How does the rail attach to the bed—does it slide under the mattress, use straps, screw to the frame, or something else?
We secure this rail with a strap-and-disk safety harness: assemble the rail, place it on the mattress support, stretch the straps across the mattress support/frame and anchor the disks at the back edge, then replace the mattress so the rail sits tight against the mattress (no screws or under-mattress plate required). The rail also adjusts to two height settings and is for use only with mattresses under 5" thick. [1]
