I’ve looked at the Bright Starts one and that Skip Hop one. The Skip Hop seems like a better product because it actually adjusts to allow baby’s feet to be flat and is a better height for most. The Bright Starts one does bounce (but it’s a bouncy pad on the floor, not bouncing the seat like a typical jumper) and the Skip Hop one is just a 'stand in the middle' without a bounce feature. I think the Bright Starts has a platform that makes it so their feet still sit flat which is better than a typical jumper.

Science-based concerns about jumper and activity center safety
The main issue is container baby syndrome. Increased container use is directly correlated with developmental delays. However some containers actually promote development, e.g. an activity center with the seat on the outside like the skip hop one. In those, baby can't lean, so they are constantly balancing, which helps build muscles. In a jumper or bumbo seat they can lean, which inhibits muscle development.
