Fan opinions on Merry Christmas II You tracks and overall feel
Definitely enjoy it, I think the worst thing about the album is the album cover, could be way better. Love Oh Santa, When Christmas Comes, Christmas Time Is In The Air Again, One Child, O Holy Night, All I Want For Christmas Is You (Extra Festive). Dislike Here Comes Santa Claus/Housetop Celebration... I feel like that medley was out of place. The snippet of Charlie Brown is amazing tho. Underrated album honestly.

Reactions to 15th anniversary vinyl announcement
I was hoping for something like a special edition CD with extra songs π«€... I doubt it, as she usually waits for 20/25/30 for those, but I understand the frustration... The sound is very good... I've never seen anyone not have a bad copy honestly, unless you go for black... I like the album, but I come back to it the least of her Christmas albums. I only really like 'Oh Santa!' and 'When Christmas Comes'.

MCIIY is underrated β discussion of strengths and vinyl quality
It's definitely underrated... I think it's better than a lot of Christmas albums that get more love. I ordered the vinyl and it came warped and scratched. I wouldn't recommend it. The pressing is terrible... I actually rank this as her strongest Christmas album. The production is lush and her voice is still in good shape. The medleys are creative.

Celebrating 15 years of MCIIY β track highlights and legacy
Can't believe it's been 15 years! This album has grown on me so much. I used to think it was a big drop from Merry Christmas, but now I appreciate its own vibe. 'Oh Santa!' is a classic, and 'When Christmas Comes' is so soulful. The vinyl reissue is a nice add to the collection, though it's a shame there's no new content.

Questions about the album's reception and vinyl issues
Why does this album get so much hate? I think it's really festive and has some great moments. But the vinyl I got was noisy and the cover looks cheap. The tracklist is solid but some songs feel like filler. Definitely prefer the original, but this one isn't bad.
