Warning against using KidCo pressure gate at top of stairs on BabyBumpsCanada
We have the KidCo auto close pressure gate (G1201) and love it for doorways, but I would NOT put it at the top of the stairs. The bar at the bottom is a trip hazard. KidCo themselves says not to use it on stairs. For top of stairs, get a hardware-mounted gate instead.

I have the KidCo extra tall pressure gate in black. It’s been perfect for our wide hallway. No drilling, holds tight, and the auto close is handy. But again, not for stairs—there’s a bar at the bottom you’ll trip on.
