Worthless
I have never been able to get more than a few drops out of the straw but it flows freely from the air hole. Maybe both mine are defective but I have tried every single possible configuration and drinking angle with the same results
Dr. BROWNS Straw cup
It never worked. After following all instructions for cleaning and assembly, it would not produce suction. My daughter never got a drop out of it. I adjusted and readjusted the insert for the lid and the whole assembly and it would not get suction no matter what I did.
Immediate “mine” for my daughter!
We were given this in exchange for an honest review. My daughter is 1 and being transparent, we have tried many cups. As soon as I opened the package, she immediately wanted it! Each time it came out of the dishwasher it was on the counter, she immediately grabbed for it over any other cup available. I love the ability to lock the top to prevent leaking (iykyk) and the easy to hold handles. The slight weight at the bottom also was helpful when she wasn’t initially sure if it could be lifted up as a sippy cup or kept flat! Fortunately it can be used both ways! Love the design and easy cleaning! Will be buying more.
Baby’s First Straw Cup
These cups leak all over the place. We have 4 of them and when they sit (upright) somehow the milk comes up the straw and goes everywhere and not just a few drops. There are puddles of milk. Would return them for a refund if I could.
Hard for baby
I try this cup for my baby but its so hard sucking and he cannot drink with it .. even i try to drink but i found it so difficult for me also
Not a fan.
The cup is difficult to clean and the suction was too hard for my little one suck water through.
Leaks
Unfortunately this cup leaks, I love the design but there is always milk all over after my son uses it. I wouldn’t recommend it
Easy to hold, versatile, grows with child
I received Dr Brown’s Baby’s First Straw Cup. My child was able to easily use and carry it. I really like the weighted straw feature. My child loves ice in his drinks, this can sometimes cause trouble inserting a traditional straw, but the flexible weighted straw moves around the ice and he can still reach his beverage. Dr Brown’s Baby’s First Straw Cup holds a large amount of liquid (9 oz) and lasts a whole outing. With the cup having handles, it doesn’t roll away from my child. I also liked that this cup has an easy open/close feature to reduce leaks when not in use.
Nice sippy
I received this as a product tester. I love how easy it is to clean, and comes with a brush for the straw. My 7.5 month old baby who is breastfed with an occasional bottle, loved to chew on it and shake it, but wasn’t really understanding the sucking on the straw concept. I love that it is spill proof! I will definitely use this as she figures it out, but at this point she prefers sippys that have more of a nipple to chew/suck on for her water.
Features design for babies
I love this Baby’s First Straw Cup because the handles are easy for my baby to hold. The design of the travel friendly lid is good as well. It helps to keep straw clean when not in use, and easy to slide open for babies to drink. This cup is BPA-Free, I feel confident to let my baby use it.
Straw isn’t durable for toddlers with teeth
This cup is “good.” Would I recommend? Yes and no. I would recommend for 12m and under. Once they start getting teeth, I couldn’t recommend any more. I love this cup, and it’s definitely spill proof. However, I had to get replacement cups because my toddler was able to bite teeth marks into the straw. It should be able to hold up and be durable enough considering it’s for a child, but no. I haven’t been able to find replacement straws for this cup either which is deterring from making me want to buy another.
We love this cup!
My baby made a great transition to this cup due to the amazing design and thought process that was involved with designing this cup. I am a longtime user of Dr. Browns products and my children have used them throughout their whole childhood. That said, this cup is the best one I’ve ever used with my babies. It does not flow too quickly and allows them to learn how to use a straw on their own without me worrying! Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and I will definitely be purchasing another one!
Great first straw cup
My son loves his Dr. Brown's straw cup. I received this cup by the brand for my review. My son is always spilling his drinks with the small cups I've given him, even his bottle he tends to spill. This Dr brown's straw cup, couldn't come at a better time lol it's strong, it doesn't leak when my son tosses it or twists it while drinking. It was easy for my son to learn how to drink from his first straw cup. He loves it, he goes to the kitchen to look for his green cup. Thanks Dr. Brown's.
Toddler LOVES it
So a few months ago I was trying to find the best cup for my then 10 month old. It seemed like he didn’t really get the hang of cups you have to tilt back that have lids on them (like sippy cups) but he couldn’t handle an open top cup, or really one that could leak at all! He absolutely LOVES the Dr. Brown’s Baby’s First Straw Cup. He still slightly tilts it like a sippy cup (LOL) but the weighted straw does all the work so he always gets a drink. Oh, & he loves the silicone straw!
Great first cup for baby!
Dr browns gave me this product to try for my honest review. My son is obsessed with bottles and will not try straw cups until this cup! He was easily able to grip the handles and used the straw perfectly! He drank every little bit out of his new cup! I love the color choices for the cup and it even came with a tiny pipe cleaner scrubber to scrub the inside of the straw so it doesn’t get moldy! I would recommend this product to all parents to help get baby off of their bottles!
Great First Cup!
This cup is fantastic for a baby's first straw cup. It's durable and has held up to my 6 month old banging it on the highchair and throwing it. It's super easy to take apart all of the pieces and throw in the dishwasher to clean. I really like the fact that as babe gets older, you can take the handles off in order to build your child's skill of holding a cup without handles. This cup truly is spill proof and we will definitely be getting a lot of use out of it.
Love it! Must get for kids w/easier straw sucking
We received this cup as a promotion. The cup is better than the previous Dr. Brown straw cups! Easier for my kiddo to suck the liquid through the straw, much less power is needed to use for drinking, easier to hold with the curved handles, easy for my kiddo to open the part that hides the straw and closes it when he’s done drinking. My kiddo carries this cup around everywhere. I highly recommend this. Good color options. We have not had any leaking!
Amazing transition cup!
Dr. Brown’s gifted this cup to my daughter and little did they know it was a gift to me! This cup is super durable, really cute, and best of all easy to clean. No more spills or accidental messes. It’s easy to hold, my daughter picked it up very quickly. It also has a no leak top which is super important in these messy days. I would highly recommend this to any parent who has a child transitioning to big kid cups. This is a fantastic transition piece!
Useless cup, no suction.
We bought two of these and neither could get suction. After pulling it apart to look at the multiple pieces closer there is no path way for liquid to get from the piece inside the cup to the mouth straw piece.
I used to love the look at this cup
The new designs are hideous. You took a very nice looking cup and turned it into what looks like cheap garbage. Please bring back the original dark blue and olive. The new blue looks so cheap like I bought it at the dollar store I will now be purchasing from another brand. I loved this cup had no interest in looking at other brands and functions. Great with a great aesthetic. The new plastic is much cheaper and overall this product is not garbage.
Great design!
My favorite part of the sippy cup was the removable handle. Once your baby gets the hang of drinking with the handles on, you can remove the handles to transition to holding the bottle itself! The lid design is also genius (although you'd have to break it in before it opens and closes smoothly). It's a simple sliding lid that doesn't add bulk to the bottle like a removable lid. Both my 2-year-old and 8-month-old love this cup!
Cute kids cup
I was given this product in exchange for your honest feedback. The design of the cup is super cute. Handles are optional. The cup doesn’t leak. The only downside to the straw moving it the cup is upside down, if the straw gets bent, it’s had to drink from just like any other kinked straw. I would definitely purchase more since they are leakproof just watch if baby get frustrated it could be that the straw got kinked.
A little advanced for our 7 month old
This is a great product. I really like the straw piece that goes into the cup. It’s flexible so it will move the the bottom no matter how your child moves the cup. My daughter still doesn’t quite understand a straw but the concept is great. Only reason not a 5 star is the lid is a little hard to clean with the way it’s made. There are some small areas that you can’t really get to. But other than that it’s great.
Great Cup!
I was sent this cup to give an honest review of it. This cup is amazing! My son is 7 months old and he’s never used a straw cup before this. Once giving it to him, it took him maybe 2 seconds to figure out how to drink from it. I love that you can close the straw when not drinking and the easy to hold handles are removable for when he gets older. I highly recommend this cup as a first straw cup for your little!
Excellent cup!
I was given this cup to test and leave a review. I have been a fan of these cups in a different brand and dr browns did not disappoint. My little one is still learning how to use sippy cups, but I have caught drinking out of this several times already in the short time we have used it. It is a great design. Easy to hold and drink out of. Very minimal leaking out the straw (usually when in first fill it up)
Good cup
Dr. Browns gave me this cup to use and review. I really like features of this cup. Love that it can still be drank from if they are laying down. I did find that if I tightened the lid all the way, liquid would come up and out of the straw. Not too hard to clean. The straw part comes out pretty easily. I have given the cup to my little one and for some reason she will not drink out of it.
Perfect for little hands!
I was given the opportunity to test Dr Brown’s Baby’s First Straw Cup in return of an honest review and let me just say that I love it!! My daughter is able to pick it up and hold it with ease thanks to the handles. It’s super easy to clean because it comes apart easily. It’s leakproof so she’s able to lay it on the floor without worrying of making a mess. We love it!
Awesome Cup
We got this cup for my 6 month old and after handing her the cup, she was able to drink out of the straw after one minute! We will not be using sippy cups at all. The cup is leak almost leak proof. I filled it with water and left it upside down or on its side for hours without leaking, but if the slide is open, water can come out of the straw when held upside down.
Great straw cup!
We love this weighted straw cup. It’s easy for my 8 month hold to hold, and he doesn’t have any issues drinking water from the cup. He also loves the little Fox on the front. It’s not too hard to clean, but I did find that the sliding cover over the straw to stick and be a little difficult to open and close. Does not leak when closed, which is great.
She finally got it
We had tried other straw cups previously and maybe the stars aligned and the timing was right but she took to this cup almost instantly. I like that it is short so she can easily drink from it while sitting in the highchair. It can be a little bit of a pain to clean, which has to be done often since she usually gets food on it while eating.
Daughter Loves It!
I use this sippy cup for my 9-month old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. Not only does she have an easy time sucking the liquid through the straw, but she has taken to holding the cup by herself with the included handles. The cup has an overall great design and functionality, and I would highly recommend it for baby's first sippy cup!
I love this cup!
Everything about this cup is perfect. My daughter can carry it with ease with the handles, and can drink from any angle due to the weight in the bottom of the straw. This is her new favorite cup! The closure option that covers the straw keeps it clean and from dripping. The cup doesn’t leak at all, I’ll definitely be buying more of these!
Easy for toddlers!
I received this cup from Dr. Browns and immediately my toddler saw it and the color was great, easy to clean and easy for the toddler to use. With the handles that are attached to the cup it’s easy for little hands to use. The straw is very easy to clean and use. The 360 straw is very nice for the baby who is just learning the straw cups
Great First Cup!
This is the first cup I’ve used for my 6.5 month old son, and I will definitely be buying more. The cup is very well built. He can easily hold onto the handles and has no problems drinking from it. I like that the straw is extremely flexible and does not bother his little teeth. Easy to clean and is super cute. Would highly recommend.
It takes time but it works!
Love this cup! Like anything it took my daughter some time to get used to drinking from a straw but now she’s great! My only advice would be to give it some time and they do get the hang of it. Also this was the first Straw cup she’s ever tried so I don’t have anything to compare it to but she really liked it and does well with it!
Amazing Straw Cup
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and it is amazing. My son can actually drink from a straw and he can drink anyway that is comfortable. The straw inside the cup bends and can reach the corners to get all the juice, milk or water. My son can drink the cup upright or turn it upside down and he can still drink the whole cup.
Leaks
I'm not happy with the product. It's not easy to put together and it leaks. My daughter tried to use it for a couple of weeks but she could not sip from it as easily and we had to switch to a regular straw cup instead which she got immediately. One upside though is that it was easy for my daughter to hold the cup on the handles.
Awesome sippy cup
I’ve always loved Dr Brown’s products and this one definitely lives up to its reputation! I love that it’s leak-proof and the weight at the bottom of the straw helps you sip up every last drop. The handles are removable which is a convenient feature for cleaning or transitioning out from cups with handles. Thank you Dr Browns!
New favorite cup!
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and we love it! Daughter couldn't wait for me to get it out of package to try and it's quickly became our favorite cup. It's light enough for her tote around with it and I love that the handles detach. Easy to take apart to wash and put back together. Will definitely buy more for her!
Baby approved
This is the first straw cup my baby was ever able to successfully figure out how to drink out of. I like the option of using handles, the large amount the cup can hold, and that it is dishwasher safe. It seems the water comes up the straw more easily than some other cups we tried which makes it a great first cup option.
Baby’s first straw cup
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and my daughter liked it but it’s a little hard to keep clean with that ball on it and I wish when my kid drank out of it the straw wouldn’t leak but over all I did like the bottle and my kid will always use it but I just have to watch it so they don’t spill it through the straw
Easy first cup
Easy to use. We started with this as the first straw cup for my 6 month old. She was able to understand it almost right away. Only downside is the parts are difficult to clean and separate. It did come with one small straw cleaning brush, unfortunately the bottle vent cleaning brushes are too big to use on this straw.
Cup
I was given the product to review and when I received it the product is well made, does not leak, and my child was able to drink it laying down or sitting up. The only downside to this cup is when my child drinks from it, it makes a whistling sound that tends to get annoying but otherwise we really liked this cup!
Guaranteed success!
I received this product to test for free. But I would have been happy to purchase this too! This cup guaranteed success for my child thanks to the weighted straw. Whether he tilted it or now he was able to get milk which grew his confidence in using it. The handles are easy for him to hold and I love the color!
Works good
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and my daughter absolutely loves it. It has a slide on the top to flip the straw up and down. It is easy to take the handles off and make it a cup with out handles. It comes with a straw cleaner that makes cleaning the tube easy. Overall very pleased with this straw cup
Awesome!
The first thing that I really loved the most was that the lid stayed open on this cup, when it was being used. The straw was very soft and flexible, my daughter loved it. I very much appreciated that it was spill proof for all activities. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review,
Easy to use
This was so easy for my son to use. He will not use a regular sippy cup but LOVES this one. This has made transitioning to a cup so much easier. He is able to grab this and bring it to his mouth with easy. The flow is perfect so I know he will not choke on getting to much water. Best cup around!
Great cup for little ones
We have used this cup for a little over a month and we are fans of it. I love that it is spill proof as I don’t have to worry about my little one leaking juice or whatever is in the cup everywhere. It has great handles making it easy to old and I love the close flap lid to help keep the straw clean
What a Great Idea!
I received this cup for Free as a Sample and I have to say it was better constructed than I expected. I cannot stand cups that leak, or don't work correctly....but this cup is durable, it doesn't leak, the straw is flexible and soft for a Toddler. Love this Idea and this Cup for my Granddaughter!
Love the handles!
My little guy really likes the handles on the cup. He seems to prefer this straw style over the regular sippy cups we have tried. The cap is a great feature especially since we are always on the go and I don't have to worry about the straw getting dirty or it spilling all over the place.
No leaking
Very well made cup that doesn't leak! The movable cover for the straw is a little difficult to open, but its helpful to keep it from leaking and baby from opening it when he shouldn't. The handles are helpful for our little guy to learn how to hold a cup. Overall, it's a great straw cup
Perfect
We tested this about a month ago as his first cup. Here still isn't used to a straw cup but he's getting there. I love that he can sip whichever way he's laying. Once he gets the hang of it, he'll love it. They didn't have chips like this with my first. Here would have loved it too!
Great Features!
I like that the straw has a weight on the bottom so it follows the liquid in case little one tips the cup too far. It also has good grip hgandles for little hands and comes. I also like that the straw doesn't always stick out. For moms it comes with it's own little bristle cleaner.
Easy for little hands to hold
The cup itself holds a surprisingly large amount of liquid. The size and handles are perfect for little hands. What I think is unique about the cup is that the inner straw is flexible and it will move with the cup so if your baby leans back they will still get the liquid. We love it!
Great Cup!!
I love this cup and so does my toddler. It's hard finding cups that are decent in size for toddlers. My daughter had made this ine of her favorite cups. Also it doesn't leak!! There are so many cups on the market that leaks and that just leak and leak. This is NOT ine of them. 10/10
Best sippy ever
This sippy cup is such a convenient cup . Baby instantly fell in love with it it is easy to clean. It's very durable. And helps baby drink with a straw insert that is able to reach the drink in all positions of the cup being held. My baby will now not even want any other cup .
Very well made cup
This cup is used by my baby every day. It is very well made and doesn’t spill. It is very helpful in transition my baby from bottles to cup. The handles on the side helps my baby to hold the cup more firmly. It’s easy to clean. I love the color. It’s lightweight as well.
Actually really cute
It was actually a cute water bottle and my daughter was in love with it! I did notice it did leak when she swung it around and if we didn’t have the cap locked on top but I feel like that is hard to avoid. I love the color. I did also notice when she tips the bottle completely upside down the plastic straw actually bends and kinks becuase it’s a thinner plastic. I’m wondering if the plastic straw inside the cup was thicker that it would avoid a complete kink and keep to more of a curve in this situation, this would also benefit the weighted bottom more!!! Thank you!
Perfect for learning!
My 7 month old does not take a bottle but is learning to eat real foods so I decided this would be a good alternative to the bottle. He caught on the second day of using. He loves it and the handles are great! It's very easy to clean and doesn't leak when he's swinging it around! The only problem I had with it was pulling the straw cover back but after a few times it got easier. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends!
Easy use for 8 month old!
I received this as a gift for my honest review. We love this cup. My 8 month old uses it easily. It is truly 360 if they’re confused about whether to tip it or not. We only used it for water and formula. The handle is removable and it can be tricky to get it lined up and screwed on but it keeps it square to the straw which is nice. So glad to have a sippy that he can use already since we plan to ditch bottles at 1.
Great design and an easy to learn design.
Dr. Browns sent me this product for free in exchange for a review. First of all my 11 month old could not be happier with it. I was worried at first about how well she would take to it but she took to it instantly. I was very impressed. Really simple assembly and instructions. She loves the little handles around it. It even comes with a piece to fully clean the cup in every crevice after use. Really good about not leaking also. Both mom and baby are very happy.
Ease of use for little toddlers
Bought one for my child around 12 months because Dr Brown's had proved excellent products with the infant bottle nipples. Toddler took to it so well that we bought another for a relative's baby at 1yr too. I recommend it to anyone that asks. Leakproof, not too many parts to clean, little ones have been hydrating well, and it travels easily. Endures being dropped by little hands. Will introduce it earlier than a year with our next children.
Great for babies on the go.
This is great for babies who are on the go, walking and just everywhere. The straw moves so where they are able to get the liquid out no matter what position it is. I really liked the concept only thing I did have a hard time was cleaning the straw and removing all the juice it had even while using the straw it came with but other than that my baby seemed to do good with it.
Love the features!
Dr. Brown gave me this cup for free for review. Overall good cup my 10 month old likes it but it’s not fully spill proof. Love that you can close the straw to protect it from germs if it falls on the floor. But my son like to swing his cup around, so if there is milk in the top part of the straw without closing the top then milk may splatter everywhere.
Baby’s fave cup
My daughter is almost one and just recently learned how to drink from a straw. She loves this cup from Dr. Brown. It doesn’t spill even when the cup is turned on its side. It’s easy to clean and safe to put in the dishwasher. My little one doesn’t like the old sippy cups now because she wants to use the straw. I highly recommend.
The Perfect first Straw Cup!
I received the Dr. Brown's Baby’s First Straw Cup, 9 Ounce for my daughter and she absolutely loved it! Was great as her first Straw cup in every way and best of all no spills! She used it during meals and snack time. Definitely a must for any parent looking for that first straw cup for baby. Recommend!
Awesome! Especially for my special needs guy!
I received this as product testing! My two boys enjoyed it and were able to suck quite well from straw. Most straw cups on the market are hard to suck from straw. One of my boys has issues gripping ups and sucking from a straw cup. He did quite well with this trainer cup.
Top Quality and Super Cute
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try, and my baby loves it. It helped me as I was transitioning her off of the bottle. The quality is top notch, and the color is super cute! I would definitely recommend this Baby's First Straw Cup to other parents.
De Brown’s Baby’s First straw cub
The Dr Brown baby first straw cub my son in his development and in being able to use the bottle more easily for his growth is to go from the bottle to the glass, the cub it the quality materia al desig like for baby’s. This cub is gift from dr brown.
Amazing!
Baby's First Straw Cup is awesome. This cup doesn't spill. It doesn't drip, crack, break, fracture, or bust. It is easy to clean and sanitize. My baby had absolutely no problem using this cup and it is his absolute favorite. I highly recommend it!
This is a smart solution
I received this cup for free in exchange for a honest review. The cup is spill proof and the straw doesn't come out. Not sure if that may cause a concern for mold later. They included a brush to help with cleaning.
I was given this cup for a review
Let me tell you baby Dr.Brown is on to something I like the straw part and it's easy for my baby to pull love the cup great product done perfectly
Great product
I love how it works color, it’s super easy to use and makes drinking easier fun and wanting more.
Worth buying!
My daughter loves this straw cup. It's very easy to use and to clean as well.
Zippy Cup
My baby is 4 months and uses it perfect love it. Very easy to use and clean
Easy to use!
My daughter has had an easy transition using this cup and even being able to switch the piece that covers the straw on her own. This cup has some nice functionality and features as well, like the straw piece that goes in the cup allowing your kiddo to drink at any direction seamlessly. The cup has a nice flip top that covers the straw and is easy enough for a toddler to do on their own but still has a little click lock ability to hold it closed. The handles are removable which makes it easier to take this on the go! I also love that it comes with a nice small brush to get inside of the straw to cheap. I did receive this product from Dr. Brown’s in exchange for my honest review.
Best straw cup I've seen
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and I was honestly surprised at how quick my daughter took to it. I had not really considered straw cups for her to use because, in my mind, the only ones on the market had the old school design which usually led sucking in lots of air if the cup was not angled correctly. The soft straw within the cup moves to ensure she is always able to drink the liquid no matter how she holds the cup. There are also markers on the side with ounces are also a plus for moms who want to keep track of their little one's intake. It was easy to take apart for cleaning especially with the brush included in the package for cleaning the straw. I've already ordered two more because it is the best in my opinion and highly recommend this to other moms.
Toddler approved
My 1 year old is very picky about cups and this is now her favorite, she refuses to drink from any other cup.I am very pleased as well. You can use with or without the handles, the colors are bright,it's lightweight. We love it!!!Especially the fact she can drink from it while tipping.
Cute cup
I recommend this cup to anyone looking for a starter straw cup for their little one. The handles on the side make it easy for baby to grab. It's easy to assemble, and I like that there are measurements on the cup.
Great!
Dr Brown gave us this cup to try and we love it! So easy for baby to use and drink from. Also so very easy for cleaning
Easy to hold!
We love this straw cup the best out of all the ones we have. I love how the weight at the bottom is perfectly rounded so the straw is always in the drink. The handles make it super easy for my 7 month old to hold and carry. The straw and lid works perfectly and doesn’t leak! Dr. brown sent us this product to try and it’s become our favorite cup to carry around with water!
Easy to use
I was sent this to review and I’m so glad I was. It’s so easy to use my little one is finally off of bottles now. This cup made it an easy transition.
Great product
I’ve been struggling on what cup to have him drink water with. I really wanted one of those aesthetic looking cups that come in cute colors, but I was afraid that they wouldn’t be as user friendly for my baby and almost all the ones I looked at were not leakproof. This is a great first choice, my baby drink from the straw almost immediately. The weighted straw is great he’ll still be able to drink from it once he’s able to grasp things better and hold his cup in different angles.
Easy to use
We love this straw cup. Tested it out on my 7 mo EBF baby , thought it would take her a while to figure it out but she got it immediately and she loves it . It's easy to clean as well.
Highly recommend!
Dr. Brown’s gave me this product to try and I fell in love with it! My child goes through “sippys” like no other and they manage to chew the straws to were it’s unusable. This product has been great and I love how durable it is and how easy it is to clean. My child loves to lay and watch tv and this cup gives them something to sip on even at the oddest angles. It’s a fantastic cup and I highly recommend it to everyone!
Good first cup for littles
I was chosen to test this cup and my 18 month old really loves the straw cup. It is easy for her to handle and it is very easy to clean. The straw is easy for her to drink from and it’s nice that it has the weight in the bottom of the straw to keep it in the liquid even if she tips it up.
The Almost Perfect Cup!
Ok, so we love this cup for so many reasons – size, ease of use, etc. It really is the perfect cup. EXCEPT the straw in ours is too long (longer than it is in the picture), so the weighted straw function does not work. It's such a bummer, because it is ALMOST perfect!! We do continue to use it regardless, but if the straw was right it would be 100%!
Good quality
It is a 9oz bottle. With a cute design and pink color, it grab my daughter's attention. It is easy to clean since cleaning brush comes with it. The handle makes it easy for her to hold the cup. It is easy to take apart and put it back together. It is hard for kids to open the lid (adults will have to open and close the lid of the bottle each time).
Best Cup!
My niece loves this straw cup. We had bought her a regular sippy cup and she just couldn't figure it out. As soon as we handed her this Dr. Brown's straw cup she instantly started drinking from it with no problems. She absolutely loves it! I love that it came with a little cleaning brush for the straw that makes the whole cup extremely easy to clean. We will definitely be buying her more.
Dr. Brown's Baby's First Straw Cup - Peach!
Dr. Brown’s gave me Baby's First Straw Cup in Peach color for my baby to try and I provide the honest reviews in return. My baby instantly loved using this BPA-free cup with soft and flexible straw, which my little one found quite easy in holding it at any angle. Moreover, this sup is spill-proof and travel safe, as well. The handles of this straw cup are easy for little hands to hold. Also, the lid stays open when my baby drinks out of it, and also it keeps the straw cleanwhen not in use. This straw cup is easy to use, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. This cup also comes with straw cleaning brush, which is cool. I have already recommended the Dr. Brown's Baby's First Straw Cup in Peach color to many of my friends and family with kids older than 6 months, and several of them have already purchased this straw cup for their infants and their infants love using this straw cup, as well as they all feel safe that this straw cup is BPA-free, as well.
Not great
I bought this last month. My baby not yet using because he didn’t know how to sip. He was 6 months old. I feel disappointed when I try to put water because it’s leaking.
I Love It
My experience with the Dr. Brown's cup is very positive, just like their other products because they are made with our babies in mind, the cup is spill-proof and its material is strong and resistant. You can use it in any position and the child will always be able to drink its liquid.
Perfect
To begin with this is a perfect straw cup for a baby that is just starting to drink from a cup. My baby is in love with it. We take it everywhere, it is lightweight so my baby can easily hold it without dropping it. It takes a good amount of water and it seals good enough to prevent leakage. This cups have 2 plastic handles that are perfect for the little hands of my baby. I love the design of it and the overall shape of it. The straw is super soft and flexible for my baby’s gums, it have the perfect size and the suction is amazing it takes all the water out. Overall I really recommend this straw cup for beginners.
Great first cup!
First impressions are always the best! When I got this cup, I had to test it out before giving it to my child. So I filled it up and tossed it around. I dropped it off the high chair, off a table, shook it around and was surprise that it didnt spill. My child was able to have a drink successfully through the straw. She loves it! Being a first time mom meant I wanted everything perfect the first time. I didnt want to go through 10 different cups just to find the right one. I didnt have to do that with this one and that's what i love about this cup! [I recieved this product for free in exchange for my honest review]
My daughter absolutely loved this cup! But, after a few uses it lost it's suction. I've taken it apart multiple times to try to figure out why, but I can't find anything.
Horrible Cup
I literally never do this but out of pure frustration I felt compelled to leave a review. These cups leak more than any cup I have ever seen. Liquid literally travels up the straw and pours out of the cup profusely. You dont even have to tip the cup. I had to throw away an entire diaper bag because of the mess it causes attempting to prep travel cups.
Great features!
Our son is 11 months old and just starting the transition to a sippy cup with a straw. This cup has multiple features that are making this transition easier: - it is small so it's easy for him to handle -it has handles so it's easier for him to hold the cup - the bottom of the straw is flexible so when he tips the cup, the bottom of the straw moves to the bottom of the cup where the fluid is. - easy to take apart and clean - seems durable, he drops and throws it daily and it hasn't broken yet
Great cup! With one flaw.
I received this product to test for free. The pros: SO easy to clean. Putting together and taking apart was a breeze, unlike others where you fight with the straw to go through correctly. Easy to use- my daughter is just now starting on straw cups and she had no issue figuring this one out. The cons: it was too easy for my daughter to push the straw back into the cup, resulting in spilled water all over my hardwood floor.
