanted to try it first. He absolutely loved it. He was sitting in it before I put it in the car. The fabric was soft and very cushioned. I really like the color, Grey. I love that it's all in one so I can keep it for a while. The manual explains how to adjust for each child. My toddler is 18 months but he's no where near ready to forward face so I liked how I can adjust it for him rear facing. I know he likes it because he kept squeezing everything. He likes pillow soft objects. The other things I enjoyed about this carseat was the ease to install. I like having the lower anchor belts. The seat belt path was a bit tricky because of the seat size. It felt like a two person job. I did it alone but needed to stretch to get it done. My toddler is a messy snack eater so I greatly appreciate the removable cup holders. Also, thanks for making the crotch area adjustable and padded. Very much needed for growing children. Now I said it "almost hit the mark" and thats because of its size. It is pretty big. I have a four door sedan that was just too small for it. Now it did fit our mid-size suv and our cross-over. I took pics in the cross-over so you could see. The passenger in front may be uncomfortable with the sitting situation. Never let the front seats touch the carseats! Anyways once it was hooked up a smaller carseat wasn't positioned in the middle and it would be a tight squeeze if an adult had to sit back in the back with two carseats. It may be different with one seat forward-facing though.

All in one car seat that grows with your child

Marty

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. As a father of a 20-month-old, I’m pretty particular about the gear we use every day, and this all-in-one convertible car seat genuinely checks all the boxes I was looking for. Safety is the top priority, and this seat feels solid, secure, and thoughtfully engineered. I also really appreciate the longevity of the design, it’s reassuring to know this seat will grow with my child rather than needing to be replaced in a short time. On top of that, the design is clean and modern and fits in nicely with the rest of our baby gear. Installation was very easy. Using the anchor buckles, I was able to install the seat in under five minutes. Tightening everything down didn’t require much effort, and adjusting the straps for a proper, safe fit is just as straightforward. The strap adjustment button is conveniently placed on the top of the seat and easy to reach, making quick adjustments simple and stress-free. The fabric is another standout feature. It feels soft and high-quality, and my child definitely seems to prefer it over other seats we’ve used in the past. She also appears to be very comfortable while riding, which makes car trips smoother for us all! It’s hard to pick just one favorite feature because there are so many thoughtful touches. The strap holders on the sides are incredibly helpful when getting a wiggly toddler in and out, and the dual cupholders are placed so my child can actually reach them without my help. Overall, the ease of use across every feature really sets this seat apart. In my opinion, it’s a must-have for families looking for a reliable, long-lasting, and easy-to-use car seat.

Super Comfy and will be used for many years

I was so excited to receive this Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had just discovered that I needed to replace my toddler's car seat very soon, so it was perfect timing! My toddler loves her new car seat. She loves the cup holders and the soft fabric. She often falls asleep in it while we are out running errands, so it must be pretty comfortable. I think the padding feels nice and soft and cozy, I wish I could take a nap in it! The shoulder strap pads are a bit large, but that probably makes the straps more comfortable, and they are easy to remove with the hook-and-loop fastener. The padding for the crotch buckle is quite large and sometimes makes buckling the seat difficult. I like that the strap placement is easy to adjust, there is no re-threading just squeeze the handle and lift up or down. They are also fairly easy to loosen or tighten. My preteen daughter had trouble getting the latch system fastened, the latches are different from the ones on our previous car seat so I think that confused her a bit and she got the strap twisted, but I also had trouble loosening and tightening the latch straps. That is good for keeping the seat secure, but could be annoying if you need to frequently switch it between cars. I love that it can be used for so many sizes of kids and stages of development. It really could be the only car seat you need for your baby. Really my only complaint is the fabric. The light gray doesn't hide dirt. We have only had the seat for a week or two, but the seat already shows dirt from my toddler's shoes. I have not tried to clean the cover yet but the instruction manual makes it sound easy to remove and clean. So hopefully that will be true, and redeem the fabric in my eyes!

Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat

Ktk23

I received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My overall impression of the car seat is that it looked very durable, and comfortable but very large in size. I was worried about how well it would fit in my compact SUV. One of the first things that I noticed was the padded cushions on the chest straps and the straps by the buckle at the bottom. This was a big thing for me because my little guy has super sensitive skin so the padding will help the straps not rub on his chest and neck area. I really enjoyed the all-in-one design and am excited that this is a car seat that can grow with my son. The fabric is SO soft and cozy. I didn't love the color of the fabric because it is light and it is already showing some small stains. The cupholders on both sides of the seat are really nice and easy to clean. I was able to put a toy in one side and his snack in the other. I was able to easy complete the rear facing install.. The size of the carseat in my car was a very tight fit! It was easy to tighten the belt and check the facing level lines. Once my child was it the seat, it was effortless to tighten the chest straps and adjust the head rest. It was also easy to push the button to losen the straps to get him out. All of the padding in the seat made my little guy very comfortable and he hates being in the car! Overall, the two things that I liked most about the seat was the soft, comfortable fabric and the variety of options to change the seat as my little guy gets bigger. The wide assortment of padding made me feel like my baby was safe and secure in the back. I would definitely recommend this car seat to others and feel it is best suited for a larger car. This seat reminded me of a lazy boy chair for my little man, who loved it!

Lightweight but underwhelming

Celi

As a mom of two littles in car seats, one rear facing and one forward facing, I wanted to love this car seat but it did not meet my expectations. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, so I was grateful I got to try it. The pros of the car seat: it is lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, fabrics are soft and cozy, and very slim. Compared to other car seats I’ve had, this one is very lightweight, which makes it easy to travel with if needed. The cup holders also don’t stick out of the car seat, saving room within the car. I also love the ease of transition that this car seat seems to have with its all-in-one design- we only used it in rear facing mode, but it seems simple to switch it to forward facing and further booster mode. The rear installation latch system also made it simple to just latch into my car and adjust to fit. The cons: it does not fit rear facing well in a smaller vehicle, it feels like plastic with no upgraded effort, and it is difficult to latch tightly. I have a compact suv but I couldn’t fit this car seat rear facing on the drivers side without the seat completely pushing up the car seat (and I’m only 5 foot tall, so it’s not due to being tall). Additionally, I have leather seats in my car and even when secured and latched tightly, the car seat seemed to move around more than an inch— our previous (multiple) different branded car seat does not move at all. The ReclineFit feature feels like it could be executed better and an actual bubble leveler would greatly improve the ease of installing the car seat instead of just relying on a sticker that you have to match parallel to the ground. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by competitor brands, but the Maxi Cosi Pria feels underwhelming and may I add, a little unsafe due to it not fitting properly in my car.

Premium car seat at an affordable price

Matteanic

We needed a car seat for my husband‘s truck and we’re super excited when we receive this one. First of all, the color is beautiful. We got the all gray and it is a very soft, modern looking color. There are not a bunch of warning labels on the sides, which make it look super sleek. Our absolute favorite thing about this car seat is how plush and soft the fabric is. It has plenty of cushion without being restrictive. My baby is 10 months old and he’s a big boy. This doesn’t make him feel confined or like he’s being squished at all. One thing to know is that this is a big, heavy duty car seat (just like most convertible car seats.) We really like that it will last through a bunch of different stages of growth, but with that kind it’s large size. We were initially thinking to put this in my Mazda CX five, but it will not fit. In order for the car seat to fit correctly it would have to have the passenger seat completely pushed forward towards the dash. Luckily my husband needed a car seat as well. These are photos of it installed in a ram 1500. As you can see it fits very well, but I wouldn’t recommend this car seat for small cars or vehicles where you regularly have a passenger sitting in the front seat. But I do know that this is also the case for most convertible car seats that aren’t considered slim fit. Installation was super easy and straightforward, and the cupholders are a great feature. As you can see the car seat isn’t super wide, and there’s plenty of room for backseat passengers in the truck. I don’t think this would be the case if it was in my smaller sized SUV though. It comes with newborn inserts, which obviously we didn’t need at this stage, but this is a car seat that I would feel completely comfortable putting my newborn in, as the newborn inserts are very soft supportive and have plenty of cushion. Right off the bat, you can tell that this car seat is made with good quality and I’m excited to see how long it lasts us! Thanks to the stellar review panel for letting us try out this car seat!

Wanted to love but fell short

Momof6

As a mom of five, with #6 on the way, I am no stranger to car seats. I wanted to love this one, but it fell short in a few areas. Pros: -Love that it’s made in the USA! I try to choose USA made products when possible, so this was a huge win for me. -Once positioned properly, my ten month old was very comfortable and happy in her seat. -Appears very sturdy and safe, and my husband was able to get it very snuggly fastened. That said, here is where it fell short for our family: Cons: -We drive a Nissan NV passenger van, and had to try the seat in a few different seats before deciding it needed to be in the second row behind the center counsel. It is SUCH a huge car seat, that it really couldn’t be behind another seat without pushing into it, which didn’t allow for a reclined enough position for our baby. That may not be an issue for some people, but as we have multiple other kids in car seats, we noticed the extra space this car seat takes. -Other similar car seats we’ve used all have had the bubble level on the side so you can see if the seat is level by where the bubble is. This car seat has a decal sticker with lines marks to indicate levelness, which isn’t as convenient. -When rear facing the straps are positioned such that you really have to finagle to get them tight enough. The fabric is moveable to access straps so my husband had to move back some fabric to get the tight enough. When he had it tight enough he really had to fight to get the fabric back in place. Not undoable, but again more cumbersome than other car seats we’ve used. -Finally, the chest clip doesn’t seem as sturdy as other seats. It shouldn’t be an issue because when kids are in the car it would be clipped, but if my four year old got it in her mind to bend it, it’s a softer plastic that could be twisted around. Again that shouldn’t happen, but you never know with kids! In short, we’ll keep using this car seat because our baby is happy and safe in it, but we wouldn’t invest in a second. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat

Hiland4boys

As the mom of 4 boys who range in age from 9 years to 8 months, I’ve used and installed quite a few car seats. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 8-month-old is 21 lbs., so I was ready to transition him from a carrier model to this Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible car seat. This is my first Maxi Cosi car seat that I’ve used, and I was very impressed with the quality. The fabrics feel soft and cozy. Although I love the way the fabric looks, if I were to purchase again, I would choose a darker color since my kiddos are prone to spilling. The padding around the buckle and shoulder straps seem comfortable, and the head support feels sturdy and substantial. I really appreciate that it can be used for the rest of the time my kiddo will need a car seat and booster seat. A downside for me is that it is a fairly wide seat. I have a divided bench in the second row of my SUV and I was previously able to have my infant carrier car seat/base and a slender forward facing seat in my second row, and the third bench seat was still able to easily fold or move forward for school pickup/drop off of my older boys who sit in the third row. With the Pria rear facing, the third second row seat doesn’t have that same mobility. Luckily my boys are agile climbers, so that’s not a deal breaker. That being said, I can still fit three across in my second row, which is a plus. The Pria was easy to install using the latch system; however, it did take me a longer than I expected to get it leveled to the correct line for my infant’s size. Overall, I’ll keep using this as his primary seat. I think it’s a high-quality seat that can safely be used for the rest of our car seat/booster seat years, and it is comfortable for my little one. Pros: comfortable, sturdy, quality fabrics that stayed much cleaner than I expected, can be used from infancy through booster stage, dual cup holders, easy to adjust the head supports and straps for buckling Cons: wider than other seats I was used to, lighter fabric color (although it does come in other colors), need to use a rolled towel to level the seat, which I had not done in the past

Great Car Seat but Really Large

Callie

My husband and I were really excited to try this car seat out for our son who is about to turn two. We needed something that would work better than our last car seat which while it was one that could swivel to the side, installing it was an absolute nightmare and even when installed correctly left my husband and I feeling unsure of its sturdiness and safety. Needless to say, it was time for a switch, enter the Maxi Cosi Pria. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Here are some of the pros and cons we have found with the Maxi Cosi Pria. PROS: 1. We were THRILLED that the Maxi Cosi Pria was the easiest car seat installation we've ever experienced out of about four other seats! Not only was it easy, it was stable and stayed in place giving us no doubt in how well it would perform in case of an accident. 2. The fabric felt incredible and it cleaned up well after my son dropped some cheerios and snack bars in it. Anything that was spilled brushed out effortlessly. 3. The safety harness for our son was so smooth when adjusted. We didn't have to yank our arms off just to get it a teeny bit looser. (This has been one of our big complaints with other car seats.) The harness fits well and he seems quite comfortable. The harness also released well when getting him back out. No fiddling with stubborn straps and buttons that hurt your hands to take apart. 4. Obviously the last big pro is that it's a convertible car seat and can grow with him. The instructions to move from rear to forward facing etc. are all clear and easy to decipher. CONS: 1. Our ONLY complaint is that the seat is really big and bulky which honestly wouldn't even be a problem except for the fact that we drive a very small car. It puts a lot of strain on our backs putting our son in and taking him out because there is only a small window of space to get him through. That being said, we DID test the car seat in two different models of SUVS that our family members own and it fit great. I cannot recommend this car seat for small car owners, but if you have anything larger, it will be an absolute dream! We did add some pictures to show how it fits in our car, the attachment system at the bottom, and the easy to follow directions on the side. (Pardon how dark the photos are. My husband works far away and is gone before it gets light and back after dark but I really wanted a photo of the seat in the car so people can get an idea of how narrow the opening is when installed in a small vehicle.) Overall, this was a solid product! The only reason we can't give it five stars is because it didn't work for our unique vehicle situation. We really enjoyed using the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat!

3 out of 5 stars

DeeMarie

We received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat and were thrilled to test it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are just about ready to convert to an all-in-lone style car seat from our infant seat as our little one is getting a bit heavy to be transporting while still secured in the car seat. We currently have a seat that connects to the stroller. Everything was already assembled upon opening the box. A cozy, well padded, modern design complete with two cup holders. It’s a neutral light gray color fit to compliment any car design. We’ve recently leased a Volkswagen Tiguan as our Subaru Outback is very high in mileage. The dealer convinced us we would be happier with this vehicle at this stage of our little one’s life bc it has a lot of leg room in the back seat area. Making it ideal for car seat installation and accessibility. We tested the car seat out on our kitchen floor first. It’s easy to remove the infant inserts and to adjust the headrest as little one grows. It also has a reclining feature for optimal/safe positioning. After securing our 6 month old into the seat I realized how much more padding there is compared to our current infant seat. I’m slightly disappointed with our current seat as this extra padding would have been so much more ideal when our little one was an infant. Our little one seemed to be quite cozy sitting and playing with his crinkle book. He tends to fuss initially when we secure him in our current infant seat. I’ve often wondered if he’s uncomfortable. Not a peep while he was secured in the Maxi Cozi Pria! We then installed the seat in our Volkswagen. It didn’t take long. The most difficult part, while front facing, was latching to the car anchors. It just required a little bit of my weight in the seat for the clips to latch securely. My husband says it would be nice to have another inch or two to in the strap to work with but then I assume that would require a way to tighten the strap which would make it unsafe. There was plenty of leg room and our little one was easy to tend to. Rear facing on the other hand was not as ideal as it took up much more space once reclined, which require the front passenger seat to be pushed up. It left very little leg room for the front passenger. I’m not sure an adult would have been comfortable sitting in the front seat. So overall, installation is simple, but it’s too bulky of a seat if you intend on having a front passenger. We like how the cup holders are removable for easy cleaning. We like how cozy and padded the seat is. Which is a slight compromise I suppose compared to our current seat as ours is easier to wipe clean compared to the Maxi Cozi Pria that has softer fabric (which in turn is more absorbing….not good for those spit ups and blow outs!). If I were to use the Maxi Cozi Pria I’d probably try to use a seat liner. Overall I think we would rate it 3 out of 5, mostly bc of the space it takes up when rear facing. Front facing is fine in our Volkswagen. It’s a tighter fit, but still do-able, in our Subaru. 5 out of 5 on easy installation, coziness/padding/safety, and overall color/look. 3 out of 5 for bulky design.

You get what you pay for

MomoffourNDkids

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The first thing I noticed when opening the box was that the seat did not come with a user manual. I'm sure one is probably available online, but personally I hate having to go search online for everything and have my phone out fumbling with a screen that keeps timing out while trying to install a seat. Basic installing of a car seat isn't something you have to have a manual for, but figuring out all the little things for strap adjustment is definitely easier with a manual instead of trying to figure it out by playing around with it. The bottom buckle release was large and easy to unbuckle, yet my younger kids couldn't easily get it open on their own. The metal clips are slightly hooked at the ends and look like they'd hold well in an accident. The top chest clip is quite chunky but also looks like better quality than the usual thinner styles. The belt loosening part is easy to get the straps loosened quickly and the issues I've had with other car seats belts getting uneven seems to have been solved by their design, so that's a plus. The head height adjustment seemed rather stiff when adjusting it, but perhaps this will loosen with use. I also really liked that the rear facing anchor clips can clip to the seat itself when not in use. Definitely a nice little addition. The fabric is soft and plush and the cupholders remove for easy cleaning, which is nice. I do think the seat feels rather wide for my youngest (4 mo old, 17 lbs, see picture) but my other kids (8, 5, 3) had enough room width wise to be very comfortable. My children are all extremely tall and skinny for their age. I worry my oldest will outgrow this seat more quickly than his current carseat because the head adjustment is as high as it goes and seemed barely tall enough for his height (47" tall, see picture). Pictures included are of my 4 mo old, 3 yr old and 8 yr old. Some things I didn't like as much were the lack of recline positions. My current seats have about 7 different recline settings to get it just right for each vehicle, but this seat only has 3 recline positions. Installing the belt through the back of the seat for forward facing was more difficult because you have a very narrow cavity to thread your hand and the seatbelt through. My husband would definitely have an even harder time installing it and his hands aren't particularly large for a guy. There also isn't a way to wind up the excess belt length from the back anchor strap so it just hangs loose everywhere. A rubber band over it works, but then it's an extra thing I have to keep track of. This seat also is more difficult to adjust the strap height (for shoulder height). You have to remove the seat, unstrap the belts from the underside and rethread everything, which is a bit of an extra fuss. Overall this seat seemed to be average quality. It certainly felt like a 'you get what you pay for' deal as far as features are concerned. If you want a car seat with all the fancy features, this is not for you, but if very basic yet comfortable is your goal, then this seat could be a good fit. I will probably use it as a backup seat for my mom to have in her vehicle if she wants to take a kid somewhere, but I personally wouldn't buy it as my main seat. Definitely not the best option if you move seats from vehicle to vehicle a lot.

Third time mom approved

Natasha

After receiving this carseat through Stellar Product Testing Panel my first thought was “wow that looks comfy!” My 2 month old hates his newborn carseat, we were desperate to find a car seat he likes and this was the one. The newborn inserts were perfect to provide me a sense of relief knowing he was secured tightly. My 4 year old sat in the seat and instantly asked if she could have it because she said it’s “more comfier than mine” As a mom of 3, having reliable carseats that grow with baby is almost as important as safety and this carseat gives both! Pros: easy installation, straps adjust easily, super comfy, has 2 cup holders Cons: bulky

Super cozy

Jeweleqt

We received the Pria car seat to test from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my almost two year old. She found the car seat to be very comfortable and loved sitting in it. One of my favorite features is the removable cup holders, making it super easy to clean- something we struggled with in previous car seats. It was easy to install, however, it is a little bulkier than some of our other seats and so it doesn’t fit well into our car, where I have other children in car seats too. It is going to go instead into my husband’s car so that when she rides in there, she will have the comfort and space she needs.

Great Car Seat

Taylor

Love this car seat and so does my 2 year old. The car seat looks safe, sturdy and comfortable for my daughter. I installed it forward facing in my car and installation was very easy. I love that it’s easy to adjust the straps and back height without taking the whole car seat out of the car. I also like that if we were to install rear facing, it’s very easy to recline and adjust the angle of the seat. My daughter says she loves it and looks very comfortable in it. The only negative I would say is the color. I’m worried the lighter color padding will get dirty easily. It also is quite wide, not an issue for me, but may be an issue for someone trying to fit three kids in the back seat.

All in one car seat

RoPM

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Honestly I’ve been looking for something like the Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-one car seat, is sturdy and give a safe trip to my baby, safe and pretty sure very comfort cause the soft in the fabrics is a plus, if you are like me looking for the safest and comfy and it can be used in different ages while our kiddos are growing up, this is your must have car seat, I was given in grey color and match with my fabrics SUV’s back seat, I really love it and recommend this item, come with pillows and can be changed depending the age.

Maxi Cosi Pria All in One

markleyam

I received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One carseat as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon receiving it I thought the color of the seat and the design was very appealing. My child is 2.5 and is rear facing. I found the seat to be very easy to install and tighten using the LATCH system. I have been using this product for about two weeks and my child has been happy in the seat and seems comfortable. I have found that the straps tend to twist easily but they are fairly easy to untwist. Although it has not happened yet, with my child in the midst of potty training, accidents in the carseat are bound to happen and with the light colored fabric of the car seat that it will show stains easily.

Very plush and comfortable car seat

filemaniac

This car seat is very configurable and suitable for newborns and up. The fabric appears to be very comfortable and plush, and our 9 month old seemed to enjoy it more than the baby carrier that he's transitioning out of. It was fairly easy to install in my RAM mega cab's backseat in rear facing configuration, although it may not be suitable for small vehicles. There are many adjustments that can be made for comfort and height, so it will grow with your little one. The removable and washable cupholders are a nice touch as well. All in all, I would recommend this car seat if you're looking for an upgrade. I did receive this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for my honest and unbiased review.

amazing

rayyrayyyy

I absolutely love this car seat! the product as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel From the day we installed it, it has been such a joy to use. Installation was surprisingly quick and straightforward — once I figured out the technique, it only took a few minutes to secure tightly. Our toddler climbs in and out with confidence, and the soft PureCosi fabric feels so comfortable and cozy that she often falls asleep on longer rides, which has been a game-changer for errands and family trips.

Max Coziness

Buckeyes

We have been using this car seat (forward facing) for a few weeks now and have been very impressed with it. I drive a minivan and it is installed on the outside second row with two other car seats. It had no problem fitting. I was able to install it easily and my daughter has been able to strap herself in with no problems. I have not heard any complaints from her about not being comfortable. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

Great Car Seat with a few minor tweaks

Alycia

I was given the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall it’s been a positive experience. The design is sleek and modern, and I really like the all-in-one concept since it’s meant to grow with your child. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, and my toddler genuinely enjoys riding in it, which is a big win for us. Installation was a bit tricky when installing rear-facing, especially using the LATCH system, but forward-facing was much easier. Adjusting the recline and leveling took some time to figure out, but once set up, it felt secure. My favorite feature is the soft, cozy fabric and overall look of the seat. I do wish the cup holders were a bit bigger to fit our sippy cups better, but overall this is a well-made, comfortable car seat that I’d recommend with a small learning curve.

Great car seat

Adrianna

I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall I have been very happy with it. The all-in-one convertible design is convenient and makes it feel like a long-term investment as my child grows. The fabrics are very soft and cozy, and my child seems comfortable even on longer car rides. Installation was fairly straightforward, and I appreciated the clear instructions and adjustability to get a secure, proper fit. The seat feels sturdy and well made, which gives me confidence in its safety. I also like how easy it is to adjust the harness and headrest as needed. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is that the seat is a bit bulky and can take up more space in the car than expected. Other than that, it has been a great car seat and I would recommend it to parents looking for comfort, quality, and versatility.

Easy install and compact but basic features

madigodwin

I was given the Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and overall it’s a reliable option. The installation process was very easy, and once installed it feels secure and sturdy which I was happy with. It also fits well in our backseat without feeling too bulky. That being said, the materials don’t feel as luxurious or high-end as some other car seats options, which was a bit disappointing. There are less recline options than other car seats we have tried. The chest harness material feels like it could be improved upon. Depending on your priorities, this car seat could be a great option for you. As far as safety, I feel very safe with my daughter in the car seat but I do believe there to be more luxury options depending on the price you would like to pay. The price for this car seat feels fair for what you receive.

Great Carseat

AliM

I received this carseat to review from stellar product testing panel. This car seat feels sturdy, comfortable, and well made. The padding is soft, installation was easy, and it feels very secure once in place. I like that it adjusts as your child grows, making it a great long term option. Overall, it’s a solid, high quality car seat that offers both comfort and peace of mind.

Such a comfy car seat

MamaLex0703

I absolutely LOVE the color of this car seat. I received this seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. If you like neutral colors, you’re going to love this seat. I was able to put this seat in my car and have it adjusted to perfectly fit my baby in less than 5 minutes. This is one of the comfiest car seats we have owned and my baby is loving it!

Maxi Cosi Pria

cg18

I received the Maxi Pria car seat through Stellar Product Testing to use and review. My son is 16 months and around 20 pounds. I have been using the car seat in rear facing mode, installed with the seat belt in a 2020 Honda Accord. Overall I like this car seat. It was fairly easy to install but did require some effort to get the seat belt tight enough so the car seat did not move. I was given the lighter color seat which already has some stains from my child’s shoes. I have not taken it off to wash yet but do appreciate that the cover is machine washable and not spot clean only. There seems to be ample cushion on the seat itself and my son seems comfortable while riding in it. I like the pouches on both sides of the car seat to store the seat belt out of the way. This saves time and effort spent digging the straps out from under baby when buckling in. The rear facing mode weight limit is lower than some other car seat brands so keep that in mind.

Great Carseat

Jasmin

My overall impression of the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One car seat has been very positive, especially because the all-in-one design makes it feel like a long-term investment that grows with my child from rear-facing to booster mode. Installation was fairly easy, the instructions were clear, and adjusting the harness and headrest to get a safe, secure fit was simple and intuitive. The fabrics feel very soft and high-quality, and my little one appeared comfortable while riding in the seat, even on longer drives. One thing I did notice is that in the rear-facing position on recline number three, it looks to me like my baby is still sitting more upright than expected, which is something parents may want to be mindful of depending on their child’s age and preference. My favorite feature is the no-rethread harness and how easily the seat adjusts as my child grows, making changes quick and stress-free while maintaining a proper fit. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

What more could you ask for

Daisy

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Let me tell you, when I first opened this I was in awe of how aesthetically pleasing the color and design of this seat is! The softness of the material is amazing, perfect for your baby to be comfortable and cozy in. The all in one aspect of the seat is A+. How could you ask for more? You can use the same seat throughout the newborn, toddler, and little kid stage. It was fairly easy to install but like most car seats it does require reading instructions but simple to follow and easy to transfer from my car to my husband’s. I feel as our 5 month old was very secure and comfortable in this seat, he fell asleep about 5 minutes into our drive! I love that it isn’t a black material that will attract the heat in the summer too. I was a little nervous about it being a light color but it’s super easy to wipe clean! I will always recommend Maxi Cosi products as we have a bunch in our home. You definitely won’t regret this seat for an all in one convertible!!

Easy to install car seat

Carseat

My little one isn’t the biggest fan of the car but since using the Maxi-Cosi seat she hasn’t had a bad car ride! The seat has all the infant inserts, which are easily removable, and the buckets feel very secure! Love it.

So soft and cozy

Whitlee

I received this car seat to try out through the Stellar product testing panel and we love it! I have a 3 year old son that we used the seat for. He didn’t met the weight requirement to forward face in this seat so we rear faced him and I wasn’t sure what he was going to think but he actually loved it. He said “it’s so cozy” and it looks cozy, the material is super soft and I already found it easy to clean after he got in with mud on his shoes it wiped clean really easily. My husband installed it and said it was easy to install but he was particularly pleased with how easy it is to uninstall. With our other seat you have to put your whole body into it to get it loose but this was super easy to uninstall which is nice if you need to move it from car to car. I love the versatility of this car seat. We can use it for an infant in the future all the way up to toddler and kid booster seat which is so nice, I don’t have to think about buying a new car seat for a while because this one will last through all the stages. Overall impression is super nice fabrics, easy to adjust/install, and versatile!

Comfy car seat will grow with kiddo

Brittany

I got the Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I think it’s going to be a great primary car seat for us. Overall impression is it’s very comfortable, has super soft fabrics, and was very easy to install. My little one is 2, going on 3, and we plan to rear face for a while which will work great because he can rear face up to 40lbs or 40in which is easy to remember. When I asked him what he thought about his new car seat, he said, “so comfy!” This is a larger car seat with extra padding (some can be removed if needed), so I don’t think it would be the best for small cars, but if you’re looking for an all-in-one design then this one is great. It’s easy to adjust, and my son likes that he can sit pretty upright to see out his window. I feel like this will be a safe car seat for him for a long time as he moves into forward facing and booster modes. My biggest con is the light grey color will probably show messes, but the fabric is really soft and the instruction manual is super clear on cleaning instructions (as well as installation and fit). Overall, 4/5 stars from me!

Pria all in one

Priaseat

The seat was wide and spacious to accommodate larger kids. I found it difficult to install properly. It was very hard to get seat tight enough to allow foe less than 1 in of lateral movement at the belt path in both forward and rearfacing installation. The fabric was soft, the light colors showed spot easily. Was able to wipe some spots clean with a wet rag. Harness was simple to lengthen and tighten with child in seat. Compared to several other seats, the Pria all-in-one has a lower rearfacing height limit at 40 in. The weight of the seat was nice, would be good for travel. Lighter weight than other comparable seats. Rearfacing installation. Still allowed plenty of room for other kids to pass behind for 3rd row access in our van. Good seat. We used in rear and forward facing for 2 different kids. Both kids were comforta le and happy in the seat. Both are on the smaller side, so the insert was helpful to improve comfort in the more spacious seat. The biggest downfall of this seat is the difficult install. Very difficult to get the seat installed tight enough. I received this carseat as a Stellar Producting Tesing Panel participant.

Chic Baby Spaceship

Mbrown

I received the Pria car seat through stellar review panels. Overall I enjoyed this car seat. It is chic and stylish and my daughter fell asleep less than 5 minutes into the car ride. The material feels luxurious and the style is timeless. Which I appreciate because we will definitely be using for a second child. The fact that the car seat is convertible is a major selling point for our family. We appreciated not having to transition out an infant car seat for this one and are excited to watch our baby grow with the seat. The fabrics are luxurious and very breathable. We have not had any spills or accidents but the fabrics seem very easy to wipe off. This car seat was installed in my husbands truck which has limited room in the backseat. To our surprise the car seat installed in less than 10 minutes and was secure and easy to navigate. The thing I love most about this car seat is that my child is secure and safe while also riding in comfort. This car seat will be her specified seating for the next few years, my child is very small, and her being comfortable is not something that I am willing to jeopardize. She is always content when in this seat and she is secure and safe which means the world to me.

Comfy but confusing

Momto1

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to try this convertible car seat because my 4 month old is currently in an infant carrier seat and he hates the car. I’ve been told switching car seats can help them. Upon arrival the car seat looked very comfortable but I was confused and intimidated by all the different pillows, strap slots, and recline positions. After reading the whole manual I am confident it is in the correct positioning for my 4 month old but installing isn’t as simple. I have tried to install the car seat 3 different times and have been unable to get it level. I have even tried putting pool noodles under the base as suggested in the manual and still could not get it level. I plan to try again once my baby has grown into the next position so I don’t have to uninstall the car seat and reconfigure it for the next height/ weight of my baby and then try to install again. I am hopeful that I can get it installed correctly with rolled towels under the base, also suggested in the manual, and I do believe it will be a very comfortable car seat once it is installed properly. Another thing to add is it is very difficult to tighten enough. The first time I tried installing it I did not realize it wasn’t level yet and got it completely installed but it took about 15 minutes to get it tightened enough. My baby is 4 months old and 15 pounds.

High Quality Car Seat That Grows With Your Child

Jacqueline

We’re so happy with our Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One car seat, which we received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! From day one, it’s been a joy to use and our 20-month-old daughter absolutely loves sitting in it. The soft, breathable fabric makes every ride cozy, and she’s clearly comfortable while rear facing. I especially appreciate that the fabric doesn’t use any added fire retardants, giving us peace of mind about what she’s sitting against all ride long. The premium PureCosi materials are super soft and comfortable while still durable enough for long-term use. The SeaDrift color is absolutely gorgeous, and cleans surprisingly well for such a light color! Installation was a breeze. The LATCH system snapped in quickly, and adjusting the harness and shoulder straps is easy and intuitive. Getting a secure fit without frustration was a major win! It’s also notably slimmer than some of our other car seats, which has given us more room in the passenger seat and makes longer drives more comfortable for everyone. One of the biggest benefits is how long this seat will last. We love that it’s designed to go from rear-facing baby to forward-facing toddler and eventually to a booster up to about 100 pounds, so this could truly be our only car seat for years. Overall: We’re thrilled with how this seat performs in our day to day life. It’s comfortable for our daughter, simple for us to install and adjust, space-saving in our car, and built to last well into her booster years. Highly recommend it for parents looking for quality, comfort, and longevity in a car seat!

Quality and Longevity

CityMouse

We were ready to transition my almost 9mo out of his bucket seat and preferred a convertible that could last us for all stages and years. Choosing a car seat can be stressful and overwhelming and we only wanted to have to make a decision once. Thankfully, I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but really pleased to have a seat we now love and can use for years. The Pria has very plush and quality fabric that gives it a luxurious ride at an approachable price point. My guy is on the smaller side, and he fits well within the seat. For younger or smaller babies, the seat also comes with a removable head and seat cushion for additional support as they grow. Setting up the fit was quick; they recommend seating babe in the seat before install to determine strap and headrest placement. We were all set up in five minutes, and actual car install was also fairly straightforward. The straps are no rethread, so you set it up once and can simply adjust the height or length of the seat with the adjustable headrest. This is wildly convenient, because these babies grow fast and inevitably you’ll put them in one day and realize, “crap, they grew and this headrest needs to go up.” Push, slide, click and those previous morning moments are preserved and you’re on your way. The seat buckle is incredibly easy to adjust, and the harness itself is thick and easy to tighten. In rear facing, there are several recline options, which allows for different car configurations and fits, and baby is cozy in a more reclined position as a little guy. This seat fits well in our Santa Fe, though drivers taller than 5’10-ish may want to install on the passenger side. Two built-in cup holders that can be removed and tossed in the dishwasher are perfect for babies who put all kinds of goopy, gross things in there. Overall, I’m really impressed with the look and feel of the car seat, and my baby loves riding in it!

Great BIG convertible car seat

CMalls27

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This car seat has been great so far! We had been looking around for a larger car seat because our little one is no longer “so little” and was starting to look very uncomfortable in his infant seats. (For reference, our child is ~20 lbs, 18 inches and rear-facing.) The Maxi-Cosi Pria is a sturdy, solid car seat and our baby seems much more comfortable in this. The color is beautiful and material seems soft, durable and high-end. I appreciate the removable cupholders (there are two!) and washable fabric. Install was easy enough using the vehicle belt. I had a difficult time unbuckling the lower belt anchors but figured that out eventually, though I still found the vehicle belt install to be easier and secure. There’s no load leg, which would have provided additional peace-of-mind, but not a deal breaker. Our baby seems secure but comfortable and there’s a lot of room to grow with this car seat. Planning to use this one for years to come! Though the seat can be used rear-facing from birth, I’m not sure we would have. Our baby was tiny when born and though there are baby insert pads, it would’ve been a bit tricky putting him in, but that’s mostly personal preference. Regardless, hoping to continue using this seat for as long as a car seat and booster are needed so it’s definitely worth it! One caveat worth noting is that while this car seat is roomy and comfortable, it is also heavy and huge. It’s even bigger than our car seat-stroller combo, which is notoriously cumbersome. Probably wouldn’t recommend for folks with limited car space. We have middle row captains seats and the car seat fits perfectly there, but it was heavy for install and takes up the whole seat space. Overall, this is a great, comfortable and seemingly safe, secure car seat at a reasonable price that will be used for years to come! Though it is large, it’s only an issue for install and changing from rear to forward-facing and vice-versa. Would especially recommend this car seat for folks with larger SUVs or minivans and larger babies.

Perfect for growing kiddos

haliekristine

We have a newborn and a toddler - this works perfect for both!! So much so that we haven’t decided which one we’d like to use it for yet. First impression was that it’s beautiful! I love the neutral light color. I tested this out with my toddler and he thought it was very comfortable as well. It was very easy to adjust for his height and get him buckled in. We did a test install in my husbands car and that was a breeze! We are thinking we will use for our toddler as he’s moving front facing. It was very simple to switch from toddler size to newborn size if we needed. I love the flexibility this provides and that it can grow with our children for a long time! Pictures for size reference on kiddos only - didn’t want to wake my newborn! Received as part of stellar product testing.

Great quality quick and easy install

Mel19

I really like this car seat! My daughter was so excited to try it as soon as it came in the mail. It is so pretty and feels VERY sturdy but not too heavy. I have full confidence this would keep her safe if we were to be in a crash. The fabric is very good quality, and easy to wipe clean. My daughter is 3 and still rear facing and it is still comfy for her legs and she has said it’s very cozy! Install is so easy with the latching system! I LOVE that feature. Proper fit is pretty typical, it takes a few minutes but is good once it’s set! I will say we have had some trouble with the straps twisting but I think that’s more my toddler than the car seat. I did get this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I easily would have spent full price for this seat. We love it!

Comfortable easy to clean and parent friendly

Brianna0119

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. I absolutely love the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat. One of the best features is the fabric—it’s fully removable and very easy to clean, which is a huge plus with kids. The seat is heavily cushioned and feels extremely comfortable, giving me peace of mind that my child is well supported on longer rides. The cup holders are sturdy and actually useful—they hold both bottles and kids’ cups without tipping. Installation was also very straightforward, which I really appreciated. The only minor downside is that the straps can occasionally get twisted, though that seems to be common with most car seats. It’s also not the slimmest option, so if you’re tight on space, that’s something to consider. Overall, this is a high-quality, comfortable, and well-designed car seat, and I would definitely recommend it.

Happy toddler

tkemp

I’ve been very happy with the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat. I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and immediately fell in love. Most importantly, my son loves it! Installation was quick and stress-free, which immediately gave me confidence in the setup. The convertible design is a big advantage, and the seat feels spacious and supportive for my one-year-old who is off the charts for both height and weight. The fabric is exceptionally soft and high quality while still being easy to clea making it perfect for everyday use. My favorite features are the sleek and roomy design, overall quality, and how simple it is to install. The only small downside is that the buckle can take a little getting used to compared to magnetic buckles I’ve used before, but it hasn’t been a major issue. Overall, I love this car seat and would definitely recommend to new parents!

Great all in one carseat

Cece

This carseat is a great all in one option! It is super light weight for an all in one carseat, which will make it easy to transfer when needed. I love that the instruction manual was simple and easy to read. Installation was quick and easy as well. I've found that it can be hard to get the right angle for an infant with all in one seats, but that is not the case with this seat. I am using it rear facing and my baby looks safe and well angled. The materials this is made out of look luxurious! That is the only way to describe it. It is beautiful and super comfy looking! My baby looks comfy and easily falls asleep in this seat. I drive a small SUV and I do have to put the front seat pretty far forward for this seat to fit, but that seems to be the case with all rear facing seats. Overall, I am really liking this carseat. I am grateful to have received this carseat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Easy to Ensure Proper Strap Tightness

HiveJiver

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. My daughter is 23 months old and rides rear-facing. My favorite thing about the Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One Car Seat is how easy it is to tighten the straps when securing my daughter. I noticed the difference immediately on the first use. With our previous carseat, it was a struggle to pull the straps tight enough to pass the pinch test. I love the peace of mind that my daughter is as safe as possible. While I was able to install the carseat on my own, it did take effort to tighten the latch straps. However, this was not any different than other carseats we have used. The Maxi Cosi Pria carseat seems cushier due to the padding/fabric. The only thing I noticed is that the fabric is more sensitive to Velcro and other rough materials. After only a few weeks of use, there was pilling in the fabric where the sides of her boots/shoes rubbed.

Super soft but built to last through the stages

Leahkaye11

This car seat has been such a great addition to our family, and my overall impression is that it’s thoughtfully designed, incredibly comfortable, and built to last through every stage. I love the all-in-one convertible design because it grows with your child from infancy through big-kid years, and the soft, plush fabrics truly feel cozy and high-quality—my kiddo is always happy climbing in. It seems like it takes up more room than other car seats, it’s not as space saving, but makes up for it with the super soft cushioned fabric. My baby loves it and always falls asleep easily. Installation was straightforward, and adjusting the harness and headrest to get a secure fit was quick and easy, even when switching between stages. What I like most about this car seat is how it perfectly balances safety, comfort, and ease of use while still looking sleek and stylish in the car, making it a product I genuinely feel confident recommending to other parents. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

Riding on a cloud

Leeleeg

This Car Seat is impressively substantial yet surprisingly lightweight, which makes moving it from car to car much easier than expected. Installation was straightforward and stress-free—no complicated new technology, just a simple, familiar setup that works. One of the biggest highlights is the size. This seat is clearly designed to grow with your child for years, yet the base has a relatively small footprint. It fits beautifully in my midsize SUV without spilling over into my older kids’ seating space, which is a huge plus. The padding is incredibly plush and soft—my toddler genuinely looks like he’s riding on a cloud. He’s completely content in this seat with zero fuss, which says a lot about the comfort level. Achieving the proper recline is effortless thanks to the clear, easy-to-read level indicators on the sides, giving peace of mind that the seat is positioned correctly every time. Overall, this is a fantastic car seat. It’s attractive, comfortable, easy to use, and most importantly, my child is happy and secure in it. A solid choice for parents looking for long-term value without sacrificing comfort. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

Average carseat

Lynn

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. It has been nice to test out a convertible car seat. I have two little ones - 2.5 and a 10 month old. I wanted to try it out with my 10 month old but my 2.5 year old’s current car seat was so dirty I decided to give it a try with her! To start, I thought that like other car seats I have used in the past, this one would utilize the LATCH system and anchors for forward facing but it does not. Turns out, it uses the actual seatbelt woven through the back of the car seat to secure it and also has a strap on the back of the car seat to secure near the headrest. That was my first experience with that style, but it seems pretty secure. I did enjoy the soft fabric and it seems my toddler is quite comfortable. I think that would be my favorite part. My only dislike is that the buckle does not seem the best quality and is not as smooth as i would like. The top plastic clasp doesn’t feel like the greatest quality and the lower metal buckle portion feels a bit choppy trying to secure it. It seems to be an average convertible type car seat. I did notice that it has a lot of extra padding for smaller babies which is a nice feature.

Road trips best friend

Thank you to Stellar Product Review for giving me the opportunity to try this product! I have absolutely loved using my new Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat! Installation was a breeze—seriously so quick and stress-free. It was incredibly easy to adjust for the perfect fit, and we were ready to go in no time. We started out using it rear-facing and have recently transitioned to forward-facing, and I honestly love it both ways! My husband was able to make quick adjustments to get the perfect fit, and then we were ready to hit the road. The fabric feels amazingly soft on my little one’s skin, and the plush cushioning makes car rides so much more comfortable—happy baby, happy parents! I also love the neutral design; it’s such a beautiful, timeless look that works with any car interior. One of my favorite things about this car seat is how well it fits in my mid-size SUV. There’s still plenty of room for the driver’s seat to adjust, which is a huge bonus when you have tall parents in the family. I would absolutely recommend the Maxi-Cosi Pria to any parent looking for a car seat that grows with their child—from rear-facing all the way to booster stage. It’s a total win for comfort, style, and convenience!

Comfortable plush carseat

Blackash88

When I took the Maxi Cosi Pria carseat out of the box, I was very impressed with the plush, comfortable fabrics that it is made of. This seat just has really great features including premium push on lower anchor connectors that made this carseat easy to install. I really liked the harness and crotch buckle covers that make this so comfortable for my daughter. It is very easy to adjust the harness and headrest height and there are nice little pockets to hold the harness out of the way when buckling a child in. I also appreciate a carseat that has multiple modes of use. Being able to eventually use this forward facing and as a high back booster is another great feature. The reason I'm only giving this carseat 4 stars is it is a very large bulky carseat when used rear facing. It will not fit in compact cars without moving the passenger seat up. I was able to fit it in my larger SUV but not my hatchback. It also requires a more reclined install for children under 30lbs. I needed to use a rolled towel to achieve this angle in my car even with the built in recline settings on the carseat. I would only recommend this carseat if you are putting it in a larger vehicle as baby and I really do like how comfortable and safe it feels. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for sending us the Maxi Cosi Pria carseat to test out.

Solid 10 Year All in One Car Seat Choice

Minininja

The Maxi Cosi Pria is a solid choice for an All-in-One, 10 year car seat. The seat supports rear facing up to 40lbs and 40ins and the booster mode goes up to 100lbs and 52ins. Install is simple with a QR code on the side taking you to Maxi Cosi’s site to view the manual and links to installation videos. A very nice feature on this car seat that caught my eye was removable cup holders. This allows for easy cleaning and they are dishwasher safe! The padding is comfortable and thick. There have been complaints from my 30lb 2 year old or 50lb 6 year old. Adjusting the straps for the size can be a bit difficult. The straps are not non-rethread meaning you have to remove the straps and thread them through the appropriate slots for the size child using the seat. This is the only reason I took 1 star away from this seat. If you are using this seat for 1 child, it is not a problem but will require you to uninstall the seat as the child grows and the straps need adjusting. Adjusting the recline and headrest were a breeze. Another notable love about this car seat is the weight. It is very light for an all-in-one. It is approved for airplanes and having a lightweight car seat to bring on the flight is a big plus. Overall a great pick to keep your little ones safe from birth. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

AMAZING CARSEAT

Lydia

I love this car seat!!! I got it free to try in exchange for a completely honest review via Stellar Testing Panel. I already had a multi stage car seat and it was a very well known brand and recommended car seat. I had never heard of this brand so I did some research on it and saw tons of good reviews. When I took it out of the box, the first this I noticed was the thick cushions that were much softer than the ones in my baby’s current car seat. My little one is 14 months old and this car seat was perfect for him. Granted it will be useful through many more stages as well as it is an all in one convertible car seat that will grow with him, making it a worth while investment. I check out the safety ratings for this car seat and was very pleased. Everything about it feels luxurious. My other car seat had all the same features but feels rinky dinky compared to this one. Also my biggest issue with my previous car seat was it would get loose or wiggly over time which was a big safety concern. This one is a champ so far and I check it every time I put my baby in it and it has not been loose once. My baby seems to love it and be less fussy on car rides so I assume it’s more comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this car seat and wish I had gotten it to begin with. I have been telling everyone about how nice this car seat is and how much safer I feel my baby is.

Premium carseat feel but difficult to utilize

apelady55

I received this carseat in Sea Drift color through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The fabric is super soft and cushioned. I love that the fabric is 100% recycled and made without fire-retardant. Feels like a premium carseat. The color is quite light… like a very light tan/gray/beige so I worry about stains as we are a snack-in-the-car family. I felt like the instructions did not cover all the important information needed to properly secure the seat. For example, I was trying to move the LATCH belt to the forward facing position and there was no mention of the proper way of doing this in the booklet. I had to look online for a video. Even so it still felt strange as the LATCH belt is attached to the carseat by a piece of fabric that remains inside the rear facing path. It didn’t feel like I was doing it correctly. I like that the drink holders are easily removable for washing but also they are small! They do not fit most water bottles. The 5 point harness is a little difficult to open as well. I find the button really tough to disengage. My daughter does like how comfortable the carseat is but she gets upset because she ends up having to wait for me to get her out because of the tricky button. The best part about the carseat is how lightweight it is. I’ve already switched it back and forth between vehicles and it’s not as cumbersome as other carseats I’ve had before. I can definitely lift it without too much effort. Overall it’s a decent choice if you’re looking for something lighter with convertibility and premium fabrics. Not super user friendly in my opinion though.

Comfy and Lightweight but Mind the Small Details

Alayna

The first thing I noticed about the Pria car seat which I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel—even before taking it out of the box—is that it is incredibly lightweight! When I picked up the box to bring it inside, I actually wondered if there was even a car seat inside. This is easily my favorite feature because it makes the seat so much easier to handle than the heavy, clunky models I’m used to. After opening the box, I was really impressed by the convertible, all-in-one design. Knowing this seat will grow with my daughter is a huge plus. The fabrics are noticeably soft and cozy, and the seat looks very well-padded. I felt confident that my daughter would be comfortable, especially during our long one-hour drives to the nearest grocery supercenter. Installation and adjustment were a bit of a mixed bag. Securing the seat into the car was straightforward, but I did struggle with the head-raise mechanism. To ensure the straps are positioned correctly at the child’s shoulders, you have to push the handle in and pull up at the same time. It’s quite stiff and difficult to do while holding a child; a "squeeze and pull" handle would be much more user-friendly. I also noticed a slightly annoying detail regarding the inserts: the head insert for younger children just pulls right out and isn’t attached to the body insert. When I removed the seat from the box, the headpiece fell out immediately. If I hadn't noticed, it could have easily been lost or thrown away with the packaging. I’d love to see a secure pocket or some Velcro to keep those pieces together. Despite those small design tweaks, the combination of the lightweight frame and the premium, cozy feel makes this a great choice for long-term use.

Mom Approved Long Term Car Seat

cpartyof5

Overall, this is a great convertible car seat. It’s simple, straight forward, easy to install, and quite attractive. It has the appearance of a high end car seat, without such a high price tag. Having an all-in-one design that is easily convertible is such a relief. Parents nowadays are busier than ever, so not having to research new car seats every 1-2 years is major. To me, the Maxi Cosi Pria fits the bill! Since I received this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I wanted to test it out for both of my toddlers. I started with my rear facing (almost) 2-year-old. She was super cozy, and we LOVED all the cushy comfort details like the infant pillow insert and strap cover pads. The extra cushion around the buckle feels revolutionary and is a game changer for those little exposed legs. This should be standard in every car seat!! The harness release button is also extremely smooth and effortless. My son is a forward-facing, average sized 4 1/2- year-old. I have to tell you that the QuikFit feature which allows you to raise the harness and headrest without rethreading the harness itself was AMAZING. Leave some slack in the harness and voila, it raises and lowers with the squeeze of the handle and it’s soooo quick and easy. Removing the infant insert was also simple. I think we’ll have no issues when he’s ready for the regular seat belt as well. This car seat fits comfortably in my mid-sized SUV, and it’s in a captain’s chair, so the car seat is not too wide/bulky. My eldest has to go around this seat to exit the vehicle, and it’s been totally fine for her. The materials are soft, and high quality; they appear to be quite breathable for summer. The overall design is lush and my 4-year-old says it is super comfortable; I think it looks and feels safe, too. This is a fantastic option for a long term car seat!

Great car seat but would love some updates

Alex

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This car seat is great, especially for the price point, but I would love to see some of the features updated. The installation was straight forward for rear facing using the LATCH anchors. Ensuring the seat was properly reclined was a breeze with the one touch recline button, and adjusting the headrest location to properly size the top of the shoulder straps was also quite easy - not rethreading straps into a different hole on the back of the seat. The one thing that wasn’t a breeze was tightening the LATCH straps. The base of the seat is so substantial that it got in the way of easily maneuvering the straps. I eventually got it tight, but it felt harder than it needs to be. Maybe consider adding the True Tension/True Lock system like other seats use on future models. The thing we were most excited about was the cup holders. So many car seats we have used have the cup holder attachments and they just get broken off or lost. The cup holders on this car seat are built in to the seat which makes it look nice and is definitely more sturdy for toddler use. The downsides of the built in cup holders would be that you can’t easily pop it off to clean out sticky mess. They are still fairly easy to clean by wiping though. The biggest let down of the cup holders though was a surprise…our daughter’s water bottles don’t fit in them. So they’re useless to us. I think a small baby bottle would fit fine, but the very popular brands such as Camelbak don’t fit. This was a huge disappointment. The other big disappointment was the weight limit and rear facing leg room on this seat. We have had many different car seat brands and the ones we like the most, use the most are the ones that have the higher weight and length limit. This seat is great for our 15 month old, but is almost pointless as a convertible seat for our 3.5 year old. The fabric is very soft, love it. The harness is very easy to loosen and tighten. The button to loosen the harness is in a much better spot than other car seats we have used, I was very happy with this. I didn’t have to dig around and hurt my fingers to try to loosen the strap each time, yet it is also still in a very safe spot for kids not to be able to access it while in the seat. Great design!

Great all in one

Sabrina

This car seat is wonderful. I love the inserts for the newborn stage and smaller kids, my husband says that they do come out a little too easily but our daughter is small and I like the extra support they give her. It was very easy to install with the latch system and we're still rear facing with it right now with no issues. The material is very cushy and my daughter seems very comfortable in it. My favorite feature is the adjustable back so I dont have to reroute the straps every time my kiddo gets taller, those just make a world of difference. I received this product as a member of the stellar product testing panel in exchange for my honest review.

Great for everyday use

Ciaobella

I received this product through Stellar Panel Product testing. My overall impression of this car seat has been really positive. The convertible, all-in-one design feels incredibly practical since it’s built to grow with your child, and the fabrics are noticeably soft, cozy, and high quality, which makes rides more comfortable for my kiddo. Installation was easier than I expected, with clear steps and simple adjustments that made it easy to get a secure, proper fit without second-guessing. What I like most is how thoughtfully designed it feels overall—it combines comfort, safety, and ease of use in a way that gives me real peace of mind for everyday driving.

Comfortable convertible car seat

Amber

I was given this product by the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out in exchange for my honest opinion. The Maxi Cosi Pria is very comfortable for my infant and I love that it’s convertible so it can continued to be adjusted and used as she grows. The install did not initially feel as straightforward as I hoped but with some time and effort I was able to get a tight fit. Adjusting the seat to fit my child was very simple. My biggest cons would be that I do wish the weight limit for rear facing for this carseat was 50lbs instead of 40lbs and I found that at the most reclined level, which is needed for my child, it was somewhat tight fit even in our truck.

Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat

Maxi

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. Overall, I’ve been very impressed with the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat. It feels thoughtfully designed with both comfort and practicality in mind, making it a great option for growing families. The all in one convertible design is a major highlight. Knowing that this car seat can transition from rear facing to forward facing and eventually to a booster is amazing! One of my favorite features is how good it looks in the car. The design is sleek and modern, and the soft, high-quality fabrics give it a premium feel without sacrificing comfort. It blends in nicely with the interior and doesn’t look bulky or out of place.

Lightweight and Comfy

Mhaynes26

I recently received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, we have been very happy with the quality of the carseat. The first thing I noticed upon receiving the carseat is how lightweight it is. I especially appreciate this since we are often switching car seats between grandparent’s cars. For being lightweight, the Maxi Cosi Pria still feels high quality, with soft, cozy fabrics and comfortable supports for my little one. During each use, my baby has seemed content and comfortable. Following the provided directions made installation quick and simple. I think this car seat will be perfect for using while traveling or when needing a carseat for grandparents, etc. Definitely recommend!

Maxi Cosi Car Seat

Checky44

I was given the Maxi-Cosi Pria All-in-One Convertible Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it has a mix of positives and drawbacks. My favorite part of this car seat is how cushioned it appears to be. The seat looks comfortable and well-padded, and my child seems content riding in it. It’s also relatively lightweight for a convertible car seat, which makes moving it between vehicles easier but makes the frame of the car seat seem cheap and not sturdy. I did find the installation a bit challenging, as it took some effort to get the seat tightened securely. While the light color looks great, it does show dirt and spills easily, so it requires more frequent cleaning. Overall, it’s a decent car seat with good comfort and design.

Cozy and nice

MJP26

Received the Maxi Cosi Pria All in one car seat from Stellar. First impression was it looked luxurious and plush. The fabric stood out and looked soft and high end. Here’s where I have to take down 1 star. The installation was not the easiest, I have installed 4 different brand car seats before this and they were much easier and straight forward than this. Once you get through all the steps it is very secure but it was cumbersome to get there. With new innovative car seats and with the current technology we have now, I wish they kept busy parents in mind and paid more attention to that detail. Otherwise this is a great car seat, looks high end and cozy, and most importantly my daughter finds it comfortable. I totally recommend, just maybe YouTube installation to make things easier.

Lives up to its name

Sheebz

The Maxi Cosi Pria all-in-one Car Seat, first off is beautiful, one of the nicer looking car seats I’ve seen. Second, can tell that this car seat is so much more comfortable for my daughter than the one we have been using. Over all this looks and feels like a high quality car seat, easy to clean, easy to adjust the sizes, adjust the tilt, easy to install, and feels like it’s sturdy / built to last; everything you want in a car seat. This is a larger car seat, not compact at all. With that said, it’s very roomy (as in doesn’t feel like a tight narrow space she sits in) and gives my 1.5 year old daughter more comfort. My favorite thing about this is just seeing my daughter enjoying this seat more than the one we had which tells me this one she prefers. I did receive this car seat through Stellar Product Testing Panel to test and review.

Very Hard to Install

Livvpalm

Product Testing Panel. While the convertible design and lightweight build are nice in theory, the drawbacks outweighed the benefits for our family. Installation was extremely difficult. Achieving a tight, secure fit took multiple attempts and caused significant frustration, including disagreements with my spouse about whether it was installed correctly. The seat also doesn’t recline enough for a baby, even though my toddler seems comfortable. Durability is another concern, as the fabric seams feel cheap for the price. The cup holder is also very small and impractical. Overall, although the seat is convertible and my child appears comfortable once seated, the challenging installation, limited recline, and quality concerns make it hard for me to recommend. I couldn’t even take photos because I wasn’t sure it was installed 100% accurately. I won’t be using this car seat.

Excellent if somewhat bulky car seat

Helena

*I received this product as part of a Stellar testing panel. This car seat is nice to look at, feels quality, and is easy to put baby in and out of. The built in cup holders are a nice touch for toddlers. The only criticism I have of it so far is it is big. I have two different convertible car seats and it's larger than both of them. It would not be ideal for a smaller car.

Wonderful Seat

KrisVW

We have a wide range of kids with ages from 6 mos to 8 years old. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel we were given the opportunity to try the Maxi Cosi Pria All in One Convertible Car Seat. We tried it with our range of ages and I will say I enjoyed it. When our eldest was growing we had a Pria seat and the straps were always so hard to get tight on her shoulders. I was quite pleased to see with this newer model that it was very easy to pull and adjust the straps. The seat is so soft and the materials are very nice. I enjoy that there are not flame retardants used on this seat. The color is very nice as well. It was easy to install and use and the adjustable back is easy to use as well. I feel it gives you a great range for ages and sizes. Thank you again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try their product. I would recommend this to other families looking to have seat from infant hood to childhood.

Great cereeat

Momma

I was thankful to receive this as part of the stellar review program after spending hundreds of dollars on other car seats that don’t seem safe. This one is 10/10 on comfy for my 9 month old recently transitioned from the infant seat. And my favorite thing was that it was easy to install and felt secure (didn’t move like other brands)

All In One Indeed

mmg97760

I am a mom to a newborn, 3 year old and 7 year old. Having the Maxi Cosi Pria All-In-One Car Seat has been perfect for our family of multiple children. It can be used for all three of them, and will allow for my kids to grow with it instead of us having to buy multiple car seats every few years. The car seat came fully assembled in the box but did not include any instructions, so we just looked up a Youtube video to figure out the installation. The installation was simple and straightforward. It looks a lot heavier than it really is - I was able to carry and convert the car seat system without any struggles. All three kiddos tried out the car seat - the newborn was comfortable and didn't cry, while my older two gave me thumbs up ratings. The fabric padding seems thick, durable and comfortable. My favorite features are that all the fabrics and cup holders are removable, so I can easily clean the car set and restore it to its initial condition easily. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

Good but not great

MamaJess

I reviewed the item as a part of the stellar product testing panel. There are some things I love about it but things that are negatives for me. I loved how big and luxurious it seems. I have a big boy and he seems very comfortable in it. It’s wide so he has plenty of room. I also love a car seat that is easy to get in and out. This car seat has the easy clips to easily move from one vehicle to another. I love the grey color scheme. It looks very upscale. I was disappointed however that the fabric started to pill where his feet sit. I noticed this one week into use. It’s not a deal breaker for me but I’ve never had that issue with other products. I also found it difficult to get it level at the infant position and ended up putting it at the next setting in the rear facing position. Luckily he is big enough that it wasn’t an issue. I also found it difficult to adjust the headrest. Overall I have other car seats I could put him in and this one is still my first choice. He seems to be the most comfortable in it. All the negatives weren’t a deal breaker for me.

Toddler can see out of window.

Holeve

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Infant Car Seat for testing. We absolutely love this seat. We are currently using it for my toddler front facing. We have a small suv and she can see out the window since the seat sits higher. We have tried 2 other seats for her and neither reached. The strap holders are great too, she can sit and buckle on her own. Super easy to install and adjust to a toddler. With a push of a button, we can lay it back if need be. The only cons so far are that it is pricey but I think it works out since you can use it longer periods of time. It does take up some space too. With 2 cup holders you cannot remove them to fit next to another car seat.

Great Carseats!

#sweepsteaks

I am very upset with this carseat

Kate

I honestly want to return this seat as it's not at all what I expected. It smells horrid and even after several weeks it still smells! I got this seat thinking it would be safer for my toddler as it's not sprayed with fire proofing stuff and unfortunately I don't feel like it's good for her as it angels so strongly I even smell it when I open my can door! She hates the seat and cried about the smell (she's only 2.5 so that should tell you something) and that the belt strap on the bottom belt part hits her even though she's adjusted correctly in it. It's very hard to unbuckle and she was choking the other day and I could barley get her out fast enough because it's hard to unbuckle! Also there is Styrofoam showing a lot in 2 spots and even if it wasn't an eye sore (which it is) I don't feel like that's normal at all and it's a danger for being picked at, broken abs so forth.

Secure Comfort

Breetalks

Wow! I have 5 kids and this is the nicest car seat we've ever had! They have come such a long way on design and comfort. I was very impressed with the style, cushion comfort, ease and variety of use. It really is an All-in-one seat. I appreciate the multi function from rear facing infant seat to forward facing toddler seat up to 65 lbs. the straps all have some cushion padding to avoid pinches and it has a secure back anchor and ease to lock and release side anchors. The color is sleek and I was able to install it quickly and easily.

Awesome comfy seat

MrsB

My baby girl loved this seat. She hopped in as soon as I took it out of the box. The padding is very nice material, and easy to wipe down. I love that the cup holders are dishwasher safe, that will save so much time and headache of scrubbing them. It's a breeze to adjust tighten the height and the straps. The cushions on the shoulder straps are super plush, better then any other car seat I've used and I'm a mom of 6 and have been through many car seats.

Easiest Installation EVER!

Bllarosa

This car seat was the easiest one I've ever installed, literally. It took me 5 minutes to put it in my car & set a good recline for my 1 year old. Besides the super easy installation, one of my other favorite features is all the adjustable fabric inserts, whether you have an infant or a 2 year old, the fabric inserts help adjust the child to their most comfortable & safest positioning. My son is short, so the padded bottom insert that pushes him up & into the harness fit him perfectly and allows for the harness to set perfectly! This is a high quality product; it feels hefty and the fabric is super soft and cushy. Overall, I'm very impressed with the ease of installation, all the fabric inserts, and the high quality of the product & fabric. This gets 5-stars from this mom of 2 crazy boys! I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

The Perfect Seat!!

MrsT

A car seat is going to be one of the most important purchases we make as parents for our babies and finding one that hits all of the check points for me, is very important. I want safety as well as functionality - the Pria 3-1 gave me everything I needed! First thing I noticed was the weight - it is not overly heavy like other seats I have had, but still feels extremely sturdy and safe. Install was incredibly easy too! I am rear facing a 10 month old using the LATCH system and install took all of 5 minutes (if that!) There is enough room for the front seat to still have adequate leg room when the seat is rear facing too. Adjusting the harness was as simple as pulling the straps while pressing a button on the front of the seat - adjusting the headrest was equally as easy bu pressing a button on the top of the seat. Strap holders keep the straps from twisting (a frustration that every parent knows well) and buckling AND unbucking is an easy task. The fabric is soft and simple to remove in case of accidents that need a quick clean. For reference, I have the seat installed in a Mercedes ML550 While this seat was received through weeSpring Parent Panel, the review is 100% my own.

Highly Recommended Convertible Car Seat!

franchy13

We are a multi-car family living in suburban California and therefore were on the market for a second car seat. The Maxi-Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is a great option for us. Our baby is 6-months old, so rear-facing, at a recline. At first, I thought the two cup holders were unnecessary, but we put her toys in them (for now) and she actually loves the easy access! Install was very easy even though we had to work to get it secured enough using the seatbelt. Pro tip: sit on the seat (yes, you, the parent) and pull the belt tighter and at an angle - that helped a lot! I really like the material and padding on the Pria 3-in-1 - the chest pads, in particular, are really nice and sit nicely on baby's chest. The material is soft and plush and the color is really great! We went on a road trip for over an hour and baby looked comfortable and relaxed the entire time! After using the Maxi-Cosi Pria car seat my favorite features are: the 3-in-1 convertible seat so I don't have to worry about purchasing another one; the material and softness of the seat itself; the dual cupholders! My biggest complaints are: you really have to pull at the right angle to get the buckle secure enough on a smaller baby; the width of the Pria can be too much for some cars; we had to put it in the middle seat to get the proper recline and give up the passenger seat comfort. I would definitely recommend this seat to a friend - I love its safety and overall features. Most of my complaints are personal user issues that I feel are outweighed by a great product! I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

Pleasantly surprised!

Momof3ATL

I was given this car seat to try as part of the weeSpring parent panel and I am so glad I was selected! As a mom of 3 with kids ages 7, 4, and 1, I have been through a few convertible car seats and I have never even considered the Maxi Cosi brand, but I love this seat! All of my children are still riding in some sort of safety seat and I prefer to ride with them 3 across so I can maximize my cargo space. This car seat has a surprisingly slim profile while still providing extra protection for the kiddos along the sides of the car seat. I used the seat with my 1 year old and my 4 year old. It was incredibly easy to adjust the harness and headrest between the two and install both rear and forward facing. Moving the belt buckle was also much easier than other seats I have used in the past. The harness holders are awesome! It's such a small thing, but makes such a big difference having them there. The harness holders made it easier to put the 1 year old in rear facing without having to dig underneath him for the straps and also made it quicker for my forward facing child to do her own seat belt. My 4 year old really liked the fabric. She was really disappointed when I gave the seat back to her baby brother as she felt it was pretty luxurious. I did not wash the cover but I did take it off to see if it was easy to remove and put back on without instructions and I had no issues getting it on or off. I really appreciate having a cover that is machine washable and dryer safe. Children can be very messy and it's no fun having to hand wash a car seat cover and wait for it to drip dry. I did not try the seat in booster mode yet, but it makes me very happy to know I won't have to buy another seat for my youngest.

Luxury Car Seat

Turtlebug0

With three children (ages 6, 4 and 2) we have used a number of various car seats over the years. I have to say that the maxi cosi pria 3-in-1 is definitely the nicest we have had! My just-turned 4 year old loves it. I wish I had had it when one of kids was still in backwards facing infant mode just to get the most longevity out of it but glad we have it for the next few years as we go from harness to booster mode anyway! The fabric feels great, it doesn't get hot to the touch and my daughter hasn't been sweating as much in the hot Georgia summer when getting into the seat. The cushioning is very plush which makes for a comfortable ride but the dual removable dishwasher safe cup holders are hands down my favorite feature! I don't know how kids do it but the cup holders always end up with sticky grime and are so difficult to clean! It IS a slightly larger frame than some other brands and it sits relatively higher in comparison to a couple of my other car seats so that my daughter has to climb up to get into it quite a bit but it doesn't affect her comfort. It just doesn't leave as much room between her legs and the back of the driver's seat in my SUV. I know there are a host of specific safety features but I think if you are in this price range you are expecting most of that. I didn't have any issues installing (I'm 5'2" and the seat is not too heavy or bulky for me to lift) or adjusting the straps or height for my daughter. It's all straight forward and comparable to most car seats I would say. In general the fabric, cushioning and aesthetic is what is the bang for the buck on the maxi cosi pria. My daughter absolutely loves her new car seat! Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me this car seat - my daughter thanks you too!

Most comfortable seat in the house

kkozinski

I was thrilled to receive this car seat for free courtesy of the weeSpring parent panel in exchange for my honest review. When it showed up at my door I immediately started digging into the box and the first thing I noticed was how light it was compared to our existing convertible car seat. I think a lot of people would enjoy this fact although admittedly for us once we had the seat installed it pretty much stayed there permanently unlike an infant seat that you're taking in and out constantly. Adjusting and tightening the straps was very easy, as was the headrest. They pulled smoothly and the cushioned shoulder straps were nice but they tended to get folded over onto themselves so we'd have to adjust them to sit right. Comfort is definitely the name of the game with this car seat. The fabric is extremely plush and soft and it includes 2 removable cupholders for snacks and/or drinks during your journey, and the fabric is removable and machine washable as well. My only complaint here is that the cupholders were just a little too small to hold our water bottle and snack cup and although we could put the snacks directly into the cupholder it was hard for them to reach once they were tightened down. There are only 3 levels of recline with this one and in rear-facing mode you're limited to just 2. The biggest area we struggled with was installation. I read over the instructions multiple times but still had a hard time getting the seat to feel secure in the car. We first tried using the LATCH system and even after pulling on the tightening strap as hard as I could it still felt like it moved around too much. With the seat belt you are required to fish the seat belt through a channel in the car seat. The small opening combined with constantly fighting the pull back on the seat belt required some patience and a few tries to get it through. This method felt more secure than the LATCH connector.

Safety, comfort and design in one great seat!

Lizzy

This is my third baby so this is my third convertible car seat. The Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat is by far my favorite. It has all the features that I loved about my other car seats combined into one. I originally started my newborn out in an infant car seat but he looked so uncomfortable I decided to try him in the Pria. I love the soft, luxurious fabric on the Pria. The extra cushioning not only makes him look much more comfortable but also looks so much safer if there were to be an accident. The Pria also has a infant positioning pillow for small newborns to sit on to get a better and safer seating position. This really helped my small baby sit better in such a big seat. The headrest is great for keeping his head positioned properly so that it doesn't fall into an air-way constricting position. I haven't tried taking off the car seat cover yet but it looks fairly simple which is necessary when blowouts and throw up happens (trust me, they will happen). One thing I think is a must is the seat belt covers that keep the belts from digging into baby's neck. The seat belts are very easy to adjust as baby grows with just a pull on the headrest. I absolutely love that the Pria has the easy LATCH system. The easy LATCH system makes it so simple to move this car seat from one car to another with just the click of a button. Installation was a breeze with just a click and a tighten. Another great feature is the removable and dishwasher safe cup holders. Those things are always getting dirty once baby becomes a toddler. The only negative to me was the seat belt covers are a little large and a bit too easy to come off. This can make buckling in a newborn difficult. Ultimately though the Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is a great car seat that I would definitely recommend to everybody. It has all the best safety, comfort and design features I wanted and more. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat.

Frustrated to say the least

Noah

We have this car seat for our now 3 year old and the last year or so the strap has become just impossible to tighten. Wife had to drive the very short drive to daycare this morning with very loose straps and wants it out of the van ASAP. Disappointed is an understatement. I have taken the seat out multiple times trying to figure it out and every time I take it out there does not appear to be a tangled belt or anything, then I install it back in the car and we cannot tighten it around him. Doing research online this is apparently an issue with the brand I wish I knew before we bought it.

Defective, Unsafe & Customer Service Did Nothing

Gina M.

The Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One is a horrible, unsafe car seat. From the very first use, the strap that tightens the chest harness gets stuck, not allowing us to tighten the harness all the way, making the seat incredibly unsafe & really unable to be used. Additionally, the shoulder straps get twisted every single time which all parents know is super annoying. I reached out to Maxi Cosi customer service two months ago letting them know we were having this issue and I never heard back. Horrible customer service. We were unable to return this item since I received it as a baby shower gift and since this seat is generally for toddlers we didn't try it until our daughter was about 1 years old, which means the product is outside the return window. We cut our losses and ended up buying the Evenflo Revolve360 and we LOVE IT.

Don't even bother - Its just show!

mc.xo

We got into a minor collision and had to replace our car seat, so we went from the Graco All-In-One to this one and I have regretted since. Our 3 year old is about 149cm tall and this barely got 1 year use and its been such a pain to adjust as he grew... I'll give it 1 star because the washable seat cover is useful. However, this the strap are so tight and restricting. This has ended up costing more since we have to replace it so the one we had before.

0/10

My child just turned 6 months and I've had issues with this car seat for the last 4 months. Honestly, I only purchased it because it was compatible with my Wonderfold infant seat attachment. It ripped. No big deal. Then the canopy came out- and not just the sides that attach into the seat itself (which ALWAYS pop out- annoying). So now I can't even use the canopy (we're in Florida *eye roll* it's needed), because the back pulls up and exposes everything from behind. Then, the actual car seat cloth cover it not pulled up from the top back on the seat. It sticks out and smothers my child's face from time to time. Especially if its off the foam enough for her to grab since we're at that stage. At this point it's a safety issue. The foam also is being exposed and increasing the likelihood for faults if I am to get into an accident. Love that for me and my infant. To top it off, I reached out to Dorel to warranty the seat.. It's been 2 weeks and I've emailed them 2x. I received ZERO response back and am ready to just go purchase a new seat from a different brand. I've never experienced so many issues with a seat as I have with my Maxi Cosi Mico Luxe Infant Car Seat. I am not happy. This is my 4th child and I have never had issues with Safety First or reaching out to Dorel before. I might just be frustrated, but as of now I would NOT recommend Maxi Cosi at all.

Have to buy a new car seat 🚮

Eric

Worst car seat, my friends have said the same thing... the straps are unable to tighten from the front strap after a couple of months, you have to pull from the back which will be impossible once you switch the seat around to front facing... expensive but build terribly. No refund available, and we definitely dont want the same car seat as we've heard the same review from multiple friends

Disappointed

Lyv1

Very disappointed with this car seat. It’s is so huge and bulky and very difficult to install compared to other car seats. My passenger seat has to be so far forward no one can sit in it comfortably and I have a mid sized suv. So difficult to get it to reclined on the proper position. It’s very unfortunate that car seats can’t be returned.

Plush, Soft, and Easy to Install

Malkarai

I recently received the Pria 3-in-1 from the weeSpring Parent Panel. Inside contained the seat, instructions for it's different setups, and a card for registering with the company. After reading the instructions, we had the seat set up and installed in our vehicle in record time. The locking clips made installation a cinch. We had no problems setting the correct reclining position and getting it leveled in our vehicle. Our son absolutely loved the seat; the height of the seat allowed him to see out of the window and back seat. He was constantly in giggles from the sights. The fabric is incredibly soft and the seat is plush. The straps have a soft cover that keeps them from digging into my son's neck. They are absolutely wonderful for his torticolis. Overall, this is an amazing seat that gives me peace of mind to protect my son during our travels.

MaxiCosi Pria 3-in-1 is a winner!!

FashionistaMama

We received this carseat through the weeSpring Parent Panel. Coincidentally, we already have a carseat from Maxi-Cosi which we love. My favorite features about the Maxi-Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is the super luxe, soft fabric, and that it seats up to 100 pounds, so we technically won't have to buy another car seat later on. We have the Pria 70 in our other car, and I prefer the fit of the Pria 3-in-1--my son looks so comfortable and cozy in it! It was straight forward to install, and my husband didn't need to break out the instructions. The headrest is easy to adjust, and loosening & tightening the harness is a lot smoother on this model. I also love the neutral, pretty colors (pics attached). The strap holders are a really nice bonus to keep the buckles from swinging around when we travel. The fabric is easy to remove, which is a must as our kids frequently get car sick and we can throw it in the washing machine. It's also a breeze to put the fabric back on the car seat frame. I love this new car seat and highly recommend it!

I was contacted by weeSpring Parent Panel to test out the Maxi Cosi 3 in 1 Pria and it couldn't have come at a better time. I used an infant car seat that went with the stroller when babe was little but she had outgrown that, was getting miserable, and needed to upgrade to a convertible car seat. The Maxi Cosi 3 in 1 Pria can be used when babe is an infant but I waited until she was older and sitting unassisted (because of the stroller combo). Because of this, I installed the car seat on the Position 2 recline (rear facing when babe is old enough to sit unassisted) which provided tons of leg room for the front seat passenger in my mid-size SUV. This car seat is huge but super plush and comfy. On the Position 3 recline for rear facing infants I'm not sure how much leg room would be left for the front seat passanger in a smaller car. Install with Latch Anchors was fairly easy and the strap holders makes it very easy to put babe in and not get straps tangled. The no thread headrest and harness makes getting a good fit really easy. There are two cup holders that are super convenient and come out for easy cleaning. The super plush seat lining comes off easily and is machine washable AND dryer safe. Getting the lining back on wasn't the easiest but wasn't the hardest. I am very happy with this car seat although I would be cautious if I had a sedan or had plans on moving the seat between cars.

Nice seat but could use s few tweaks

What I loved about this convertible car seat was how comfy it seems! My daughter seems nice and cozy while sitting in her seat and always manages to fall asleep! The seatbelts tighten like a dream and the headrest is extremely easy to adjust! They added little clips on the sides to hold back the straps so they don't get tangled underneath your child's butt which is very clever! The incline also adjusts relatively easy by putting pressure on the bottom lever and slightly pushing the chair into a recline position. The Pria 3-1 seems very sturdy and places in the car farely easily but keep in mind it is an all in one for there is some weight to it! How amazing is it to only have to buy one seat and know it will be able to grow with your child. I tested out this seat with my 10 month old as well as with my 4 year old, and they both sat great and securely. They both seemed to love having 2 cup holders that they could stash away snacks and somewhere to put there drinks! I thought it was brillant to be able to remove the cups by turning them counter clockwise for easy cleanings! The cup holders get so mungy so to be able to take those off is great! I did just for reference remove the cover and give it a wash which seemed pretty simple. I figured out buttons and snaps quickly and threw it in the wash- allowing it to air dry. Came out nicely! Personally I do find the fabric on this seat a bit "cheap" looking. It seemed to wrinkle easily. I tend to prefer not to feel the plastic frame underneath when running my fingers along the side of the seat. What I did have an issue with was tightening the latching system. No matter how hard I tugged, while either sitting on the chair itself or having my husband push down, I never seemed to be able to adequately tighten the straps! It was nearly impossible to tighten the latching system. It was a nightmare! Mother thing to keep in mind is the added cushions for smaller babies just float around in the seat, Which I didn't love

I was sent this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel to review. As soon as I saw it, I thought to myself, "So that's what love at first sight feels like." It's beautiful, practical and well thought out. For instance, the fabric is moisture-wicking, machine washable, and soft. For a baby who spits up, this is a BIG bonus. My baby used to hate her car seat but now coos at me whenever I put her in the Pria. She's even still smiling (or sleeping) when I pull to tighten the straps (thanks to the shape and padding of the shoulder cushions). The fit customizations are easy-to-use, intuitive and (this is crucial) adjustable using only one hand. The headrest is raised with the push of a button, the seat reclines with the push of another, and the straps are tightened with a single firm pull. I can put my water bottle, phone and keys in the cup holders (there are TWO) while I get my baby situated. And, I did a little research and loved that Maxi Cosi far surpasses all safety regulations going above and beyond to maximize your baby's comfort... which is music to this moms ears. I did have a couple car compatibility issues but none that were without solution. With bucket-style rear seats, the built in angle adjustments aren't quite enough to get that level line parallel to the ground. The company recommends a pool noodle be placed under the car seat-which adds about 2" to the width of the base- covering the rear seat belts. While the middle would have been my first choice, without tether clips in that seat, it wasn't possible. I feel safe with her on the side, but this decreases leg room up front, and doesn't fit behind the drivers seat when my husband drives. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend the Pria. Even with my challenges, it's been a joy to use. It's beautiful, easy to wipe clean, and easy enough to machine wash. Most of all, my baby is safe and happy in this car seat. It makes running errands fun instead of a chore - how many car seats can you say that about?

Go and Grow 3-In-One

I received the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat as a part of the weeSpring parent panel. I instantly fell in love with this seat from its luxurious look and feel to its many safety features this car seat is truly on that my child can go and grow with! The addition of the infant add on makes it easy to start my newborn off with. The added belt strap pads are easy on her shoulders and also add extra comfort to her face when rubbed against. There is an ease of putting her in and out of the seat, in which the side belt holders come in handy. The added safety features provide a peace of mind to me as a parent knowing that my little one will be safe throughout her full use of this 3-in-1 seat. I truly recommend this seat to any parents that are looking for a seat that their little ones can be on the go and grow with!

We love this seat!

I love Maxi Cosi car seats and the Pria 3-in1 is a real improvement over the Pria 70 that I used to use for my kids. I recently upgraded to the Maxi Cosi Magellan after hitting a deer and loved that seat too but it's noticeably heavier than the Pria 3-in-1. I love that the Pria 3-in-1 has dual cup holders which are removable and dishwasher safe. The square red button on the buckle is easier to press to open than the round ones on the Magellan or Pria 70. I like the strap holders that prevent the straps from twisting and also make it easier to put my toddler back in his seat. The harness & headrest are both super easy to adjust. My inner neat freak appreciates the slot in the back near the bottom where the manual can be easily stored. I also appreciate that you can easily remove and machine wash the entire car seat cover. The fabric is super cushy but not quite as nice as the Magellan - which is to be expected given the price difference. The Pria 3-in-1 is easy to install but it would be nice to have a bubble level rather than a solid line to compare to the ground - but a very minor point in my opinion. If you're on the fence about the Pria 3-in-1, buy it! You won't regret it. I'm a huge fan of Maxi Cosi car seats so I was stoked when the Wee Spring Parent Panel sent me the Pria 3-in-1 car seat in exchange for my honest review. My little guy loves it, too!

A luxury experience for your little one..

When you've been given two of the most precious gifts on Earth, their safety is always on your mind. I was given the luxurious Maxi-Cosi Pria 3-in-1 car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel with my 13 lb/ 4 month old and my 30 lb/ 3 year old. First and foremost is the ability to fit in your vehicle. I attempted to install the Pria 3-in-1 in the grandparents' Lincoln MKC, rear facing. It did not fit. I installed successfully in my 2007 Toyota Rav4 as rear facing, but it was a very tight fit. I had to place a dishtowel under the base to get it to lean back far enough to be level. It still wasn't completely level. I wish the level line was a level bubble - that would have made install much easier. After a week, I realized a birth-to-booster was not right for our lifestyle. Luxury does not outweigh the convenience of a bucket seat for portability of a sleepy baby. I switched it over to my 3 year old. Changing from rear facing to forward facing was easy. They offer a "one-click easy install" with a manual pull LATCH system strap. The easy-to-adjust shoulder harness automatically raises to fit each child. The infant padding easily lifted out (both a pro and a con). The shoulder pads were too large for my infant, and I found them to be very cumbersome for my child. A tri-fold shoulder pad would have been better. I wish the back and head/neck padding could be used in older child settings. The padding around the crotch buckle is a nice touch. I appreciate that there are multiple settings to adjust the buckle placement for growing children. There are 2 cup holders on this seat, but quite frankly they need a redesign. They are removable/dishwasher safe, but they are not large enough to fit a standard toddler water bottle. Useless. All of the car seat fabric/padding easily removes and can be washed. I love that there is memory foam in the padding for added comfort and luxury. Overall, this is a good car seat.

Nearly perfect, some difficulties installing.

What a lightweight, easy, and sleek looking car seat! I was given this product to try out as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and when it arrived, it was SO easy to get out and set up. It basically came completely ready to go right in the car and at first glance, it is seriously so good looking. I love the feel of the fabric-very soft, but also sturdy, so you know it can be cleaned multiple times and hold it's quality. I immediately noticed the varying inserts that you can use for smaller infants, and although our little one is not so little anymore, I look forward to trying this out on his younger brother/sister! It was relatively easy to attach to the car via the LATCH or seatbelt system. We used the LATCH system and needed to make sure that we adjusted the angle of the seat before we attached, because it's very difficult to adjust the recline once installed. My favorite feature BY FAR is these little wonderful strap holders so when putting the child into the seat, you don't have to struggle with getting the straps from underneath them once sitting. This seriously is a lifesaver. Overall, between the look, feel of fabric, ease of use, and safety features, I really really wanted to give this seat 5 stars. However, the one thing that tripped me up was the fact that once installed, the seat seems to easily pull up from the back of the unit (when installed rear facing) EVEN with extra support stuck under the front end (pool noodle, rolled up towel, etc...). We tried tightening it every which way and backwards to the sun and after an hour of cussing and seating, we gave up. We tried installing it with the seat belt feature, and that didn't seem to do much better. Overall, I realize this could be due to 1) car type, and 2) installer incompetence :) so we will try again with different cars and different installers and see what happens! I would imagine that this seat would work wonderful for parents who don't need to move it and have better vehicles.

I used the rear-facing mode for my 18 month old (23lbs and 31in). I appreciated that it came in the box fully assembled. This is our first Maxi-Cosi product and I am impressed with the quality and the added features. Overall, I will definitely be considering the Maxi Cosi brand for future baby purchases! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product. Pros: - The angles of the seat and leg rest allow for more leg room than our other seat which is helpful to keep our son rear-facing for longer. I can say it definitely LOOKS like he is more comfortable, with more room (width and length) than our other name brand 4-in-1 car seat. Padding is definitely thicker than other brands too. -The harness holders aren't necessary, but totally awesome. Esp. when you have a wriggling toddler, it keeps the straps from getting twisted or stuck– making in and out easier on mom. -The silver color might be harder to keep clean but the seat cover is machine washable! -Adjustable headrest and one-click LATCH system make install and set up easy, (although most major brands include these features). Easy to switch to forward-facing. -I think the padding on the bottom buckle is more comfortable than having just the plastic buckle between his legs. -Harness chest clip is very easy to operate, requiring just a push of one clasp with the thumb. -Cupholders are removable to be cleaned and they don't stick out further than the sides of the seat so it saves on space. Also, the cupholders are within reach for our toddler. Cons: -The circumference of the cupholders could be larger to accommodate bigger sippy cups or water bottles. -The harness covers at the shoulders need to be slightly smaller and/or have stronger (or bigger) Velcro strips. They are too easy to remove and my son continues to take them off after I reattach them. The downside to not having the harness covers on is that the edge of the harness strap digs into his neck and collarbone and is not comfortable.

Comfort, safety & style—Maxi Cosi may be my new go-to brand

I own a different premium brand infant car seat and stayed with that line when we invested in our first convertible. I've LOVED these seats and always thought I'd buy exclusively from that brand, but I think we might be a Maxi Cosi family going forward. The Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is 100% on par with the premium seats we own, at a far better price point, and even more thoughtful in its features & design. The fabric is SO soft with custom inserts for every stage, and the shoulder pads are a marked improvement over those of both our current car seats (which sometimes pinch my girls when tightening or allow the harness straps to rub). Love the chest clip too! With its larger size & slimmer profile it garnered zero complaints from our 14-month-old & 3-year-old girls (who often have something to say about theirs being too tight). It's really easy for my ultra-independent 3-year-old to buckle too, which makes for a happier start to each ride. A BIG shout-out on the harness holders! They are thoughtful, well-designed and actually work. It's like Maxi Cosi shadowed me to see where my other seats' holders were failing and came up with a design that had all the answers. They make in-and-outs easy and seem to help prevent twisted straps (happy day!). And let's not forget the REMOVABLE, dishwasher-safe cup holders that my girls can actually reach. This should be standard on all car seats. It's so great. The Pria 3-in-1 fits comfortably in our small cars and prioritizes safety, while still providing comfort. The GCell® side impact technology is especially important to me with our girls seated on either side. Installation is straightforward and the one-click LATCH connectors are a breeze to fasten & unfasten. BOTTOM LINE: I'm really impressed and would highly recommend. We buy premium brands for all our long-term use baby gear, and I'd place this in direct competition with any of those, and at a better price point. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sharing it with us!

Bummed about quality

SR718

Maxi cosi has been our go to for our children over the past years. We had the pria 85 for two children and absolutely loved it. With our 3rd child, since the pria 85 is no longer an option we went with the all in one. I don’t know what it is, but the quality is substantially different. I truly googled if we had gotten a knock off car seat because everything about this car seat is so lacking in quality and just comparatively for a lack of better word, seems cheap. We are super bummed because we really loved the pria for our other children and purchased not expecting there to be such a difference in quality.

Terrible customer service

Kaylierae

This car seat doesn’t sit properly in my car and when asking for a refund and said I’ll send it back, they told me they couldn’t because it wasn’t a manufacturing issue and suggested I try to sell it online to get some of my money , you would think since they are a company catering to children’s safety they would at least take into consideration that it isn’t working for my child

Great car seat

Gatika

I bought this car seat 3 years ago for my daughter and now I’m buying it again for my new little one. I love the fact that you can take out the fabric parts and put in the washing machine. I’ve washed the parts of my daughters car seat for the past 3 years and it’s still holding up and going strong without any issues of the material ripping or showing signs of wear (maybe since I use a washing machine without an agitator).

Okay car seat

Mommy1

Works great for smaller toddlers not bigger toddlers. Doesn’t tighten the straps easily and you have to really pull to make sure the harness part is actually where it’s supposed to be. Had to switch the car seat to a different vehicle because it wouldn’t sit still and kept moving around even after switching the anchor to the seatbelt method. Wouldn’t purchase again.

Disappointed. Fabric doesn’t hold up at all!

Jess

Don’t bother after your first wash the fabric rips and won’t stay in place after it’s ripped. Very frustrating.

Previously amazing but not in new colour.

NicH13

I wish I could leave two reviews. We own 3 of these seats and they are amazing! They are so easy to adjust, baby is super happy in them and the only downfall I could find when we purchased them is that most kids bottles/cups dont actually fit in these cupholders. The reason my review has fallen so short now is we purchased two initially in the light grey and they have held up amazingly. We've never even washed them and they look brand new. I splurged and bought myself the newer version with the leather accents and the material is wearing so much. :( (I believe the colour is called Urban Wonder) It looks as though the material has been like weirdly bleached in some way (we have tinted windows so not that) and has some tiny pills in it. As I mentioned this one was the third one we purchased and by far looks the oldest. I didnt want to write anything negative as we love them but I dont want anyone else to run into the same issue.

Never again.

notahappymomma

The corner of the Velcro strap where it’s stitched sticks out and while my son was in the car seat for 7 minutes, completely scratched up his face turning in that direction. That is unacceptable, that was his first official car ride and his last in this car seat. The picture of his face is a day old - I was too upset and eaten up with guilt to make a picture right when it happened.

Versatile Car Seat for a Mom of Two

Maureen

I am Mom of two - a 5 year old toddler and a 2-month old baby. I was very excited to try the Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat from Maxi Cosi. It is certainly an advantage that you don't have to move car seats from one car to the other depending on your situation or who is going to be with me that day. Having just 1 car seat in the car also gives you extra space if you need to haul groceries or more extra seats if you are carpooling with adults to go have lunch or dinner. I will be honest that I had a hard time installing the car seat the first time. I am not one who religiously reads the booklet for instructions so I thought I'd give it a go and follow my instincts and experience from previous car seats I've used. But that has been an issue and made me very frustrated. So being a visual learner, I looked up a Youtube video on how to install Maxi Cosi car seat. Ten minutes later, I was able to install the car seat with no sweat or swollen fingers and hands. It was very easy to install and switch from infant rear-facing mode to toddler front-facing mode. Just take your time and read the instructions and learn the features or watch the instructional video. The car seat is really worth the effort. The first time I opened it, I loved the feel and look. The padding and the fabric feels like a luxury product for sure and looks very comfortable. It is soft and has a lot of cushion, even I, want to sit on it. The headrest is easy to adjust, I love the clips for the harness and the removable cups. I love everything about the car seat and this is a good choice if you are looking for something that can grow with your kid or work for both infant and toddler. The only functionality I can't get here is being able to carry my baby and transfer to stroller, the way I can when I am using an infant car seat. It can also look bulky because of the padding all around and bigger than an infant car seat. This product is sent to me as part of weeSpring parent panel for my honest review.

Not impressed. Super disappointed

Ashley R

I bought this car seat in 2022. The car seat cushion has recently come completely unraveled. I contacted customer care and gave them all of the information they needed. I even still had my original purchase receipt. After not hearing back for over a week I finally emailed them back reminding them that they have not replied back to me. I finally received a response which was unprofessional and short saying “nothing we can do for you” Not impressed with the “customer care” and they refuse to help me in any way. If I were you I’d buy a Graco car seat or go with a different brand. These don’t hold up, and God forbid if something happens to the product they will not help you.

The worst quality kid purchase I have ever made

Ali

We purchased 2 maxi cosi pria all in one car seats in mid August. They have been installed for approximately three weeks at this point. Both seat pads ripped in the washing machine with their first wash, and just this afternoon the styrofoam head rest broke on one while putting my child in the car. These are terrible quality and I seriously question whether they are safe.

Easy to install and Comfy

Anonymous

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. This car seat looks very sleek and stylish. The color is very nice and light grey, I am a bit worried at how it will fare with my toddler since she occasionally gets carsick. The seat my daughter was using before this was difficult to adjust and install and she always complained about it. Now with this new seat she has not complained at all. There is plenty of cushion and added pads at the crotch buckle and straps to provide further comfort. The car seat was pretty easy to install and it still provides plenty of space for the passenger in the front seat. Overall I would recommend this seat and we will for sure continue using it! My only complaint is the light color. I may use it as a forward facing harness for my 4 year old since she doesn’t get carsick. Both kids want it as their seat so that must be a good sign!

Save your money, buy cheaper

Kendra

I like the seat in theory, it functions and has many uses. However, I bought it for the longevity of being able to use it through many ages and sizes, but the fabric is of poor quality. I have been using mine on rotation with a hand-me-down, and after two years, my Pria is almost completely unsewn across all of the stitches where the child sits, yet my hand-me-down still looks like it’s in great shape! It’s a much cheaper, though still respected, brand. I reached out about replacing the fabric, but customer service never responded. One thing it does have going for it are the anchor buckles for rear facing, I really like the buckles they used!

DO NOT BUY! Horrible customer service and quality

Biancabeard

I’ve had my Pria for 2 years. The straps are so hard to tighten and a snap fell off the car seat padding. They sent me a nice invoice of $86 to replace a SNAP. Just but a Graco

i LOVE this carseat.

Kaylee

i went with maxi cosi for my daughter, i used my carseat for 6 years no issues at all ! my son has had his for 2.5 years and unfortunately he broke his head support while i was washing his cover, his warranty ran out. they replaced it at no cost. the carseats are extremely comfortable and definitely hold up. i will never not have a maxi cosi, they are so worth the money and i recommend them to everyone. we have a maxi cosi pria all-in-one but im sure theyre all just as amazing.

Lack of customer support

Aline

I found the buckle/strap system to be very weak. I have been trying for over 10 days to contact Maxi-Cosi to return the car seat and purchase a rotating model, which seems much safer. I was driving on the highway when the harness suddenly came loose, which was extremely dangerous. The straps also feel loose and not secure. I have already sent emails, submitted three requests through the website, and even sent SMS messages, but I have not received any response. I would like to know the proper procedure to return this product as soon as possible

Way too bulky

Mommy

You might think this is an ideal car seat. You only have to buy one so that saves you time and money, it looks nice and comfortable etc. When I brought my first child home I immediately noticed my average height and weight newborn was not safe in this car seat. It was way too big for her despite many adjustments. It did not look safe. It is so bulky and heavy the installation is very difficult. I can barely get it to fit securely. Two more kids later and I can’t fit three car seats in my car because these car seats are too bulky! The cup holder is in the way. If you are only having one child this might work for you but I’d recommend not getting this car seat if you want more children.

DO NO WASTE YOUR MONEY

Yazm

Such expensive item for terrible quality. Both my prias have been replaced due to the foam headrest snapping into two pieces. The fabric is also absolutely terrible- BOTH my car seat covers have been replaced because the seams rip easily. The Dorel customer service was always great about replacing my damaged items but they no longer want to do it.

Lasting quality

Jess

Ive had my boy in this car seat for 5 years and it is still perfect. The chest clip wore out and I sent an email and recieved a new one in the mail less then a week later. I've washed the fabric countless times and it's still in great condition. This car seat is the only baby product that is still around and we have used it nearly every day.

Tightening

Convertible

I love it but I can’t seem to tighten it to my liking?

We highly recommend this luxury car seat!

BriC

Pria car seat We are loving the Pria all-in-one convertible car seat that both our two year old and newborn baby can use up to 10 years old. The seat was very easy to install. The cushions are nicely padded for safety and comfort and easy to wash in the machine. Getting the kids in and out is seamless especially with the auto-magnetic chest clip that the kids can’t unlock. We are very happy with this luxury car seat and recommend it to all our friends!

Do Not Buy

keepyourkidssafe

Do not buy this car seat. Simple as that, it’s not going to tighten enough to feel safe. It’s cheaply made. Wanted to return but I didn’t get a response back in a timely manner to do so :) so I have lost a lot of money but there was no way I was selling this car seat to someone else. Look up safety reviews for this car seat!!!

Just what we needed!

NatAno

The material is nice and soft, and the designer black colour looks very trendy. The cover is easy to take off to wash, and easy to put back. The two cup holders are also nice to put a watee bottle and snacks. My child sits comfortably in it which makes drives manageable.

  • User experiences with Maxi-Cosi Pria installation and tightening struggles

I find the tightening on the Pria horrendous. The straps are so hard to pull, my forearms feel like they’re going to snap. I’ve never gotten a tight install with LATCH—gave up and use seat belt instead. Putting your weight on the seat helps reach the hooks, but it's still a battle.

  • Comparison between Maxi-Cosi Pria and Graco Extend2Fit for Australian parents

I had the Pria for my first and liked it but the harness is so hard to tighten. I’ve just bought a Graco Extend2Fit for my second and prefer it—so much easier to tighten and install. The Pria is lovely and plush, but the practicalities let it down.

  • Durability and ease of cleaning praised, but concerns over harness and width

We have the Pria and I love how easy it is to clean—the cover comes off and goes in the wash, dries fast. But it's really wide, and the harness is stiff. My husband hates tightening it. We also have a Graco and might go that route again if we needed another.

  • Praise for comfort and longevity, but mention of bulk and strap issues

I love my Maxi Cosi Pria. My daughter is 3 and still rear-facing comfortably. The fabric is super soft and washable. It is bulky though, and the straps can be a pain to tighten. Overall, I'd buy it again.

  • Tightening harness is major complaint, Graco compared as easier alternative

I hate the Pria because tightening the harness is nearly impossible. We fight with it every time. Thinking of switching to a Graco Extend2Fit because everyone says it's easier. The Pria looks nice and is comfortable, but functionality matters more.
