Recline angle and bubble indicator issue with EZ-Lift Plus base
After installing the base tightly with LATCH, the bubble indicator still shows it's not level. I had to use a rolled towel under the base to get it into the green zone. Also, the LATCH strap is really tough to tighten enough—I felt like I was wrestling with it. The carrier is super light, though, which is nice.

Travel system choice: Baby Trend jogger with EZ-Lift seat
We ended up with the Baby Trend travel system that includes the EZ-Lift infant seat. The car seat is fine—lightweight and easy to pop in and out of the car, but the stroller feels a bit cheap and bulky for everyday. I wish I'd gone with the Mockingbird single-to-double stroller and just used a more padded car seat from another brand, but the Baby Trend seat itself does its job safely and was affordable.

The Baby Trend EZ-Lift Plus is super lightweight and easy to carry, but the installation was frustrating—the base never felt rock solid even with LATCH, and I had to use a pool noodle to get the right angle. The fabric feels cheap and the padding is thin. However, for the price it's okay, it's FAA approved, and the handle as anti-rebound bar is a nice safety touch. It's fine as a backup or travel seat but not my primary.
