The most stable and secure carseat that my kids enjoy riding in. Easy install, tight but still comfortable harness that makes me feel like I chose the right seat. The recline is perfect for my 2 year old and 3 year old at different settings and the head cushion is soft enough that they fall asleep every single ride.

Best carseat ever
I purchased my first dlx 4-in-one carseat for for grandson 2 years ago, its perfect has inserts and cushioning head rest attachment for smaller children that can be removed as they grow. Purchased my second dlx 4-in-one last week for my granddaughter, these are by far the best carseats out there. The car seat comes with a balance meter attached for stability and correct easy installation. The harness increases the safety and is easy to use and comfortable.

I bought this for my 10 month old when he grew out of his infant seat. I love it! Very easy to use and install, clear directions and you can’t beat the safety ratings, which was the most important aspect to me. It also helps that it looks really nice! The strap tighten piece is so much longer than our old car seat, makes it so much easier to help her in and out! It’s so comfortable for her, she loves it. Hanging the head adjustment move the shoulder straps is amazingly simple to adjust. So glad we bought it!

I bought this for my son about a month ago and am so happy with my purchase. I love this car seat and it feels very safe. My only complaint is that his head sure flops around when he falls asleep but other than that he has so much room and seems to be very comfortable in this seat.

Best value for our needs
This is the second car seat we have bought in this model and I don’t think I have a bad thing to say on it. We purchased one for our first child and it has held up well over 2.5 years. Looked into all options with our second child and decided to stick with what we already love. It is easy to install and move from different vehicles. It grows with our kids and our now 3 year old can even buckle herself. It’s easy to clean top to bottom and the base doesn’t tear up my seats.

Came for the safety stayed for the price. Amazing to have such a safe carseat that will grow with our baby. I was sold when I read the reviews of another family that was in a crash and they said that this carseat had saved their baby. After we outgrew our first seat it is so nice to have one that will be used through all ages that a carseat is needed.

Great 4 in 1 carseat. My daughter is 5 and still using it and she says its the most comfortable carseat out of the 3 shes used. Having two cup holders is very convenient and how easy it is to make it bigger and move from vehicle to vehicle.

Our family loves this car seat! We had another Graco car seat for our son and it was amazing. This time, we went with one that will be used with our daughter until she’s old enough to sit in a seat on her own! I love the idea that I don’t have to buy a high back booster or a regular booster when the time comes, like we did with our son. We will be gifting this to our friend who is due in September! I bought this because my 2 year old niece was visiting. She loved sitting in it because it was so comfortable. Also, seeing how nice and snug the belts were gave us ease of mind. Overall its great!
Does all the things I need it to do in terms of securing my little one safely. However I do find its a bit bulky of a fit for smaller cars (I drive a crosstrek). So getting little one in and out feels a bit tight around the door, and I find the front seats need to be pushed closer to the dashboard than one might like. Also, the cup holders dont seem to snap into place, so if you have a curious child expect to find the cup holders removed often.

I upgraded my daughter to the Graco 4ever DLX 4-in-1 car seat after her first birthday, and honestly wish I would have done it a lot sooner! I absolutely love how easy it was to install. It has seatbelt style harness clips for the base so I can swap it from my car to a grandparents car quick and easily. My daughter has gone from crying in car rides to actually being able to “enjoy” them, I think it is because she is sitting up higher than her infant carrier car seat and it is much more spacious. Great quality. Easy to take apart and clean when milk spills happen. Overall I am really happy with it.

You can't beat a Graco
We love our Graco. My husband and I will sometimes share the car seat between our cars so ease of installation is really important to me because I'm the one who moves them back and forth. This car seat is super easy to install. The design is nice, though not as important as safety and I spent a lot of time researching car seats before landing on the Graco. I love it so much I even convinced my boss to purchase the same model for his toddler. My baby looks so cozy in her seat and once we transitioned her from her carrier to this seat, the car ride scaries ended. No more crying in the car.

We’ve loved the Graco 4Ever DLX. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, and grows with your child so you’re not constantly buying new seats. The biggest thing for me is that ours was actually involved in a crash, and it did exactly what it was supposed to—kept my child safe. That alone sold me for life. I did a lot of research before buying a car seat and this one checked all the boxes. The safety rating, comfort and installation from vehicle to vehicle. Easy assemble
Good car seat! We used it on a 10-hour road trip from Nashville to Florida, and overall it was very good. It's easy to clean, but the padding could be better, especially on the head. My toddler took three good naps and had no trouble staying in it for hours! The straps could use some magnetic features to make strapping easier. I love the idea of extending the foot space because I plan to keep the forward leg as long as possible. We didn't use the cup holder for cups, but it was great for storing the Tonie character, hahaha! However, the cup holders are very hard to install.

Was in the market for upgrading my daughter’s seat and came across this lifesaver. Literally perfect fit for my Jeep (GC) my passenger seat can move back and they can finally have leg room. The extra cushions in the seat are a bonus if you have a smaller child like myself. Great back and head / neck support for the most part. When she falls asleep her head goes down sometimes but I think that will happen with any seat. The seatbelts have extra pads so the straps aren’t rubbing her neck which is greattttt. Has a reclining options and adjustable headrest. You can literally use this seat till they are in a backless booster seat. So being able to watch her go through the phases is bitter sweet but for one affordable price is amazing.

Our family purchased this in November 2024 for our first child and have absolutely loved it. It’s very easy to adjust and fairly easy to install. The removable inserts were helpful for when the baby was smaller and needed the extra support. Baby seemed very comfortable in it and even now as a toddler seems happy in it and has plenty of room to grow!

I absolutely love this seat! We have an older model for my 6 yr old that she has had since she was 7 mos. Naturally when it came time for my son to get a bigger seat we knew we wanted the same one. Great seat, Bad cup holders
Everything about this seat is top notch, but for some reason the cup holders are too small for most bottles or drink cups. Fix that and this would be the best seat available.
Unsafe-blocking airway
I bought this seat for my 5 month old hoping that it would be more comfortable for her than her infant car seat but after installing it and harnessing her in it properly (approved by Graco CPST as well) it was placing her in a dangerous chin to chest position and compromising her airway. I am a NICU nurse and immediately recognized this and removed her from the seat but an unsuspecting parent may not which is scary. When a seat is designed for small newborns and up I would not expect a safety concern with my older infant such as this. The only solution the Graco CPST team could come to was me returning the seat and purchasing something else so this is what I did. I have decided to go with another brand and hoping it is a safer decision.

Perfect fit for my Suburban
I love that these seats are able to be used for longer than a year. Being adjustable makes it easier for kids to be rear facing longer. The available colors help make it more personal for you as well as for your child if you have multiples in the same style seat. I am able to fit 3 of these seats comfortably in the middle row of a chevy Suburban.

I got these to allow more leg room for my rear-facing kids and to have the ability to grow with them. -very easy to install and very secure. -lots of leg room for rear facing kiddos. -easy and multiple base adjustments allowing better comfort and ability to grow with for kids, and easier install ability (help to make seat level in vehicle.) -level on side helps for safe installation -height (back/head part) easily adjustable no need to rethread straps! (One of my favorite features) -insert padding is are already in place and easiest removable Note these are not slim fitting!! I have a toyota corrolla, 3 of these will not fit in the back row, I know this is important to some families. I got the blue and pink seats. The website picture for the pink doesmt do justice way cuter in person.
Our favorite seat!
I bought this a month ago to upgrade my 8 month old since i was tired of lugging around the newborn car seat. it was a game changer! it fit perfectly and the multiple recline options were perfect for my son still being smaller to lean back like his previous seat. It also seems to be much more comfier for him as he doesn’t have an issue being in the seat as much. Installation was a breeze as well!

Would give it zero stars if possible
Impossible to install in the back middle seat of a mid size SUV, which is the safest place for a car seat. It pushed my 18 month old's chin into his chest even at the most reclined option. His head flops around like a ragdoll even when going over small bumps. Returned and purchased a similar one from Chico and it is a thousand times better. Returned it in late April and have still not received a refund. Terrible customer service.

Bulky but seems comfortable
My baby hated his newborn bucket and often cried during car rides. For his first birthday, we upgraded to the 4Ever DLX and he doesn’t make a peep anymore. It’s easier for him to look out the windows, it seems more comfortable for him and he loves putting toys in the cup holders. We often move it between cars so I really appreciate the easy latch system too. It is quite bulky and requires us to move the front seat forward in my husbands sedan but it’s manageable and would be our only complaint.

My son had this seat when he was about 8 months and absolutely loved it. I would still be using it now but we were in a accident so that seat had to be replaced.
Mediocre at best, doesn’t tighten enough
I really don’t love this car seat. The quality of the fabric is very very nice, comparable to the luxury car seat that we have. However, it is almost impossible for us to get this car seat secure. I have read the manual and watched their installation video and my car seat still moves around like crazy. My nuna and britax do not have this issue. I also don’t like that the should straps are so low behind her. If I raise the headrest to raise the straps the headrest is too high. Honestly, I was hoping for more functionally. Won’t be buying graco again and won’t be recommending to anyone.

I specifically bought this carseat bc it was the push button latch...unfortunately when I got it out it was not its the older style latches.
Questionable safety
My son’s leg keeps getting stuck in the sides and it doesn’t seem to be taken seriously by the company. It’s leaving bruising and marks. All that was mentioned is how in the picture I showed that his chest clip wasn’t high enough-she said it’s needs to be to his armpits however the fire fighters said it needs to be at the nipples. Before it is questioned, the infant inserts come with a piece that blocks that section in the side, however it is to be removed at a pretty early point. I’m worried my son’s leg will be broken or that his hips will be dislocated. There has to be a better and safer design.
Worth the expense!
What I love about this car seat is not only the excellent quality and design, but also the fact that it’s adjustable up until age 10. My grandchildren love this car seat. It’s comfortable for them!

Take a look at Costco in store - may need to go up and down the aisles. They recently had the Extend2Fit for $299. I bought the 4Ever around Black Friday for $299. No issues with the seat, gets the job done. Almost went with the Nuna Rava at a significant cost difference and glad we didn’t!

CPST review: harness modes great, booster modes suck
Car seat tech here- the 4ever is fine, as long as you have realistic expectations. It’s a perfectly great seat in rear facing and forward facing harness modes. But booster modes suck and it’s not actually the last seat your kids will ever need! It’s a huge seat and sits up high in the car, so most kids really struggle to buckle themselves when it’s time for booster mode- a skill that’s way easier to master in a “dedicated booster” (a seat that doesn’t have a harness at all) because it sits lower to the vehicle seat and the buckle is easier to reach. From a child fit perspective, the 4ever is also outgrown by height earlier than most boosters because the height for the booster belt guide is shorter (the belt guide must be slightly above shoulder level for a proper and safe seatbelt fit, so a shorter belt guide = faster outgrown seat even if the on-paper height and weight rules look the same for two different seats). And the backless booster mode is awkward, bulky, and uncomfortable for a lot of kids because their knees end up sitting way higher than their bottoms. Plus- what 7-10yo wants to be riding in the same car seat they potty trained in?! All that to say, if the 4ever has the harness mode features that you want, and/or you get a good deal on it, go for it! There’s nothing wrong with it as a harnessed car seat. But you’ll need/want a separate booster eventually, so if you’re drawn to the 4ever because of the marketing about “only seat you’ll ever need” then skip it, your expectations won’t be met. (This isn’t just a 4ever issue- the same drawbacks apply to just about every car seat that tries to offer 4 modes of use and market itself as the only car seat a kid will need. Unfortunately at this point, there aren’t any seats that successfully pack that many functions into one product and manage to execute all the functions well/better than more staged separate seats. But! Boosters are cheap when the time comes, and things could change by the time your kids are 5-6 and booster ready! So focus on what they need for harness mode and worry about the booster situation later.)

Bulkiness and booster not worth the extra cost, preference for other Graco seats
No convertible seats have bases and aren’t meant to be installed/uninstalled across cars. Every time you take it out to put into the other you have to make sure it’s installed correctly, which is a PITA. I fully understand the extra expense (especially with twins) but it’s fully worth it to have seats dedicated to every car they’ll be in. With that out of the way, the 4ever DXL is so heavy and bulky. Also booster seats are super cheap once you get to that stage, so having the 4 way convertible is not worth the extra cost of the seat. 3 in one is just fine! We have the slim fit3 LX for my toddler and that’s a lot lighter, and smaller profile. Weight doesn’t matter too much unless you plan to travel with it on an airplane though. I plan on getting the extend to fit for my son (he’s a big chunky boy and I want to rear face as long as possible! And the rotating seat for my tiny little lady. No worries about her maxing the weight before she turns 4! Graco products are fantastic. I own so many between 3 kids that they really should sponsor me. You name it, I probably own it.

Strong dislike due to harness adjustment issues, switched to Nuna rotating seat
I got the one from Costco (Graco 4Ever DLX Grad) and I absolutely hate it. It’s rear facing now and so hard to put the child in and adjust the harness. Straps get uneven and hard to fix, and the strap you pull to tighten the straps get buried against the seat and trying to find and pull it is a challenge. I would 100% get a rotating car seat instead. I switched for a Nuna rotating seat and it’s fantastic in every way. But I heard Evenflo and Cybex rotating seats are really good too.

Quality concerns and preference for Uppababy Rove
I reached out to Graco customer service to clarify this and they said exactly this. So I ordered the car seat but when I saw it I did not like the quality the fabric looks soft but it does not seem long lasting. The color looks like I’d be cleaning it a lot and the cushions seemed thin. I ended up going with the Uppababy rove and is much better for 50 dollars more.
