As others have mentioned... the walk through part is super narrow, I have to turn sideways to go through it. Also the latch is not easy to use with one hand at all, I have to use two hands to close it and sometimes it doesn't catch.

I'm really not a fan of the Regalo gates. Yes they're cheap and they work but the latch mechanism is so chintzy. It doesn't close easily, it's super hard to do one handed, and I worry about the plastic breaking. It's 'good enough' I guess but I wish I'd spent more.

Regalo Gates Used at Top and Bottom of Stairs Despite Warning
I have a Regalo Easy Step Extra Tall gate at the bottom of my stairs and a similar one at the top (mounted to the wall with the cups). They've been great for us so far. I know they say not to use at the top of stairs but lots of people do without issues. With the hardware mount it feels secure.
